Intro time for another pop culture Roundup and this time outnumbered co-host Emily compano was so kind to come and join us to Dish about the latest that Hollywood has to offer so we're starting off um with of course Prince AR and Megan so Prince AR and Megan you remember when they said they were going to stay out of the spotlight uh yeah right they're traveling to Colombia for what's being called a quasi Royal trip this staining is $3,000 a night now apparently this trip has been a year in the making and the president kindly said after I saw the Netflix special I knew Megan had to come visit and tell her story so clearly she's a generous kind-hearted colia so many problems they're watch the vice president's watching Netflix and saying this documentary is worth having her over what and apparently their goal is to bridge the gap between you know mental health and others and and really promote for example cyber and digital safety but sort of the question remains which you alluded to which is why them and are they really the best ambassadors for that kind of thing I don't know why they're talking about this also good point they lost their latest PR person yes was on only for 3 months okay that says all you need to know um he he probably needs men me that Katy Perry they filmed this on the sand dunes of esal and that apparently they didn't get permission but I don't understand because you can't shoot like a move a video like this without a license right okay so this is actually I think it's an important story because according to the ktie Perry team she said look we were told all the guys have the necessary permits we were told verbally yes it's okay to proceed so my lesson to everyone is don't just rely on the boots on ground you have to make sure that indeed you have the permits do you remember Tokyo Drift that was actually filmed without permits because they knew they could never get the appropriate permits in downtown Tokyo so they were like guys we have 10 minutes to do this before the cops come and you also remember in Australia when then Amber herd and Johnny Depp is the couple they came and brought their dogs they were criminally prosecuted charges eventually dropped but the whole point is know the local rules and be prepared to pay for them very good point okay this is my favorite story of Pop Culture Roundup so Run Clubs apparently now the latest rage are run clubs so jenz is getting off apps thank you thanks for listening to me I've been saying this for years they're getting off the apps these clever genius marketers these four guys said we're going to start run clubs they're popping up all over young people are coming they're doing something healthy and they're meeting other singles this is my favorite story I know I love it too look I only run if I'm being chased however I love that it's healthy I love that it's not centered around alcohol but as someone that hosts the fox drink after they drink after yeah but I host the fox True Crime podcast I carry a taser in my purse at all times and pepper spray so take it from me still don't go home with these people still do your due diligence doesn't matter if you met the guy at the Run Club still be safe ladies that's my my you're all you're ready to be a mom this next door you're going to like Mom sleepover you're next St you're going to like all right this mom um goes to her daughter to move her in as I have done multiple times moving the daughter into into the dorm room my daughter couldn't wait to kick me out this mom stayed the night and had a sleepover what do you make of this okay so the Internet it's breaking the Internet it's breaking the internet and they're divided so half the internet is like do what everyone else does you say goodbye and you cry in the car the other half is like no this is great this is the the epitome of a motherdaughter bond uh at the end of the day I think the closing line in the article was important the daughter said this helped me with my anxiety maybe she has so much anxiety cuz her mom won't let her go maybe but I was also conflicted I wish my daughter would have wanted me to stay that's what made me sad um they wanted me to go but go on like parents night like on on Mom weekend maybe the first night maybe should do a mom sleep overnight so all the moms get to do it all right Emily this was awesome thank you
