commands in the event of a knockdown the fighter standing we'll go to the furthest neutral corner and stay there protect yourself at all times touch [Music] clubs second out here we go first contest of the evening here on before the Bell and the second for the very talented Emanuel oaza from Germany one win one knock out a very good Barry yeah he got nice relaxed start nice fast jab doesn't over commit either that's what I he has a lot Long Reach uses that range really well just peppers with the jab forcing you to come forward then he can line you strong right hand he has very accurate very fast a nice Rhythm to his boxing 36 amateur fights he was a German Champion BS abroad some International tournaments on the iron Hoven cup like I say he's enjoyed every second of this during fight week stra down to PHS here on the front I would just warming up to the minute but would he's just cuffing up just hit with the fingers of the gloves and he is just he is just trying to know trying to test but CH here just trying to see where where the openings how he reacts to certain shots but just like see him turn the handle when he throws that little left hook yeah controlling the the space and distance yeah but I see what you're saying there Barry again there see that he's getting on the G which is the right thing to do getting on that that high G he just Taps a with a finger just turns him the front knuckle Still Still Still throw the same angle shot just turn the front knuckle over a little bit and it's so much more Dynamic you can see straight away the the amateur star in him very patient you can see the way he sort of uses the range with the lead hand really really well he's actually a footballer when he was younger I his older brother took him to the gym when he was 15 and never looked back some Top Class sp there literally all of them heired with AJ usk Wilder White chora Cab bar a walth of experience there in the gym you see that no know the experience there the com to take the Cent take the center of the Ring W behind that jab really well and just stting to know as he's warmed up into the r his punches go a little more fluently here everything smooth he doesn't load up on anything know he's all all body mechanics he turn from the waist when he thrs that that right hand yeah good variation as well Barry like you say good Arsenal with shots I like the patient approach doesn't rush anything so easy for some of these young guys to want to impress they all want to and you can end up making some silly mistakes but we're not seeing that body controlling everything bar yeah but I got to say you know and he is but got say that left the body there just again look me with the fingers if just again just turns the shoulder into the shot and uses those the front knuckle as as the weapon around those fingers then that punch is twice as Dynamic dominant round from Emanuel other [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] head stronger in the and I want you to switch the strong [Music] break down [Music] [Music] FOC winter round two we go Manel a in with Amy Bosa and I am very pleased to sa myself and barrier joined by the newly retired the legend the gorilla Mr John Ryder John how are you mate I'm good I'm good thanks for having me here oh pleasure absolute pleasure W it's been a worldwin for you John hey it's been a crazy couple of weeks and a a crazy 13 and a half years well it's been an absolute pleasure watching or we'll chat about your career in a bit John but let's get back to this one Manuel o but but he he's found his range though hasn't he so this is where he needs to just have just inflicting a little bit more pain though he step on that jab a little bit more just get more weight than his shots he's got the range perfectly here he's got the man where he wants him he has he's touched the target a few times to see see any reactions and there aren't many to be fair so now I feel like we can just start to increase the the pace a little bit like that yeah and he's starting to plant his feet a little bit more put a bit more Venom in the shots the feet are good actually cuz cuz he's relatively LED on his feet just see a little bit there he threw a couple of shots so there go he bounces back just to have a little look before he engages again John I think you I've heard you're going to put your hand to coaching watching aazza here anything you'd like to see him do a bit more on no so far I think he's a bit of a dream to watch he's he's relaxed he's mixing up the power he's touching he's creating openings the footw works lovely he's not for nothing he's just he's mixing up the variations of power and I think it's it's nice to watch yeah I think he so important I think for these days you can't just be a big heavyweight now you've got to you got to show all sorts you got to be nimble on your feet bar we talk about footwork all the time and we're seeing that like John says with aazza yeah you he hasn't to show much of it but you can see every again he has a little bit of boun to his step a fight like this he's just got know Ste dominate the space and Bully him back into the co which he's doing but what he's do what he's not doing which is good he's not smothering his work he's not getting too close when he when he does load up with that right hand a little bit he's not he's using he's turning from the waist right and step into the shot too much and get too close to to allow the opponent to hold or fire back yeaha not offering anything here like I say watching his fights in the past he does tend to try and survive move and frustrate his opponents and you're seeing that to a degree here aazza just smothering his work a little bit here if you're going to lean on the chest of your opponent the feat better off I I think in any other weight division I think he is doing the wrong thing but in the heavyweight division when you're much bigger than the guy you lean that weight when you lean on the opponent that's a tiring Pro the ri Bob Williams no he's not giving a count it was I think okay to what you just said there Barry just leaning on beteta again another dominant round from modza putting his foot in the gas here getting to work looking good another good round from the German [Applause] looking nice and relaxed jumbo in the corner familiar face at the shows in this part of the world taking on I always like to see this bar John is a young fighter looking at the coaches and taking in all the instructions yeah in this stage it's important to know you to cuz you whatever you're doing in the gym has to be replicated in the ring so you listen to what they say they doing the right thing you just do this do that you have to remember what you're doing in the gym just go this is what we did do it again yeah just a second absorb it all what they're saying and sometimes it's a matter of millimeters so just observe what's being said here and uh make the necessary changes went round three we go brilliant start from Manuel aaza seen a bit of everything good ring IQ boxing nicely quick hands good variety with the shots nice little faint there trying to get Bretta to lead but he doesn't take the bait I've been impressed so far like I say he's part of AJ's 258 management team and so he's got a really good relationship with AJ there is a mentor Barry sorry that was good there just little thing before he threw the jab against did again there that was a nice chopp in right hand there he was lucky there BTO fell short with the shot and got caught