in the ninth inning or you know Extra Innings but dude there's pain points but there's also like Weaver's electric as much as it's annoying they went to Clay in the 7th and it does count as a blown I don't know if concern is the right word but it's not happening right now uh bottom of the line I'm not doing much so they're just walking the guys up top basically um and they get it done so The I mean we see as Waldo leid at first we see John birdie pinch running for glaber so there's a lot of a lot of the touch points happened and when you put it in a win Everything feels better although no going to be like hoodie weather and I was like yep it's GNA be good that home run was was a big one like just the crowd The Dugout you know the Royals are a potential playoff matchup kind of dead at that point Boon is screaming in the in The Dugout judge was screaming um Wy just looks great so that was awesome the sloppy defense was not good otherwise I thought rhodon pitched pretty well and then [Music] um cousins and Weaver good we talked a little bit about this game yeah this was we had boony the day after this boony boony was hype like you talked about uh your guy Mike who you just mentioned he said after the game well rules and I'm really happy Verdugo is crawling out of his shame cave oh we have Verdugo homers after as Waldo walk um and yeah that that seventh inning man I mean those the bats were starting to get just a little tighter and a little tighter and I mean that Wells Homer is like one of I don't know top top five signature Homer of the year maybe I I maybe we always play this game yeah you always make me have to think now I don't you don't have to I don't know of it's top five I could say top seven done actually no [ __ ] off meet me at six um I don't know because judg off the table judges hit so many exactly that's why they don't stand out birds or I always call Rice bird Rice's third one that was cool it's a good one dude when Stan hit the backto back six homers of this year I'll consider it okay cons considered um but beibs won't hard of the deal the top of the lineup was good this whole series even game two do you have a burn for game two I mean more or less game two I mean America obviously had their eyes on kind of what we just did it was debate night in the country um Game 2 LOSS but oh my dude that was I mean that's got an argument for what like top five snoozester so bad offensively like I'm not trying to discredit Lugo I think he was really twisting them up yeah but even like Lugo had to at one point go to The Dugout to I don't think salvi was catching him the other kid was I don't know who was and just be like yo this is easy yeah I mean I know I would I guess we're at that game um Lugo like I don't there is only one at bet Stanton in the same at bat got two pitches to hit otherwise a lot of the Yankees were just uncomfortable it was wild and um unearned runs what was what was the pitching in this one no strowman ends up with a decent line no he doesn't when he was in the sixth and I was like oh if he completes this it's a quality start but he didn't his quality start number on the year I think I read a tweet it's like he's got none no he's got five but of so many you know not a ton of length yeah seven hits two walks and 5.1 and then lighter comes in and he gives up a homer and it's like dude who what are you what is that so that's all I think it's stunk yeah game stunk I mean the Y if you go wherever you get your box scores uh Espin MLB baseball reference wherever uh the Yankees almost have there's actually nothing in their batting I don't know if I've ever seen this laor has two hits right uh glaber had two hits the rest of the team had one glaber had no hard hit balls Soto had one hard hit ball Wells had one hard hit ball probably his hit and Stan had one hard hit ball yeah glaber had the leadoff bloop bloop that uh otherwise it would have been like would have been a no hitter for a long time yeah it was bad I think we should stop talking about it done okay I never started deal and then game three comes out with an interesting lineup if we want to Yanks Win Game 3 on a Walk-Off! after the burn we can talk about that sure like a shotgun with a toy fire starter it's a double barrel rubber match in the Bronx Co Ryan firsts Lis heel and both lived up to the billing Mass equals gas as Michael goes big fly for KC but that was the only mistake for heel five innings pitch one earn run five KS could the Yanks leg across any runs only one leg could s o t o stto childish Bambinos two run Homer gives them the lead Yanks get stuck in the clay a little bit and CP up the lead we're tied at two buos kto shot for shot in the 10th but in 11 let's play him out with some Frank and some light Jazz Chisum infield single the mustache man John birdie scores the game-winning run heel to Hill to holes to Canley to cousins to Weaver Yanks R 4 three and take two out of three from the royals hey you got a name for this pen no dude but I think they deserve I think kanley cousins and weave deserve a name uh I think you're right okay that puts us in a good spot to move forward but yeah I don't I don't know okay they all got the hard C Canley cousins LC oh first name um well first name second sound let's think about it let's think about sleep on it like are you putting Tim Hill in pitcher who has reverse splits so Wells doesn't play trino plays we knew that would happen with catchers you do that and you need Wells to pinch it maybe you should have pinch it earlier in the game in my opinion but whatever we knew that Trina would start