US to Approve ATACMS Strikes Inside Russia for Ukraine

welcome back Defenders Jake here I've got good news today the United States is going to lift restrictions on the use of attacks inside of Russia this is being reported by Julie Grace she's a Capitol Hill reporter and here's what she says house Foreign Affairs chairman Michael McCall said I talked to secretary blinkin two days ago and he's traveling with his counterpart from the United Kingdom to keev to basically tell them that they will allow them to hit Russia with attacks I'm assuming also British Storm Shadow cruise missiles this is basically confirmed by the uh State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller announcing secretary blinkin will be in Ukraine on September 11th with the UK foreign secretary this is huge now what I want to say is I don't think this will be a blanket lift on all the restrictions what president seninsky did the last couple weeks was present a specific list for approval I don't think the United States will ever allow the use of attacks against purely civilian targets such as oil Depot oil refineries and thermal power plants Ukraine can still strike them they just have to use their own domestically produced drones but Russian airfields Russian Ammunition Depot within 300 km of the Border they're going to start going boom over the next couple weeks I think as soon as Ukraine gets them it's going to be a bad week for the Russians I also think the United States is eventually going to approve and deliver jums this is the American equivalent of the British Storm Shadow cruise missile I think this is still going to take a couple months they might not arrive until November or December but once they start arriving I think they also will be allowed to be used against valid military targets inside of Russia this is a problem for the Russians I do want to say that to everyone who uh called the White House wrote the representatives applied pressure on social media that definitely had an impact in making this policy change from the White House but more so I think it's this it's the choice by the Russians to escalate by importing ballistic missiles from Iran us says Iran has sent missiles to Russia to hit Ukrainian cities the estimates right now is it's about 200 short range ballistic missiles being imported from Iran to Russia to be launched against Ukraine I'm confident the United States has the intelligence where they are right now and they're telling the ukrainians and if these missiles are within 300 km of the Border yes I think a Storm Shadow or an attack TS is waiting for this weapons Depot and they're going to try and Destroy these missiles from Iran before they can be launched against Ukrainian cities this also I think went into the equation August saw the second highest number of Civilian casualties dealt by Russia to Ukraine this year Russia's Campaign Of Terror killed 184 civilians and injured another 856 mostly women children and the elderly uh in the month of August Russia can't win this war and things can always get worse for Russia if they continue that is the message that has been sent for the last two and a half years and it's not going to stop Russia can't win this war and the West needs to keep giving Ukraine the capabilities to convince the Russians that they're not going to achieve any of their objectives when we switch over to the military map there's been no significant changes in the last couple days the Russians are no longer making progress towards the city of prros however this there is this region of the map it's basically just a bunch of Open Fields that Ukraine is slowly withdrawing from in order to fortify these Villages uh located here on The High Ground concerning KK uh Ukraine is holding on to this territory they've taken in Russia and everyone keeps uh focusing on the village of Corino the ukrainians need to take this first before they can start sweeping West into the glovo district the village of glush kovo is located right here and we have reports that the Russian military has looted the town Ukraine is nowhere's near this town yet but the Russian military is I think assuming they're going to lose it anyways so all of the shops all of the stores have been looted by the Russian military anything of value this is not this is not about taking food and supplies to fight the war it's about just stealing cell phones and washing machines and anything of value they can send home to their loved ones but I'll link this video down below if you want to see what the main street in glush kovo now looks like considering the Russians don't think they're going to hold on to this town and it's so bad it's so Draconian how the Russians view their own people this was actually said on Kremlin State TV so this uh expert is giving his opinions what should be done about kskk and I want to read for you what his plan is a month has already passed since the invasion of the KK region today official Reports say that we are repelling attacks but there are no reports yet that we are advancing Ing and liberating certain territories or there are barely any clearly there are problems here they objectively exist in fact if the enemy has settled in the captured Villages settlements and Forest belts then to drive them out of there it is