with the counter right hand step back step back back just starting to slowly up the tempo J yeah about to see him really step on it this round I think he's um he's got the beat of him this round he just needs to force the pace a bit and put the together more and because he doesn't he doesn't get too close to the Target he punches long keeps it long when he throws the shot you can let his punches go he doesn't have to be too clever three or four straight shots right on the line got to back him up you know you got good footwork and means he can steal the space cleverly without getting too close he Mak some last minute adjustments like really really well went throw the hook there and just stopped it and just went with a jab it's just good maturity what a great time as well to to be a young heavyweight you know some of the older guard are coming to the end of their careers the divisions going to want to start looking for new stars and when you got the talent that He has got to be very exciting yeah well course great time CU they still got a couple of years left Haven it and he's got a few more years to develop of course it's still who knows where he's going to end up that's the that's the exciting part of any he got ter professional you don't know where you're going to end up look at John you the Mex the Box Canelo you never saw that when you turned Pro would you no not about where you start about where you end up yeah tell you what you wouldn't mind being a pound note behind R would you or Darren that's for sure back to this one now again oaza in front of beta sitting in the pocket now letting the shots go credit to beteta he's not moving as much as I say that he steps back but the hands are high he's trying to throw the off shot back I think that may suit oaz May create further openings but I've been very impressed with just double jab right hand that's all St the first jab really has which stops him in his track then the second just gives you a bit of Rhythm for that right hand on the middle yeah doing the right pill up see him drop these body shots immediately after the head shots yeah I think a bit longer with with a head shot bit more around the guard and then drop it to the body another very good round for the German Emanuel [Music] [Applause] oaza [Music] [Music] you want to wet him now dry him then we V him yeah okay otherwise we get wet V in his [Music] eyes [Music] [Music] another dominant round like I say from Emmanuel oaz looking very good here at the in the go at the O2 promises to be a cracking night of boxing topped here by reys B ree Botti and Liam Dylan the British Comm titles back to this one round four of a sixth rounder as we've seen him throughout his contest on the front foot piercing jab looking for the right hand over the top abely there's no effort in it either he doesn't put lot of weight but but it's a jarring shot isn't he sure he gets the shoulder into he's only been stopped twice for set one of those stoppages come from like I say at the top of this contest Moses a to but wow I mean what a talent he is and Mos thr from so many different angles yeah to stop a go like this I think it's got to be volume of shots yeah like you said John just go through the gears up the tempo put your foot in the gas yeah I think it' be more an accumulation of shots whereas you not going to get him out there with a single yeah unbeaten 1 to0 Tommy Welch out pointed him Scotland Scott Forest also beat him on points so he is a tough man you can see why in there now throwing an AR in overand right just a reminder to aazza got to get complacence they switched on it does certainly in this division only take a split second and completely deral your career but again didn't do L he just moved back half an inch pretty much and that just just stopped all the momentum there and after the step back it was that little creep to the right there a tiny little step to the right and that got him back in the center of the Ring think he's very Tex with a lot of stuff he does and real natural ability yeah like I say 36 fights as an amateur good pedigree and you're seeing that in there s stand here trying something new variation with that sou knee Jabs stabbing it into the body he's not taking the bait though the seta good workout so far he's having it all his own way but I think he's going to under understand as he goes through the ranks you're not going to stop everyone you're going to have to work and look for your openings or as John says you know go through the gears start plugging away he seems pretty content tend to to win on points so he's not rushing nothing he's not forc nothing it's all coming off off the jab nicely and listen mod day boxing people are looking for The Knockouts too much yeah and he's box again he's sort of boxing within himself everything's ni good technique as you already said John think he is very textbook in what he what he does and some big right the wrs have got I the pace has increased and I can say tons and tons a top class sparring AJ W and White chora cab John I know you spared with the who's who of the middleweight super middleweight divisions how much does that help your progression as a professional that Top Class sping I think this it's inv valuable I think we've done tons around over the years um and they they just stand you in such good stad moving forward in your own career yeah that was uh that was my C that was a bit bait there just so you could mention me John and I took it yeah complete survival mode for this man here Barry yeah we know what we're going to get and but it's not about him is it it's about we can react and and give some rounds or giving some problems and know he's giv the rounds we not causing any problems and I got to think ability the fact that he's keep it long work the jab really well the nice the bases the fundamentals he's doing well and they're working for him the nice jab the one two down the line just I love you my my only real criticism would be he hits with the fingers that's all just doesn't turn his hands over in his shots and I think if he does that some of the shots is down B tonight might have been finishing punches y y I've been very impressed couple of little things to work on but an awful lot to work with like you say there there is an opportunity here to up the tempo but as you say John look pretty content just to to cruise and not take any silly R I can understand that yeah I think at this stage of his career smart smart tactics just get the rounds in get rounds under your belt you're doing great preparation with all the people he sparing with and whatnot so getting the rounds in the actual in the actual field is is good for him just trying the uppercut and again I think that shot is there for him he's a shorter man beteta he does keep them elbows tucked up well you just see there bar and he sits on that back foot a bit so that takes the way a little bit doesn't he but see there now he's getting to bit tired just stand lean over that front knee a little bit more as we see there and that's where especially with the fast feet there ODS if he can take a little step back and whip that up and cut through the middle a shot might work for him good work as he's backet onto the ropes a one two left dness with the right hand round the side this is better start to go through the gears a bit here o just switches to sour again poking out the jab looking for that left hook from the sour STS just rais in the tempo must have heard you John yeah I think we