this game uh Rizzo gets the start he's every day vulpi gets the start uh Verdugo gets the start over the Martian Boon had an answer for this that was a lot of words that didn't really it was like uh filibustering or like just talking I think think it's fine if he says this is a lane where I think I can get Verdugo a day and I still think it's worthwhile to get him a day but D Ming is gonna get majority of the starts but his answer was like did you read it or hear it uh I saw it I I saw it and I don't know again like I was I was a little less surprised when when after we talked to Boone you know you and I and some other Yankee fans in the office like I I kind of thought Verdugo was gonna start this game yeah and I think the answer is just because they it's the Yankees PR team that they don't want to start more smoke and fire and I dude I don't think Dominguez Dominguez really struggles versus lefties which is so Verdugo I know which is the horrible irony of it but I think they think Verdugo is better versus lefties so unless John birdie snags the left field vers lefties job which they're not going to do like I think those are going to be a lot of veroo I I totally agree I like I'm fine with the decision that was made and I think there's logic to it because Verdugo has no pop or like batting average versus lefties this year but he draws Walks Like that's what he's been doing he did get a single today and then he ran ran into an out getting get in a second but I just just Boon's answer was wild um I'll read it to he said it's more Reagan Reagan is a guy that's really tough on righties as a left-handed pitcher I kind of wanted my lefties in there today but being that Dominguez better side is the left side so you consider a guy that's really tough on righties and I want to keep doie playing I kind of wanted a left-handed presence in the lineup today knowing I was going to give Wells a day today it was just that it's just so much like double negative sentences like Wells I wanted a lefty presence knowing I was giving a lefty off is how the I sent in reads and again I'm fine with all the moves I understand the theory but I when when you read that it's like Bo what what what is it interview before and after every game 324 interviews at this point he's just it's baby Babble yes that's what it is it's like next time he does one of those interview Baby James same think James gets stuck he gets stuck on certain sentences so let's yeah anyway that was the lineup and then they finally played Extra Inning baseball they bunted V over as Waldo bunted Vol over they pinch they pinch it Wells um and I do like the pinch it of Wells because Wells hits the ball in the air yeah and yes you want the sack fly but you want the possibility of a homer to to uh Take the Lead because well be was just a tying run or the possibility of a double to and and and he's way more likely to get you the extra base hit while still the same percentage of sack fly in my opinion yeah I was I I was running the Jakey computer on my couch and I was like this is an interesting one because if you've left trino into this point he's played the whole game you have a lefty out there and bich has a little bit of funk like it's it's a weird arm angle that pinch hitting Austin wells in that situation I very much believe pinch hitting is a lot harder than when you've been playing in a regular game um and the infield in runner on third I was like this is I mean this like this should be one of the final trino Lanes if there is one uh and the Yankees kind of stated that it's not which again overall is a win so I yeah that's where I that ended up being the trump card for me of being like yeah okay I think uh Trevino's Lane is Day games after night games and the the off Lefty just to give Wells a spell like I don't think he has like even like Cole's personal catcher they've done away with that so and I agree with that as well like yeah Wells has been the guy so clean up nice to see there was that funky double play where trino tried to avoid the tag didn't avoid the tag vulpi round third I want to get your opinion on that um cuz you know I I saw there was a lot of the interstate that was mad at vulpi my my initial reaction wasn't too mad like but I'm I'm a very aggressive base runner guy I know he has he wasn't aggressive yeah you got to round third with speed I've said that that was was that because like if salvi saw him rounding hard he would have been dead to rights I guess that's I I need to see like some of those extra angles to get my full thoughts on it yeah I mean I also could be you know a base running coach could listen and say you're [ __ ] wrong Jimmy so like because I don't know my hunch is he should be looking over there and rounding while watching right he kind of broke it down before even taking a peak and maybe that's on roas job to communicate but it was the same thing with who else did this recently and I I was like was Trent Trent like round third so if you if there's a bobble if you're there like then it's like a secondary lead then you know you dive back to the bag yeah or you then you have momentum I thought that's what Paulie was saying too was like gotta be aggressive past the B that's what I always thought but again I am not trying to say I'm an expert in this field I'm just a fan who has that thought well yeah I I think the Trent one I I was with you a th% cuz that was like a ball to the Outfield like take take every step the plays there this this one's this one's interesting for me and I I want to look into it further just because I I see every side