Rams vs Steelers WEEK 7 PS5 MADDEN 24 updated roster season 24/25

season week is on EA Sports this taken in right around the goal line escaping a tackler at the 25 and a nice return sets him up pretty good here right at the 30 yd line so out come the Steelers now for their first drive they'll be L out by a man who nearly broke the single season rushing record for quarterbacks last season a true dual threat out of Ohio State Justin fields and coming off of an early season open week and in this situation what he told us when we sat down with him was he spent a lot of time working on fundamentals kind of getting back to basics during that time as opposed to having to worry about healing up or resting up it was too early in the season get back to the basics get his game going again 13 yds on the game's opening play fields on first down throwing quickly there but it's incomplete you talk about Rams defense they find themselves just a couple of spots outside of the top 10 defending the pass number 12 in the league so I'm prepping for this game I kept asking myself the question what's keeping this group from being top 10 in the league against the past and too many mistakes especially little mistakes and those add up into big mistakes big mistakes add up into points against [Applause] you and they'll Run for the first first time with Naji Harris and he'll fight forward on the Straight Ahead running for just a couple of yards second down from the 43 here's a second and [Applause] eight a shotgun snap fields and he gets it inside the 35 and just shy of the 30 fields we know he has the good Mobility he flashes it there as he scrambles for the first down they'll set up a throw a short one there to FB and the result here a pick up of eight leaves him with two to go on second down two yds to go second down here's Fields over the middle he's got Watkins it'll be a pick up of four good enough to earn him yet another first down but what whatever script they put together for this offensive Drive Charles seems to be working curious to see if this defense will make any adjustments here things certainly going according to plan aren't they I mean the way they're advancing the football it's like they're on the practice field having one of their better days but instead it's game day and they're moving the ball down field with purpose now a second and [Applause] 10 Fields now to throw down he goes at the 10 with a solid pick up of eight that's an early scramble that can be viewed positively by either side from the offensive point of view it begins to establish it as a possibility to keep it on certain plays and defensively they avoided giving up a huge play and one of their first tests in containing a quarterback on the run and the Steelers are going to have a first and goal coming up as they find a way to convert there on third and one well no question this is exactly how they wanted to start this football game and nice pass there and now they're set up beautifully Charles to finish this off with a touchdown yeah but they still got to finish it off partner and that means they've got to execute at this stage of the field so we've seen many teams got his man it's caught for a Steelers touchdown Pat Fri MTH his second touchdown on the season and the Steelers are on the board first on the road here in play the touchdown giving him the first quarter lead remember they lost a rough game two weeks ago then they had to sit through the open week but a good start here and just think about everyone around them everyone around the organization when you lose headed into that open week everyone's cringing because you don't have a chance to get on the horse and Rite it again for at least two weeks well they were able to take that time use it constructively and now they're back in form Boswell good with the extra point and that makes the score seven nothing Boswell now to kick it away after the touchdown from a yard or two deep here comes a return and ultimately cannot get this out to the 25 yd line as he's dropped at the 23 so here the Rams set to go to work on offense and they're led by a man who topped the 50,000 yd Mark in passing for his career a season ago in year 15 now here's Matthew Stafford I think his task in this game is it's really simple eliminate the turnovers he threw two interceptions last week I can't believe I led with that because he had three touchdown passes so there's a lot of good that he did but he's got to take care of the ball better the ball has to go to guys wearing the jerseys that they're wearing this week not the opposition a loss of a yard there to start out that leads to a second and 11 they'll stay on the ground with William and he'll go down right at the 30 yd line eight yds there on the carry and now they're left with a much more manageable third and three they'll try and run for it here's Williams and they'll get it up just short of the 45 at the 44 first down Los Angeles there with a pick up of 14 yds plenty of things to talk about here partner but to me their defense gave up a touch down on the first drive how about how they're responding coming back that's a big third down pickup to keep their Drive Alive Now a first down throw Stafford he'll get this complete to Cooper cup and he will go out right near the 35 yd line a nice gain of 21 yds so after several rushes to start the game Charles they go to the air there and get a nice completion nice mix up on the play calling right establish the running game make the defense think you're going to do it again and then hit them over the top now youve got them between Twix in between they don't know which way