ABSOLUTELY THEY HAVE. SO NASA HAS INVESTED AROUND 5.1 BILLION TO BOEING FOR THE STARLINER PROGRAM, AND THEY'VE ALREADY SHELLED OUT MOST OF THAT FUNDING HERE. THEY GAVE SPACEX, ON THE OTHER HAND, ABOUT HALF OF THAT, 2.6 BILLION. BOEING STARLINER PROGRAM. >>THOUGH HAS HAD YEARS OF DELAYS. THEY'VE GONE OVER BUDGET AND NOW THEY HAVE THESE ISSUES WITH THE STARLINER SPACECRAFT, BUT NASA HASN'T ANNOUNCED ANY PLANS TO PULL FUNDING, SO OVERALL SPACEX SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN STRONG IN THE MARKET, RIGHT? OH YEAH, THEY'RE DOMINATING THE MARKET RIGHT NOW. THEY'VE HAD MORE THAN 80 MISSIONS LAUNCHED OF THEIR FALCON 9 AND FALCON HEAVY ROCKETS THIS YEAR COMPARED TO THE 4 LAUNCHES FROM THEIR RIVAL UNITED LAUNCH ALLIANCE AND THEN 10 LAUNCHES FROM THEIR OTHER RIVAL ROCKET LABS USA. THERE'S ALSO BEEN REPORTS THAT STARLINER SPACECRAFTS ARE INCOMPATIBLE WITH THE SPACEX. >>CAPSULE. SO OBVIOUSLY THESE ASTRONAUTS ARE SUPPOSED TO RIDE BACK IN FEBRUARY IF THAT TURNS OUT TO BE THE CASE, WHAT'S PLAN B? YEAH, IT DEFINITELY SEEMS A BIT CONCERNING. IT STILL REMAINS UNCLEAR, BUT IT COULD POTENTIALLY BE A PRETTY BIG PROBLEM HERE. NASA CONFIRMED THAT IT'S CONSIDERING FLYING THE ASTRONAUTS BUTCH WILMORE AND SUNNY WILLIAMS BACK WITHOUT A SUIT BUT A SAFER SOLUTION ALSO ON THE TABLE IS TO JUST FLY TO SPACESUITS UP WITH THE SPACEX CREW WHEN THEY LEAVE IN SEPTEMBER, SO WE'LL SEE WHAT HAPPENS.