of it and it took like a perfect throw oh yeah well I'm still fine with him going it took a perfect throw from Salvador Perez in foul territory playing first base to get him so like that's where and I this is this is a pretty lame analysis for me uh if any of you have ever watched any of our baseball JM gaming videos I'm way too aggressive on the bases I I don't it's it's comical and like for someone that watches a ton of baseball I don't know um so again I could be pretty off on this one uh but I I in a way I liked it when there's a hesitation or anything like that yeah and especially when you're out by a hand I still likeed that he went and pushed the envelope I just wish that he didn't slow himself down that much right but again I'm not a someone that can speak I don't know fan talk how much of that is in the initial deak of when like salvi's going to look over the first time but you got thrown out you get thrown out how about dude salvi out ating like everyone he looked special this is dumb but how awesome salvi is I mean I know he obviously raak against us in this series and the last one but like he's he's everything you want yeah no he's awesome and when he came up in extras in this game and I again agreed with Paul O'Neal I would almost made a video about it to post it but I was fighting Amazon Prime walk him and they tried to pitch around him yeah cousins does not have the stuff to do that and they end up giving up the lead the go-ahead run that would have been a terrible way to to lose uh and then I wanted to see how much has Trevy caught cousins has to be a decent amount right what like I can't figure out his timeline and trev's injury timeline oh yeah it can't be a ton right uh four Innings before tonight because trev's very good defensive Catcher And he looked like oh [ __ ] that slider's turbo mode yeah hey what um you know I think there's the Jazz like five star defensive play in this one I guess anything else in this one that wouldn't be an award but um I don't know it's kind of this time of year let's say the worst happens in the Royal or if the Orioles win the division and they jump us we would play the Royals in a three gamer is that yeah I'm fine with that I like that okay I I think think that it's a tough series because they can they can out aete the Yankees they can be crazy on the base paths um and like you you saw Lugo just dominate him so that they they have some scouting that is has worked but their Bullpen doesn't scare the Yankees and that's awesome to know going into postseason yeah that would be I guess in a three game set anything outside of that you feel like five or seven and you're going to get to the bullpen at some point three game set that gets a little more frog rid in a unicycle I have um I had a thought that I'm forgetting right now I think it was a good one and I have a general question okay oh this was the thing Jazz made a nice play coming in and when Jazz made Jazz Chisholm's Defense in game two and it was Jazz made his plays today uh our conversations with Boon because they're clipping uh like the social team is clipping those so then people are hearing them way out of context so every time Jazz makes a great play I'm getting blown up with tweets like oh what do you think of that it's like wait I think he's really good so if anyone doesn't know our full thoughts and thinks we've knocking Jazz Oswaldo and birdie are better Defenders than glaber I want those guys on the field and if they're on the field they are better at third and jazz is better than them at second right so he's played second lot of third Jazz has a better history playing second base and Oswaldo and and birdie have a better history playing third base and I want glaber off the field as defensive replacement but I keep seeing people get it completely misconstrued that we're like dog and Jazz like no I twisted I want the best fielders there no I I was actually I was gonna comment or I was going to compliment our YouTube comments cuz there was a junk of them uh that got a lot of Engagement there they were like kind of wild that Boon won't acknowledge that like jazz is just new to Third Base like that's not a crazy concept like that's that's a very open thing yeah they're just they're he [ __ ] dude he [ __ ] brainwashed me or gas lit me in that combo I had to pull up the play like as soon as the episode ended I was like wait he has struggled on balls coming in P it was four of them is four out of five now we made another nice one this series so it's two out of six now that he's completed but four out of five he hasn't uh like I think it's one it's like what uh so but again I don't want Jazz off the field that's the other thing SW him over there it's never been a statement on jazz jazz as the late inning third baseman is kind of the only thing that they have full Yankee blinders up on right now like they've kind of acknowledged where Verdugo and Martian are at Austin Wells is getting his proper moments Kay Holmes was supposed to come in down today and then they kind of didn't adjust as they went up so it's like of all the things that we've commented on the Yankees having blinders on like that's the only one that it's just like guys this is it's okay you're not insulting Jazz Chisum by saying you're you've only played this for a month but the other thing is I do think Jazz may have a better opportunity at high level plays than birdie and as Waldo over there uh I think so yeah so I there's there's a part of me so I do get it like I not I'm not even that hot on that issue yes glamber needs to come off the field uh