Full PPR Top 50 Overall Rankings - 2024 Fantasy Football

Introduction [Music] greetings and salutations everyone my name is an kof and welcome to my YouTube channel today I'm going to be talking about my top 50 overall ranked players in a full PPR scoring for as we approach our 2024 Fantasy Football Draft I know many of us will be drafting this upcoming weekend so I wanted to go ahead and talk about my top 50 overall ranked players so that you guys have an idea as to how I would Traverse my upcoming drafts whether you're in a 12 team League the first four rounds of your draft or a 10 Team league the first five rounds again all of this for a full PPR scoring fromat we did talk about this subject last week in regards to half PPR so if you do play a half PPR scoring for that you can go ahead and find that video but over the course of this week I've gone ahead and produced my top 50 running back wide receiver rankings of course at a full PPR scoring from that and of course last week we talked about top 32 quarterbacks and top 24 tight end so if you're interested check those out but outside of that let's go ahead and begin by talking about the top 50 overall ranked players when we talk about running backs wide receivers tight ends and quarterbacks in comparison the comparative values the drop off in production and when exactly we want to be investing in the tight end and quarterback positions in comparison to the great running backs and wide receivers that continue to carry our teams every season so of course the S S Tier tier going into a full PPR scoring format consists of Christian mcaffry CD lamb and Tyreek Hill I don't think anybody has any questions regarding that obviously there is The Narrative of a running back in full PPR never being able to repeat back-to-back Seasons as the number one overall ranked running back in fantasy football obviously last season Christian mcaffry finishes number one the expectation is that if this 20-year trend is to continue then Christian mcaffrey won't be at the top of the conversation but the fact of the matter is he is far too valuable not to take at 1.01 same thing with guys like cidd lamb and Tyreek Hill and if you want to take them ahead of Christian mcaffry I have no issue with that primarily because both these guys proved last season that they're incredible players they're getting a high volume of opportunity and each of them averaging over 23 and 1 half fantasy points per game so regardless of which of these three you want to have on roster they're going to give you the best opportunity to win games in 2024 fantasy football now before I move on to course we want to close out the top eight which really does consist of these eight players the top three within the S tier and then Alan Ross Brown followed by Jamar Chase Bree Hall Justin Jefferson and bejan Robinson and if in fact you are worried about Jamar chase the fact that he has obviously not been practicing with the organization primarily because he wants a new contract and they have not rewarded him with one I mean I think his current salary this season is 1 million total which obviously a player of his caliber deserves more money but they're going to continue to argue that back and forth so if you are in fact worried about Jamar chase you can take any of these other players ahead of them and I have no issue with that because they are all capable of you know scoring over 20 plus fantasy points within a full PPR scoring format but regardless of who you choose between these five players they are all going to lead you to success so of course the top eight is as status quo we B Tier continue on to the B tier which we want to talk about players that as you approach the back end of your first round if in fact you weren't lucky enough to get a pick between 1.01 and 1.08 you may believe that you're missing out but quite frankly the players at the back end of the first round and the beginning of the second round are extremely valuable typically what I like to do and I've mentioned this in the past whether it's via live stream or prior videos what I like to do especially in a full PPR scoring format is grab one of the three wide receivers of Puka nakua AJ Brown gett Wilson depending on whatever order you prefer them in in my opinion I have G Wilson at the top of this conversation in a full PPR scoring format take one of them and then follow it up by selecting a running back within the following round whether it does end up being Jonathan Taylor jir Gibbs Etc that is your prerogative as to which running back you prefer but going into this round again there is still a lot of value between picks 9 through 13 which you could take advantage of especially at the wide receiver position pairing them up with a strong RB that also has top five upside within their own given position now as we progress I C-D Tier want to go ahead and bring up both the CT TI and the D tier primarily because both these tiers really do focus on the wide receiver position within these 10 overall selections there are seven wide receivers Devonte Adams Marvin Harrison Mike Evans Drake London Brandon auk Cooper cup and of course Chris olve the question is well Andrew in the second round should I be selecting a wide receiver in doubling up or should I be selecting a running back in balancing My overall lineup I think it depends on how you want to build your team there are multiple circumstances in which you may be playing in a three wide receiver League where you want