return guest last time she was on it was a zoom but this is the first time in person I'm so excited to bring back star of real houses of Beverly Hills Sutton just one word Sutton you're a fashionista you have your own store how are you Southern bell bellarina there so many things that you are and the word Southern bell is so funny it sounds antiquated doesn't it but people like to label so it's fine you know I'll call myself a Southern bell because I've never forgotten my roots yeah you know I I I will forever be Southern I love it I love a Southern bell yeah um so I'm really excited that you're here so I I know I am so excited to be here in person it's not pandemic that I I cannot believe that it's been that long since I mean I've seen you you've come to like store events and stuff like you're so great to be supportive like that but that's the first time we met was on a laptop yes my first season on Real Housewives which I always kind of like getting someone their first season to kind of get the whole backstory and that's when I was like right oh I didn't know that you studied ballet I didn't know that then you know like your whole your whole backstory CU I feel like definitely it's hard to get that you know and the when you're just joining the cast and everything so so now this is what what this next season will be like your fifth season it's my fifth season yeah and I mean like in general like here you are here's the latest cast yeah so we have your friend Jennifer Tilly is going to be quote unquote a friend of the show we've seen her a bunch at events and you guys going to like DOL and gabana and laughing and having fun yeah of course she's a huge uh hilarious actress yeah she's a great actress and then we have this other new girl on the end what is her name Bose Bose and then everybody else it's darit garcel Kyle ER Jane you and then Kathy Hilton as like a friend too yeah and I mean I can't wait Beverly Hills never disappoints never disappoint it's a really good season um we had a lot of fun yeah and um which I think in the I was like you know doing five years yeah the first three I was like is this how it is because it was a bit dark for a while well yeah because you had the Eric Jane stuff that all Denise we had Erica Jane we had everybody piling on Sutton so finally so wait the first season of Denise was that when the rumors were going that she and Brandy had had a little fun in Canada while filming a HMK Hallmark movie yeah I guess so and I was like okay and I was very quiet my first season yeah because Jennifer and I were talking about this last night at dinner because Jennifer you know she's she's she's a big fan so she came in thinking oh I know exactly what's going to happen she had no idea she goes nothing can prepare you for doing this show um and she said you know I come in as an actress like oh look at me look at me you know and nobody's looking at me and and I said well imagine coming in as a normal person and you know you have all of these women who are actresses or models whatever they are and or they'd been on the show for years I they're like who is that you didn't pay attention to me and so I just sat back and watched and then all of this stuff about threes Sims is flying around and I just thought um what what what's going on and why are we yelling at the table and you know you don't know where to sit and then I was like the place cards are very important ladies let's you know because you never know where to sit right or who to sit with and Jennifer felt the same way going in so it was funny is talking about that but yeah that first season was crazy Rome was wild um and like our reunion was crazy because we did it did you say Rome oh did we went to Rome this season so we haven't seen no my first season with with Denise oh that's right it was Rome it was Rome and then our reunion was on laptops and you and Denise is throwing papers around I don't know what was happening I'm like what are what is this show so it's just funny to have a friend now do it with me yeah to to hear her side I'm like oh yeah that happened to me too I remember those feelings so with that how did that really come about so you you know in they got to know your life they got to know okay we've got this this woman Sutton she's divorced these are her kids and we don't we didn't see your kids because I guess that was an agreement between you and your ex-husband that they not be on camera he was not going to sign the the waiver to let the children be film and now that they're almost of all of age we got to see your daughter that looks like just like you but with brown hair she's very cute we got to see her a little bit last season how do you feel about that now do you feel like maybe in the end that was the right decision because who cares they can be on it if they want to now well I think even um you know five years ago they would have said I don't want to do it I mean I can't force my children to do anything well they wouldn't have wanted to do it cuz sometimes I hear from Housewives Tamara Berney judge of uh OC she always had an issue with her ex Simon not allowing the kids to be on camera and she said her youngest very much wanted to do it now we see the youngest Sophia I personally think um and I know Brandy Glenville always wanted her boys to be seen But Eddie cbon said no I'm like I always think that's like the gift that even if you didn't want it yeah who can't like why so what why do we need to see you at 13 I think for me I have always I let my children kind of um guide their own lives and they know what's right and what's wrong and what's right for them I think they would have said I don't want to do this I you know um and that would have been an e easy decision for them I don't want to take decisions decis decision making away from my children yeah so I I didn't really enjoy that that was like adamant um you know once I turned 18 then there was the the conversation will you do this scene with me and you know my daughter Porter is very shy she didn't want to do it and I said you know I think it might be fun and so we will forever more have the first scene that I did with her was with um Lisa Rena and I think we talked about um the sorority thing yeah she it was her first year of college and um so we'll always have that and then when my son turned 18 I had moved into my new house and we made chicken salad together and like I will always have that and um you know like that moment on film and time yeah I do think that's a lovely part about being on a reality show is just having that forever providing it's wasn't a horrific experience for anybody providing it wasn't like a kid crying or acting like a total brat and now they're embarrassed by it like I think people don't think enough about that putting their younger kids on the show yeah that there is this time your life when your brain isn't fully formed and maybe you're being disrespectful or rude and it gets played for the next 20 years and people remember that Gina Kino's son was horrible and rude to her when she went V when she unexpectedly visited him at a baseball game and she told me like she's an original real housewi that that was a really hard thing for him for the years to come now he's married and I think a father but you know he just was being a young jerk and he probably wasn't he probably had she just come alone he wouldn't have acted like that it's that she surprised him with cameras yeah well and also I think as a parent you have to be smart about your choices and and the um predicament that you put your children in uh so you know for me I've had some really nice moments so far with my two oldest children and uh it's kind of fun to watch my middle son I've filmed with him like twice now and now this season I've filmed with him and you know he you know it's going to be fun to watch those scenes I I I like them and I think later they they're going to get to watch them and be like this is so great that we got to do this together yeah oh I think that's really cool um well of course we're not going to do any spoilers we're excited to see the show I don't want to get you in trouble no I won't get in TR I don't get myself in trouble okay um so I want to talk about this because this has caused some controversy are you aware of it yeah well I saw I I was with Let Me Explain first to so of course this week is Fashion Week in New