roads are looking pretty good this morning all things considered couple areas we're keeping an eye on though on the ramp from 94 West to 45 North that right shoulder is blocked due to a disabled vehicle that's near the zoo interchange by West Dallas and then on 894 West some slow traffic there through the construction zone and some fog might affect some visibil a chance of storms possible later with high of 82 today and a low of 62 this evening from the WTMJ traffic center I'm Jack grow on 945 ESPN tune in to kbn every day at 2:00 Kyle BR and nortman 945 ESPN is wkti and wkti HD Milwaukee a locally owned Good Karma brand station sh the right way to start your day this is Jen Gabe and chewy oh look at what we have here a Christmas card from Lany thank you well you didn't have to go to that trouble soft nips on guys don't look good oh look at what we have here a Christmas card from Lany thank you well you didn't have to go to that trouble it doesn't look good guys look a little yeah okay I didn't even see the picture how did it come out oh you know it's a picture oh yeah look at that looks it's good K did a good job yeah well I mean how hard is it to take a picture like you look so much better when you get out of a cold pool because everything's tight as opposed to 90° with no shirt on and puffers I'm just saying H what did you look at this picture carefully carefully because I'm not sure and and correct me if I'm wrong but I think I see uh this is Jen Gabe and chewy broadcasting live from the grer LA offices one call that's all Studio at the Avenue with Gabe Nel and Mark Jamara here's Jen [Music] L usually when I'm substitute teaching and it's dude Friday and I'm leading the show like Jen's not here but now like it's like the teacher's there like assessing you as you're doing you know as you're doing the work this just going to be it's going to be weird I'll be judging yeah well and she's trying to figure out how to sit in a different seat so weird let ring around the rosies which is really a morbid little tail it really isn't it really is talking about dying it's about like and laying the bodies We All Fall Down is you're not just falling full of posies what the hell is a posie ashes ashes POS is a flower is it yeah pocket so they didn't smell wasn't posie a catcher yeah Buster yeah yeah okay sure enough all right all right we have all been waiting the email came in Jen sent us a screenshot of the email arriving for those who don't know Jen almost two weeks ago now took the ACT she had to take the ACT to pay off a bet from something we do here at ESPN Milwaukee called cover five picking five games every football season every week she finished last two years ago finally paid off her debt which was if you finished last you had to take the ACT so she sat down with a bunch of Juniors at Milwaukee Lutheran High School a couple of weeks ago and we now have the ACT results did you peek oh yeah I looked are you the fact that Ashton sent the text it was like please if you haven't looked yet don't until 7:01 Monday morning and I was like that ship is all the way to Traverse City okay if it's the ferry across Lake Michigan it is already landed at destination I think you sent us the screenshot at like 1:30 I noticed when you sent the screenshot it has the time the email arrived at 1119 in my mind I went there's no chance guys she already looked before she sent the screenshot I took the screenshot as soon as I saw it Oh I thought you looked and then took the screenshot no because it was an unread email it was so I took the screenshot and then I looked you have to log in and you got to see um so as expected and we are doing the big reveal of the score of the act now as expected math score not great how about the science score science [Laughter] score all right so there are there's four parts to this right four parts okay so I got a score on each part math science English reading the math was the worst the reading was the best and then they take the scores and they average them out do you guys want to try to guess what I got in each of the disciplines to then figure out what the composite score was what's the high score 36 so they're all 36 36 across the board and then it gets average I never took act I East Coast you take sat yeah you took the act on paper Okay math 22 lower I am going to say 14 higher 18 19 19 I got a 19 on the math all right Still Still scholarship eligible not bad scholarship eligible I told you guys I skipped a lot of the problems because I was like I have no idea I have no idea I have go on to ones I could figure out and then come back to those and then I just seed my way through those okay so I got a 19 on the math portion you want to guess science okay so she said science if I mean based on the noises that she was making science was better than in math but not by much I'm going to say 22 on science 21 higher oh 24 24 oh that's solid yeah 24 on science um and at some point we can break down they actually give a breakdown of what you struggled with in each uh section and what you did well on so we have a 19 in math we have a 24 in science now we have the big boys all right English and reading so reading was the best score we'll start with English yeah so let's go with English I'll go 34 uh re uh English I'll say 30 right smack in the middle I got a 32 on the English that's very solid just below what I got just Bel yeah just just a little little but yours had a decimal point yes it did okay so we got a 32 on the English so we have a 19 we have a 24 we have a 32 on the English and the reading is the one I scored the best on I thought I might score the best on it