saw some some good work there um we need more of the same really I think he's he's showing everything he's got he's showing he's got a great arsenal but we just need to see him go for the gears a bit more moving to his left as he holds the center of the Ring oaza he's a fluent sort of fighter isn't he so he's not really an explosive sort of fighter so you know he wants to be like on his feet I think if you come at him he'll probably spin you around and you know pivot around the outside and thr combination Lov he's happy to sit inside some amateurs turning pro in the first few fights like to stay out of trouble don't really like to sit in the pocket but we're not seeing that happy to to plant his feet Stand Inside doesn't get flustered doesn't panic right hand more an arm shot but he felt that one B set up this is a good work again and he felt it because it was the first time he turned his hand over find him right hook as well this is good referee Bob Williams having a look just eding a bit closer he's unraveling slightly here beteta there's a smile on his face as he went back there they both Smiley though thought enj any more it's true petta he's been there he's seen it all before but he's under the cost here taking some big shots again looking for that finish blow again the referee having a look but he survives the round B set up with a wing to the Corner straight after I think he's I think he's happy he's content but there was a left hook there the last little Comin left hook just wobbled in for the first time he'd be knocked back a few times but that left hook wobbled him I think that was a one shot that really did hurt him there coming back to the to the corner there that round it be interesting to see how how he approaches this last round yeah and he doesn't load up with a shot so what I like about oaza he just put that shot there it was just very accurate let's have a look at the shot one two on the forehead barrier comes around with the left toing a little Leno they when he just hit the hand down to throw the throw the the left hand there in the South B St but you got through some shots at last and sustain the attack didn't take a step back try to keep the pressure on there's that left hook there right right the last H come the left hook just wobbled him a little bit and he tried to maintain the pace just maybe 10 seconds earlier know that might have been that might have been the finishing combination yeah well sped bar up a good left H high on the Temple of bro marching out for this Final Round the sixth round here at the in the go at the o02 it's been a very good display from The Young German Emanuel oaza managed by AJ 258 very very good boxer good right hand lovely shot right through the center of the guy there froma how quickly do you think they they'll want to push him forward you think they'll just keep on the Range he's a young man yeah I think it's a heavyweight I think we've seen him with other heavy you rushing too quick before the matured and you know and and and you get into the top there there there too many hard fights I think you you got the luxury of the H you got the longer lifespan they don't think as many punches as we do so they can they can have a longer a longer learning period and like you say I think timing could be absolutely perfect for aazza here with the other guys couple of years left in their careers the other crop coming through they be at the top end and it could all work out and pan out nicely for this young man and we seen lots of good stuff from him but also seeing stuff that he can work on and that's what you need in this career you want to go back to the and watch the fight back and go couldn't this better couldn't that better but that was good this was good and and I think we've seen that tonight if you had to grade this performance John what would you give a I think it's a very good performance I think he's his skill set he's he's shot selection his power the way he's changed out the power is great I think in time throughout his career probably bulk up a bit sit down in his shots more but I think he's a very good all round fighter yeah it'd be tough to be always sit here and whenever you commentate whenever you're watching boxing always thinking about how you beat that fighter and there's not many weaknesses few ways that he delivers the shots like you said Barry and maybe an increase in Tempo but he has done that in fairness him the last couple of rounds bu Cesar has shown toughness but yeah I have to say I've been very impressed with this young man no yeah it's been a really good but I think he been mature performance he hasn't rushed his work you know he's probably could have gone through the gears a little bit more good right hand there from him probably could have gone through the gears a little bit more but ultimately you know he hasn't burned out he has hasn't tied himself out he's controlled the pace with good quality work and these last few rounds here Johnny just trying to increase it trying to look for that that stopage for the first time yeah I think he just needs to find him hooks a bit longer as well he seems to be thr a single hook if he doubled it up he he seems to be aiming at the guard a lot if he if he double the hook up he might get through with a second yeah finishing the show in Style leing on set but working well the good variation the shot selection like I say he's been impressive you see that Fame he's switching he's enjoyed himself in there and like I say entered the ring with a big smile and no doubt he's going to be leaving with a big smile after a successful second outing as a professional here like I say in the Indigo at the O2 which promises to be banged out noisy loud packed this evening but shortly we're going to hear win number two for razza who boxed very very well there Barry no he did he box really well he came out using the jab he was a little bit like he wasn't bouncing on his feet but he was nice he took the center ring that's the most important thing for the big heavyweight but he was lged on his feet he was jabbing fainting first through the Jab Tak a little step back there so won P any any sort of any sort of R to get a bit of success or momentum in his work did everything really well and then I think the last few rounds and he he went he tried to increase the Pati on then he tried to look for the stoppage without going to gungho and I thought it was a really mature display from him yeah no I think it's a great performance from adza um like you said mature performance he he showed his skill set he he barely got out of second gear at times and um he looked to close the show at the end but it just left it too late yeah my my only criticism and I think it's a genuine thing that he can work on is he doesn't turn his hands over with the shots yeah agree and I just think in time that will probably I suppose he's like growth mindset with working with AJ that he'll he'll listen to AJ's advice he'll take it on board and and he'll learn from this yeah he'll learn for sure very very good talented fighter good personality he's an absolute unit you must say as well lot lot to work with for this young man a future star of the division no doubt we just wait for beteta to remove his right glove and we can hear the verdict from our MC from the for the evening sorry Mr David damante ladies and gentlemen after six rounds of action here at the Indigo at the O2 Arena we go to referee Bob Williams scorecard it reached 60 to 54 for your winner