York and a lot of stars a lot of reality stars are enjoying the fashion shows and Kathy Hilton was there with her two daughters Nikki and Paris and Tiffany Hatter the comedian was next to them and it all got caught on um film where Kathy is like you should go and walk the runway and it was not like a runway on a thing it was like you step right out and that's the runway so it was a little bit different than like getting out of your seat and stepping up on a stage but still go and walk the runway and she's wearing just like a cool like green pants suit Tiffany and she's like do it do it do it now and she does it and the crowd seems to be happy I don't know that the designer was sad I think if anything he's thrilled it brought attention to his line or her line but it was interesting because I started to see all these Tik toks and stuff okay of how people were reacting in a certain way of like it was almost like uh the girls were kind of bullying Tiffany to do this like a dare and and it's almost like it was reminding people of like you're the new girl at school uh and it's like mean girls and they're getting to go do something and you shouldn't have done it because it does kind of take away from the designers and the fashion and I personally think Tiffany is a good girl she's a nice person I don't think anybody I don't think she thought through like this isn't my moment to take right and I should tell them not to I think she was just in the moment having fun right you know but I can see all the different um points of view when you watch it like that right I well I've seen I I've seen parts of it um you know Kathy is a jokester and she loves that I I have heard and I I don't know for sure but I've heard that um Nikki and Paris are friends with the designer and I was supposed to be at this show and didn't make it it poured down rain that day in New York oh okay um and you know I think one if if Kathy was baiting a little bit Tiffany has her own again going back to like the conversation about my children you can make up your own mind whether you want to do it or not you know you don't have to do anything you know Kathy's not a a mastermind that is controlling people you know but I think Kathy was probably just trying to have a little bit of fun and Dy probably just said okay let's have some fun yes um that's what I think if I had been the designer I probably would you know it's so hard because you spend so much time and money on these shows and um being reverent at as a spectator I think is important um because what if just a regular person had decided to do that what would the response have been good point to that person I guess that's maybe a better question yeah the privilege of just being like Oh I'm a star and it's fine and won't it be funny and it's like what about the models what about everybody that put the show together right now the after it is it's publicity it's all good but I do respect people seeing it and being like you know this is why sometimes you just have to think and everything's filmed every move you make right whether you want to be a little annoyed at someone at Starbucks or not it's like you go outside of your home and celebrity or not you really have to be very conscious of how you behave every person it's so true you can't like complain at the grocery store line anymore if you're celebrity like you cannot do anything you've got to be very careful and mindful of your actions um which actually kind of is a good thing because you're like keep sh your toes yes um I don't know I I'm I'm leaving for Milan on Tuesday and you know the the idea of me getting up and um walking a Runway without the models I don't know I wouldn't I would never do that but Tiffany is a a huge star and she's a huge star but also she's also a comedian and she's funny and people love her I mean as a comedian if I was in that position I would hope that I would go no Kathy stop it I would hope that I would do that but I can't 100% say that I wouldn't take that fun moment to to be like and like I'd probably overly do the the modeling like do the face and I'd probably do it like very Zoolander and I would probably think it was great and then a couple hours later I would see all these Tik toks about like how could you do that you're such an [ __ ] Heather McDonald or or you're the girl that just wants to be in with the popular people and you're not from Beverly Hills you're from the valley and like I could see that happening so I I can totally see why in the moment and someone who's I've only attended one Real Fashion Show in my whole life right one or two like one was the where everyone wore when everyone wears red that charity that I got to go to that one years ago in New York that's the only New York Fashion Show I've ever been to and one that was for Gucci on the um they shut down Hollywood Boulevard like two years ago those are the only two like real fashion all the rest of them were like National charity league and you know Valley Debs and like where we' put on our Gucci show was a hot ticket yeah that was really cool but those are the only ones I've been to that are like you put on your own fashion show for you know your high school or whatever right that's it so you know and I don't obviously Tiffany was not raised going to fashion shows so I think that's what the conversation started but it is interesting because wasn't there something that I also saw in the news where Kathy did somehow get on stage of another fashion show mine oh that was yours well she she was Kathy I swear that woman I love her so much that it's just hard to be mad at her at anything she had come I you know I had like a small you know I'm not the designer I have um it's Sutton green label and so what we do we're a circular fashion company and so we take um clothes that are going to go into the landfills and we remanufacture them with my label oh awesome and it's amazing and it helps the environment and it helps everybody and um it's been such a fun project of mine so we did a fashion show and Kathy came back Ag and she went kind of the wrong way and ended up like walking out right when the music started when the show was starting oh okay finding her seat and um my sweet god daughter who's an amazing model whiz came coming out and she is like one of those models that she's like six feet tall and she blasts her and there's Kathy finding her seting with was very gentle and graceful just kind of patted her on the back you know find your seat lady yeah and so you know Kathy didn't she did it then and now here she is at it again I think I don't know I mean we're all nobody wants to see her leave the show she is entertaining whether it's not totally I mean come on the hunky dory I don't believe that she does never heard of hunky dory but it did lighten up your moment well she was trying to lighten me up because I was so upset and she said s that was the ugly pants what am I jealous of your ugly pants to Crystal who's now your friend yeah yeah Crystal called you jealous and you said of what your ugly mother seriously I was like of what but I will say this if if I I'm in good company yeah if if suton green label is in the same company of and the way he wrote it was very interesting he wrote I have fathered a child outside of my marriage I plan on being a a a present father to this little baby girl and working on my marriage and getting the trust back from my wife and children be respectful of all the children involved well I am not the woman that had the baby much as I would like to have you can still love him I just found this first of all he is so so well-liked oh he's because he's so well-liked and part of what made him well-liked I've got personal juicy scoop okay okay so when I really like this is like throwing me for a loop here because it's okay he's one of my crushes I love him L listen a lot of rock stars have you know babies out of and they they L of men have babies everywhere that we don't know LI or they say it's not mine and then the girl is forced to get a DNA test and beg for child support so I'm just saying he's doing the right thing and saying being the gentleman you know it's I'm not gonna you know dishonor this child who's clearly mine now we don't know how old the child is we don't know if if it was being hidden for a while and then it came to lawyers and everything and they're like you got to come forth