it is the most similar to what I do currently in my job at ESPN writing features language all of those things what do you think I got on the reading I'm going to say perfect score on the 35 36 35 oh solid you're a little disappointed with that too aren't you I was a little disappointed in both of those I got two wrong so what's the average uh it's too early for math for me 19 n i we don't have time you sure I mean we got the show just started we don't have time Joshy did this sucker in his head by the way it's four numbers divided by four folks like no I don't want to do it just tell me what it is okay but I would prefer if you did 28 is it 28 I got a 28 on the AC that is very solid how do we feel about that how do we feel about a 28 By the way got a 29 as a High School junior so to me getting one point less that's 26 years later 20 I mean I'm pretty impressed I was pretty proud of the 28 effort that I got on the ACT yeah where does 28 get you into so 28 so 28 gets you in the Madison 28 so I don't know about that the average score when we did the average scores I think the average for Madison was 29 average score from our cat I think was 28 have to look at that thing now that they want to see is extracurriculars they do cuz I just obviously had kids that just went through this and they want to see all DEA and National anner Society and helping the blind all those type of things so you're getting in well I don't do any of those things now but but in high school yeah but you make people cry and I think that accounts for something I've got a list of schools here that would get Jen that the 28 would get Jen into college at all right let's let's uh what we got all right let's get back to music we've got University of Washington all right hey new Big 10 School big fan University of Arizona sure could have a good time USC that's yeah okay Minneapolis Minnesota Twin Cities campus that's very good Quinnipiac Quinnipiac nyip what did he just say Quinnipiac and you make fun of me all right keep going wait a minute to be fair yeah Massachusetts and that area is a whole another language okay if you really want I mean we can have a pronunciation off between you and Josh and kind of give you guys some random words to say Joshy can we just do this for Giggles I just want to throw it out there where can you go with a 16 I'll look that up but Boston University is up there the most random number possible plucking this out of nowhere just out of off the top of my head how about they don't have the list doesn't go to 16 it only has 18 all let's do 18 all righty hold on I'm doing some loading here goes to 18 so the list is going uh Vandercook South Carolina Lancaster I mean South Carolina wouldn't be bad you know brutin Parker got to be able to get into Bridgewater State never heard of any of these places you've heard of Bridgewater we used to call bwat State that's where that's where um um uh bellich che's girlfriend is went to school very smart girl yeah like a year ago like literally just graduated Albany Texas Southern East West University East West is that in the East or is it in the west who could say Chicago in the middle right in the middle Chicago oh my God 16 huh huh Virginia state there you go uh the average ACT for Bridgewater is uh 22 Che oh gosh all right so let me give you guys a breakdown you guys pick the pick the category and we can do a breakdown of my score we can figure out where I got uh where I was decent and where I was you know not at all let's let's start at the top let's go with the reading uh reading reading reading reading reading reading reading reading reading I I got two wrong key ideas and details I got a 22 out of 24 I got 10 out of 10 on Craft and structure you know of the of the excerpts yeah I got a 10 uh six out of six of uh integration of knowledge and ideas so I don't know what key ideas and details is but that's where I got too wrong on the reading portion of the act in the English portion of the act I got 20 out of 23 on production of writing which did not feel did not feel great I'm not going to lie production of writing it feels like is what I do I produce the writing but did you take this on the back end or the front end did you do like what was right out of the gate math I think it was English okay okay and then math which is heavy math is a 60-minute portion then science then writing or English and reading I get confused I don't know which was which if I'm being honest with you uh so that's where I got the mistakes on and then conventions of Standard English I don't know what that means but I got a 37 out of 40 on that conventions of Standard English I blame you guys so I think I am I I think ordinarily I'm very good at conventions of Standard English but I spend so much time with you Knuckleheads bring it down and he says things like negativity and then I get into the act and my brain is like oh negativity is a word Che sentence structure formation punctuation and usage punctuation I know it I don't know the difference between a and a colon and a semicolon Correct punctuation is so useless I don't know when to use a semicolon does anyone know when to use a semicolon does anyone use a semicolon a semicolon usually is when you have like I'm anticipating when I'm 70 to use the semic but other than that I have no idea I know how to use a colon more than a semicolon me too okay and I believe there were several questions where it was asking about whether or not to use a colon if if the punctuation in that portion was correct and I got to be honest I was guessing well but I mean I think you can use the context clues of you know when to use the colon