he's still undefeated Emmanuel oaza oaza go to two a professional look very very good there against Amin Bosa and if you needed any reminding I'm sure you don't there is a big matter of the Super Bowl this weekend Kanas City with NFL Game Pass only on the Zone watch Super Bowl 58 Super Bowl here we go the iconic moment in sport with the final two fa are to win the Ultimate Prize unbelievable yes Super Bowl 58 is live on the NFL Game Pass here on the Zone Kansas City Chiefs looking for their first championship win in four years as they go up against the 49ers do not miss this it is going to be a [Music] Blockbuster what brilliant first contest there lad we enjoyed that one John we have to talk about yourself there what a career honestly what a career if you would have gone back all those years ago when you first started boxing I'm sure you would have bit off the hand now that is giving you all of this ah but I got so much to be thankful to boxing for for the the life it's given me the people I've met like yourselves um the place I've gone that you've taken me many times um yeah yeah so much to be thankful to boxing for uh like I said the people I've met the places I've gone and the fights I've been involved in the dream any standout moments for you any fights that really really resonate and fights that you can be extreme I know you can be extremely proud of all of your fights but any that really stand out I mean yeah a few standout fights like the uh the Patrick Nelson fight the Jamie Cox fight um big fights for me below a in Vegas and um I know it was a defeat but even the Canelo fight in guara I mean at the time I wasn't focus on that I was just focus on the fight and what was happening but watching it back now what what an event what s to be a part of how would you who was the toughest would you say that you fought I mean you look at the Canelo The Smiths and mongia for you who was that the toughest opponent you ever had it's hard to put it down to to one fight I mean there was they was all tough um seven losses on my record there was there some tough nights but um I think the fights loses like Jack arfield Nick Blackwell they they was hard to come back from they was hard to take at the time but I mean you're going in against the likes of Canelo and you know that he's a pound-for-pound best out there and what not a generational great but the certain fights they stick with you and they they're hard to get over because you know you should have done better well incredible John what a career this man had honestly so proud to have been a very small part of it but anyway back to the action here at the indigo2 our Fighters are ready for the second contest so let's hand back over to our MC Mr David deamant all right ladies and gentlemen we're set to go with a special full round lightweight attraction set to make his ring walk please welcome The Undefeated Jordan no no [Music] tomason well here is tough Frenchman Jordan Thomason 26 from the lovely part of the the world nce love it there four wins no losses in one draw and now entering the arena The Undefeated ibraim spider [Music] sulan I'll tell you what what an unbelievable start to the career his career he's had Ibrahim sullan two fights two wins the stoppage came in his debut and I asked him at the press conference what would you rate how would you rate to start of your pro career out of 10 he said five and I was I was very surprised at that Barry yeah everything's been fantastic know he had that that really quick finisher when he has power and then in and then in second cont end he had the box of it he was allowed to show his skills so I think you know going hard on himself but you know that's that's not a bad thing you looking to improve look to get better you know good fights with com and then Baran very very impressive yeah but you got a guy here in Thomason looking shaped up really well another undefeated guy of course Chiefs it well nice fast jab as see nice and low Mak it hard to count it off of course might give him a little bit of a test here yeah nice straight one two from the south po STS to the body from Thomason there was a little prayer before the first Bell he took his time look calm look patient but there was a nervous look on his face John Ibrahim sullon what he made the the start of his pro career I think you got to give him credit he's he's 2 and0 he's going against another undefeated Fighter um man it's a real 50/50 contest and um they both look that they're up for it yeah he shapes up well like you say Barry yeah good good long R hook there you you go wi ni shot there fromon left hand hands there it was the right CH wasn't it from that was that the best punch of that little combination there's a risk there there sort of Lottery combinations aren't they they Lottery exchanges some's going to land first for round staron just showing nice head movement there former four-time National Champion bit of Rhythm to his work there committ to the combinations not loading up too much good game to chest there you can see both thinking trying to draw out the lead of their opponent and this is where that fake works you got a set it got real stab thatas just going back in straight lines like he's got Fair bit power in those shots only the the oneko but it looks solid just Cal just composed I could say that France part of the world but with a very good fight spider camon man be careful steing the head up there lead right hook there about to say man by friend and rapper JK good high level game of chess here both figh good work good defense though Thomas good opening round there [Music] [Music] [Music] not [Music] [Music] good opening round from both there John if you're the coach in both Corners what are you what advice are you offering both Fighters I think it's a a good first round for the boxing purist is um nip and Tuck but they both have their moments um I think more of the same so it's about creating openings and that they're both having success yeah agreed and I agree with you bar faint wouldn't go Miss here from both try and draw out that lead both got quick hands Zan raise a sharp again push back here I think the F's more important for Solon because you see how how tense and how tighty is there thomasan that I think if you sell the Ft really sell it he's going to he's going to fall for it he's going to he's going to commit oh good yeah that was a lovely left hand from Thomas only there pretty sure [Applause] they response that was a good shot that was a lovely left hand in reply just missing with that right to the body there but they've really gotten going a little bit tomason though getting pushed back onto the ropes now from Ibrahim San who just land a nice cuffing left hook round the side that right ear good matchmaking oh yeah there's nothing wrong with this in your cre good work lovely shot oh good and he finishes the combination with that right hook good work going through the gears here some nice flashy combinations not getting greedy but thr the twos and the threes jump yeah I think the Right Hook was a keeper both of them they both they're both open to it they're both finishing on it and they're both Landing with it but um yeah good good starts around here sorry John and it's a risk when you throw with another with another fighter but when you're loose and he's tense you should theoretically in a combination be quicker and get there first so I mean for for Solon it's not a bad idea throwing with tasani yeah I agree with that moment moment