you're going to come at them second and a [Applause] couple back to throw Stafford and he's got his big TI end over the middle complete 25 yds that time so they gave up the early touchdown this has been a pretty good response nice drive taking it down first and goal and I know all the cliches jump in right don't get away from your game plan too early make sure you're settled down don't panic but it's all true isn't it because otherwise you get out of what you plan to do during the game and it's still early don't get crazy because you gave one up just respond as you just noted Williams will score touchdown LA and that caps off what was really a b opening drive for them Charles they work in the rushing game and the aerial attack and they end it with a touchdown strong in so many ways wasn't it partner their ability to throw it and run it and accomplish their goal they've got to like the way that they started this ball game extra point attempt to follow [Music] here it's up and good so these teams match touch Downs here in the first quarter and we're tied [Applause] 77 each team's had it each team has scored 7 seven here as the kicks away this taken in at the goal line and he'll get it up past the 20 to about the 22 so Pittsburgh retakes the field for their second offensive possession coming off every player's friend the open week from last weekend Oh there's no doubt about that even if you're coming off of a loss as they did the open week is exactly what you need after you kind of get over it a little bit right rest up the Mind rest up the body get yourself ready to go and they have to be eager to play again especially since they lost the last time out Harris going to get it again on second down and he's going to get this one across the 30 yd line a gain of 10 good for a Steeler first down they went counter there offensively and a couple of Defenders were on skates for a second they certainly were and you know what offensive linemen love about the counters and the misdirections sometimes you don't have to block the defender he can run himself out of the play if he doesn't read his keys properly and getting this just shy of Midfield they'll spot it at the 49 it'll be a gain of 16 for number 16 someone sharp in this game I madean a touchdown pass on the first drive and comes right back and he's flinging it around really well here really nice throw there to pick up the first down you kind of just feel a laser focus and confidence about him and I think we saw that this week didn't we talking to him and the coaches they felt good about his performance coming up he I was really impressed with that last practice we saw when they went through two-minute drill when they went through all the different situations ball hardly hit the ground and I thought yeah he might be locked in for this one so from Rams territory now it's first and 10 at the 37 yd line and Fields going to have the first down before sliding to a halt to avoid the contact these two teams all tied after one Steeler football here to begin quarter number two as they've got it with a first and 10 back to throw fields touchdown a great play there with his first career NFL touchdown and the Steelers have taken the lead so that's the rookie first trip to the end zone and I think it's safe to say one he'll always remember oh without a doubt that one is going to be imprinted forever and nowadays we're seeing rookies make a greater impact at that position at receiver than ever before I think mainly because of the sheer volume of FO balls that they catch in college Boswell for the extra point and he's got it it's now a 14-7 ball game a drive that time of six plays and it ends with a Pittsburgh touchdown taken at about the one and taken down just past the 20 at about the 21 yd line so the Rams coming back onto the field their second Drive of the game and they are back down to 500 following the loss last week consistency has been a real issue for them so far Brandon you almost don't know what team is going to show up every week I mean there's no consistency with this ball Club at all and if we feel that way I know it frustrates the coaching staff and it also has to frustrate the key leaders in the locker room they got to figure out how to get coordinated on second down Williams takes this to the 27 give him four yards when you find that kind of yardage you couldn't be more confident as a ball carrier and guess what you're going to go back and tell your offensive coordinator I'd like to keep carrying it thank you now throwing on third down there but he cannot connect partner we've got ourselves a ball game and those guys on defense they came to play slipped up on their first series they're definitely settling in now and letting it be known that points won't come so easy again and he punted three times in the loss last week as he sends this one away that'll go as a 46- yd punt with a return of seven and the Steelers will go on offense here first and 10 and Pittsburgh getting set to take the field and they dipped a game below 500 following the loss last week and you get the sense that maybe this team's at a little bit of a Crossroads here yeah I think that's a really good way to put it because what's that old Malo prop if you come to a fork in the road take it because this crew they're losing ground fast they've got to start winning some ball games and the good teams they're starting to separate themselves and these guys are being left behind second and 10 to throw as [Applause] Fields a short one there to fbe and they bring him to the ground just shy of Midfield the catch and run there good for 16 and a first and