um I I'll transition to something that's a little bit more somber um recently two years ago um we lost a good friend and Mary and Barbara um and you know a lot of people know Marian as the Barbarian and they know him as the football player and this and this just rough and tough right football player but that's not who Marian is n that's not who like if if you if you know NB you knew that like I always tell people like when you hear the term of giving the shirt off your back that's literally him like I've seen him give the you know just just kind of just give the people of you know briefly just especially the youth especially the youth man he was uh he was very big whenever I had my camps I mean he was the first one there yeah you know what I'm saying he was he was always looking forward to doing that uh and it was funny you know what I'm saying when I had my uh Youth Organization that I used to sponsoring everything I mean it was every year for to Mar yep and he became part of my crew right in a sense man all my boys like the ones I grew up with and everything and stuff like that they were like dude he cool as hell yeah ID be like yeah man he just I said he he wild a little bit at time I said but he's just marrying though dude I said and once you meet his you once you meet his mom and dad and his brothers you see how it is mom is the gentle soul yep his dad you can tell was the wild that's what Mar gets a little bit of but the gentle soul you see you you meet his mom and you understand like that's exactly where he gets it from I I remember a time when we went to after the season we went to Vegas and it was and I remember like cuz the season was over uh my birthday is in January and I remember Maran telling me and he said just get there yeah just get there and I said no I'm you know cuz at that time like this where we're all men and we're like what you mean just get there like I I I'll come right right you're still like but Mar's like nah just get there yeah and I'm like all right and I remember me and get we'll get the rooms C so I get there when we get there you were already there mhm when we get there me it's me Manny TC um somebody else there's a limo waiting Force yeah the airport we go um we get to the bagio bagio we always said the bagio we get bagio meet Mary and there he like all right come on Bo like hey you and Manny in this room so now I'm thinking to myself like I ain't trying to be like right next to to to to to man like I can afford to till you sa the room till you get to the room yeah absolutely and I said oh no this is yeah Manny way over there yeah absolutely two bedroom condo B what it was basically what it was it was two-bedroom condo and I and I remember I I remember you know going out having a good time and man like to play backa Rock bro look here man man you you want the backck story bro which one cuz I was there t night he won a half a million dollar the 475 there we go let's tell the back story and so we're we're sitting at the they Blasio has that that private room the the prev yes yes and so whenever we go we we started getting connected with them we go with Bob Bob LV yep and so Bob would always set it up we could play all the table we want and B and bet whatever we wanted to bet was no table maximum minimum whatever we wanted to be we could be there and so he would reserve and stuff and have it for us and and we know we coming in another gamble we going to play and Mar went having his luck at Blackjack that day yeah he like man forget this I'm G to go over here and you w know if you remember Chris the the shorter blonde lady who was a Cowboys fan yes she was our host all the time yep and she was like here I'mma show you how to play Black Rack he was like all right might as well this ain't doing nothing he looks at the dealer man you ain't you took my money and so we he leaves and somehow like the table turns around and we start hitting and hitting and hitting I was like hell yeah he's gone about 345 minutes bro he comes back and it's in the middle of one of our deals and he just pulls these red chips out and drops them on the table yep I like man in the middle of the game I said is that a $25,000 P what you do he said 475 dog I said what the hell you was playing he was like bakarat Chris showed me how the dog was like man I'm F to get ready to go over here and play me some B right here in the second in God dang I mean I was like Wow next thing he said tonight's on me I said I don't know if I want to go I don't I really don't know if I want to go cuz this is he all right I'mma order two bottles I'm not I don't I don't I don't I can't consume that much sir I'm not going to do it it was my birthday weekend and I don't you know I don't drink hard alcohol so he's like well you going to have champagne I'm like hey he like you going to have champagne she like what champagne you want so I'm like um uh moette he grabs like he calls away like grabs and he says you listen here he said it's his birthday he says if if his bottle get halfway empty you bring him bring another one bring him another one now mind you I'm not a drinker so I'm I have this bottle and I'm basically like kind of like putting it to my lips and just trying to she just keep I I'm like bring me glasses I'm pouring Champaign for just other people AB randoms random people got get rid of and that was probably one of the Gotta Get r now did you I think you left when we left because remember Marian and Phoenix I think they stayed yeah maybe maybe to show I threw up behind the couch yeah but you sure the hell did I threw it behind the couch you did you like PC dude I just had to let it go man you did what you're like man in the corner back here hey you doing up people establishment man and bring your ass on man it the best God dang bro it it was the best thing that ever happened to me I don't think you ever heard what happened the next morning no I didn't so I get down there and I think I was the first one down there back in the prev and Jeff Smith who was our our host uhuh he goes man you guys had a good night last night huh I said you know what J said it was a fun night man he's like yeah I saw the tab I was like that was marrying nude I went straight in the snitch M I said that was Mar dude you know he want all that money back Rock I said that was marry he goes well I said well how how big of the tab was it man he's like oh miss it's quite a bit Miss quite a bit I said 30 35 up no you're not even close I'm not close 50 55 he goes keep going damn 60 65 keep going 70 remember I'm sitting there chard um we're other we're playing and I'm I hit like six hands in a row now I'm not I'm not big runny rolling I'm I'm $50 a hands I'm up a couple1 right and I never seen nothing like this before in my life and it damn it scared me and I'm not going to lie cuz Roy's at the table now you know they love Roy they love cuz Roy was he was there to get a marker too so Roy's down 125 Grand yeah he don't care let me get another marker and he goes give me a marker for 125 yeah that's Roy I watch Roy lose 125,000 get a marker for 125,000 yeah win the 125 back yeah pay back the marker yeah so I'm sitting there and I win about five six seven hands in a row I'm up a couple hundred dollars and so you know if if you walk in there and you see somebody hot you don't sit down you take your Chips you move around and you put them on top of their so I'm so I'm sitting there and I got you know I'm I'm $3 $400 on the table Yeah and over my shoulder Here Comes $20,000 and I look dealer dealer cards I look and it's Roy so I picked the cards up and I I looked at Roy I said what we going to do he told me something man play the goddamn I said brother you put $2 some th000 out here you felt some pressure didn't we it's a we thing now what are we going to do and and and they end up you know and but I say all that to say like that that was Maran and you know it was yeah it was it was tragic to see how life turned for the worst for him because you know he got to a place where he really couldn't trust anybody oh and things got out of hand and and and and we lost him we tragically lost uh Maran but he was he was one of those spirits and those people that you just you wish you wish you still he still I remember he was you know cuz he was here when my my oldest son was bornn uh so we was playing together and he used to be like oh man your son and everything and it it it almost it brought me more joy to see Mary have so much joy seeing my son my son be like Mary and Bara right I be like yeah man go go go say hi to Mar he would come by the house and I remember when he got his old school done I think it was clean super clean but Mar put a boat engine in it and when he did it dude I was like dude why the hell is so loud bro put that boat engine in there dude even hor I said that boat engine ain't supposed to come out the water man it's not made for this it's a whole different type of thing with a last long he burnt that thing up that's what you have too much money man he burnt that D but he came he came to the house when he when he got it done dude and we we had people at the house he like dog let go around the block I ain't scar been so scared he lives in the Gated Community with a bunch of people that don't look like Ain never been so scared in my