so then you use the semicolon in the other but if they throw in a semicolon and then a a par not a parentheses a comma then I'm starting to go well which is the right one the other thing is is that people use commas like crazy oh yeah I'm not I'm not cra comma user like what is it called when you use a comma and right is that the word and right an Oxford comma I don't know when to use an Oxford comma yeah when you're using the list of three when do you put it to me it feels unnecessary I use the word and yeah and I mean with English not that you need defense here but there's just ways that it's written and done that isn't common like it's not L we we don't talk or write like that in standard like language well and that's the thing like even though you're writing these things for ESPN in your future genen like you're not writing you did have the piece that went up last year on the website but for that I had an editor I also had an editor who went through and was like she means semicolon here not colon right you're you're writing the piece so then you can read it it's not like anybody's seeing where you put your semicolon in the you know in the piece that's on television just for funsies as we are closing out this segment here let's just go through math for funsies just for S's and G all right preparing for higher math 13 out of 35 um good good news for you you yeah good news for you there's no higher math after this 37% sh 37% been there numbers and quantity you would think numbers of quantity how great numbers of quantity be three out of five all right 60% hey yeah that's that's that's passing D's get degrees algebra three out of eight the fact that I got three algebra problems correct though it feels like a win does it I mean I feel like algebra is kind of the basic stuff here isn't it Joshy could you do a quick Google search for me what are functions my knowledge of the word function is exclusive to conjunction Junction what's your function from Schoolhouse Rock that is literally the only time I've ever used the word function is when singing that song and I believe that was about English I believe that song that the Saturday morning little Bama jiggers those are awesome yes I'm Just a Bill yes I'm only a bill and I'm sitting on capital L it yeah absolutely exactly how it goes uh one of eight one of eight on functions Joshy what are functions on the ACT in the math section function questions are among the toughest problems that's for you uh these questions sometimes ask about domain and range or present you with a linear or quadric function and ask you to plug in numbers for variable and solve yeah I understood six words in that whole thing I understood all the words yeah yeah it's I don't know how to you know understand it seems to be the application of like like the formulas Josh what would be your strong suit uh probably the same thing as Jen really yeah math no no math I've I've never been good at math always well but again as we discussed with Jen going into it math is definitely a use it and lose it situation like you're not using algebra every day so 28 is solid though je was impressed che's impressed I was thinking 24 28's that's that's uh what I had to get in order to not take the test again right it was a 14 that was the standard that Craig set because everybody thought I'm a complete dumbass which I took offense to yeah but we bring you down again uh very quickly I'll rattle off the other things geometry three out of eight statistics and probability which to me I feel like I should have done better on because actually in sports we use statistics and probability three out of six integrating essential skills they don't have to be so insulting about it essential skills six 16 out of 25 that's what I did the best on I got 64% on that and then modeling um which I also have no idea what that is modeling 13 out of 27 I thought this was supposed to be quiet time what are we what are we modeling here so I looked up the it's literally the slope formula y^2 minus y1 like it's it's all basically retaining those formulas which I don't think anybody unless they are a statistician none no one in this room could certainly draw those for memory I don't think so I might have a chance at slope but other than that I got I got no prayer uh couple of texts I want to get to here quickly 80099 3776 Clint saying you use a semicolon in a place where you would basically start a new sentence but don't want to kind of seems useless does seem like what it feels like that's when I use a period but AJ actually is going to clarify this for us because AJ is an English teacher semicolon used to join independent clauses AKA complete sentences so it acts like a period except the second Clause must be closely related to the building of the first Clause oh yeah cleared it right up yeah so that's pretty simple concept there so if I use a period would I still be right because that's what it sure seems like yeah it seems like it yeah seems like if in you know when when you're unsure just use a period like it seems like the semicolon is just completely wor why have we not gotten rid of the semicolon I should be the next major campaign feel like whoever just text in can brag and show us how smart they are about semicolons that's the only use for it I think that's our that's our next thing that we tackle here on Jen gab and chewy what we start a campaign to eliminate the semic no can we please figure out the zipper merge first can we please attack and handle the zipper merge firsted I've I've yeah Josh has tried if you want to try go for it I feel we're long gone I feel it's too far gone at this point