this was a nice example of an offensive coordinator scheming his guy open just a little underneath route just trying to free up some space and it worked awfully well got him not just space but plenty of room to run after the catch to pick up really nice yardage playaction it's [Applause] fields and he'll go down but not before getting this inside the 30 23 yds on the tuck and run well that's turned out better than most of the passes he could have thrown on that snap the coverage downfield was excellent but the containment close to home left him a back door escape and they paid dearly for not locking up now he dumps this off over the middle and he'll be brought down at the 21 just shy of the 20 in the Red Zone from the 21 here's second and three a play fake now fields to throw and it's caught on the deflection and this is going to be a touchdown well just a sensational start for this offense Charles three drives three passing touchdowns is that like mentioning a perfect game in baseball are we cool to do it here in football partner no I think you can do it here in football I think perfect game in baseball that that's its own category yeah I think you're right about that could not imagine a worse start for that secondary or let's face it a better went for this offense no chance they sto passing now the way that it's going I think they can continue to press the ball down field and hopefully reap the same results extra point put through by Boswell and it's now 21-7 Boswell now to kick it away after the touchdown and this will not be returned it'll come out to the 25 La Ready's for its next possession and Charles a very uninspired effort the last time we saw them out there it was a quick three and out and they punted the football yeah and you never want to get stopped so soundly during a series but what would be even worse now is letting it happen again right here they've got to get going short throw it's higgy and this will leave him a yard short nice pick up of nine yds on first down maybe a good spot to take a shot here's second and a yard from the 34 [Applause] up the middle it's Williams pushes past it and he'll get up to the 43 yd line that one a first down pick up of eight and the Rams at 500 three and three through the season's first six weeks Charles they were losers last time out what do you think they need to do differently here well I don't think it needs to be as drastic as burning up last week's game tape or not watching it but the attitude has to be what's done is done let's move on put that one behind them Galvanize themselves and go forward and get a win in this one just throw on second down is Stafford firing quickly but it's incomplete let's face it if you want to get back into the game these are the kind of throws you got to hit he's wide open right there got to be able to get it to him don't you think and those are the throws that haven't been available to them every time he's dropped the pass yeah that's a big Miss and he'll go down inside the 45 before going out of bounds third catch of this first half for him and this one is a first down I don't care how many times we say it I still get a kick out of watching quarterbacks and receivers do the pass TR in pregame warmup but I always remember that when we go to practices we see that after practices as well they really tune it up don't they they tune it up they know why they do it for these situations first down and they build that trust and that's why they're able to find him in this type of a situation now left side on the swing pass and he is out of bounds inside the 35 the Rams they are on the move they've got another first down Stafford now a diving effort right sideline he's got it another nice gain 13 yds that time and another first down first throwing again again as Stafford he'll get that complete to Parkinson and he'll go out of bounds in the Red Zone just inside the 20 they'll come up second and seven now it's Stafford and that is incomplete certainly appeared to take away his first read and by the time he tried to look elsewhere and find an open Target the coverage was too good that one fall incomplete throwing on third down Stafford under pressure and he'll go down sacked back at the 31 Cameron Hayward able to record his fifth sack of the season so this defense they gave up some yards on this drive but bottom line they came up with a sack when it mattered and we know that every down counts but let's be honest about it people focus on third down as a real key down in any drive any situation they took advantage of third down there and made a play and this one looks good it is good right down the pipe and that will get the disadvantage now back down to 11 so as it turns out that sack doesn't wind up costing them Charles they at least get points get three of them yeah that's where your kicker can really come to your rescue because you know after the sack there was a little consternation there are we out of field goal range are we going to be able to get three in this case he stepped right up and gave him exactly what they needed and they'll get him down inside the 30 at the 27 off play action Fields he's got this to Pickins and he's going to get this down to the 35 yd line boy he ran free there after the catch as that winds up going for 30 eight and the offense is saying to itself right now if only they were all this easy because he was wide open and once he made the catch plenty of room to work his way down field that was a breakdown on the defensive side of the ball one that they want to fix immediately so that changes things a bit here's a first and 10 all the way down at the 