yeah and here's my understanding of where this stands Christian mcaffry should be considered a long shot to play this week he's dealing not just with a calf injury which we knew all during training camp but also achilles tendonitis which is a really bad and frustrating injury not something that will knock him out for the season it's not expected to be like that knock on wood but really it's something that just lingers forever and so I understand why Christian mcaffry takes the mentality of I'm just going to go out there and play he also said that last week as did Kyle shanam by the way they all said at the end of the week they expected mcaffry to play he said he hoped he would have his full workload and all that then he get to Monday night and he is not only not having his F workload but not playing Christian mcaffrey always wants to play but really what it's about now is the 49ers going all right you are an excellent running back we'd love to have you out there at every chance we possibly can get the other guy who filled in for you Jordan Mason also has been very good why risk Christian mcaffrey in week two when you could have further injury when you have a guy who is very productive behind him sitting him make sense obviously it's not gonna make Christian mcaffrey happy but that is okay in this situation