in late innings did he bot another one today or this series or yesterday um I think you and I had a little like glaber's bad to the left glaber's bad to the right I think today he had like a poor effort on a ball to the left I think yesterday he had a poor effort on a ball to the right that it's just like yeah I think we just I think we have and duar Gary Sanchez trying to block in a position that he doesn't know how to block that like we're GNA see a new second basement and be like oh my god dude it's crazy CU in 2018 I remember making a Montage of glaber going to his left CU he would R track it down he would slide and grab the ball at his hip spin come up throw to first like he was it was like his signature play in 2018 I wonder if I can find that I definitely tweeted it out now going to his left he can't cominging team makes it different like like this is the Orioles it feels way bigger if it's the Astros it feels big if it's but because the Royals are kind of they're F they're just jumping to bit good this year not and last year they weren't it still doesn't have that like history juice or even recent history juice I'm say and Royals fans I'm saying it as a compliment like the fact that the like regular season postseason spring training is above that um and and yeah I'm uh dude those you game one like those at bats in the seventh inning there was a little more like yes ni I have dude I top six memorable home run of this season so far um in contention that uh and it's kind of funny on this series like again the Yanks have the offense hasn't been clicking the past week or so um Austin Wells had five RBI uh second highest on the team was uh stto and doogie tied with two um and yeah it's just a reminder like Austin Wells has been incredible I said dude I'm I'm pretty mad at myself I'm going the opposite of your weaver love um dude like a week or two ago when I started I don't okay I didn't start bringing it up um but like the Austin Wells Rookie of the Year stuff like started to percolate and dude he was like plus 700 or something on DraftKings and then the other day I think after that home run he passed cower he's now the AL favorite for rookie of the year which blows my mind that heel is still not more involved but um I'm happy for Austin Wells I'm he has the read someone posted on Reddit that heels month of June is the best month by any pitcher I mean I it's one of those things that I think we're going to end up looking back at and be like how ridiculous is the timeline of baseball because if you like flip-flopped heel season would he be like The Runaway rookie of the year right now yes that's what Jack Curry said and why he thought Wells actually has a really good chance to win it even with the you know that maybe he said that before the odds flipping he said and he's a voter I believe and he said Jack Curry said voters like when the Rookie of the Year run through the finish line and I liked one that phrase right and I wish I could remember it and use it more over no use it more twice over see I'm getting all my new phrases jumbled uh Hey speaking of Wells him and volpy did a handshake oh after the one pitch to Jazz just in the Dugout by themselves like it and I was like what are they C what are they celebrating I don't know I sent it to be it's really bad because I'm filming my TV which was jumbled because it was a Prime game but I don't know if you can see this they're just at the railing like doing an elaborate dap up like they climb the ladder and then they shake like bu I was like what such an odd time okay yeah like a double Spartan yeah so he's got my mom bullying me yeah it's a tough thing for me you know me and your mother are aligned we kind of did that I gave my last mfer um and that that wrigly bomb getting taken away does hurt um I Heard You' been eating pets what was that Jim you were talking about you and my mom I lashed out I I was going to say I've never eaten anyone's pets I well that's potential future pets I ate this was a Relay for Life I always get kind of nervous telling the story because I think someone's going to like snap back and be like whoa what um we did Relay for Life I think it was 8th grade or freshman year of high school and there was an event and it was was like Hey you could get you know Relay For Life you could get an extra lap if you come over and do the Goldfish races so we like went over did the Goldfish races and some person was running it and we were like Hey will we get an extra lap if we eat a goldfish and they were like yeah I atat like five goldfish I had a buddy eat like 11 you swallow him hole or you chew hole I can't believe that happened man what do you think happened then you think like you pooed him out hle I don't know like that's the thing are probably mushy I was so young that like you don't follow up on that yeah no you don't have a sense of like you're just like oh okay oh okay we ate the Goldfish we got three extra laps what should we do now yeah why' they say yes I mean what are you going to do if some kids come up and be like hey I'll eat these goldfish they're not your kids some point you only parent your kids not your kids and if you've got goldfish to spare let's see what you got probably ended their time at the table faster right oh we're out of goldfish yeah is it rud the chat said that the the chat just said cancel young J killing Goldies but we don't know if you killed them like you could have passed them and they swam on I've seen steo do some nasty stuff with Sav them and they stayed alive yeah I saved goldfish that day be awesome if if you