with you the excitement of the all-wheel drive app Terror twisting down a mountain Road or the thrill of the 150 kilowatts of power going from zero to four seconds on the freeway but we don't have an actor yet but there are some things I'd like to share with you today a little bit about me I'm an electrical engineer I have an MBA in finance and I've developed capitalization tables so C Series a series B mezamine IPO so I get that stuff currently I work as a public finance officer where I underwrite millions of dollars of loans now today's video is going to be somewhat different today I have Peter Greenberg and after reservation holder Ambassador and investor but first I know many of you like this because it's relevant to when aptera does an IPO first the financial market conditions the last month or so we saw the s p on a generally upward trend and I believe that's primarily based on the fact that the FED is going to be increasing rates only 25 basis points rather than the 50 basis points that they have been doing recently um we just got um the pce inflation numbers this week the fed's preferred measure and it Rose last month 4.4 from a year ago now that's good it's down from close to 10 but 4.4 percent is still roughly twice the two percent Target that the FED has for inflation so we can expect another 25 basis points this week now that we know that Financial conditions are tight and tightening um it's still not quite a good time for upterra to do an IPO in my opinion but it will come my friends now I'd like to introduce you to Peter Greenberg Peter welcome to my app Terror Journey and what I'd like to be able to do today is just kind of have a little discussion about a lot of things that made you an investor an ambassador and reservation holder and the first thing I'd like to do is if you could share with our viewers a little bit about yourself I'm Peter Greenberg and I've been in the many businesses and Fields over the My Life um I was at firefighter paramedic for the city of Albany for 10 years I made solar water heaters for a few years I had an energy efficient Lighting Company where we saved manufactured lighting fixtures for industrial places and saved about 110 million kilowatt hours for our customers cumulative cumulatively a year and then for the last 13 years I've been in the Solar business and at one time I owned eight percent of the sold in Oregon and luckily now it's a much smaller number there's a lot more solar but like we put solar systems in for homeowners and businesses and and probably put in more solar on non-profits than anybody in the state I would say by this time and um that's amazing what was the number of uh kilowatt hours that you saved well with their lighting we saved about 110 million kilowatt hours a year and the solar probably produce about 15 million kilowatt hours that's tremendous um Peter I was just curious do you own an electric vehicle now I have a Chevy bolt that I got um 2019 before that I had a plug-in Kia Nero hybrid probably one of the first ones in the country and uh and I had that and then the incentives or the federal tax credits were going down for what the heck I get an electric vehicle and sold the uh the kid and my electrician that works for me you know oh and before that I years ago I had a a Jetta diesel wagon that I converted to a vegetable oil um and then I got a hyper a bicycle that also I had put on batteries for that so very soon yeah very similar experience that I've had I started with a 2013 Chevrolet Volt Plug-In hybrid and then I went to the 2017 bull TV fully electric and and once you go to Electric you just never want to turn back yeah it's powerful it's clean um you don't have to worry about fueling up my guess is you fuel up at home just plug it in my car in the garage plugged in and um if you need something I have a cable out there if you need anything um I was curious what other electric vehicles would you consider right now if you're looking for a new electric vehicle uh the attera I don't know if you've heard of it but that's pretty much the only thing I consider I have heard about the actor oh look at this you have one right there it's not quite drivable yet why the app Terror it's just so interesting unique efficient cool um I like the solar panels on there I like the idea you could easily car Camp um it's a lot of room for I could darn near fit a solar panel on the back that's amazing how do you envision using your app Terror just driving and car camping and and I really don't need more business but I'll put a logo on the side and it would be impossible for somebody to pass me and not look at it it's a very very just for advertising it'd be worth it alone yeah maybe tax deduction it's a very compelling vehicle yeah and like you Peter um I have two boys up in Seattle and I often drive from Salem OR Portland Oregon up to Seattle and it's a perfect road trip and then for work sometimes I'll go way out to Eastern Oregon out to Ontario that's like five hours on the freeway perfect vehicle for that and then um in my later years I might want to take my wife and go explore places where we just haven't explored it's a perfect vehicle to do that in my opinion uh especially with the all-wheel drive and the camping kit I'm getting both yeah so am I yeah uh well I changed my order to the launch edition yeah me too there you go um it wouldn't what are what are your thoughts about aptera Motors uh it's senior leadership it's right to repair a strategy and its rollout strategy well I think the rate to repair is terrible you should spend a lot of money fixing a vehicle it doesn't make sense no I mean naturally it's brilliant and um you know it's terrible when you and then I've heard stories about fixing Teslas and I mean all sorts of other things that just cause an enormous amount of money and you know write your person the way to go you know I'm an electrical engineer and I still have an affinity for electronic stuff and I think just last night I watched an iFixit video it was one of the first Mac um MacBooks their laptops where they had the complete um repair manual well and it was several hundred pages but the iFixit technician walked through the manual and said you know what this is pretty good um there's still a parts issue with apple serial numbers and stuff like that but I'm looking forward to and thank you for pointing that out the right to repair I'm looking forward to if opening up the manual and if I want to fidget with something or repair something or enhance something having the knowledge and the tools and the documentation to be able to do that you know looking at I've seen it that every video on the aptara actually I've been down to attera