35 Harris running Straight Ahead pretty nice aggressive run there before being brought down just inside of the 30 two minutes remaining in this first half of football second down and [Applause] four Fields now they set up the screen that's complete seven yds there and a first down the defense was ready for the back to leak out and even had a second player waiting to double him up if you're going to Adit to doubling a back you better prevent a completion but give him credit extra determination extra effort turn it into a successful play looking left side and he's got a in that's Warren this will be stopped about two yd shy of the marker 8yd gain second and two good call there on first down and Brandon I'm getting better over the years and not screaming out screen screen screen with my defensive training they want to keep those pass rushers honest and they did so there and they want and in for the Steelers touchdown quz Watkins with his second touchdown here in this first half and the Steelers will extend their lead in the final minute of the half they have really had their way so far in the first half but they wanted to continue to build on their lead they know that no lead is safe in this league so they decided to try their best to get one more as they headed into the half and they got it done extra point now by [Music] Boswell and the lead is up to 18 now five plays there on that drive and it ends with the Steelers finding the end zone Boswell now to kick it away after the touchdown from a couple yards deep he'll bring it out of the end zone and now out a little across the 25 to the 27 the Rams going to take over late in this first half and with a three-score deficit staring him in the face they might have to press the issue here and try to get points out of this Drive Stafford on first down connecting with cup here on the out route the Rams going to go ahead and use the first of their timeouts as they stop it here with just under 40 ticks to go in this first half and this one is incomplete so the failure to connect on second down that leaves them staring up here at a third and eight Stafford and that is [Music] incomplete well it's looking like another three and out here and at some point got to be able to put together a drive to keep your defense for having to go right back out on the field I feel like things are starting to unravel a little bit and we're not even at halftime his first punt 48 yds this one looks equally as good this is fielded at the 27 shrugs The Tackle nice they'll get nine yds on the return there following a punt of 42 and out will come the offense as they take over one more drive here for the Steeler offense in this first half and with time quickly fading here in the second quarter not sure how aggressively offensively they want to play this I think we'll find out just how much they trust their guys in this situation if they decide to take a shot and now a throw on first down there but it's incomplete I see the surprise in your face there partner that is a rare incompletion from him he's been on point this entire game he has percentage completion Wise Way up not that [Applause] time on second down this is Harris now the Steelers use the first of their three timeouts as they'll stop it with 13 seconds to play in half number one on third down here's Harris and he'll push this forward only to about the 42 yd line and they're going to take a timeout defensively so with fourth down coming up they go ahead and burn it and say we'll see what happens this is taken around the 12 so we' reach halftime here with the visiting Steelers out in front as we'll send you the second half upon us sooner than we bargain for week seven second half let's do it welcome back Charles and I settled into the booth ready for quarter number three and here comes a return from just beyond the goal line and only able to get this to the 19 so probably should have opted for the Touchback out come the Rams they'll have it first here to begin the third quarter and you have to think Charles down three scores already they need to play an almost perfect second half to have a solid chance and that absolutely start with finding something there he goes right side and he'll be taken down but not before they work it across Midfield up defense so of course they declin that there they knew they had the free play they got great yardage out of it it's kind of like when we were at dinner last night you saw me reach for the checks so you ordered dessert on top of it right you say they had the free play right already have what you needed go ahead and get a little more on top I like it on the counter it's Evans no gain on the play it'll be second down looked like he was trying to bounce it outside but no success yeah sometimes you got to just figure out where you're going to go and sometimes you just have to take it to another spot and trying to get it outside the defensive Pursuit was there and just ran him down meanwhile Stafford's throw it's complete into the hands of higgy four yds the gain and it'll bring up a third down they are in need of six yards here if they hope to move the chains a shotgun snap for Stafford and the throw there going to be incomplete certainly looked like someone was very confident in his ability to fit that one in I would say it was overconfident because there wasn't a whole lot of Separation there had that one covered pretty well downfield and knocked it away and on fourth down on is the punt team sending this one away time for the Steelers offense now to get set for their first possession of half number [Music] two Harris starts the drive on the ground