and maybe she knew we don't know the back story of them staying as a couple her accepting that he's had a child out of wedlock whatever I mean good thing there's water in here yeah so everyone loves Dave girl as a person he's funny and a great musician and everything so when I was on Chelsea Lately we um there was we would have guest hosts and I wrote and produced and worked on that show as well as appeared on it so they were like we love Dave gr so much we're g to give him the whole week that Chelsea has off so he did an entire week of shows and the staff just loved him now that week I happened to be in New York because I had my second book coming out and I was like oh I'm so bummed I'm missing this fun week with Dave girl okay so here's the Scoop so there was this one girl that worked on the show and she was very into music very very educated about rock and roll music I'm I'm sitting on the edge of my seat like we're getting serious scoop okay and she was younger than than let me think he's about he's about like 55 I think and this girl at the so the so at the time he would have been like 45 and this girl was like 30 30 W okay maybe that and she was very like hip and very very attractive and I'm not going to say what she does or anything but she's hopefully she's listening because I'm like I need to get some and she was just so enthusiastic about his music knew everything and afterwards she was going to the studio and and we were like girl like what is going on because he's presenting himself at the show where I'm I have these three kids and he talk talked about his wife and people knew people in our um circle like went to school with them and I don't have any facts that it was any nothing more than him inviting this young girl to see him play at the studio you're killing me right now but I remember just being like I know everyone thinks he's the exception to the rock star but you think it's this girl no no I don't think it's this girl I know it's not this girl but I'm saying what are you I'm getting at I don't think he was always this cleancut guy this exception to the rule in my opinion that he was this rock and roll daddy that everyone you know I still think he can be nice to everybody in his life I still think he can tip well I still think he can be a responsible businessman who's nice to his landscaper I'm not saying that but I'm saying there was this image that he was kind of the exception to the rule that he was still he still liked the groupies and I still yeah I think he I think this isn't the first time that he is fed around okay and if this even if this girl didn't uh fall for anything because she knew it was married I felt that it was there was it was it was unusual and I was like we were like he's trying to [ __ ] you like what are you talking about why does he need you to go why does he need your opinion I'm like why does he need your opinion on his latest song you this pretty 30-year-old girl a super she was an expert yes that's why Heather she was an expert at his music and she knew better so I'm just saying when I heard it I was probably one of the less surprised people because I think I think he's had one of those marriages where again he's the good dad he is into his wife but maybe they had an understanding what I want to know what the wife one of the the wife is beautiful blond priv she saying she's not saying anything cuz she's pretty private is she angry we don't know it's very r that she would she was not she wasn't the the wife trying to launch a jewelry line she wasn't the wife trying to be on housewives she was just like like a pretty blonde wife that's been forever I think it would be great come on girl I think it would be great you know I always say in these situations there are a lot of marriages both public and not with public people and not where there is like a don't ass don't tell situation where you're like I don't really care just don't get anyone pregnant don't be caught don't bring them to the home and then something like this happens and then as the wife you're sometimes forced as like well now I have to divorce you [ __ ] like now I don't want people to think that I'm this uh you know pushover that I'm headband wearing Hillary Clinton yeah she wore that headband I'll never forget it yeah right you know and then people can interpret that any way they want all these years later they could have been like maybe she was like of course I know he cheats I'm going to be president [ __ ] just watch don't know what her was just like there's women that are like I don't want to [ __ ] him either I'm thrilled he has a girlfriend like we don't know whatever but then when it becomes public everyone thinks the normal relationship which is you must be totally devastated your hasband cheated on you you poor girl that he lied to we don't know we don't know if if she was being lied to my jaw is I and let me tell you what if I'm Dave girl's wife yeah I you're going to hear it from me of course I'd be I'd be out I'd be like out I don't know if I'd be out I'd be like sir we're going to have some serious talking to do and people are going to hear from me because I'm mad at you because you're hot and you're mine and now you have this little girl and I'm not babysitting right and now I'm not changing any diapers and the thing about and that baby better be named after me baby Sutton you know it is it is crazy because CU that girl's GNA be saying my name every day for the rest of her life yeah come on baby Sutton that's amazing it's a good plan I can't remember who was oh you know what that's a a juicy story um Adam leine there was gossip about Adam Lavine a while ago and this girl that came out and said she had an affair with him he said oh my wife's pregnant and I like you know and he was saying like he liked her name to name the kid oh oh so then his wife would have had a baby but maybe possibly would have had the name of this girl that his side come on that's not nearly my yours is better mine is way better I mean yeah I mean it's it's happened before where then the woman is like there's a there's a also a story that was a a very juicy like crime that happened there was this woman who I love this show I am like getting you don't read this stuff so I'm like what can you tell me this is a very juicy crime and people are going to remember it there was this woman and she was like an executive whatever and she moved like had money and sold her company and she was like mid-40s no kids never been married and she moved to like this quaint like fisherman town on the east coast and she got pregnant like at 45 and she had her she had a baby and at at when the baby was two somebody came in and killed her and they the baby live turned out nobody knew who the dad was but it was this local guy that was married and had five or six kids and at one time he was a suspect turned out it was just like a random weirdo it was like a random weirdo that just like whatever they finally found someone through DNA but it wasn't you know it was wasn't him it wasn't his wife it wasn't any of his kids but they now raised the child the dad and his wife of six kids or five kids they raised this this child of her which is you know beautiful because this child deserves a a family deserve to be with your Dad wow but it was an indiscretion you know or whatever it was an affair and the mom and the wife was like she's a saint so it's it you know or like you think about the Tristan Thompson and and and Chloe and it's just and even Wendy Williams Wendy Williams knew that her husband had girlfriends and a girlfriend on the side but once he got that girlfriend pregnant that's when she was like all right I'm out now I have to divorce you yeah now I have to so I it'll be interesting to see what happens here unless you're Dave girl well we'll see I predict I predict that she will walk yes I think she's just like you know what this was the sign I needed this was the side she's probably like God showed me a sign and I'm happy the baby's healthy I'm happy you know my daughters absolutely can like visit her whatever but I think I think she'll it won't happen right away but like in like a year and then maybe she become more public and then next thing you know she's on a girls trip with you she should call me she should she would be an amazing also because we don't really know her but she I don't have a photo of her