necessary to destroy everything there just as it happens on the front lines that is destroy our Villages our settlements and our forests so this is the Russians on Kremlin State tv announcing to their own people they're about to destroy their own cities Villages and settlements that Ukraine Now controls and sure enough there's already pictures and videos of Russian aerial bombs landing on residential homes in the occupied territories it's estimated that about 18,000 Russian civilians uh stayed and are within the Ukrainian occup regions of KK Russia has already started bombing their own cities killing their own people they probably view anyone who stayed behind as a traitor anyways for not fleeing the region but yeah this is pretty heartless Russia just doesn't care about any of their own people this is a big story Russian attack drones breach NATO airspace in Romania and ltia on route to Ukraine Russia faced renewed condemnation after its drones targeting Ukraine breached the airspace of ltia and Romania soia confirms that the down Shahi drone had explosives in it before it crashed and I don't really understand this how do you accidentally fly over Lan airspace trying to get to Ukraine if the drones were launched from bellarus or Russia how do you get to ltia so this is either sheer incompetence or a deliberate provocation Russia is just doing this to mess with NATO and to aggravate the people of the Baltic states concerning Romania this is more concerning Romania finds wreckage of Russian drone on the border with Ukraine and Romanian F-16 fighter jets were scrambled in response to the drones entering their airspace so is three of them three Russian Shahi drones deliberately flew over Romania to strike Targets in Ukraine and Romanian f-16s intercepted them and escorted them over the Border they deliberately did not shoot them down the reason why Romanian f-16s did not shoot down the drones is what if you shoot down the Drone and it crashes and lands into a Romanian Farm Farmhouse killing a Romanian citizen so the Romanian government decided to let the drones continue on their flight path to strike their targets inside of Ukraine I get it that Romania and Poland or whoever don't want to intercept missiles and drones over Ukrainian airspace but they have to do it over their own airspace when Russia chooses to violate it for the last two and a half years the Russians have been using missiles and drones violating moldova's airspace they don't care but you can't do this to a NATO country if the drones or missiles go over NATO airspace they have to be shot down I don't know what to say this is this is pretty disappointing and I think political pressure needs to be applied on Poland Romania ltia Lithuania if missiles and drones go over your country from Russia they have to be shot down this is a bad story Chancellor Schultz urges speedier efforts to end Russia's war on Ukraine so the chancellor of Germany is now calling for peace and by peace he means Ukraine must give up territory to Russia in order to get a ceasefire or a peace deal the chancellor of Germany is now joining the ranks of people like Victor Orban of Hungary lucenko of bellarus turkey India China Brazil all the people who think they have the perfect idea how to get peace in our time Ukraine just has to give up their territory to Russia so what Chancellor Schultz is doing is he's responding to internal political pressure in East Germany they had Regional elections a couple weeks ago and the far right afd won some seats they got a lot of votes like a lot and the afd they're basically Nazis or they're sympathetic towards Germany's Nazi history and surprise surprise the Nazis in Germany love the Russians we have Nazis here in America as well they also love the Russians I struggle to understand why it is that Russia claims they are ridding the world of Nazis when all the Nazis who live in the West support the Russians so Chancellor Schultz is incredibly unpopular in Germany I don't know why making this announcement or flip-flopping would change that I don't see the afd warming up to Chancellor Schulz just because he made this announcement he's more likely just to alienate more of his own supporters but here's a public opinion poll in Germany and 77% of Germans say that Chancellor Schultz is is not achieving his proclaimed aims while only 177% of Germans have a favorable opinion of him even in Schultz's own party the SPD 49% of his own party members view him negatively so there's going to be some more political upheaval in Germany next year when they have more elections and I don't know what's going to happen but this is not good news generally for the Western Alliance here are some thoughts from Gary Casper off Schultz is desperate for a Minsk 3 and a nordstream 3 but these appeasement tactics will instead get him into World War I history and Putin himself repeatedly has demonstrated that you cannot appease and concede your way to peace with a hostile dictatorship Schultz wants to trade Ukrainian land and lives for headlines and to pass the buck every delay every proposed deal just convinces Putin the West is weak Putin needs war and he will not stop until he is given overwhelming reasons to do so real peace requires Russia's defeat on the battlefield economic collapse