and he'll fight forward on the Straight Ahead running for just a couple of yards second down on playaction [Applause] fields oh this is taken in it's complete and he'll be taken down but not before they work it across Midfield that goes for a gain of 31 another big play right there and this is where as an offense you can really put the hammer down you got a double digit lead but those other guys they've been hanging around a touchdown here could put this game Out Of Reach and that's a strong step towards getting it done now a first down throw Fields throwing quickly to Wilson and he is tackled inside the 40 not quite to the 35 line of scrimmage the 37 on First and 10 they'll fake the handoff now Fields that's swung out wide to Harris call it a gain of three on the play and that will bring up second down that's a good job there by the corner we do talk about this a lot that a lot of Corners see their job as simply covering receivers tackling isn't everyone's thing but in this case he came up quickly and made a nice sure tackle still about three yds shy of a first as the four- yd pickup brings it to third down fields now to throw he's going to get that to his running back out of the back field and he will have a Steelers first down it's a gain of six that time on Third and two well they certainly had success throughout this contest getting him the ball in the passing game and there he picks up another first down whatever they saw going into this one they've been able to capitalize on it and no adjustment has been made to take it away meanwhile Fields throw complete to Fri m it'll go as a gain of four and that'll bring up second down 19 yd now it's Fields here's Fri MTH again this will be a 5yd pickup as they move it from the 20 to the 15 play number nine set to come here on the drive on Third and two trying to pick it up on the ground with Harris and he will be very close to a first down but I see the Clos Fist of the referee and that means fourth down and the big fell stuffed that one up in a big way I think doubling him has to be a priority because you can't move up to the next level if you don't take care of him first the offense here not budging they're going to fight for it on Fourth and inges they snap it to fields and it's incomplete they cannot convert and they turn it over the Steelers try it but they come up empty on fourth down and this 10-play drive winds up yielding nothing so the defense has to stay out and get one more stop they were able to do it forcing the incompletion so on their record that goes down as a successful play it doesn't matter how oh bottled up fumble it's out it's loose and it's picked up by the Steelers and a first and goal coming up here inside the 10 yd line well if these guys wanted to get back in this game they needed an almost perfect second half and down three scores a lost fumble here certainly doesn't fit into that plan that reminds me of my plan in college to get an A on the papers I turned in but that didn't work out too well either too many mistakes by both of us I mean that's just pure and simple and that's why that's exactly where they are in this ball game they're going to need a huge turnaround if they want to try and win this one the defense gets him the ball via the turnover now can this offense cash in first and goal now a quick throw there but it's going to be incomplete so an incomplete passing moment to go and that leads to second and goal out of the gun Fields caught on the slant touchdown a great effort there his second touchdown of the afternoon and the Steelers are able to strike quickly to add on to their lead so they're able to capitalize there on the short field and that might prove to be the score that turns out the lights the party's over oh sorry about that that's a old reference there folks but yeah they've been the better of the two teams by far and that's great complimentary football right there defense gets the turnover sets up the short field and the offense goes right out and scores to open up a pretty sizable lead Boswell good with the extra point and they open the lead up now to 25 well that drive started with not a whole lot of real estate in front of them in plus territory excellent field position two plays later [Applause] pder and Beyond the 20 but not by much in fact just a yard pass there to the 21 and now out on the field Here Comes Los Angeles well we haven't exactly been treated to a nailbiter in this one CD and if they cannot score here this one's pretty much all but over are you saying that you feel like people are starting to think about getting out of here maybe beating the traffic in order to get home or to their final destination yeah I don't think there's a whole lot of reason to hang around especially if they can't score here yeah you're right about that because it has been pretty clear who the better team has been in this one and in a league that we talk about every game being a one- score game as we go into it watching this blowout let's just say it's been unusual third and [Applause] three now a give up the middle to Williams and I don't think he got there no he's short by maybe a foot maybe call it fourth and inches I do know from experience that when you slow down someone's running game you're now doing the dictating on defense and guess what now you're getting ready to tee off on their quarterback cuz they have to throw it all the time but you still have to be alert for the draws and other plays of that nature to make sure you don't get hurt here comes the Rams punter now as he'll putt it away for the fourth time today pulled in at the 24 so a good punt there