to go ahead and continue to build wide receiver depth within the beginning of your draft you may be playing in a league in which you can only start two wide receivers on your main starting roster excluding the flex and you may want to go ahead and get that advantage of running back because once it's gone you're not going to have an opportunity of you know going ahead and selecting that within the further rounds So based on the current format that you play in of course it's still going to be a full PPR but based on the roster construction and how many players at which position you can start that will inform you as to how you can potentially navigate your upcoming draft but when we talk about these players again a lot of these players are veterans we're talking about Adams Evans Cooper Cup who have dominated at the position for a very long time and yes there are a lot of young players that are unproven and still many of us may not feel so confident about them like a Marvin Harrison a drake London and a Devon aan but that's the whole point there are some players that are older and have been consistent options every season that we're going to continue to go with and there are some guys that we may want to take the risk on because the risk may be worth the reward if in fact they're able to deliver but the wide receiver position especially within the second round as we approach the third round highly valuable but once we get to E Tier the turn the end of the second round beginning the third round the conversation of tight end and quarterback needs to be implemented especially in a full PPR scoring format as I have Sam leapor sitting in number 24 overall just so that you understand the comparative values when we compare running back wide receiver and tight end last season Sam laporta in a full PPR was the number 26 overall ranked Flex player when you compare those three positions so under the assumption that Sam leaport is going to improve on his overall statistics which I do anticipate that to be the case he could very easily finish far higher than number 24 overall amongst all these players but in this circumstance I've ranked players ahead of him that I truly do believe and I've sted out and projected to score more points than him so number 24 the very end of the second round is not a bad overall position if in fact you want to go ahead and select Sam leaport in a full PPR it is Justified based on his value and the drop off in production within the tight end position of course Sam lorta in a full PPR scoring format could very easily score 50 plus points this season in doing so would be the equivalent of rb8 and wide receiver 12 in terms of total fantasy points scored in a full PPR scoring format so once you go ahead and you establish you have the positional Advantage at you know tight end you have all of the advantages that comes with the tight end position considering the massive drop off in production which is the most amongst all positions within fantasy football the quarterback position the wide receiver in running back position do not experience this as much as tight end considering how few tight ends score a high volume of fantasy points so being able to establish an advantage in this circumstance with Sam lorta I think is incredible for your team especially if you have a Christian mcaffry start you're able to grab Sam leapor on the turn and potentially even get Chris olve there that is an incredible start in my mind if you're able to pair that up now when we talk about other Veteran running backs guys like Josh Jacobs and Derrick Henry we have all heard this offseason The Narrative regarding players that potentially go from one team to another and not find immediate success at the running back position we've seen it year-over-year the running backs who change teams free agency often don't find the similar level of success and there's a lot of running backs that have changed places this offseason besides Jacobs Henry we have guys like Aaron Jones we have guys like Joe Mixon many guys that we will talk about over the course of today's video and will be ranked and are certainly within my top 24 rankings at the running back position but nonetheless when we talk about the full PPR format certainly impacting these two running backs uh not as inclined to potentially get as much receiving work as someone like Travis etn but then we move on to number 27 we have a guy like Josh Allen who who again Begins the positional advantage that could be granted to you if in fact you select them within the third round getting your positional Advantage at quarterback really is Major if in fact Josh Allen is able to produce similar numbers that what he has been able to accomplish in the last four seasons within those Four Seasons being the number one ranked overall quarterback in three of those years being able to score somewhere between 370 to 390 maybe even 400 fantasy points is within the realm of possibility and when we talk about the potential of having a quarter back that is going to score 100 more in comparison to a quarterback who is drafted four rounds later that 100 Point difference is certainly going to be in your advantage and you're going to also get a quarterback that not only is the most consistent in terms of Fantasy Point production over the course of the last three seasons he's never missed the game due to injury and continues to be at the top of this value because of his rushing upside that continues to elevate his game