did have a bow movement you did check it out and it turned into one goldfish and you realized you were a magician that would be cool imagine if that happened twice over oh good job um is it rude to give my mfer to Clay um do it for the conversation cuz I don't want to waste an award on it but we should talk about it yeah I don't know like even even when you mentioned Tommy Jake and Luke um there's got to be something there for you I'm Jake your brother's Luke prom date was a Tommy I don't know um but like cancel the show the fact that clay I just I just thought about walking out on the show and lay Holmes isn't bad at baseball no but he needs a good defense true glaber can't get balls to his left and that one by shorts St that was a hot shot right like right but it's um but glaber a good second baseman gets the glaber one right yes that one was like the jarring one he's just not a good combo for the defense and and also though like I don't put it on clay in my opinion when you get removed from that roll you go and you become the we're down by one or two runs let's get some working or we're up by four or five runs use it to get right and those should be like your next three outings so they gave him one of those down one and I thought it was a good Lane for him like you don't become the seventh inning High leverage Guy where you can still get a blown save on your record now like I had to go check the the um Bullpen budget I hate that I just said that um come on to be like wait is someone not available they were all available turns out Jake they needed all of them because it went extras turns out and went extras because they used clay besides the other guys um so but yeah that just is a is a dumb formula I think I have something when was when was Clay at his best never this year like as a closer just like you're picturing the best version of clay Holmes what do you picture probably 2022 when he like took over was like King was helping some days wandy was around but I feel like he was good then I picture the Sinker looking like a video game oh yeah Deep dive like a reverse we Haven seen that in a little bit and I think that's because they put so much emphasis on the slider like I think let's get clay back to 7030 um and like let's get the turbo Sinker back I think he lost that so that's why they're going the other way right but I think part of the reason he lost that is cuz tried to do the slider so like because he he didn't have it before the slider when we're talking about getting clay back and pitching up four down four whatever like let's hunt for that turbo Sinker because I think that unlocks the slider yeah I mean the one slider is not good on its own the sweeper but I think they went to the slider because he he lost the movement on the Sinker ear well I think they were doing it to try to get less contact yes but the the slider that doesn't have the vertical drop is the one that gets contact and that's the one he had this year I'm goingon to look at the numbers on the um vertical break for his [Music] Sinker by like 2022 was his best when he first came over that was like demon mode right I mean even even last year like it you know there was times when clay would throw a sinker and like we would audibly react and like there hasn't been one of those in a long time yeah okay the end of last year he got it back the beginning of last year it was at 25 inches of break but then in the last month it was 28 and this year oh my goodness so oh my goodness it was - 255 in April then - 26 it just dropped back down I don't know how much because it's averaging for the whole month so I feel like you got to go by game when you look at this [ __ ] um yeah it's been it's been like - 255 this whole time there's some games where it's definitely more I think he wants to be in the negative 28 in with it that's the one that we recognize like let's go let's go Sinker mode rip it until you find a good one yeah I figured out okay so 20 the end of last year was the nastiest it's been and this year at the beginning he had some games where it was nasty April 9th was he good that game beeps yes you have that you have that pulled up I mean he started clean to start the year right yeah well yeah but the first four games he was it was very lucky defensively April 29th and May 19th are his best as far as like the Sinker was diving 9th or 29th it was April 29th and May 9th I believe it's two best May 19th April 9th April 9th 0.2 one hit one strike out got the save seven pitches May 19th 0.2 so maybe he just doesn't he didn't throw enough pitches to four pitches so he just doesn't throw enough to level it out waste of time I wasted all our time um I'm fine rolling without clay it's kind of my question of Boon last week like I don't we don't need to force him so I thought using him in that spot was kind of like wait what yeah I mean I think they they went Yankee mode stto hits the Homer okay we'll just roll clay anyways um I don't know probably what it was he's up we're I I think I'd like one more Bullpen option whether that's clay or lighter or Tim Hill like it you know if we're if we're hoping to go to seven game series we're going to need more bodies we believe in uh they're going to throw starters back there so maybe not yeah but it well you're going two starters so you got five there and then length right but depending with starters we don't know if they're like effective Bullpen guys like maybe it's Clark and Nester and those five can get you through but that's my guess as of now I don't know it it would be nice if we could roll in and say like