and political isolation doesn't really matter what Chancellor Schultz says Russia will be defeated and the people of Russia need to be freed from the fascist State they find themselves in today so let's get to some other headlines uh the first one's not good Russians escalate execution of Ukrainian prisoners of War recent reports indicate a disturbing trend of Russian forces increasingly just executing Ukrainian PS across the front line with at least 28 cases being investigated I myself have probably seen at least a dozen videos over the last two and a half years of Russian soldiers on camera proudly executing unarmed Ukrainian soldiers P who have surrendered this is called Murder and um there was a recent two recent videos I'll link one down below it's just heartbreaking to watch the Russians are absolute evil they invaded land that did not belong to them and they're executing the solders is just trying to defend their own cities settlements and families once again a very disturbing video and I don't know about you guys but this just motivates me even more to work even harder to support Ukraine and defeat the Russians so Ukraine has to do something to respond to these egregious violations of the laws of armed combat Ukraine restricts Russian P's phone privileges in response to executions of ukrainians Ukraine has suspended the privilege of Russian PS to make phone calls home they will retain their right to send letters in accordance with the Geneva Convention which doesn't guarantee phone call privileges so the ukrainians actually like uh for Russian PS in Ukraine to call home to explain to them to their families what's been happening what's going on I don't even think that Kremlin wants these phone calls to happen but Ukraine is going to do this to hopefully apply some kind of political pressure on ordinary Russian civilians the families of current Russian PS it this is an impossible situation how do you get the Russians to stop committing war crimes Jaris Ukraine's fire spewing Dragon drones give Russian troops a headache Ukrainian forces have begun using fire spewing drones against Russian positions in tree lines and in forests this is now a widespread practice this is gaining traction these uh draus drones are being Unleashed all across the front lines we get more and more videos every day and it's a drone that mixes uh the components of thermite as it drops and then the thermite burns and sets on fire anything that's flammable that it touches how do you make thermite well you can Google that if you want uh so somehow I haven't seen a picture or video of these uh drones up close but somehow they're mixing the two chemicals and igniting it as it drops and then lands on whatever and burns for a while but this is this is crazy guys I'll link the video down below if you want to see it additionally Ukraine's drone capabilities keep branching off into new unexpected directions Ukraine reportedly Downs a Russian oron drone at a record height of 3.6 kilom so the Russians uh the last 2 and a half years they've had pretty good surveillance drones they're not very expensive and they fly at high altitudes taking pictures and videos surveilling the front lines and the question is do you expend a very expensive and limited air defense missile to shoot down a cheap reconnaissance drone so Ukraine has been looking for a way to get to these high altitudes with their own fpv drones and then take them out so here's a a compilation put out by Ukraine showing how effective they're getting at targeting and destroying Russia's surveillance drones over their country it's very impressive I'm impressed Ukraine fires two times fewer shells than Russia reducing the Gap according to General cerski so he's talking about the artillery advantage that Russia has had this entire War the Russians have always been outf firing the ukrainians with artillery 10:1 6:1 5:1 but thanks to the cck Le artillery initiative as well as increasing production here in the United States and other places Ukraine is getting more artillery shells and they're only being outf fired 2:1 or 2.5 to1 it's progress we need to get this up to one: one Russian authorities report fire at a fuel storage site in belgrad Russia claims a fire at a fuel storage facility in belgrad was caused by a Ukrainian drone strike it's probably a safe bet this sounds like bad news Kremlin sends Cadets to front line to cover troop shortages according to partisans Cadets are being deployed to the hon and zapar rizia sectors because of troop shortages due to death and redeployment to the KK region as well as the pakros offensive so a military Cadet is um uh a student who hasn't graduated from one of the Russian militarys yet I do know that because of the war they've already shortened the length of time you spend at the Academy prior to commissioning as a Russian officer but it sounds like they're so desperate they're just sending Cadets prior to their graduation prior to their commissioning these Russian men would be 19 20 21 year olds not yet lieutenants and they're already being put in charge of contract soldiers and whoever things are going great Russia okay here's the top story that's been developing this week Google reportedly restricts their services inside of Russia Russian users have reported