ago he went back to his more natural stance the off for thought now he's gone back to sou point he just lands a lovely lead right to the body just round that left elbow of Thomason he's got into his Groove here could H there as well then he went low and roll underneath the shot there Thomas you see when you throw with a fight if you throw with a fight and you have the success just makes him think AIT when he thinks espe someone like Thomason who's tense already when he start to think he tightens up and just slows him down makes the punches a little bit shorter just just affects his timing and Judgment of distance what would you put it down to that ability to land more in the TR flu it's a fluency because he's one's lose one's tight so when you're tight you're almost pushing with everything to accelerate the punches when you loose you turn on the hips nice left hook again and then he goes back to the sou stance it was a lead left hook that he landed from The orph Stance looking good here looking aggressive John yeah he looks like he's enjoying himself now having fun he's relaxed he's uh he's moving freely and he's rantic with it now yeah much better second round I mean there was nothing wrong with the first round it was a good game of chess if you like in that opening round but as that last couple of minutes of that second round start closing in you start to see the speed the class and the difference in power you could say from Solon yeah well I thought Thomas just nicked the first round to be honest there's nothing in it but I just thought you nicked I think a better start and I just thought there was some of the combinations I think it was cleaner shots but that round there that was a more dominant round there for Solon who who maybe knew that first round was too close and and he went out and committed I thought I thought in that round he stayed loose but he made sure he threw more he threw in combinations every time and and pretty much had most of the success they get caught a few times we see here how loose and smooth is with his shots with Thomas an nice even though he's staying nice and low when he's tense you're pushing out when you T you push out just means when you retract is a little bit slower we see there slow bring the shot back allow to land with the shots the clean the shots coming forward let see if the Frenchman Thomason can make the adjustments can he get close can he unsettle Ibrahim sullon who looked good like we said in that last couple of minutes of round two into round three we go this tomason holding the center of ring as he did in that previous round it wasn't long though before we started to see suon on the front foot let Big Shots go to head and body lots of switching as we see there started the round of an orthodox back to southp now working the body well what Thomas H has to do he throws that jab to the B that's a good jab there from Thomas H I thought he's stepping in with it when he throws that jab to the body throw that left hand over the top straight away you you made you've made the movement you commit yourself to the attack your feet are in the right place to let that hand go he's looking good here I like this John good work to head and body good variation good spikes good aggression as well yeah I think he knows Thomas on is only throwing singles and he could re well to them I think Thomas on mixed it up and just threw the twos and free he really catch him enough thought yeah good good positive boxing Ibrahim suon I like the way Barry that he commits to the shot really doesn't pour anything does he he really snaps the shots out but again I saw that body mechanics you don't load up you keep it nice and smooth means you can accelerate with your shot I takes a bit of weight I understand from your punch but it allows more speed into your shot and if you step into it then you will get that weight down oh was a lovely shot he's a brilliant finisher we've seen that good variation but a love B left down he's down he's almost through the ropes Thomas only the referee Howard fosta jumps in and saves the Frenchman that was a fantastic shot a brilliant finish and I'll tell you now I want to ask him the same question what are you grading your pro career now it surely Barry cannot be a fight no longer well this was a fight his career there's nothing wrong with it the guy who was undefeated in that first round really made you think know really made you think you know you knew you couldn't just going there just just let your punches go you had to really think about what you were doing but what was clever there he was squared up on the ropes and just threw a lovely uppercut just as he came forward there Thomas an and then Thomas sorry and then once he knew he landed with that s you said he's a great finisher pretty much every punch that comination you see him here like Square that's a lovely shot it really is but look at this though the N every punch he looks at the tag before he lets it go he didn't just throw that left hand there spinning the jaw there of sasoni it's a fantastic finish really is from from this shot here on the ropes but he's squar there makes him Miss look at that sees a little opening it's a great shot but this no the followup I don't think a I don't think a punch misses or the first one misses every other shot body body straight up to the head then his left hand in the midd see now right it spins the jaw around the back of his head fantastic work John talk to me about that finish I I think it was very very very good um on fire he was he was C he he slipped slipped come back with the uppercut caught him put him in Retreat and and and was sensible he didn't go head hunting he mixed up head body stay to the body went back upstairs really really good performance that left hand there of all the shots that left hand there as he come up there tomason that left hand punched right through his head and that was the shot that put him through the ropes that was a stand out perform he had to think he had to adjust and he got a better result I think that's a really stand up performance for a young Prospect who might go very very fast I think he will ladies and gentlemen referee Howard Foster calls a halt to this contest the official time of the stoppage 1 minute 35 seconds of round number three declaring your winner by TKO he's still UND undefeated ibraim spider [Applause] sulan where's CER Ibrahim congratulations at the press conference you were a bit harsh on yourself cuz you only gave yourself a five out of 10 for your first two fights what grade you give that performance tonight I need to watch your back it was all right yeah first of all I want to say alhamdulillah I'm big up match Big up Eddie big up Frank and Tom and let see I'm here to show show him the best and they gave me the opportunity to show it on the biggest platform so alhamdulillah always this is only your third fight Jordan Thomason was unbeaten posed some problems early on it seemed from that southp stance but what did you make of the challenge and what did you like about having a tough challenge in just your third fight yeah he was a good opponent like I had a a week and a half to train for him and uh I thought he's going to come out start aggressive so I thought take it easy the second in the first two rounds and the third round just thought put a bit of spite in my shots and you seen the result of that and just talk us through the Finish quickly before we bring in Eddie Hearn because it was it was a right