wow Clay's last six lighter's last six some Hamilton's last six you know yeah how many innings yeah so in the ALDS which went five games I know Wy put on a hero's effort but they only used three relievers in that series I mean Clark got 1 Point one but I think it was slop time and L trino got one inning otherwise it was just w d Lisa clay right when you go deeper like if they have a World Series when you need more but five game set I don't think they're gonna need more right away than what they have Wy pitch is that the series wandy pitched in all five yeah that's why I said Wy went gross mode there he was saving too over clay I think crazy that's what I just saw like that clay wasn't even saving in the postseason or they were losing so they used him Clark Schmidt blown save why didn't clay pitch in why didn't clay pitch in that game oh dude because he was coming [ __ ] the Yankees let's keep it moving geez C up in that one um Regular Awards um I think I've given out this award before is it the Mountain Dew award no no no that's very special you give that one out okay it's bold it's got a citrus kick it'll get you off your ass like you feel like you're on an actual Mountain a mountain where the weather is perfect your friends are ready to hang Mountain Dew uh sure there's like that gamer side and we've been consuming a lot of Mountain Dew at JM gaming but it's also active go for a hike play some disc golf we it's at it's a big Presence at our warehouse which we got a big week coming up over there the mountain is calling you should answer grab your friends grab an Ice Cold Mountain Dew wherever refreshing beverages are sold and do the do do the do uh I'm gonna go with uh uh candy ass Juan Soto HUGE Homer award candy ass you've given this out before I think I have in some way definitely referenced it it's a quote from a movie I'm going to go with Juan SoDo yes her Brooks Rob mclanahan bruise on the leg is a hell of way from the heart candy ass you want me to play I want you to be a hockey [Music] player that ought to get him going yeah clean up that's a that's a three-man play what I just did three different actors every line uh wotto is um um changing the fabric of the team because if that happened last year to any player they just take him out of the game right also if any player you know whatever I'll stay here yeah they just take him out of the game like nah you know what why not Gaber came out earlier this year and they didn't even check on him remember that sure do played the next day but got so banged up they didn't even check on him what the [ __ ] was that anyway um and then Juan SoDo bruises his foot hell of away from the heart uh one of the worst pitch calls I've ever seen in my opinion again I'm not an expert uh two two pitch throws a fast ball and he just literally throws his bat down like a shield because he was sitting off speed not fast ball and Jess's like oh [ __ ] and blocks it to stay alive and they go oh okay well the guy that's only got one foot is sitting off speed doesn't want to like dig in and swing that thing and then they throw him a cookie curveball I couldn't believe it I was like what he just got hurt blow him away with a fast ball and then they did and sort of spoiled it and I was like yeah do that again and then they went lollipop curve and Soto smashed it dude like big Homer and the game was dead at that point it was like oh [ __ ] we're As Dead As we were yesterday and then all of a sudden they were alive I you know I think in some ways you are an expert Jim um but I think that left that left baseball once stto stayed in the other team was screwed it was that first pitch if they got him at that pitch stto would have been willing to be like okay you got me but he did his stto check swing that some third base umpires call and some don't just cuz they see the bat move so much um and that's an example of like oo interesting cuz he got a piece of the baseball um but yeah wota once he stayed in i ball kind of couldn't stay in the park fastball curveball screw ball splitter ephus Ruben gyro Fork pretty cool screw change the game it was very cool was a nice moment probably top 50 moments uh for me on the season yes and then what yes and I have a quick gripe I like the moment so much I wanted to rewind and watch it again and I have the Roku upstairs oh boy which I don't love because they're slow after time and I went to rewind on the combo of the Roku and Prime and I had to apologize to my wife Caitlyn for my language when I realized that is a function that they say they have but can't be executed it just took me to the same spot no matter how many times I rewound how many times I had the 10 seconds back it just took me to the same spot which was the strike check swing and then I tried to bloop It Forward like bloop bloop to get to the Home Run and it would go to the end of the inning and then I would go back and would go to the check swing and I was like so mad dude I just wanted to go watch the home run again rewind and fast forward have to be functions that you can execute and we'll move on your reward good award Jim yep good award thank you it was a good award I will say that it was a good award it ended up in a different area the grip the gripe that was just the gripe portion it's just a pure gripe at a certain point um it's bad when cord day is a prime day that's bad dude there's been so many and dude I have to watch on my phone and talking to Graham Lloyd award Tim Hill yes dude um look at us two for two cookie for a cookie um dude I I get it Jake cousins has one of the best pitches