but she's very attractive uhhuh and looks young even they've been married 23 years but she probably is maybe late 40s early 50s Max and she's G to have a lot of baby placenta to eat make those shakes so anyway there you go with the story H okay pretty juicy there that is now Rachel zo did you hear about Rachel zo I did hear about this so Rachel zo and her husband Roger um after 33 years together and 26 years married they have decided the mutual decision to end their marriage they have to two boys and when we would watch their they were old school Bravo did you used to watch their show on Bravo um where it was her show then she then with Brad gresy and then and it was so funny like I remember we did a sketch at Chelsea Lately where I was Rachel zo and our client was chewy and we like had two people one person be Brad and the other girl uh Jen Kirkman was her other assistant that had like hair in her face and it was like I die I and then she went on to do like her own show kind of with him and then of course she built her Empire with him in fashion and a couple years ago I interviewed her I was on her show because she and her husband were starting a podcast about great marriages and Partnerships yeah and um and I remember asking her like she's like no like they met in college and it was just kind of interesting because when we saw her on the show like she was just this fashionista girl and she was you know really thin and Chic and had this husband and had this fabulous life and then after that she gave birth to two boys and I was like oh okay I guess what we thought really they're just really this like couple but you never know what every marriage is different know I've known them um for a while now like before I moved to LA even um and Rachel's just so lovely and sweet yeah I like talking to her yeah and I went one time years ago I went to their offices and I talked to Roger about um my business and what I I had all kinds of ideas that I was trying to put together before I finally did what I did and and Roger was great with me and you know he's he's a businessman and um so this is really kind of sad news I think and they're they were such um a family unit but here's the thing you know so was I and and I was you know had known my husband since I was 13 and they had that kind of we've known each other we've grown up together kind of thing um and I I can't really talk about it because I don't know much but um I'm sure that there's a lot of sadness going on with this one I think where it's really shocking is like younger people it like it throws younger people off because they're like what like I thought once you made it past this year like Leah Remy and her husband just announced after 27 years they're getting divorced did you see that and so I think when people feel like you get past 20 years or something and they're only like 30 and they're on their third-year marriage it's sort of like yeah wait what you know like I don't get that and you know we you know it just there is like a big movement they call it silver divorce where it's it's like people in their mid to late 50s I am learning all kinds of things today divorced and it's because we I think you know we live longer and your kids are gone or or or they're growing up and you're like you never know I mean sometimes it is very mutual sometimes it's not you know we'll never really know because that's why I think it must be so hard to be a marriage counselor because there's it's not like they're a doctor that they're like well this is how I treat you know breast cancer it's like they don't know every situation is totally different you're always dealing with different people and different Dynamics and you just don't know and I think also women have changed a lot and you know my mother was a pioneer of um the women's movement and and working women and even since she did that I think in the past I would say even 15 years we've seen women really get strong and so I think relationships have taken a toll because of that right you know when you and Rachel and and um Roger really built that together I know I think that's what makes it really sad is because she even though she was the face of it it was a lot given a lot of credit to him and and again like I said when I interviewed her maybe two three years ago it was like oh my God you've been together so long like this will never not work and the thing is that people are always changing and evolving and sometimes you just really are not changing together that's what happened in my marriage we just we didn't change together MH and it happens a lot and you know I think people are always looking for this salaciousness or something that you know bad that happened sometimes it's just this natural um cause of development that you just didn't you just do that yeah you you grow in separate ways and and it's okay some people stay together even though they have separated in their in their hearts and minds they stay together um because it is just easier sometimes when with with homes and financial stuff and yeah I think it's they do that until one falls in love with someone who's like I'm not okay with this you know what I mean like I think there's a lot of people that do kind of have that separate life like I'll be at the lake house whatever we're cool I don't care I you bug the [ __ ] out of me and whatever or sometimes you just have to be honest with yourself and say you know what we've had a good run yeah and but I don't want to do this anymore I want to because even if you you can do the Lakehouse and you're here maybe you want to live um a different life that brings you joy and happiness a second round yeah you know that's okay right well because I say like you live so long that I mean you could have a whole another second marriage that's you know longer than your first like who's to why shouldn't you and so yeah I think it's really interesting I think that's the reason why we are so fascinated by Real Housewives because we get to we really relate especially like my you know being a woman demographic we relate so much I think to other demographics it's it's just pure entertainment right and then to people like me it's like oh my God I I know what this friendship's about I know what this deception is about like I've lived it myself or with a friend and that's why we get so involved when you guys share you know these big things about your life and then to other people it's like oh my God I like the outfits and you know and I throw the drink and there has to be a mix I think of both of those things because if if all we did was um you know the really vapid clothes and drinks and that that would only last so long right we can only watch that for so long there has to be some depth to it yeah we have to give something of ourselves in order to um balance that I think that's how the show work what now after five years what has been like that you know when you decided to do this and now five years later what has been like the greatest um greatest surprise about it that you like as a positive surprise that you wouldn't have expected yeah you know I um I think of every season is different and I learn something different about myself every season and I keep growing because I'm on this show that's really cool you don't it seems like we focus more on the people whose lives just seem to crumble and and don't Thrive well you know my life isn't perfect and and there's a lot of struggles that are that I'm always um working on um but I like to learn and um and I and I like the sort of the the unexpected um Kyle and I I did a live yesterday I'm an ambassador for Nami which is a Mental Health Organization I saw that um post of yours and you know I said for suicide prevention and yesterday was um world Suicide Prevention Day and um and I asked K if she would join in on my live and she did because her her very best friend committed suicide my father committed suicide and you know I said to Kyle one of the greatest coolest things about being on this show is that I get to talk about this and it's something that I never talked about before not with my family rarely with my friends really rarely with myself and all of a sudden I'm talking about suicide and strange position to be in and I'm an ambassador for NAMI so that part is to me very rewarding and as many trials and tribulations as I have been through doing this show