and it's really all Cowboys right now now Aubry will kick it off try on the return to D up to the 25 where the start on offense and look for the Browns a couple years ago they made the trade they signed to Shawn Watson to the richest deal in league history at the time passing in Houston Tom so you're three I think Browns thinking what what's going on here right they're looking for the old Deshawn Watson yeah I guess the question would be is he still in there here's a one game two four the record's been good it's just to play his 13th game in three years there's just a lot of things and a lot of questions to answer and and today there's been a lot of short passes the tackles have been out I always see these things as what this entire offense is doing but they do need it Step Up make throws here's Watson looking to make a throw he's going to take a shot going deep into double coverage and it's incomplete just try to make something happened but Trayvon Diggs was all over Cooper yeah that's a good look an opportunity there where they're saying all right we got to at least take some chances and I know going into this game if I'm Cleveland's coordinator and play caller fan come think and we got to get him comfortable let's get some short throws some completions get his confidence up the problem is now you're down 24 points now it just becomes a passon and you turns into a passon against one of the best rushes and the one of the best pressure teams with Parsons Lawrence and this blitz package now you got six guys up there you're dealing with Parsons there's a lot to handle delay game and see if they got the timeout for the delay I think they did [Music] [Applause] s to3 Cleveland did get that timeout in and I think there's one thing I want to see here in this second half is I want to see these guys still bring some juice and energy in Cleveland I don't know if they can make it all the way back but I want to see some good solid execution eliminate some of the penalties try to build something as this half goes third and six and that's a start conversion Jerry Judy has a catch and kind of get a sarcastic cheer that's their longest play of the day and it converts the first down 15 yds to Judy this is just throwing in Rhythm and you have a soft Corner out here on Carson you signed Judy to a big contract this off season and that's a good throwing catch puts the ball right on the outside pad of the receiver on an outbreaking route I like that throw he can make those throws it's just the consistency and when you start hitting those more often coach wants to call him more often [Applause] too Watson out of fake steps away from pressure there's a lot of it and he's tripped up and gets back right around the line of scrimmage oh this Dallas defense specifically Michael Parsons has just wrecked the plan that's you feel that as a quarterback you know the timing's off there Watson the middle and it's caught by nooku makes a nice catch and gets hit but stays with it down inside the 30 he go so finally a little life from the brown on offense in a 29 yd [Applause] [Music] gain again I think you can learn so much about your team in situations like this where you just start the season with a lot of Hope and you go out there in the first half and you don't play great hey what are we going to do here in the second half we going to lay down or we going to go out there and fight that's what I want to see from Cleveland Watson again fires over the middle decisively get it uh there for a completion aens that time the backup tight end and he's going to pick up six getting to the tight ends a pretty good plan we saw new joku he had a career year last year first pro bow at 882 yards but a lot of that came with Joe Flo and the joke into the T sorry Tom D you got a fan protection so you have an open edge here with Parsons he's going to have to get rid of it [Applause] quick second and four does get rid of it quick comes underneath to Elijah Moore that's good for a first down just that up and under that's the easiest way to get to the middle of the pocket and got to defend the middle of the pocket if you're the tackle at least make him go around the long way but Watson feels it and I like how he steps into that throw drives he's got great arm strength and again in shoulder surgery in the off season how's it going to look he's got the velocity now it's just got to make those quick reads especially against a defense that has the pressure rates that Dallas has first down Watson going end zone looking for Judy it's way over thrown good coverage Anyway by Trayvon Diggs who by the way the Cowboys are thrilled to have back out the final 15 games last year Tor in ACL you know the problem is they're trying to get Diggs and Don on the same page they're like the interception return for Touchdown brothers and Bland who set a record last year he's out for a while with a foot injury but yeah at least they get digs back and seen him make a couple nice plays in coverage today playing for Mike Zimmer who in his first year as Cowboys coordinator but not his first year in Dallas coached here for 13 years before on a Super Bowl in that time and back in Big D second and 10 Blitz is coming Watson this time going for the other side of the end zone Cooper well covered again that time it's the rookie [Applause] Carson just too much and not much there no