but a nice return of 11 yds and they will take over first and 10 Pittsburgh's offense now heading back out onto the field this drive here beginning probably with a pair of motivated groups remember the offense scored a touchdown on their last time out looking to repeat that in Charles's defense they were very frustrated after giving up six the last time on the field and frankly it's just a battle of wills in a lot of ways because you know they're both motivated they both game planned for this drive and they both have specific outcomes in mind to me it just comes down to who can execute better and which side can step up and assert its will over the other they try to throw on second down but this one is incomplete they come up now third and five following the incomplete [Music] pass back to throw [Applause] fields and he will slide to a stop he does have the first down opted to run for it the decision a good one picking up the first getting 14 yds on the scramble it certainly appears that he's been able to get a read on how they've wanted to contain him in this game he's seen some places where can beat them in big spots and right there he slides in with ease for the first down now run straight ahead with Warren and good work there in open space and he's got this all the way down now to the 32 call it a gain of 14 for the second play in a row so first and 10 and if they score on this drive might have to start digging into our second half blowout material now now Fields a quick throw there is incomplete this could be the start of a nice stand from this defense now after getting walk backwards on this drive come through with another one here and you have them staring at a third and long and that puts the defense in a position to dictate to the offense oh heck of a move man and some nice running going to get him down close to a first down at the Rams 24 and there not going to get to the line to run another play so we will switch ends as the third quarter has come to a close we'll return with more after this this is the NFL and it's on EA Sports back now in Los angelis it's Steeler football and they have the lead as well as we begin quarter number four and they just keep marching right along first down on a pick up of eight there he's been the go-to guy they needed a big play there on third down win his way at work down doesn't matter whether they've scouted it or that they think he's going to get the ball he has a knack for finding his way open and completing the connection on first down it's fields and caught in the end zone touchdown Steelers a great play there his third touchdown of the Season all coming in this game and the Steelers look like they're going to get back in the win column as they extend end their lead here in this fourth quarter well Charles they had the comfortable lead and now it's even more comfortable another score here in the fourth quarter to grow that lead part I think your initial reaction is surprised when you see a team piling it on this late in a blowout but there are plenty of coaches who also think that if you pull up completely and stop trying to play the game it shows disrespect to their opponent so they don't want to embarrass them they continue to let their players go for it this fielded right at the goal line and it's a pretty good return here as he'll get this up to the 29 the Rams offense now making their way out to take over we said it at halftime that they would need a nearly perfect second half to erase that deficit that they were facing cidd but unfortunately the second half has pretty much been a carbon copy of the first yeah that early lead was almost insurmountable the way their opponent was playing and partner they do have some good news though this one is getting close to being over and they can try and hit the reset Buton starting tomorrow3 y on second down here's Stafford going to be taken in here by nura and they get him down but not before he takes it across the 40 yd line it's a Rams first down on a pickup of 10 here's Stafford pressure comes and the Steelers take him down Larry Ogen jooby in for the sack but one thing I do know these guys on defense they don't want this game to end they're winning by multiple touchdowns they' shut down the opposing quarterback in a big way and they're still picking up sacks as we approach the end of this [Applause] one and the job becomes twice as difficult now after the sack it's second and 20 back to throw Stafford he'll get this one complete to matwell give him a gain of five on the completion and they're going to face an uphill battle here on Third and Long Tall task ahead of them here needing a full 15 yds to move the chains now on Third and long they'll look to throw right back to Atwell that's complete and he can only manage to get this to the 45 yd line well short of the first so the completion good for six yards and that's going to bring up a fourth down they snap it to Stafford and it's going to be batted down and will go the other way with a football no luck for the Rams as they fail here on fourth down and the Steelers they're going to take over an excellent field position well being just short of Midfield they decide to take a crack at it on fourth down they don't come through sometimes it's just showing confidence in your defense you know that they're good and they'll take care of you a lot of coaches during the the week will announced to their team we're going to be aggressive guys we're going to go for it hey defense you got me a little bit of a challenge to them to see if they'll pick up the rest of the team we'll see how they respond now again it's Harris