that's so rewarding so I love that and you know talking about marriage you know when I started the show I was like I will never get married again absolutely not and now I'm like yeah maybe I've softened about men I'm not as scared of men and I think um like I'm open to love which I when I started I think I was really maybe a little bit bitter and scared and um not willing to listen to men and now I am so all of these things have come up and that's why I love doing it what is one of the negatives that you didn't expect in when you said yes to being on the show um I think the the ne the negatives have been I didn't know that and you know and I can include myself in this um that women can be so cruel to women and and I I include myself in that I didn't know that I had that capacity it I didn't know that I was able to um throw um cruelty as quickly as I have done I have surprised very that's very I'm big of you to to say that well you know I I I don't know that I've ever heard a housewife admit that they've been on the other side and not just the receiving side it seems like a lot of women are like I was bullied and D D D D D D and it's kind of weird to see like women in their 50s talking about being bullied but we do see it I don't think I've ever bullied but I have um you know but no I like that you say you know I've said said things that you know said things I've regretted and they've come out of my mouth and I've gone home thinking who are you who I I don't say you know I don't do that that's not me and um but it makes you look at that part of yourself that that has been living in there somewhere yeah that emerged and you know so I that part isn't Fun and it's not fun to receive so much I I went through a couple of Seasons where it was really difficult to show up yeah I feel like there was a time where it did feel a little like what was the whole Fox Force 5 I don't know I always get the name wrong um don't why I think I say where did that come from why is it a fox and was and the Fox Force 5 was was D Kyle Erica Lisa and Teddy Lisa and Teddy oh okay all right Le and Teddy are it wasn't when you know that there's a fox Force I would assume that the producers got wi of that and didn't like it you know how are you supposed to actually like be part it it almost felt like we're we're the cheerleaders that um went from you know we're the senior cheerleaders and you guys are just joining the teams as Junior and we're going to summer camp yeah and um you know you're not going to be able to come into our dorm room after practice like it felt a little like I remember being like what is that cuz I feel like that's why you and garcel were like what the [ __ ] is like what I think that um you know garcel and I didn't really Bond until the end of our first season together uhhuh and it was actually like in Rome we had a dinner right before we went to Rome and we just started laughing we just realized that we were funny like we thought we were we thought we were funny and so then in Rome we really like just were hanging out together um I think it was hard for us to kind of infiltrate because those women had known each other for so long which I understood um but then it was really after that that it started to get a little bit more mean and then it got a lot more mean and a lot more meaner towards me um and I didn't quite know how to defend myself I was bad at it and it was very hurtful to me a a few times um I didn't quite know I just was so Meek yeah I was and um you know I had been through a really painful divorce and you know i' sold my house you know I just felt real broken yeah and um so I was not good at sticking up for myself and then would you regret those moments that then were you know sketched in time and let me tell you if there was a camera following me every time I might have pulled a Sutton too where when I heard about darit if I was going through something crazy too I might have inadvertently you know I think the biggest thing that they do about these shows they always get you stop making it about yourself and it's like well sometimes it just happens that you just say something or you say I lost a pet too why are you making it about yourself like well [ __ ] like I I don't know isn't that being like trying to relate yeah so you were so you that was a moment when it's isolated doesn't doesn't look great D you know was robbed at gunpoint that was a bad bad moment and Kyle came over and you were like yeah I'm like my Paris designer is like stuck in customs or whatever so awful and it was really that was not I mean but when it's caught on tape and there forever how do you just yeah go yeah like I guess that's what you have to do yeah I said it like I said it I regret it and like whatever I'm sorry that was um probably the lowest moment of my life what I said you know especially because my father actually did take a gun and put it in his mouth and blew his brains out so you know for me to say that right flippantly what was I thinking it was terrible yeah terrible moment for me so that's I mean you know big of you to again to like admit that and then um when when we had the moment that did turn very comedic which was the namum I don't even remember what she what she so Kyle came over and she was like you're acting you you've acted strangely it was what was she asking it was after Las Vegas and oh Las Vegas with the magic mic yeah yes again see when I'm going through something yeah I am not focused and you were going through the fact that your husband was saying that he wanted the youngest to come live with him in London or for you me and me and um and I was like and I had just learned it before like right before getting on the plane to go to Vegas and you know he's a very formidable ex and I just thought this this really could happen to me and and you might have to leave this the show and leave your life leave the show leave my business leave my house you know leave my horse leave my dogs leave my cats and you know leave my life right and I just and I lost it right I lost it do you have any desire to go back just see Magic Mike and yeah and and and split and spread your legs and have them I didn't like the spreading of the legs I just didn't I just I'm sorry sorry I know the show is actually really good yeah it's just that moment I was like I'm out right I just and I also think when you are going through something now emphasize it by you're at girls week and I think we've like what I loved about that Vegas weekend Oh God is I just want to say I thought it was so relatable where you're on a girl's weekend whether it's a birthday or a bachette or something and someone is kind of did I say I liked this show cuz I've really starting to I'm just kidding no no no but I'm saying well I'm going to give you a compliment or not or make it relatable I think we people have been there yeah they've been on that girls trip where one person is just a little off and then you have you know a couple drinks and a little bit emotional and like I just I just want to leave and it can happen a lot in Vegas it's so those Vegas weekends can be really great or you know or they can go there's stress to have fun you got to have fun I don't feel like having yeah you weren't feeling like having fun and then you were just like you know what I mean I've had those moments too where I'm like someone says something wrong and I'm like you know what I'm out like I'm out but there there's there's one funny thing that you know I I was so I was not in right in the right state of mind and and now I look back and it's so funny when I said it is not about the pants it's just so funny because because you did wear the pants and you're to wear the pants if you want to be brought up on stage yeah and so they were like you're sad that you were brought up on stage I was not sad I was just like I'm not going up on the stage next that's not happening oh okay so after you saw was happening you were like I definitely went out got it I'm not doing that I don't want anything to do with this got it yes it was not about the pants let's talk a little bit about the golden Bachelorette okay are you familiar it's coming out soon this is Joan she's um I think about 60 fit pretty blonde and she is the first golden Bachelorette okay did you ever watch any of the the golden Bachelor I didn't I'm the worst I don't it's fine but you know the bachelorette