every single year and if they continue to focus on that it's only going to elevate his overall potential so when you have an opportunity of taking a player of that caliber within the third round I also think that is something that you should be looking at and taking advantage of if in fact the first two rounds of your draft have balance and you have it running back in a wide receiver and you're able to be able to live with whatever ends up to you in the fourth round taking a quarterback in the third especially of the caliber of Josh Allen I think is worth it now we bring up guys like Debo Samuel consistency yes has injury history but still can very easily be a 20-point player on a per week basis if healthy and then you have Travis Kelce who I still have in this conversation regarding Sam lorta because I have them ranked back back to back in a full PPR I do prefer leaport primarily because I have him sted out and projected to have more receptions by the end of the year of course the age of loraa definitely does also give him an additional Advantage there but in the in regards to Kelce I have him in this tier because I feel comfortable taking him over any of these other you know potential prospects that's how these tiers work so if in fact you feel comfortable taking you know Travis Kelce within your third round in a full PPR you know don't get it twisted it is a great selection especially if he's able to produce the projected fantasy points that I see him collecting in 2024 now I also want to F Tier continue the conversation of quarterback in regards to Jaylen Herz he's not far behind Josh Allen but I do see a separation between their values if I had to pick one over the other I do prefer Josh Allen but just a couple picks separating the two of them just give you an understanding as to how much I really love to get an advantage at the quarterback position within this third round if possible now if you are able to wait till the fourth round and still get similar value out of these players and get a Jaylen Herz or a Josh Allen congratulations uh you know you're one step closer to winning your Championship now outside of quarterbacks we have guys like Isaiah Pacho guys like KY Williams who recently of course you know there's been some issues regarding Isaiah Pacho you know with Sam perine coming in is that going to certainly impact or cap the ceiling of potential regarding him in the receiving game of the chief's backfield then we have Kiren Williams who's of course now going to be returning punts and I I heard many of you in the comments section talk about hey Andrew he returned punts from weeks one through three of last year my primary issue wasn't the fact that he's going to be returning punts the primary issue is all of the information that followed the you know news break of him returning punts so the Los Angeles Rams have a reporter Jordan Rodriguez if I'm not mistaken that is her name she asked this specific question that led to Shawn McVey answering yes KY Williams is going to be returning punts she had said on multiple occasions this offseason that from what she has seen from practice there is a lot of Blake Corum usage within the first team offense and that is not by accident they drafted him to utilize him now I'm not one of those people that are saying that you know KY Williams is done it's over he's out of the top 12 no that's not even in the realm of possibility he's still going to have value I just rather be safe than sorry in comparison to drafting him at the back end of The First beginning of the second where we used to have him there now we're being a little bit more cautious because again we know with sha mcvey's track record what we saw last season with Cam Acres that debacle that you know transpired that led to KY Williams taking over we just want to be safe now we have guys like DJ Moore niiko Collins other safe selections that are going to be number one receiving options other offenses yes are those offenses filled with other threats absolutely you know DJ Moore has to deal with Kenan Allen Cole KT DeAndre Swift romad dun niik Collins has to deal with doltan Schultz Joe Mixon tank Dell and Stefon digs yet both of them are still the number ones and will continue to be so now let's talk about the G tier again G Tier in this specific tier we have a lot of value especially in regards to running backs that have themselves a high level of potential in terms of getting themselves receiving utilization Rashad white and of course Alvin Kamar could end up being the two running backs that have the most receptions amongst all by the end of the season if in fact Bree Hall doesn't continue to tear within that overall position we have Jaylen W Devonte Smith DK meaf all players who have proven to have top 12 upside at the wide receiver position and can very easily find that within a healthy 2024 season then we have Trey McBride Trey McBride in regards to the comparative values when you go ahead and take the tight end three off of the board someone of his caliber not only is he going to put up 215 to 220 plus fantasy points but when we talk about the comparative values in the drop off in production at tight end in comparison to the wide receiver running back positions that would be remaining on the board if you were not to invest in Rashad white you know potentially Jaylen W within this given round or on this turn I think the value of Trey McBride kind of pays for itself considering the advantage you grab at the tight