real Separation on that it's just doesn't see a clean throw so you put the ball out of the end zone you would like to give Cooper an opportunity to jump up and catch it I had a few coaches who always like me to give the receivers a chance on some of those deep balls and I throw them out of the end zone they say at least give us a chance well sign of their offense Amar Cooper only's got one catch today third and 10 here Blitz again quick throw over the middle strike This Time by Watson and it's going to be close it looks to be enough for a first time that is Cooper his second catch see where the spot is and yep first down first and goal good throw by Watson they get up to the line quickly fast probably a run no F pressure though on Watson's face and just throws it away Mara nean the rookie had the pressure there now wait a second did they not give them a first down I thought the signal was for first down I did too play yardage gains was enough for a first down it was first and goal at that point I was going to say second down and goal these the teams you know the Cowboys offense came on the field Mike I was like wait a second I thought they signal first down there right yeah C blman clearly did signal first down so then replay and the assist from New York says basically they did make the first down which they all right did Mike just making sure we're not hallucinating here cuz Kevin stansky was saying hold on a second that was not fourth down now I'll go back try it again it is second and [Applause] goal that was really bizarre well that is really not great news just talked about how good nooku was last year and on that catch he took a hit from hooker got checked out in the blue T and now he's going back for more evaluation [Applause] all right so they get the right teams on the field now I [Applause] think I don't think I've ever seen that yeah that [Applause] was be quy pretty confused myself up here looking going what happened you know you know it's like one of those things if you you know if you if you believe what you're doing it look like you know what you're doing you just you walk into a situation maybe that was the idea you know we're going to throw the offense on the field and maybe people will just believe that was fourth down that's what Mike McCarthy is saying right nowy was saying no I'm not having that he couldn't the season so every once in a while you sneak up in this situation where you get confused on the field also but it ends up right so a lot of Kinks to work out is what you're saying guess what you know what we're back where we should be 12th play of the drive for the Browns second and goal and it's Watson quick throw looking outside it is caught touchdown Jerry Judy [Applause] well that's what they're going to need Judy to step up and produce a really good route Runner he's been since coming in the league and going on the rookie Carson Deshawn throws a strike to the front pylon and that's the way to answer that gives you some confidence hey coach we can throw the ball let's open it up a little bit let's see what I can do he's going to the sideline try to get a little confidence a little pep in their step good drive by the Browns first touchdown as a brown for Judy the former Bronco extra point is up and good and finally the Browns have a little something they had last drive after being silent the entire game down the field they go desun Watson look crisp Jerry Judy his first touchdown and now 17-point game and a long way to go here 842 to go in the third quarter and the C boys will take it from the 30 well you look about the Rock and Roll history in this town and look they get rocking as his number one defense see if they get some life from the offense yeah we here's Prescott looking at quieter going deep down The Far Side to Cooks and it's incomplete we've got another game break what's going on Carissa Thompson welcome touchdown what's going on know I love those two guys those guys brought so much joy to me in Tampa and I love playing with both those guys those guys are warriors Champions and always good to see those guys play well here is lamb a little Jet Sweep and upended nicely by Juan Thornhill and Lamb's only going to pick up about two and a half and it'll be a third down and long I like seeing that energy by Cleveland's defense you know you get a score by the offense and I could just see a little more ramped up out there got the crowd noise a little bit got Garrett here on the bottom of the screen back on the right side see if he can create some pressure backs over there they chip them Prescot quick throw over the middle in complete knocked away nicely Greg knew some excellent coverage on lamb coach SZ is not afraid to play Man coverage and whether it's CD lamb or anyone else really a nice play by Nome just a little angle Ram route we used to call that could have been a better throw by Dak but good stop by Cleveland and again I like to see the fight it's what football early season football is all about you're trying to learn about your team good stop here's anger's punt short Garden makes a man miss and and another Gard had a couple nice returns today gets him up to the 35 there's a penalty though 45 so let's see what this is well so the Browns without David nooku now as we showed you going back into the locker room but they have a little a little smidge in of