where you know at least we might have a fighting chance with the semic thought about editing out my commentary on the video I sent you guys yesterday which was people absolutely again bleeping up a zipper merge and I said bleeping idiots yeah I did like it because it was punctuated at the end with uh the small voice of your child in the back which on the front end included you swearing it's a perfect perfect encapsulation of driving I've never pretended not to swear in front of my children I thought Chase had a big game and was backed up in traffic I had no idea what the hell you're doing no that was a zipper merg that's why do they call us I I understand the zipper merge but it's just doesn't sound like you do yeah what questions do you have are they quick questions or for all right we're gonna we're gonna hold and we're gonna explain chewy a zipper merge we'll do that coming up next on Jen gab and chewy never miss out on a second of the show find Jen gab and chewy on Spotify apple or wherever you get your podcast with Wisconsin on this is Jen gab and chewy is it against the law to be a [ __ ] or no the law not yet I texted this to Jen earlier the law does protect some people from uh from things that are called an attractive new I'm 945 [Music] ESPN we've tried to tackle the topic of zipper merges before it's something that's been a pet peeve of Josh's and Jen was probably cursed at by some people yesterday when she was driving and there was a zipper merch and basically the left lane was empty Jen went as you're supposed to in a zipper merge all the way up to the front and then that's when you merge shuy you said you have questions about zipper merges and we're here to try to educate we want everybody to use the zipper merge correctly so traffic doesn't get as backed up as poorly there's still going to be some backups you're going to be moving slowly but what questions do you have about the zipper merge it's just a merge where do they come up with the zipper well I thought zipper merge was different from regular merging it really isn't it's the same merge as it's always been yeah it's essentially when you're going from two lanes to one yeah and for whatever reason I know Joshy has theorized that it's because people are nice in the midwest so you let people in so yesterday I got stuck in a 40 Car Lane where the left lane was complet completely open all the way to the merge point and the ignorance is the way a zipper merge is supposed to work is you are supposed to fill in all of the space up until the merge point and then back to Childhood take turns yes you go then I go then you go then I go then you go then I go then as far as the lanes go and and I don't understand why people do this thing there were people who were backed up uh this was on mecan road towards going to Cafe Hollander so between Homestead High School and Cafe Hollander cars all the way cars the whole way nobody in the left lane so I sent y all the video of me going into the left lane and then I happened to pull in front of a truck because it had left a huge space there and so pulled in theoretically I could have pulled all the way up and it would have been my turn to go into the merge as soon as the car next to me went and then after I go the car in the right lane would have gone I don't understand how how we have we have done so well on roundabouts we have figured out when to turn right on red we do a good job with all of the other nuances of driving four-way stops how does this thing all right we haven't figured our fourway stops yet that's that's but for the most part right there's always going to be a percentage of Knuckleheads well no it's just everybody waving everybody else through that's what a four wave nothing worse than a wave off who can wave the person through more Furious well what if you go to the blinks right you go the wave isn't working you go to the blinker and you start high beaming them um I this this blows my mind and again I have a driver Chase is learning to drive so you better believe he got an earful of how to accurately and correctly manage and navigate a zipper merch yeah people just don't know how they should put it on the digital boards or have a PSA or something the question Kevin has here on the talking text line 80099 3776 how do we know when the zipper merge is in effect simple answer always yeah well so a zipper merge to differentiate between a standard merge like when you're get on the freeway is like the lane is coming to an end and it's blocked off like there is a dead Point whereas kind of on on a freeway those Lanes literally just merge together which is different like a zipper merge is meant you're going from two lanes to one lane that is essentially the difference so the point is to go all the way up to that and what you're and you're you're zippering because you're going from two separate pieces then into one and making it a connection there and interlocking is also the important part the every other scenario there because that's how you're be going to be able to quickly efficiently efficiently navigate the situation right right because I mean I end up in a situation a lot where the somebody's trying to get over so furiously the lane that is being ended like will be backed up because they're trying to get up like 300 yards back and they're fully completely do a stop and it's like that you're making it worse for literally everyone keep going yes just go just go and and and again I think a lot of it is just just in ignorance to how the zipper merge is supposed to work because the perception clearly yesterday was that people thought they were doing the right