uppercut that started it just talk us through the final moments down here I'm I'm a one second I'm the spider with eight legs so you seeing that shot come from a different angle that no one seen before and that's that's the way it is I'm here to be the best and alhamdulillah I get to show it yeah so yeah man quick one from promoter Eddie Hearn a spider with eight legs sells a lot of tickets but exciting in the ring what do you like about what you're seeing what liked is he took a big step up tonight there was no fear from the team to take on an undefeated opponent you saw in the first two rounds that was a close fight I said to him you got be more aggressive here and he did it it's a beautiful shot it's a fantastic finish we love the fact that he's willing to move at PACE he's very popular sells a lot of tickets he I think he had a week or two week's notice for this show come on we got a couple of big cards to announce in April that is going to be part of as well try time to put a plan together for spider I think you know get that activity that regular activity move to six rounds that's important these four rounds can be shootout sometimes against good quality opposition that was a very good win tonight gutsy matchmaking and and showed a lot of class Ibrahim congratulations and know when you watch that back you'll be very happy with that performance tonight well done and uh I'm not going to celebrate that working really quickly I'm not going to celebrate it's time to be humble and it's time for reflection onto the next inshallah top man Ibrahim well done three [Applause] [Music] know [Music] let's see how you do Under Pressure let's see how you do Under Pressure a moment can live on forever okay let's see how you do Under Pressure let see how you do Under Pressure give him a name to remember hey let's see how you do Under Pressure let's see how you do Under Pressure a moment can live on [Music] forever well repeat or revenge in Mexico on Friday night as Champion Adrian Carell and Sur not singer go at it again the following week super middleweight action in Orlando as Eda banga takes on P the hammer mcui while Mark kick off in Puerto Rico with the homecoming of Legend Amanda Sano Jake Paul also back for that one well lots to look forward to there adram cuel I mean you've seen The Knockout I'm guessing Barry in Monte Carlo against Z Singa I was there it I mean unbelievable what a shot unbelievable again I think it's that um that curse of bringing Mexicans over anywh I think at the minute a Mexican who travels is is the most dangerous person on the planet it seems to be so yeah or a Mexican at home with John don't yeah but I mean literally there no be fa they used to bring Mexicans over in in my day and certainly in the ' 80s who were who were easy to beat there was always great Mexicans but the ones who come over here never were very good but now now I think you know they having a having a fantastic haven't seen a bad Mexican in the last 15 years know I know they have been the bogey men but anyway that is a fight to look forward to and there's another one to look forward to here the third and final fight on before the Bell our MC David Diamante is ready so let's hand over to him now all ladies and gentlemen the action continues with a special middleweight attraction now entering the arena from swinden please welcome Jen [Music] Irving here is Jensen win from swinden 34 now four wins five losses just the one stop his defeat started off really well winning his first four lost his last five he can fight though he's tricky his game can he upset a young debutant here [Music] tonight and now set to make his very first ring walk as a professional Jack the Ripper [Applause] ol and here is the former seven time National Champion European gold medalist GB representative fre Nations Gold Medal winner Jack olant from bexy he about 20 minutes down the road very very popular sold around 330 tickets for this could have done a lot more he said you can hear him in full voice fired up squ Stone man really desperate to put on a good performance this evening and get his pro career off and running with a [Music] bank ladies and gentlemen from the Indigo at the O2 Arena here in London England live on the Zone we are set to go with our next bout of the evening and it's all being brought to you courtesy of Mr Eddie Hearn of matchroom boxing we're sponsored by bet frad stage front Everlast and forged Irish Stout introducing your third man in the ring at the sound of the Bell from Watford scoring AAR referee Mr Bob Williams and Now ladies and gentlemen four rounds of boxing scheduled in the middleweight division introducing first fighting out of the Red Corner Wing to black red and yellow he scaled 11 stone 8 lb 3 oz his professional record four wins against defeats he fights out of swinden introducing Jensen Irving Irving and his opponent across the ring fighting out of the blue corner he wears the white with the red trim he scaled 11 stone 7 lb 7 oz tonight he makes his much anticipated professional debut here is the three nations gold medalist the European gold medalist the three time British champion and the seven time National Champion fighting out of Bexley Heath in the southeast of London check the Ripper ol ol obey my commands in the event of a knockdown the fighter standing we'll go to the furthest neutral corner and stay there protect yourself at all times touch clubs guys well here we go the first round of the debutant Jack olifant from like I say 20 minutes down the road in Becky Heath and you can hear the 330 supporters that he brought with him they sound like about 5 600 if Onis and straight away on the front foot is the former seven time National Champion trained by Kevin Lily in the Newlands gym in Wickford Essex he's a twin brother will also a former National Champion looking to turn pro soon boxing's in his blood like I say he's represented Great Britain box for England in the European youth games which I'll talk about there's a story there but I'll pick the right moment to mention that it's a sad story but a short story who can be very very proud of but we can dominate on the FR here good variation to head and body Barry yeah you try to work be on the jab I think for everyone having their first fight even whether you been a world class am or not it's not the rusher work the eagerness to want to impress especially when you sell a lot of tickets sometimes you can rush you getting a scrappy Affair but he's doing the right thing he's Tak the center ring not panicking not rushing anything do nice and run and doing the Bas quite well here I think that's important important just to get just get some get used to it then you can start up in the tempo positive start on the front foot calm relaxed looking for the big shots to head and body working on the jab that's def important's doing that really well here and just trying to chop down with that right hand just like to see him turn more with the shoulders in the hips keep it nice and long rather than look to chop down with it finish his here at the hon Boxing Club takes a right hand there though from Jensen win before that was at body shots and he spent four years the famous green and gold of reptor never lost a fight there bundles of talent I can say he's a twin brother will also a very good fighter mixing up the body and head shots with that lead hand just jump left just miss him the right hand he's crossy on his feet I've seen him before just takes a right hook there Barry