as a franchise according to this LA Times article which I know that you like to read entire articles so this is a you obviously have golden Bachelor but yes well you have a you know you get the LA Times I do so this I have not read this whole article but it's basically it says can the golden Bachelorette Joan vasos help restore the luster of Bachelor Nation so they just recently they just had a you know a young Bachelorette go through and I I used to cover the Bachelor and The Bachelorette and stuff and I feel like as a franchise it's it's you know lost this momentum it's been around forever you know and I have to admit something else um I've never watched The Bachelor or The Bachelorette yeah that's fine I no I feel like I've been missing out on life so now there's the golden and I think it's brilliant because it's a TV show it's once a week and a lot of young kids don't watch traditional TV anyway so like they they should be catering to an audience that still enjoys watching regular TV on a weekly basis not in a binge and um so she's going to go meet and I saw some of the guys they all like are they handsome yeah they're like handsome put together and I mean what where do the remnants go where do the what her remnants go her remnants her remnants the the things that get tossed oh I didn't know what you're talking about Heather keep up the ones I don't know so then maybe they'll one of them will probably be chosen to be if they're very popular probably be chosen to be the asking for myself that's what I'm saying so then you could that's what could be exciting is that you'll have access to these people I'm sure they'll all have Instagram and you can find them um she was one of the bachelor she was one of the girls that that the golden Bachelor male didn't choose didn't choose and I I had predicted her way on that she would get it really yes because I thought she was you know pretty enough and hip enough but um that they could do a variety of guys a few younger a few older and also she but she didn't last long because she had to like leave her daughter needed her or something so she didn't stay like till the end cuz normally they pick one that's like the reject like the final two usually gets like the runner up and so oh God it's so hum the guys look attractive and like put together and hip and kind of a variety of men and so I'm wondering we got to see you go on some dates oh God on the show yeah um where are you in your dating life and would you ever go on like you know what they're doing with um with the other Lan is and Lan and I'm on juicy scoop is where I am with my dating that's all you need about it that's all you need um yeah because you know there's always a situation like this which would which I feel like they're kind of doing a version of this it sounds like they're doing the golden Bachelorette meets you know love Island right now on peacock and they just arrived in Cabo with Shannon bador and Lan oh God and Jazelle and Ashley from real house as of pomac oh God and they're going to all date oh God now you wouldn't want to do that you know I would think about it okay uh um May I choose the cast that or that you'd be be with yeah who would you want to be let's just say who would you want to be with youel okay garcel you garcel gel I get two more um and they have to be singles well like I might me garcel Erica okay because actually I like hanging out with Erica here's the thing but I've I've got me garcel Erica I mean how bad can I set myself up for failure like this is the worst idea I've ever had just pick one more pick one from a different city from a different city not from Beverly Hills okay who else is out there in the world who else is single that's a housewife give me one you know but they're all see we have we have from OC all these girls are taken right now on OC but they all look like that and so everybody's gonna you look beautiful though you're a hot piece of ass well but see here's the thing um I am not well endowed and I think men can be very shallow about your boobies well they like boobies I think you don't want to get a boob job you never want to get a boob job um I I don't want to get you know a tet shot oh you don't want to get oh okay no I'm not I'm not encouraging it I'm just saying in in Beverly Hills you're maybe you're one of the few housewives that don't have a facelift and boob jobs and all kind of stuff like that uh I like you know kind of you know like I'm an intellectual like to talk about smart stuff and art and yeah yeah so we'd have to go somewhere I think you'd be funny if they do another version they'll they'll cast it for you funny yeah I think you're funny I would be seriously looking for them this is not I know but I'm like you're funny to watch so let's let's talk about Real Housewives of OC you are watching it you said I am watching it yeah and what are your initial thoughts of what is happening this season with Shannon and Alexis and Tamara and well my favorite part so far has been my dog that got out of she my dog I was on one scene oh that's right and my dog was on was made her debut and she's just hilarious oh because you know um I Katie I have met Katie yes oh that's right Katie the new girl you knew prior how did you guys know each other so um the golf world yeah and uh Katie had reached out to me and asked me to be on in a celebrity golf tournament which if you want to see something comical that's really what you should watch me playing golf and so I did that and I got to know her and her husband husband um sort of in the golf world uhhuh and and she was living in San Diego and she's from Georgia so um and I got to know her that weekend we went to dinners and stuff like that so she you know a nice and was she interested in being on housewife back then she mentioned something you know like yeah I've always thought about it um and I said well I hope you've got a second set of skin because you're going to have to go put it on because it's tough work and so I went I I filmed with her so then she she went forward with it got it and then she asked when she was going through the interview process I I don't know if I was like I wrote about her or something I help like yes I know her and right you know they're good people um it's like a sorority recommendation really yeah I guess so yeah um and but now watching this season I find it very difficult to watch and what they're doing to Shannon um bador I found it to be quite honest disgusting um and overboard not necessary uh not fun to watch I'm unclear why they fund it um why these women want to do that to her I just I think it's above I really think it was just a complete misestimation on Tamara and Alexis's part of what this would result in with the fans I think they thought you know the fans will never forgive Shannon for her DUI and therefore let's you know let's get you on the show let's you know uh make everyone love Johnny J that and the thing is hard to watch right and the thing is is that it was like in channon's defense she did not talk [ __ ] about her boyfriend John Janson ever on the show with cameras she did not she off camera would share and vent to who she thought were her girlfriends M Emily Heather de bro Tamara whatever uhhuh and she and we at one time close and from our generation we talk on the phone we vent that's what women Gen X women do okay and you know and her personality is like let me tell you let me you know share and I think some sometimes to get some sympathy to be a little dramatic that's just her personality you know and I think so she shared these things of of her concerns about the relationship meaning meaning like I do pay for all these things or he isn't that nice to me or whatever she said and then they started talking about it and she even said like previous episodes previous season she was like what are you doing talking about my relationship now my relationship is over he'll be furious so she in her mind I think she thought she was protecting the him in the relationship because she did not speak negatively him on she not go to coffee and rip on John yeah but then they talked about and then it got out and now he feels oh my God the PE the world thinks I'm this [ __ ] who talks about her weight and didn't you know didn't pay for things when that's not me at all look how lovely I am to my new girlfriend Alexis Bolino and in fact I gave her this