land twice and um had a ride in the one of them um the one of the cut off front again yeah yeah very quick ride around parking lot um did you need any um absorbent material after after you had that test drive it's quick um but you know they're obviously making it so there's the least number of parts to uh to work on and you know there's there's really not much maintenance at all for my Chevy bolt and there'll be less for the attera yeah I have over 130 000 EV miles and about a little over 110 on my bold TV well and with the exception of the battery recall which only enhanced my um I got a 10 more range um I've had zero problems with it yeah the oil changes no air filter so I did change the cabin air filter several times yeah I did that too um yeah the electrics are just amazing yeah yeah it's hard to drive I have a gas pickup for my solar business and you know got it begrudgingly but the Chipmunks like metal wiring and it caught fire so I had to get something not much related by today quickly you know with electric yeah I think it's a Ford F-150 Lightning is backlogged back ordered for quite a long time it's been very popular yeah do you have any um thoughts about um that you would want to share with epterra senior leadership and if so what would that be keep up the great work I mean I I've been down there I've chatted with them and um chat with Sarah chatted with Chris and I think they're on the right path they they know what they're doing they're hiring great people Sandy Monroe and you know they got the right Motors they get the right carbon fiber it's um now they they got it together you know I have to agree with you Peter I and I and I'm happy to disagree if I were you know if I have a different opinion um but bringing Sandy in uh and it will send you then introduced uh aptera to CPC yeah uh the manufacturer of the body and carbon a vehicle that is never going to rust and I think you shared with me before we started uh today that it had a tree come down on your Bowl TV and because it's aluminum dentists had little dents in it and that definitely wouldn't have happened with the upterra yeah you know the way it was distributed enough um I mean that little tiny crack in the windshield I don't know the emptier windshield would do compared to that but the tree is a tree um but yeah it wouldn't mess with the body at all yeah it's um I remember watching Chris Anthony describe um the composite body structure of the aptera and he goes well it's basically a football helmet so you're driving inside a football helmet that's pretty darn safe yeah and I can imagine you and we've seen videos of earlier after you can just take a hammer to it and fudge Hammer sledgehammer and yeah when I I was interested in the after way back when and and then when I I heard there resurrecting uh I wrote Emery Lovins who started the Rocky Mountain Institute the kind of the world's energy Guru who I I know somewhat and uh he said oh yeah I'm the early reservation holder and that was good enough for me I signed right up and oh he's an early reservation I got in about six thousand I mean I get him pretty quick but it's still about six thousand but I think I'm gonna get much higher on the list with this new scheme well I I was at 300 and we'll see where that goes um yeah so aptera has had several crowdfunding rounds uh what if what are your thoughts of the company as an investment I've invested quite a bit of money I've never invested other than myself I've never really done that much in the stock market except daytime trading gambling you know in Tesla when it goes up and down or whatever and some energy stuff but have invested pretty pretty heavily in them in um I'm Terran and I'll I'll be in the first 10 um to get him actually I'd be the first one to get them um I'm so jealous um and lucky I'm lucky um one of the thoughts that occurred to me on investing in that Terror is I consider it really a financial option it's a financial option you know what the floor is if they grow belly up and I don't predict that they will they go belly up you know what your loss is but the upside is unknowable yeah so it's really a financial option in my mind um and and when I think about that it really makes investing especially for those that are sophisticated investors um just something to ponder it's an option um the upside is unknowable your downside is fixed um it's just a totally refreshing way for professional investors to think about bacteria well certainly electric vehicle stocks have had quite the yo-yo they have but um you know it's going to be a very solid company the great idea they're going to be profitable make a great product change the world I'm all in what kind of thoughts do you have that you would like to share with our viewers as we close our interview today dig deep and pony up 10 000 bucks um you know I think one you know I know they've been trying hard to raise money and it's difficult times to raise money apparently and um you know this isn't ideal certainly if you had an early reservation but it's it's going to get us to making the app Terrace faster than anything else I think and um I hope it's very successful it certainly has been for Sono Motors well one of the thoughts that occurred to me and again I'm thinking more along the lines of professional investors in Pension funds or venture capital or family offices or a Wrath of different sophisticated investors and investor groups um is that upside and fixed downside I'm definitely not the astute Financial person I've not run a Black Shoals uh options model on it but from a simplified uh view it's it's really an option um and and I like that very much I used to invest in uh Longs and shorts levered ETFs like 2x 3x positive and minus ETFs like minus two minus three ETFs um on oil which I'll never do again um and when the Mia Copa when the stocks were crossed crashing during a financial crisis I was short in the market be a Copa it was okay um so yeah I think aptera is a wonderful opportunity both from the crowdfunding standpoint where anybody can invest and from a professional investor standpoint in my prediction I made a short video I think last week about this my prediction is at Terra Motors is going to close their series B funding ground within 90 days so um I really appreciate your thoughts and insights Peter and visiting with me on my app to our journey for such engaging conversation um with over a billion dollars of pre-orders um Savvy investors know that at least they do now and they probably did before investing in appetera is just a financial option with a fixed bottom and an unknowable upper limit um so I want to thank you again for sharing time with us today and I'd like to