thing by being in the right lane and leaving the left lane completely empty and that is egregiously wrong that is doing the wrong thing and I guarantee while while you were calling them bleeping idiots they were reciprocating in your car as you were zipping up to the front of the line in the left lane single finger salute I saw it because people like yeah people try to block then oh yeah somebody like the blocking yeah you kind of swerve out and then you know you got a couple tires into that left lane yeah because they they think you're not supposed to go up there the problem with asking people like to put on a poll or something do you know how to operate a zipper merges everybody thinks they know how to do it so everybody is going to respond yes when in reality the experience I had yesterday and the experience that many of us have had at various times is that you don't you don't know more people don't know than do no yeah I would I mean I did the PSA I believe you were out for it and I would guarantee there's a significant portion of people who are hearing for the first time that you're supposed to use that other lane that's being merged all the way up because people just think you get over as soon as possible to make it easier which then in turn just makes everything worse and more delayed no I mean you get over as soon as possible when you know like there's an accident in the right lane you know officers fire you know hey try to give them as much room as possible yes then get over as quickly as possible when it's just construction which again you don't have to find look far to find when it's construction it's zipper merch use all lanes available I would be willing to take a portion of my salary from Good Karma Brands here and put up Billboards around the Milwaukee area that just instruct maybe like one two three pictures right picture instructions a lot of people are visual Learners you take a gander up there at the thing and it tell and it says brought to you by Jen gab and chewy I would be willing to do that who's with me I like that do it by myself yeah but you could put it on the digital boards because all you'd have to say is use both lanes and then merge I got it we need like a PSA that airs of you guys playing with Matchbox cars and showing proper how to merge cuz let's get some Hot Wheels I don't want you guys doing it filming car rides cuz I don't trust you guys enough for that so let's use Matchbox car first of all I love this idea I'm picturing Gabe wearing a wearing a zipper jacket and we're we're tied on the jacket okay you see and we're like what you got there Gabe oh this is just my track jacket and my zipper speaking of zippers yes and chew is over in the corner playing with cars and we just like walk over there Wayne in gar style I think I think we don't even really need the Wisconsin Dot's approval for this we can put put together our own video and then just get it out to like the local news stations and everything and have them say hey play this for us would you I'm in we're make let's make it happen if you've got a little extra inventory tonight yeah don't put it in your broadcast teach people teach people you got connections Dario works at one say hey this is public service I'll do you one better I'm on around the horn this afternoon on PN if I win FaceTime guess what we're talking about guess what we're talking about guess what I'm talking about there is zero debate about that there may be something big in the sports world Willie ma could die again and I will talk about zipper merge in my FaceTime today on around the horn yeah some things are just a little bit more important you ever hit an orange Barrel m this morning I almost did this morning and it wasn't just me it was every single vehicle one of the barrels and I assume chewy this happens more regularly than not the wind must have blown it into the lane yeah and I don't know whose job it is to put it back I don't know if somebody's supposed to hop out of their car and be a Good Samaritan but every single car you're driving you're driving you're Drive you're Drive yeah now all of a sudden and that's what I did I made that sound too and I did I was like very lucky that the Range Rover the right lane was it a little bit closer seems like you may have a story about hitting one of the orange barrels big guy it's tough getting that orange paint off of the bumper of the car when you live with Miss Crazy how'd you get this Dent somebody who you know owns used to own auto body shops and can pick up on those little details we used to have a billboard actually because it happens a lot oh I'm sure look at those barrels they mangled disaster they're not really perfect cylinders anymore no not so much so how did you pick off yours ah who could say wasn't my fault rarely is shouldn't look at your phone and drive at the same time there's a PSA for you seems like we're putting together a series of driving PS exists and hasn't taken fairly certain that's been covered pretty sure it's past the statute of limitations that was a truck ago RIS it yeah let's let's just yeah Joshy as your lawyer is advising you to you know maybe shut the I just want to get over to the talking text line very quickly because Dave from Aaron says I mean you never want to go too fast with the zippers am I right fellas and I just changed my uh storyboard it's not going to be you zipping up the jacket it's going to be you guys zipping up the fly and it'll grab your attention exactly speaking of zippers and then we'll go into the PSA I thought that was a myth until it happened to me oh that's fair yeah you thought it was just a story people