money you know for this facelift and I want it back and then it becomes this weird gross legal thing and yeah the way it's the audience is 100% it appears 95 Pro Shannon because you're like why would why why is this being brought up you know and but when you bring it up on camera then it listen I mean it's it's no hold SP you know once once it's once you say something on camera and that's what I want to ask you because I think one the other thing people don't realize is like when they're like when someone does say something um you know on whatever show it is and they're like I heard a rumor that you know whatever Jo Jenny's boyfriend is uh seeing guys at the gym then they're like now if you're privy to her saying that then it's almost like now you feel like right I better go tell the Jenny that this has been said on camera yesterday because otherwise she's going to see it years later and be like how could you sit there and not warn me so I better warn them but I better warn them on camera to not piss off the producers right well you know I think that this is you know this is a reality show it's not scripted right and so women are going to do what's natural you know you and I don't think that producers come into it at least right not in my brain um I think that you protect yourself as you as you need to um but you also have a choice in what you want to say and also in your actions you know you don't have to do these things you can you can um make different choices and so if some says something you don't have to jump on it right you can just say you know and just say I wish you hadn't said that and go home and go to bed wake up the next day but then do you feel like if something was said salacious rumor or not about a fellow housewife that you are close to do you feel like it's sort of your moral obligation to then let them know that now this is probably part of the season and I better let you know that they're chatting about this I feel like your show hasn't had it as much as like New Jersey and things like that where that someone says it and then they're like and in this case they're like we're all talking about this video of Shannon supposedly acting you know horribly on a ring camera at John's house it's got to get out there she's got to know otherwise it's like she's walking around yeah I mean I didn't I didn't that didn't bother me that they told Shannon that they're talking about that they should the admirable thing to do you have to that's what I'm saying I feel like you have to after after a certain amount of time I feel like they feel like this is in on that yeah so that she is not blind awful it's just so awful to watch and that's why I'm glad she's in Cabo with Lan yeah having fun and hopefully like getting some attention and being funny and away from this and of course this was you know filmed like you know whatever nine months ago or whatever so it's like think she's definitely like in a better place but yeah it really it's just it's like yeah it's like when somebody steps on your foot yeah and it hurts that's how I feel like when I watch it sometimes but I like the other parts like I I love like Katie's kind of funny and um and I think Gina's really funny yeah and Emily's hilarious and you know I love Heather de BR she's a friend of mine and I I love her she's just now there was always talk that she might jump over and join Beverly Hills because she has a home in Beverly Hills or two homes and you know which they rarely do that yeah and um but I mean i' I was pushing for it I thought it would have been good I love Heather I I think she's great and um and Terry they just came to a store event that I did and just supportive and like good people yeah so and she's funny too she I mean and Heather and I are very oddly alike um we're kind of um very like I can see that yeah like we are very high strong and we like things the way we like them right um so I like you know I like that part and you know I and I've met Tamara several times and I like her I'm like stop doing this you know can we just give Shannon a break maybe yeah I think Tamara's still I think Tam went down this road because I think she was still really hurt that when they um didn't ask her back for two years I think she felt like Shannon um kind of blew her off when she wasn't on the show I think she felt and it's fact it's a fact Shannon wasn't communicating with her and and then when she came back then they you know had their fun on the show but I think it was I think it's kind of like you know no I that was uncool because you know Tamar was the first one on it I mean Tamara I met Shannon because Tamara was like called me and was like oh I saw that you tweeted that you want to go to the USC UCLA game um the new the new uh girl on our show has tickets do you want to come with us so that's how I met shanon bador so like go to I think yeah she did and so I think Tamara you know is that girl that that feels like I was a really really good friend to you for such a long time right and but this plan is just not barwell for to really really bad and um now they're engaged Alexis and really John Janson and you know I'm sure she'll come I'm sure they'll have them back on the show and I'm sure they'll make Alexis a a cast member and they'll have a wedding and camera will be a bridesmaid here's a true story yes about myself so I I'm in a small friend group and there's just four of us and it finally came came out that my ex-husband has been dating one of the girls in my friend group and to The Other Women we were like are there not any other fish in the sea like can you not date somebody else you know it's a small group it's a you know there's other women to date so that part I'm like I'm a little like really whatever his name is is his name John I don't know John you know can you not not data housewife mayy just think about that one for a second I mean I will say Shannon and Alexis were not friends they were not like on the show together it doesn't matter we're we're all in a family together right right yeah we just are it's it's like Unwritten rule right but you know I so how do you feel about that girlfriend that's now dating your ex well she's no longer a girlfriend but I mean that's just weird it's just weird I no and so the two did the two other girls have to break it to you that she was Da broke it to me actually and um yeah and I broke it to my girlfriends you know it's fine we're all adults but it does seem though it's just a weird thing it is weird but it happens a lot because I think it is familiarity and you know and you know each other and if this girl's your friend she's probably similar she's not similar to me to you but I mean you know what I mean personality wise like it's like and I think that's why people go oh my God I can't believe you know you often hear oh you know and then he married my mom's best friend like that isn't like that uncommon well I'm not dead yeah that does happen when when people die well I want to I want to jump to One Last Thing Before I Let You Go um because I am watching oh first of all let me just say this you watch Real House Miami at all this this guy um was the plastic surgeon married to Lisa and he that one is yeah and he with the hat on I mean that's very filtered here's another photo of them yeah uhhuh and then this girl used to come to their sexy Halloween parties and then he left his wife of two of 14 years with two kids Lisa I want to thump my forehead on the microphone sexy Halloween parties God and then they were together and they got engaged and now they're not getting married anymore and she was already like already posted a photo of her on a boat with some younger guy and so everyone's just like oh my gosh you know okay good I'm glad it didn't work out because they were like 30 years yeah of course and but there was video of them the like about two weeks ago that someone got of them like waiting for their car or something at a restaurant and the body language was like oh these two hate each other she hates him for sure and he doesn't know what to do so they're done um now this is this is this beautiful girl Chelsea she's on selling Sunset and I know you're not watching it but I want to tell you why I find this super interesting it already has come out that she and her husband are getting divorced okay well she looks 12 yeah she's gorgeous she's gorgeous and she's