today we have some news that's been on every Queen Fan's Mind Brian May the legendary guitarist and one of the key pillars of Queen has recently opened up about a health scare that left fans deeply [Music] concerned at 77 years old May has been an Unstoppable force in the world of rock but his recent Revelation about a minor stroke has everyone hoping for his Swift recovery so here's what went down just last week Brian May suffered a stroke a terrifying experience for anyone but especially for someone whose life and career revolve around their musical Talent this stroke came on suddenly and left him without control of his left arm which for a guitarist of his caliber was understandably a frightening experience May shared the news with his followers on social media on Wednesday morning and it's safe to say that fans were both shocked and relieved by his update in a heartfelt video Brian wiggled his fingers to reassure everyone that he could still play the guitar calling the stroke a little Health hiccup I think the good news is that I can play guitar after the events of the last can you imagine for a moment Brian May the genius behind some of the most iconic guitar solos in rock history thought he might never play again but in true Brian May fashion he took it all in stride and even managed to share some good news with his fans despite the severity of the situation Brian has been receiving fantastic care from his medical team he's made it clear that he didn't want to share the news immediately because he didn't want anyone to feel sorry for him and he didn't want his inbox flooded with messages of sympathy classic Brian right but he did mention that he's on the road to recovery he's following doctor's orders to the letter which means no driving no flying and basically no strenuous activity that might raise his heart rate he even joked about being grounded showing that his spirits are still high and I say this because it was in some doubt because that little Health hicup as of now it's unclear how long his recovery will take and whether there will be any lasting effects on his ability to play the guitar but knowing Brian May we're sure he'll do everything in his power to get back to doing what he loves most this isn't the first time Brian has faced a serious health challenge back in 2020 he suffered a heart attack due to arterial disease which led to the insertion of three stent to keep his arteries open he even described it as a very near death event yet despite these setbacks Brian has continued to work on various projects including a documentary for the BBC about the UK's Badger call policies and of course his music with [Music] queen as fans we can only admire his resilience and hope that he'll make a full recovery soon while we're not sure when or if he'll return to the stage what's clear is that Brian May's Legacy as one of the greatest guitarists in history is Untouchable so what do you think will Brian may be back on stage sooner than we think how do you feel about his recent Health scare let us know in the comments below and as always if you enjoyed this video don't forget to give it a thumbs up subscribe music mad