tell I thought it was just a thing that they did in the movies of a potential thing and then and then you snag yourself and you realize this is a real problem yeah he kind of maybe not really paying attention next thing you know there's a little e yeah that kind of lingers for a little bit too yeah scars trust me it scars wait a minute I'm curious about the thought process where that wouldn't linger I'm curious about you thinking that how how bad could it hurt yeah exactly yeah it's it's tiny teeth I mean I think guest jeans had it figured out when they tried going to the buttons but it takes you wind up peeing yourself half the time CU you can't get the damn things unboxed that is true by the way the buttonfly is the worst go to the bathroom at the first notification not the third notification sometimes you got to finish your beer yeah you don't want to crack the seal trying to hold off as long as you can cuz once you PR crack the seal you yeah exactly you got all that well leave the fly down I mean I get grief cuz I'm a lift up leg peer now like when you're at the jail like a dog no no no no instead of pulling it down in the front you just lift up a leg like the bottom of your we need to take a break we need to regroup investigate speaking of which I got to take a leak tune in to the nalysis show each and every week bus bler anasis n kumbo sits down with special guests to have fun and honest jump on slow down on 945 ESPN cled up been close to folks you have have you ever felt the pain so powerful so heavy you collapse no well never [Music] had if you happen to missed the first segment course go back you listen to the whole thing Wisconsin on demand when the show was posted later today but we did reveal that Jen has completed the ACT we have her test scores we have the results and Jen how did the ACT go I got a 28 I got a 28 on the ACT 20 it help me with the math as we know math was not my strong suit on the ACT I got a 19 on that how many years ago would it have been that I actually took the act for realsies take it the summer between Junior and Senior year yeah so that would have been 1997 so yeah you're almost 30 years almost 30 years mhm so to get a 28 which is one less than I got when I actually prepared for the ACT that feels like a win you guys that feels like oh yeah time win the majority of our audience didn't get that one they took it you were trying to convince us that a 20 was going to be a win for you when we initially started talking about this but then again I took the reading and the writing and I was like a nailed it and I did worse than I thought I did on the English uh 32 on the English which meant I told you I got like six wrong or something like that I only got two wrong on the reading which gave me a 35 but I knew that the math and the science were going to bring it way down so to walk out of there with a 28 getting a 19 on the math and a 24 on the science I'm basically a genius is what I'm trying to say speaking of geniuses what you I've never been called a genius well sarcastic I say it all the time oh you nobody's ever said listen genius so you made us stop or regroup and think what what what are you doing now you're lifting your leg to pee no you don't lift the leg you just instead of untying cuz I live in gemm shorts yeah live in gem yeah and how many times did they knot up for no reason and you sit there and you got to take a leak and you're undoing the knot and it's it's coming I get grief for just lifting up one leg of the shorts and bringing it out the side door instead of going out the I don't understand how this works you're L right here don't it's right here yeah much more efficient put it on the pole I guarantee I will take 30% of the people you don't do it josy just you wear gym shorts all the time 30% of the people in here thought it was about to get X Josh I have done it before I don't go to it often why the times I've done it is more like this is fun let's give this a shot more than it's much more efficient so hold on is this like what my daughters do when they're in their leotards or their bathing suits where they just just pull over you pull equivalent say the bottom part of the leotard you just pull it to the side yeah you basically just roll up a leg of your shorts to the point where it sneaks out the bottom yes I guarantee at least 50% of guys do that W we've gone from 30 to 50 how often are you doing it every single time what every single time every and I pee probably 12 times a day at least you you be 12 times during the show this this begs the question too since we're here might as well dive all the way in do you go through the barn door or over the barn door oh I never use the barn door oh I go through that the barn door is horrible really uhhuh see well that's how you ended up getting yeah that's how you end up zipping up the bar door I don't know what the barn door is you know how underwear there's a slot yeah yeah that's called The Barn Door yeah I thought it was on the back of like old school pajamas where you had the two little snaps so you could no the barn doors you slide it open go right out of it yeah easy what would that exist for if not for that but it's so stupid it's never evolved it's never evolved there should just be a hole there they don't what the hell you need to cover it up for well that's the point of the underwear I know but you got to no that is so uncomfort I guarantee no one does that wait we need to put this on the poll but I don't know how to even phrase put on the pole a leak we've got Allan saying chewy is Right we've got Stevie saying this is wild chew I can't support you for this one