on this Sunday your national anthem your beautiful pictures and Lisa booth and Joey Jones sitting in with us this morning on Fox and Friends Weekend what's up I was singing along but it's probably better that no one heard me she uh she did a good job she as good a job as you could expect from Lisa um listen it's the last day of this long holiday for a lot of people I'm glad a lot of you are up this morning and spend it with us so I'm excited to go home tomorrow and start mine start your vacation but uh but it's been great to see folks celebrating the Fourth of July showing their P patriotism and getting a long weekend here with such big new absolutely that was and you get to hang out with us yeah that was about a minute be more excited a minute 15 rendition of the national anthem I've been thinking I need to pay attention to how long the national anthem is what what do you think the longest version of the national anthem is that we might play or just I I've never put an over under on it in the past we played this game do you remember on uh the big weekend show we did we were trying to decide it was a trivia question on uh how long the national anthem would be I think it was re McIntyre for the Super Bowl um I would say like Hendrick maybe like those guitar solos to like two minutes yeah Ted nent does one I've seen him do it that is long because they I mean they just riff while they're in there you know yeah although that's kind of fun I mean that's an appropriate song to I'm going to start paying attention Okay yeah all right we're going to pay attention to the news we're going to start here this morning President Biden is set to visit his home state of Pennsylvania today he's looking to gain Tommy lren on the implications for journalism and the scrutiny over the media's coverage of B continues the way the media treated it before this moment right so what do it revealed to you um I mean in in the mafia I think they they ter they've got a hit out on somebody I mean is this the media they've got a hit out now on Joe Biden like why now what does it tell you they're willing to tell the truth we were talking about this last night on I believe the New York Post it says while interview ho like it's just standard operating procedure but obviously that's not the case Tom you're big on California and Governor Gavin Nome he is um standing by Joe Biden he's being asked allegedly well he's not standing by he is standing by on the ready and waiting is what he's doing so there's a double meaning to that I know you know baseball Tommy it's like a relief pitcher who doesn't wait in the bullpen he's right there on next to the mound yeah he's ready for the call on this so I think you and I disagree on this a little bit I don't think it's Gavin Newsome even if Joe Biden removes himself from the race I think they don't have a choice but to go to cala if Gavin Nome is as you think Joe Biden did tell us that he was the first black president and that interview well there's a lot of things going on there he said a lot of things he said a lot of things that that I I noticed that too Tommy that he I found his lack of an endorsement of comml Harris in any way actually notable um it's one thing to stand by Joe Biden it's another thing not to stand by kamla Harris right and so I I do think if it was thrown to an open convention Gavin would be right in the middle of it remember when he visited uh Joe Biden was overseas and Gavin Nome was at the White House do looking at the decor I'm glad Haven placed a wager with you yet so I think it's fair to say he's at least measure the drapes yes Tom we we'll continue to debate this on the big weekend show thank tomm yeah thanks Tommy all right turning now to your headlines Minnesota