around that low left hand irn yeah was good for olant there just seen as win move to the left there just couldn't move his feet but just yeah whip that right hand over the top there but again you long as he keeps nice and long work and com he moves his feet behind the punches and step in with it I think for now I think the one time he stepped in close he got tagged a little bit so he has that lux having that long Long Reach just would be on the jab forc to make a mistake and then pop and then pop him with the right hand now again he drops out lead hand just to try and bait Irving in but he's not taking it big milw fan olant you can hear him here in the go at the O2 good opening round for the [Applause] [Music] deut [Applause] pleas this right yeah f [Music] good positive start John from Jack ol yeah I think so he's probably played that first round out of his mind 100 times before this um and you know what in this intimate setting it's quite a mature performance for him he's not getting gho he's not rushing nothing and he's boxing nice let totally agree mature performance from the 22y old boxing nicely strong aggressive looking for the shots looking to entertain this 300 plus supporters that he's brought here this evening at the end the go that's good there everything beond the jab he threw no single jab and like two seconds there a nice little onew there he knew he knew where his people were knew he was in range oh good B to straight down the middle fromant took it well J Irving just looping the left hand didn't he just just take the end again there only stopped once against 10 and0 fighter from Newcastle Alex Farrell and to be honest it was a silly mistake I watched it he just looks to switch and as he switches to southp he just gets caught with a right hand straight down the middle wasn't doing too bad in that contest at the time so as he learned from that I've seen him switch a couple of times already hasn't stayed in the South W starts for long lands a nice jab he does need to be careful moving to his left cuz he dropped the left hand doesn't he exactly that just walking onto that right hand that looks like the favored shot of ol Fant of there lovely just need to be more regular with that left hand [Applause] good pressure backing on to the ropes with a crowd they enjoyed his work oh that's a good one two row Dro that right hand oh he takes a big shot from that's only good comeback from the man from Swindon ask got a hold on here can he was shook by that shot there just away in in a distance you need to be that close he doesn't but I understand he's having confidence tring to we down success and he can his beat but like I said if he keeps you nice and long that's where he needs to be big shot wasn't it just as he was going in for the close olant takes a big left hook that's just slowed him down a little bit a reminder hook think yeah I think so it seems like he's got his legs back under him but yeah he did take a massive shot there and he he done he done a sensible thing he held yeah you got to go you got to ride through the storm hav you he's necessary but again that's just reminder you know stick to what you're good at stick to the boxing just get back to the basics here working behind that last jab that would have helped him withn all those national titles and that gold in the Europeans you can get the PO let walk on the frustra pepp with the jab frustra with the jab let him walk on the punching I mean it was a good round up until that moment and he's finished the round well OE F but that was a big left up from this man here he was backed onto the ropes under the C let's have a look at this shot bar well I just think I just think Olan got a little bit too greedy he was working well here oh there's just no shape to him there when he took that shot he's looking for that left in the body he just his right hands low there's no defense there I think nothing was coming back and he was increasing the pace I thought he thought he he had a free reign but obviously he never he rotated into a right hand as well with there J yeah I mean he come back with his own right to be fair I didn't see that at the time but um yeah it was a massive shot and it was all of all off the first shot that that got thrown so um it it was unfortunate it was like he was just getting careless with the glove it just one shot made him lower his hand and the other one come right over the top let's see how Irving approaches this fight like I say won his first for for there's Talent there there was potential but since lost his last five he's I think he's made the choice to earn money we know what this Sport's like people maybe do watch Boxing on a regular basis don't understand what you have to do but he's actually actually scheduled to fight next weekend exactly Crocker and Swansea so he'll be thinking about another payday next weekend for sure so he's got to pick his moments right he don't want to be having a war Jord G a fantastic amateur turn pro couldn't couldn't sell tickets couldn't make money so he's gone on the road now and he he loses every fight but makes a living and makes you work for it where he has that talent that that obvious talent to know how to box he obviously knows how to look after himself you see in similar sort of traits here from Irving sort of knows how to move and stay out of trouble yeah but it makes him invaluable for for young fellas like olant who who need experience and against people who who will fire back and will you know just remind you if you make a mistake you will pay for it yeah I think the these kind of Fighters don't get the credit they deserve at times they're like the heart and soul box them they they they bring the upper comers up through the r invaluable to the game of boxing the professional game of boxing that is but again we see Jack Olan on the front foot again Irving moving predominantly to his left I'm surprised he's not been able to time that right hand ol look at there he got him on the ropes there landed with a shot first thing he did was put his hands back up so learned his lesson yeah nice little pivot there back to Center ring from M again I'd like to see him just get in a rhythm behind that jab when we've seen him get behind that lead hand very very smooth relax he has good Rhythm and variation with the shot everything will follow as we've already seen and double jab you haven't going to put too much weight in the to stab with the front foot either but the first jab stops from good shot the second J pushes him back and that puts him on at the end of that right time good attack again head and body good variation does come a little T when he lets the shots go see the chin a little high and that's why Irving was able to find that left H in the first sorry second round but what he need to do there ol when when you got him on the RO just it's only a little quarter step either side left or right that just put you off the line from what's coming back every slightly just enough that is trying to creep forward sorry Irving just on the back foot he's leaning back trying to walk Irving on to the right [Applause] hand yeah tuing up while rolling under the shots good action at the end of this third round ol [Applause] [Music] get thate [Applause] [Music] good debut opponent for me here Jensen Irving making jack oler work for his openings landed a couple of good shots shoulders some good work good variation just having a look around here some faces in the crowd Jordan Gil n Hughes Kevin Mitchell