we're all over the place on the talking text line seems very divisive how would you even logistically write this Joshy like when going to the bathroom number one because you have to distinguish between number one and number two do you pull your pant leg up well it's it onlys access the unit I'm I'm trying to figure out it only works if you're wearing shorts have to be wearing shorts and they have to be elastic of sorts or two shorts cuz I've got shorts on right now that are fabric it ain't going to work with these and denim is out you don't yeah a th% like denim denim you got to go the short enough I feel like I've seen Brett wear a few shorts that are short enough that would just work H that would be hard yeah you got to have the flexibility of the athletic shorts in order to pull off this move yeah I think a lot of people are in my Camp I thought today was going to be the day that I revealed my ACT score to the world instead it is the day that taught me we're revealing different way going to the bathroom apparently this is apparently the move when you have to pee during a soccer game you take a knee and bring it out to the side yeah that coming from Isaac is it a televised soccer game or well you go in the corner yeah just corner kick yeah it's much more efficient T from Ashton I just recently even learned that many people don't use the Barn Door wild I think there's more people barn door and then he said please don't pull this I was just going to let you guys talk around you and hope you forgot well I will say this and that's fair because we often do I will say this and you guys will agree with me it's much easier in box your shorts than it is in briefs uh yeah right mhm right it feels like the less elastic the better here yeah yeah the the modern ones that are like that new fangled Under Armour material those are fine are you boxers or briefs I'm boxer briefs boxer briefs yeah what are you Victoria Secret bikini full bottom I told you we don't do thongs anymore once we cross the 40 threshold we stop got rid that thong underwear Nick says I've only seen chew's lifting the shortle move once by a 60-year-old man in my golf league I've tried it a few times s never feels right yeah dangerously close to hitting your leg who I mean Matt thinks that 99% of men use the barn door and Tom says he's 100% with Chewy so we really have sparked quite the debate this morning here it's all over the place can't quite figure it all out are you dreaming of a new home this look at our horny little boy good for him like everybody's so supportive of jannis they just kind of look past it on 45 [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] ESPN really open up a can of worms today big guy sorry um Ron of the key saying his underwear doesn't even have barn doors uh Cody saying that he bought some um Volcom brand boxers they come with no Barn Door he's an avid Barn Door user so now we may have to go the chewy method that we were just discussing there I do own some non Barn dorables so can we can we at least pull barn door no Barn Door yeah can we can we just put up no context poll barn door or over the top just which one are you barn door because I feel like this part of the debates like a lot of people are weighing in on the barn door or the no barn door I'll do it even if I get that by Ashton okay I just if we put up a no context and just those are the two options I think that's what we have to do and you're out right I'm out I'm I'm over the top yeah I'm not a barn door guy I'm through the leg you're not far from down we're non barnor guys I guess that's where the similarities end between you and me and I was telling you how it started I believe when I played because sometimes during the middle of practice you'd have to to take a leak and go into the Hudson center okay and you tie those waist thinger miggers so tight that you don't want to sit there and Fiddle CU half the time it knots up that's where the leg pull came from I believe that that would make sense so you're just like going in the corner of the like when you guys untie your gym shorts it doesn't knot up on you half the time where it forms into a knot cuz you pull the bow and all of a sudden you're in there I feel with most of the gym shorts I have I'm not tying them like the elastic waistband is tight enough where I don't have to worry about you never got deep panded in someone's stand on your shorts as youing I mean has that happened to you recently the last time I did it I did the blammer at my 50th anniversary and people were on the ground laughing cuz his tidy whes were a little baggy a little and you know what happens with old man yeah thanks for this no I don't need any more visual bong Jen has no idea she's like I 100% know what you're talking about do I'm regretting the decision to give Gabe the Chien just trying to save my voice here I said Gabe why don't you drive the show today and look where you've driven us I feel like look we've driven to a place where people are reacting we're doing a great job because you've you know been able to ignore most of the conversations thus saving your voice for around the horn are you familiar with uh the Thelma and Louise are you that's where You' driven us okay we all know what the blammer wears for underwear okay we why he's a boxer brief guy just said he was a Whitey tiny guy he's he's a brief guy were they white I thought they were blue I wasn't there so no I sent you a picture he's talking about the picture that he sent of us of him just in the hotel room with no shirt how many times I got to tell you I met in Black that sucker said it he's trying to make sure you remember