we've seen in our bullpen in a while uh The Weave dog it just comes at righties lefties either way Tommy Canley yeah absolutely that change up be changing recently um Tim Hill has been great with the Yankees um just getting Lefty outs getting weak contact but to the right places um and I don't know like I I guess as I'm starting a Daydream of Yankees games and stuff like that like if Tim Hill came in for a lefty Lane and if the wild card was tomorrow and it's the fifth inning and he comes in for two lefties I'm like yeah I'm in with Tim Hill you know like I'm more in with Tim Hill than I am with Clay right now bong bong duh that's obvious I I um I've stopped watching him pitch I like take in everything else about him and like the balls get put in play maybe he's too funky delivery that like I can't like right not like in the pitch mix or anything like does he even have anything is just throw that pitch it's just a throw that pitch situation I like that he's been great man um it's good energy remember when he got the postgame interview and everyone was like Tim Hill I do remember that he's got a good story too I haven't read it Mrs tonin but him and cousins doesn't do what tonan did for him I almost hit boony with uh man how much are you guys missing tonin but I he would have been it would have been too flustered for him I have a question that I didn't ask you how come Boon didn't react at all to your alien back I think he was really worried it was a trap for a minute and then he did like a three count and he's just like no yeah yeah that was definitely uh I think he thought it was a setup for like a punchline can you can played in two games one hit um hey be an athlete and we'll be good he there was a ball a curve ball that he hit high but not far that I was like I think he's gonna get that next time like two outs yeah judge did it the day before he was like I want to do that Force the action be an athlete uh Dominguez and birdie scored runs this series as Waldo should play and the there's an Earnest honest question oh yeah find as Waldo weigh into games like you did today that's all I'm saying like right he doesn't need to start every game but like hey it should be like hey is there a way we get him in my heart of hearts if the Yankees can handle the break of not playing it feels like such an excuse that they would lean on right uh last year every division winner lost and all the Wild Card teams that got to get healthy right moved on so it's also like we still don't even know what's best and yeah I am watching the Orioles games and I'm cheering when they lose because like I want to win the division but I thought I'd be much more like like I guess my question is more so like do we need to like when it was the one game wild card it was like yo right win the [ __ ] Division I I see the conversation I I want to win the division um I also do want to win the division it's just a a three- game set man like and Anything could happen like I I guess I just go to the like dude the last game in Chicago Gaber made an error in the first inning we lost a game 2-1 like I that's where it's just like I get it and like the Yanks hey for a three- game series like it'd be home they have their three top of the rotation pretty good but like there's just no need because the other thing Jim and maybe this will spark it for you is the Yankees should be up five and a half games in this Division if they just decided to make one move that we suggested months ago a little earlier so yeah yeah I want the division okay I wonder if I get more jazzed up about it and just like remind the Orioles that we're the Yankees I more want it to win the division than to gain the playoff advantages that's definitely true right now in my head and I thought it would be the opposite yeah I dude like in my head right now in my honest heart of hearts I think the team can win a three- game series and if they do that they'll win the five-game set right if they're in the five game set and then they have to face the Orioles who just won a three- game series I think the Orioles have the leg up on them mentally I mean I kind of get it got win rolling what if you lose the three game set well then you stink and you didn't deserve to win the division anyway then win the division prove you don't stink but then also I just don't think this team has like a World Series running it right now anyway so like that's also like need a couple more things to click need to stop having two to three bad baseball moments a game and like there's a couple other variables like imagine if dude if Dominguez is actually like a stud yeah that no no there's more there's more that can happen to change yeah yeah Jazz hasn't even been hot for a little bit now like get him going Jaz was gonna come down a little bit Bine gold said if you were in a three- game set easier to run in a couple lefties who dominate you but that only team that has that is Astros and most likely are not going to face them in a three- game set we' have to really collapse I mean Royals it would be you'd get Lugo and Reagan they crushed Lugo in the one game yeah I want to win the division more so to win the division I I it goes across all the basball not just Yankees baseball I'm undecided yes I think the I think the whole baseball world is is that Gap actually helpful right grand scheme of things of formats still very new and and they got to increase the sample and figure it out yeah and it stinks so they should just change it before that happens but we'll figure that out later there's an idea right go Yanks tell them Grahams go