English and she actually does really sell real estate okay so and she had this this husband who was You Know Rich but lookwise not in her league but whatever he was featured on the show and what's really interesting about the this season and I encourage people to watch it cuz I think it's really juicy is this other girl that you know it's the thing about selling Sunset it's it's kind of like Housewives except with um tiny jobs and they kind of have job the the jobs are exaggerated as realtor they I think they have their license but the tiny twins that run opener group they just give them listings which never happens in real life real estate nobody gives you a listing okay so you know and then they're like it's $8 million and they walk around but it's a very entertaining show because you see all this beautiful real estate in La the girlsn the yes girls girls that's I call it real estate porn fashion porn the girls are pretty but then they have these relationships and this really juicy thing like unfolded on camera which is this one girl Bri goes and has lunch with her friend and the friend is like um my friend texted me and said that they saw Chelsea's husband in the W Hotel making out with a woman and now it's on camera so then that girl Bri felt I got to tell her right but she told her on camera so there is this moment where it is so real that she has she's like I knew there was a disconnect but I had no idea you know that I didn't I had no I didn't suspect cheating but I knew we were having a little disconnect and she's like the problem with our marriage happened in the last two years when she became famous like being on the show like he wasn't she calls it work but we know the work really means not having an open house on Sunday it means being famous on TV you know and doing all the stuff that comes along with being on TV and so that's where I was kind of saying about saying the things on camera because then there was then there's discussion of like this girl should have called her privately privately yes because it is such a big deal yeah and it did it definitely resulted in she's divorced or getting divorced right and um I think it so I thought it was just such an interesting thing but I also think take TV out of it uhhuh there's always the old question of if you knew your husband your friend's husband was cheating uhhuh do you tell because then if they get back together then guess what they're never going to want you to be in their life they're going to blame you for telling and that's exactly what's happening she's starting to blame the girl for telling and it's like because told it on camera but still it's like don't shoot the messenger like do you have you ever been in the position where you're like you know because I do think that's you always think you're doing the right thing you tell your girlfriend your girlfriend's like you're the best friend ever thank you for telling me but then unless they divorce their cheating husband or break up with their cheating boyfriend somehow if they get back together somehow it seems often times the guy goes it was it was your friend that ruined this or they're so embarrassed that they stay with the cheating [ __ ] that they really can't be friends with the girl that broke the news to them do you know what I mean well I would definitely tell my friend how you ever had to tell your friend no yeah it's a hard a really hard position to be in I think it's a really it's always one of those advice questions where you're like I don't know because if you tell but what I want to know yes on the other side I would want my friend to tell me yes but is as you as a person who has the info I think people don't realize what a hard position it is to have the info for for what could happen your initial thought is like girl I you know or like God forbid you see it with your own eyes back to Tiffany hadish in in that movie girls trip yes I'm her with the bottle of wine breaking it open running over to the husband going K what are you doing with that girl you know I would be more angry and I would confront my friend's husband in public yeah I I would do that in in one million years if you went to a restaurant and saw him every day for the rest of my life I I would do that I yes I like hello who is this yeah I'm right I'm right here yeah are you going to tell her or am I right because that's what's about to happen right now right you don't want to mess with me too much sometimes I actually think that's you hit the nail on the head I actually now think if you're ever in this position you need to contact the husband whether it's by phone or in person and say I know you're [ __ ] around on my friend if you're going to end it great I don't care but you got to tell her you got to tell her or I am so let me know when you're going to tell her because then it does come from him and they can deal they can deal with it and you're not the one that's like bearing the bad message but he knows you still may lose both your friends they still might get together and and he may convince her that you were the problem but if he is the one coming and confessing will all come out the it will all come out in the was he but I think that is the better thing to do is make him conf do the whole thing either you're telling her or I am and it should really come from you it'll be less humiliating if it comes from you privately your husband you dirty lion dog yeah mhm yeah mhm warning to all of my friends husbands yes I agree um Sutton you're so cute so tell everybody like what is going on with you how they can get your clothes follow you everything so um I know everybody's like oh she's gone out of business wait what was that you just moved locations or what was that about what we're doing I don't have a storefront anymore it's all online and um you know I've been working on Sutton Brands which is my second company and I have a business partner who's in Houston Texas and that's what we do all of our circular fashion um which is all sustainable and so that's excess returns and excess inventory that we remanufacture with um my label sutting green label.com so you look for for a style that matches your how do you pick the items yeah well some of them are returns so he is in the return business oh okay um with retail reworks and so some of them are actual returns and then some are excess inventory both of these things there's so much out there and is designer or across the gamut uh yeah it's just some are designers that we know but this is all above board everybody knows what what we're doing and what our company does um but they're going to get put on boats and sent to landfills not in this country but in other countries and um it's a huge uh problem fashion is the number two pollutant in on our Earth what's number one the planes probably Stu stuff like that yeah and um I should know that answer I know but it's you know pollutants that have been around for a long time and um so I want to be a part of the solution and not part of the problem and so I've really been focusing on that so I'm taking all of like my Boutique is going to be online and then all of the circular fashion is online so it's just easier I don't need the storefront for I don't have the room for it to be honest yeah and um I think that you know we've been doing live shopping that's kind of the wave of the future for shopping yeah U that's what people do it's fun I've been doing a few of them and um it's fun to go live and shop and Shop with me right um so we're doing that and um Cynthia Bailey has a line with me under sutt brand so um it's the Cynthia Bailey collection and that's all you can find it on Sutton green label.com uh so it's just gotten bigger yeah and so it's more of a success than anything uh in the back of the courtyard where my storefront was um I have a beautiful office back there where people can go by appointment and um I'll have you know my samples will be there and um I'll still do like popups in my Courtyard and do my events that I love to do so alive and kicking and actually kind of killing it so good I love it it's I think that's great it's really fun and it's more um I think modern yeah and um not as um oldfashioned shopping yeah and um but I'll have my jewelry displays and all that so it's it's really pretty so and we'll have chances to you can come back and see the space when I do my events and