and his son Connor what start to fill up nicely a different kind of venue here at the Indigo the ring is on the stage got a balcony here overlooking no doubt tonight's Main Event Dylan the champion versus re bot the come off Champion the roof is going to come off of this place but back to this contest here the final contest on before the Bell debutant olant on the front foot he's played his part Irving hasn't he Barry no yeah he certainly has yeah made Doan think you know really think about what he's doing but good little debut I think you know again it's not the debut you want this John he hasn't like super sonic but it's invaluable for his progress no not the debut you want but probably the debut you need in your career to to push you on moving forward yeah inv valuable lessons here you're going to come ac across guys like this will cause you problems and land shots like he's just landed there Irving yeah and also I think he's learned when he got when he got tagged the next round he kept everything long and W be on the jab and even though he still trying to be aggressive he didn't get too GRE with his success I think that last round again still doing well but he made a few mistakes again got his head a littleit chin a little bit too high got caught a few times but you know I think that's a fight D you try to trying to land punches nothing wrong with these fight he's a better a guy who just does nothing yeah the long better roll over the opponent in the first round and get knocking from it he's learning a bit here and he's he's not going to make the same mistakes again hopefully push him that jab a little bit snap that jab out yeah does have quick hands olant Landing a couple of one two back into that blue corner just an exit to the left again from Irving good reaction there for those Irving just trying to be a little bit tricky made half a mistake W the jab right on his right down his chin there yeah he landed a nice jab there Irving just missing with the the lead left H ol F yeah I guess he would have dream about getting a stoppage here at the end the go but with 38 seconds and the way that Irving has managed to take this thing out the such I don't think you get it but like we've all said here at the commentary Des he would have learned an awful lot Jack ol and he's have to show good qualities taking a shot and coming back from that and it's John to the right thing he held straight away just just to get his feet under that just Grazy as the Target right iot just leaning back on the shot but showing a good variation again Mak him Irving Miss with the left H Landing a right hand finishing the fight really really well both guys here the Jensen o in good final fight here on before the [Applause] Bell yeah a lot to a lot to light from on of a lot to work on but a lot to work with John yeah I mean a t baby Irving we can see what a fighter he is and like you said he's obvious made that decision now but he's still a tough cookie the the story I was going to mention just before he found out that his mom was Ill with cancer and a week before that he was traveling to Bulgaria in 2017 to go to the tournament he found out his mom wasn't going to make it the day before he left his mom passed away and he had a decision whether to go to the Championships or not and he did he wanted to go in honor of his mom and he went to the tournament a tough tournament European tournament and he won Gold and not only did he win gold he got boxer at a tournament and that showed real mental toughness desire a will to win courage that is unmatched and that you you can't teach you either got it or you haven't and he can be extremely proud of himself not just then but now what he's doing for himself and what he's doing for his family yeah and you draw from things like that don't you and know and and that that makes you a more steal fighter of course but that that was a good performance I good debut and I think we'll see a lot more of [Applause] him [Music] ladies and gentlemen after four rounds of action here at the Indigo at the o02 we go to referee Bob Williams scorecard it reads 40- 36 for your winner he's now undefeated Jack the Ripper oler Jack oler goes to one and0 as a professional a very good test for his debut he was made to work he landed a couple of shots Irving but we see the class the pedig pedigree Shine from Jack olant throughout that contest showed us like I say a bit of every we're going to get to hear from the Victor the debutant now one and0 he's with our reporter Jamie Ward let's hand over to Jamie now well Jack congratulations you only get one professional debut you said it's a moment you've dreamed of for many years how would you sum up what this means to you in front of your friends and your people here tonight I mean first of all I've got to thank Eddie all my sponsors we manag on that because as much as t as I am this would possible without him and my family and me need us more than more than everyone else so I think you enjoyed it it was certainly a strong welcoming to the professional ranks the smaller gloves what did you make of the man in front of you Jensen Irving cuz did that turn into a tougher fight than you'd expected yeah I knew tough L anyway you know he's SP using great fights with other prospects I told him manager I don't want to know silly clowns be up you know I mean this what do this for I want them fights they want to see the fights you know what I mean so yeah we know you've got a great amateur pedigree seven seven time National Champion as well but that was exciting from the first Bell a serious pce set can we expect you to be in those type of fights many many more many many more what you saying what you [Applause] saying let's bring in promot Eddie H Eddie with professional debut becomes excitement as well what did you like about that and certainly got the support I mean firstly he showed he's got a great chin cuz he got hit flush twice you know and he he was exciting and he's got he's got to calm down a little bit I saw that in the way yesterday but how exciting and also sold over 300 tickets in like a week's notice for this so well done you lot for coming out tonight but the reality is that that's what opens the doors the the pedigree and a resume opens the doors the support helps kick the door down but performance like that they're exciting make you want to see him again and that's the most important thing these kind of shows nextg shows are about showing showcasing British talent but we want exciting Talent we want people you imagine him in this place you know in a 10 round British title I British title eliminate he's going to sell the place out very quickly great professional debut really exciting and um yeah let's let's speak to the team and get the next one in the book in the in the next month or so have a little rest and go again try and stay as active as possible well done and seriously you know you need I know you're thanking me you need to thank this lot for coming out and supporting you know me they're going to make the difference you know and Jack just final one from you I know you've got a very inspiring story a story that gives you a lot of strength in the ring from your experiences you've had to go through unfortunately outside the ring it motivates you as an amateur how much does it motivate you now telling professional all the people came came in know that my mom and God was both in that ring tonight A million per and she the whole way through she wasn't so yeah I know she's