momentum here defense gets a stand they're coming off a touchdown Drive see if they got more of it and how are they going to continue to mix these play calls because again they are going to have to throw it and there's plenty of time left in this game just the margin of air is Slim got to eliminate the penalties they're going to need a little bit from the Run game you'd love to see him string together another drive here during the kick holding receiving team number 54 10 yds from the end of the from the spot of the catch first down Cleveland well it's another penalty on Cleveland the concern ankle injury questionable to return certainly the Browns need every offensive weapon they can use and try to get back in this one and continue their momentum K yeah pro ball tight end a joku let him in receptions last year that's a problem here's Watson looking to build on that momentum lets it Fly for Cooper but miss communication but there is a flag oh as involved he's been quiet only two catches for 16 yards and they're going to need him without nooku no doubt seen some of those throws go over at the rookie Carson too so they're doing a good job finding him looks safety leaning that [Applause] side fake to Foreman who's in the game for the first time Watson loading up going deep again Judy is nowhere near close out of bounds and digs on the [Applause] coverage trying to take some shots down the field but I don't know if I take shots on Travon digs that's the one guy if it is one-on-one I'm going to the other side I'm not going into the teeth I'd rather go at the rookie than at the veteran Corner who's had a lot of experience and he's going to play one of the better routes he plays those deep go balls so see the Browns they had done virtually nothing until the last drive when they went 75 yds down the field yeah you got to gain something here on second down or you're in another third and long Watson just going to dump it off to four he's got a good rock out there from aens and even better that time from Lewis it looked like he would have a pass to the first down but Jordan Lewis played it really well nickel back for these Cowboys again and with the loss of bland he's really stepped into the spotlight again he had a great training camp coach McCarthy was really pleased and he's been a good player since he came into league so feisty competitive of course he's a wolverine so it's kind of what we do for Michigan here we go sure they love that here in Ohio tough match up for the center here third third down penalty flies Watson in deep trouble and he is sacked Eric Kendricks already has an interception in this game he gets home with the sack of it [Applause] stands illegal formation offense left tackle was uncovered that pen declined brings up fourth down so Eric Kendricks has an interception and now a sack and a half in his Cowboys debut playing for his former head coach and Mike Zimmer productive day for him man yeah bring him in [Applause] interception Kendrick's drafted by Zimmer when they were in Minnesota a lot of connection there but vquez lets loose a rocket of a punt Turpin has got the punt return earlier there's a penalty on the play Turpin out across the 40 and this looks like it'll be coming back [Music] well this will be on the Cowboys as and move them on back during the kick holding receiving team number 29 the 10yd penalty first down [Applause] Dallas dropped for another sack on that last possession so it's a Cowboys up 17 here in this third [Music] quarter and here's Prescott back to throw it pressured Out Underneath it's Jake Ferguson who makes the catch but only's going to pick up two there Jordan Hicks with a nice tackle and now Ferguson slow to get up boy he was our second leading receiver last year behind lamb just kind of came down awkwardly there really awkward trying to get through that tackle gosh he was so good in his second year just exploded made the Pro Bowl 71 catch five touchdowns and Dak Prescott really trusted him quite a bit and just like Cleveland will lost their tight end weapon now it's Ferguson concern for him I've had so many great years with my tight ends and it's just a safety blanket for the quarterback and when you have that position that's dominant and can beat matchups doesn't require too much time to get the tight end of the ball they have great rout trees and the size of a guy like Ferguson the size of nooku gives both those quarterbacks a good fast option that can produce so tough to see both those guys go out for now BL coming hand off to Elliot and he's just got nowhere to run rounds PR it well luu Cora in on the tackle now another third down and long coming [Music] [Applause] Blitz coming Prescott sees and throws underneath and it's short and it's incomplete new there wouldn't have made it anyway as lamb the intended receiver and the Browns defense stepping up and they'll get it back good coverage and and that's what you want from your number one rank defense got a little momentum when Cleveland scored got the stop punted back Cleveland didn't do anything they pinned him back good complimentary football there see if they can get a return to give him a little field position Dallas offensively hasn't done much in this quarter it's been the punt return that's been it now it's D oh couldn't move Jaylen D and tiptoes his way up to the 45 as we take this look back 30