end position never having to replace him except for the bye-week in which they go ahead and observe now as for the h tier we have H Tier other quarterbacks and potential tight ends we want to talk about guys like Patrick Mahomes of course Mark Andrew Patrick Mahomes has a potential of being the number one overall quarterback in fantasy football now in comparison to Josh Allen and Jaylen Herz I believe that to be a lesser potential primarily because of the lack of rushing upside that he provides in a four-point per passing touchdown format if this was a six-point per passing touchdown format the overall ranking between the three would be far closer than you would probably imagine but in regards to getting still an advantage at quarterback 3 overall someone who is capable of scoring over 350 fantasy points I've mentioned this in the past when we look at 2004 to 2018 there were 16 different quarterbacks in fantasy football who put up over 350 fantasy points from 2019 to 2023 there have been 16 as well so just the last five seasons we have seen just as much highlevel production from the quarterback position in comparison to all the way back to 2004 to 2018 so when I talk about the potential of success from guys like Josh Allen Jaylen Herz Patrick Mahomes the most consistent quarterbacks at the position players who don't miss a high volume of games and are always in the potential running for the number one overall spot of the quarterback position it's an investment we certainly want to make then we have guys like Michael Pitman Jr rashy rice which are again great overall contributors within their offenses James Cook another one of these guys that yes still has value going to get himself receiving utilization not as much touchdown upside but then we have guys like you know Mark Anders when we compare the values of Mark angre and James Cook Mark Andrews last season scored a little bit less on a per game average about 14.6 in comparison to James Cook's 15.1 once in fact James Cook had an offensive coordinator change but going into this upcoming year the comparative value if in fact you want the advantage at tight end in comparison to running back depending on what you have gone ahead and set up your roster with let's say for example you started your roster with you know triple wide receiver to begin with it's a three wide receiver league and you're in the fourth round and you're looking hey you know what maybe I need this running back let me take James Cook fantastic but if you have already gone ahead and addressed running back let's say you go running back wide receiver wide receiver and in the fourth you're looking at the potential of taking a tight end I think Mark Andrew certainly does deliver a similar volume of points and also gets the additional value considering the tight end position runs out very quickly of top performers then we close out the top 50 I Tier with guys like Lamar Jax ston dicks Malik neighbors Dalton King Kade and Joe Mixon Joe Mixon sits at the end of this conversation primarily because I didn't want to put T Higgins there t Higgins injury history little bit sketchy but when we talk about Joe Mixon again a reliable running back someone that is going to be a three down player and quite frankly is going to be able to have full reign in this backfield when you have guys like cam acres and Damen Pierce as his backups you have a guy like dton k k like we've talked about with Mark Andrews Trey McBride Travis Kelce Sam leapor it doesn't matter the advantage that you're able to get especially with dton Kade who I project out to have himself over 90 receptions this year in a full PPR the value there is far too good to pass up on then we have a wide receiver who is a former Bill who's obviously had himself over 100 plus receptions over the last couple years hopefully some of those receptions go to concade but in Stefon digs who again consistent value we have Malik neighbors a little bit sketchier but then we have Lamar Jackson again little bit further behind in terms of value in my mind in comparison to Patrick Mahomes especially in a draft if you're sitting at the back end of the fourth round and it's about to lip into the fifth you can wait if you like the potential other quarterbacks available whether it is strad or Richardson but in my mind if I'm able to still get the advantage of you know Lamar Jackson on the turn here and then address one of the following positions of need going forward whether it does end up being running back wide receiver or tight end I don't mind taking the advantage because there is still a huge drop off when we talk about quarterback four in comparison to quarterback five six seven there's like a 30 40 Point drop off especially when we're talking about a Lamar Jackson who could meet potential of being the number one overall player at the position which he has done in the past when you have the you know potential capabilities of that it makes the pick that much easier to make especially guys like Mark angel in which I talked about him just moments ago he's been a former number one overall tight end just a couple years back 2021 last season amongst all players he was number one in terms of fantasy points per game at the tight end position when healthy so again with opportunity these guys can get back into the conversation that's why we want to take them this early in our draft because again they have the positional advantage and they have the opportunity of being number one of their