error messages when attempting to register on Google with a domestic phone number some have speculated it could be related to the latest us sanctions on it Services inside of Russia so if you're a Russian citizen with Russian phone number you can no longer twoa or authenticate you can't use your Russian phone number to register for any Google products and services and what's Happening Here is this is a permanent divorce between Putin's Russia and the company Google last month the Kremlin decided to finally ban the entire platform of YouTube Google owns YouTube so what's the incentive what's the reason for Google to continue operating in any way inside of Russia and I don't think the Kremlin thought this through when they decided to go to war with Google because how do you avoid Google on the modern internet apple and the IOS operating system is already pulled out of Russia and if you're not using iOS for your mobile device you're probably using Android Android is owned by Google so I think Russians today woke up and it's going to take weeks or months to feel the full effects but how do you use the modern internet avoiding both Apple products and iOS and Google products and Android this is going to be an information nightmare for the people of Russia I also think Google is taking aggressive actions now in response to this doj indictment of these Maga influencers accepting Russian money to promote Donald Trump and just generally push fear and division here in the United States Google is taking steps and I've got some bad news for you guys Taylor Hansen decided to block me on Twitter I did interact with him a couple times and I was hoping maybe we could be come friends maybe he you know had some regret about the Russian money he took to promote Russian disinformation and propaganda but no I I think he's going to keep the money and not admit to any fault here so the question is who else uh an unsealed FBI affidavit reveals that the FBI is currently tracking about 600 of these influencers knowing or unknowingly accepting money from the Russians to promote Donald Trump to promote right-wing conspiracy theories to just generally push this Civil War narrative here in the United States to weaken America to help Russia win this war and another pretty big right-wing commentator influencer just fell this is Candace Owens and her YouTube channel has 2.3 million subscribers and when we look at her recent videos she gets a lot of views 3 weeks ago 1.5 million views on her Channel she's got Kanye West Andrew Tates Alex Jones the usual people who support Russia and she announced on Twitter that she's been completely demonetized by YouTube she's been kicked out of the YouTube Partner program what were the recent violations she claims that she was targeted she received three strikes back to back within minutes for her content and the video I guess that pushed uh Google and YouTube over the edge was her interview with Kanye West Kanye West has basically been canceled in America because he supports Hitler Kanye West went on Alex Jones's show was a little over a year ago and said Hitler was a great guy and the Nazis weren't that bad and I I can't explain it Kanye West is insane but a huge Donald Trump supporter so what's the connection between all these right-wing commentators and RT news and we're going to find out more I think every week uh we're going to get more names from the FBI in the Department of Justice of who's taking money from the Russians to promote Donald Trump and promote Russian propaganda I'm not promoting a conspiracy here these people are this is Margarita simonon the head of RT news on Kremlin State tv admitting to what they're doing they're bragging to their own domestic audience how easy it is to infiltrate the right-wing media sphere here in the United States and push their propaganda to American audiences so let me share with you what Margarita has to say let me these influencers hit them with the propaganda Ukraine was behind the crocus City Hall attack Ukraine is uh pushing us towards World War III NATO expansion caused this war Russia's the good guy they're just defending themselves these people have these genuine beliefs they believe this Russia is just throwing millions of dollars at them to amplify them so they can hire editors they can hire a staff they can have a nicer Studio they can have a baller lifestyle that poor dumb people in America want to emulat and they end up looking up to these people it's pretty sick so the big story in the United States today is we're having a presidential debate kicks off in a couple hours our election is basically a coin flip will democracy here in the United States continue past 2024 we're going to Sweden announced a new 400 million EUR military aid package for Ukraine and oddly in this package is included spare parts for the Swedish gri and fighter jet so why would you send Ukraine spare parts in Ukraine myself or appear on Ukrainian channels and it is becoming increasingly more difficult due to all the blackouts because Russia has been blowing up Ukraine's thermal power plants the best case scenario for Ukraine is that the blackouts are scheduled you can you know plan around them but when the power goes out you have to continue living their living your life These are ukrainians