on second down it's a foury pick up there and it leaves him with third and five Brandon I've got to think this offensive line has got some Smiles on its faces and and I know it sounds crazy but they practiced for this back in training camp they knew they'd be in situations where it'd be extra Defenders in the Box coming after them trying to keep them from locking down a game right now they want to show the world they're up to the challenge it's a Pittsburgh first down a gain of 13 Brandon sometimes just comes down to the power of suggestion cuz I know exactly what they said all week long we're coming off the open week we'll have the fresher legs in the fourth quarter and they will Wilt when we get to that point and right now it appears that they're thinking that exact thing offensively they had the bu last week defensively did not is that really a big factor is that more talk during in the week I think the more that you talk about it the more that you emphasize it the more sometimes it comes true for your team so not quite a first and goal it's first and 10 from the 10 here's Fields he's got his tight end fire M over the middle and in for the Steelers touchdown Pat FR m a beast in the Red Zone with his second touchdown of the game and the Steelers add six more to their point total and they're on cruise control right now here in the fourth and a decisive Advantage became even more decisive they already had the win in hand but they keep pressing the tempo and they pile on with another touchdown reception would you consider that touchdown a reward to all the tight ends on their roster for their effort today not just running their routes but all the time they spent in the trenches laying down blocks doing the little things to help that offense succeed and for doing all of that they definitely want one of their tight ends to get a touchdown to really seal this [Applause] blowout and he's able to get this across the 20 but not by much as he's marked out officially at the 21 now the Rams offense they work their way back on the field Charles we know that this offense is aggressive we saw that last Drive they went for it on fourth down didn't get it then they give up the touchdown so now you feel like they really need to respond here they certainly do but let's face it sometimes when you take that risk you understand if you fail a little more onus goes back on your ball Club to try and pick themselves back up so after the sack here's second and 14 now it's Stafford staying on his feet that'll be caught it's c a big play there for La 53 yds boy of all the guys on the field to lose track of how do you lose track of him I think even he was surprised at all the space he had you're just hoping your quarterback sees you in that spot fortunately he did and it leads to a gigantic play so how about this for a change in field position from inside the 10 here's first down on the other side of the field and he stopped right at the 25 after a gain of five if you're a coach you'll absolutely take that run every time on first down because it really set you up to go in a number of directions here on second here's a throw out wide complete to his running back right side and they take him down losing yardage back at the 27 a loss on that play and now third down gets tougher third and [Applause] six now Stafford and he'll just toss it away so he throws it away and that brings up fourth down and it appears we've got a member of the Rams shaking up on that last play the medical staff is going to come out here and take a look and we will take a short [Applause] break and this one is right through and they'll get back three but this remains a large deficit well in the grand scheme of things those three points likely not going to matter much but I guess they get a little closer a little more respectability yeah you're exactly right they've been outplayed all game long but like my mom used to tell me all the time before I went out dress up a little bit son make yourself respectable and that's what they're doing here they're just dressing up the final score and makes it across the 20 as his guys will set up shop at the 23 yd line Pittsburgh set to take over again on offense well they don't really need the points here Charles given what we're looking at on the scoreboard but they've scored on three consecutive possessions three consecutive drives and I'm sure that they would like to keep that streak going here and continuing to pour it on and things have gotten that way in the NFL haven't they partner because in the old days people would you know they get off the gas a little bit right but now people continue to accelerate but we'll see what they decide to do as they come out for this one but the way that this game has gone they've got to be awfully happy with their execution overall Harris going to get it again on second down and he'll be brought down here at the 28 it's a four- yd pickup there it leaves him with third and five they'll need five on this play to move the [Applause] sticks from the gun on third down fields that is caught and he will have a Steelers first down by about a yard as they find a way to convert there on third down and five and Brandon from our time in college football where receivers weren't running the traditional NFL route tree one thing they did did learn find open areas find soft spots and set up and catch the ball and I think we just saw that there yeah we saw that indeed picking up the first oh and they set the Man in Motion too late this is going to be a delay that flag accepted and it backs the offense up a little bit still first down now they need 15