is what he's trying to do he's trying he knows it's in there somewhere he's trying to jog the memory for I want it released to the public is what I want no I know we're never doing that we'd get our account taken down that's just not safe for anybody all right where we at now I'm trying to think of a way to apply this to at all yeah I I have no idea I think the the one thing I've heard with uh uh musolini is basically like the onesie things where basically you end up having to get fully naked to use the bathroom oh like a romper yes you're wearing a romper that's I've heard of that in the stall uh the other thing that um the other wardrobe element that women struggle with are the uh bodysuits and that's where there's a little snappies down there in your crot and so you have to undo the snappies now some women have resorted to not snapping the bodysuits but then you run the risk of the tail yes of the bodysuit being outside of your pants and that's not a good look uh not really not unless you're at a wedding standing up and you're a male remember the Tails oh guys are probably too young talking about the suits like the tuxedos tuxedos yeah that was a bad look that was horrible we should not revisit that either did you have a tuxedo with Tails no okay are we talking like the like the fish tail like on a coat but those were go he's talking about tuxedo Tails they were like long yeah panels that came off the back of the tuxedo coat huh it was like having a train bad look yeah kind I would say like late 80s early 90s type look yeah I'm not quite sure when they went away but I'm glad they went away it is funny to just be like you know what this needs a tail it's kind of like the should is missing tail oh I'm Pro shoulder pads though you are yeah why because they make any jacket look better they make a shirt look better like it's all very dramatic I'm in on it Angie Cuts them out I was going to say but isn't there a degree where like they can be subtle but at at a certain point they were like no I'm not talking about Melanie Griffin Working Girl shoulder pads they're now they're a little more Sleek they're a little more working girl yeah 9 to five trying to think of something else from that era where the women were wearing shoulder pads we are bigger on the push-up raw and with that we're going to be back in 2 minutes maybe we won't be we'll see we'll all find out together Jen Gabe and chewy are back after this on 945 ESPN heavy congestion across the Milwaukee traffic system seeing 43 North and South backed up from White Fish Bay all the way down to North and one more thing welcome to castlers hey this is Gabe Nel you're listening to 945 ESPN wkti and wkti HD Milwaukee a local the owned Good Karma brand station Showtime the right way to start your day this is Jen gab and chewy oh look at what we have here a Christmas card from Lany thank you well you didn't have to go to that trouble soft nips on guys don't look good well look at what we have here a Christmas card from Lany thank you well you didn't have to go to that trouble it doesn't look good guys look a little yeah okay I didn't even see the picture how did it come out well you know it's a picture oh yeah look at that looks good K did a good job yeah well I mean how hard is it to take a picture like you look so much better when you get out of a cold pool because everything's tight as opposed to 90° with no shirt on and puffers I'm just saying what did you look at this picture carefully carefully because I'm not sure and and correct me if I'm wrong but I think I see a n this is Jen Gabe and chewy broadcasting live from the grber LA offices one call that's all Studios at the Avenue with Gabe Nel and Mark Jamara here's Jen [Music] L not everyone can do as well in everything as as Jen did in the AC 28 for Jen she got her results back after taking it a couple of weeks ago what was after you took the kind of little practice tests that you did what was your expectation because I know you were trying to talk us into a 20 and I think Josh kind of poo pooed that pretty quick but what was your expectation I knew the math was going to be tricky and I didn't know what to expect from science because honestly I didn't take a science practice test but Chase had told me because he took a PSAT and they had told the students uh he's going to be a sophomore at Homestead they had told them they can't ask science questions because the curriculum across the state is so and maybe it's even Nationwide is so varied that you can't ask a lot of science in-depth science questions but what they could do was present graphs and info charts and then you could glean information from those and so I kind of knew it would just be about reading the charts so that's why I got what did I tell you got 22 24 on science so I could read most of the charts but there were two questions in every section that were then basic science knowledge like what's an acid what's a base you know like those things like you're like oh I used to know that or maybe if you're a you know regular Jeopardy player you still know that but so that was my impression going in and I thought I would do really well on the reading because in the practice test I got 10 out of 10 on the reading and the writing so I was a little frustrated about the semicolons why is science and not like history because it's applied knowledge versus retention so are you able to do these things versus do you just specifically it's so specific right I mean how many people are scientists how many people deal with science I mean we all deal with math we all do with deal with English sure bet there's a lot of people deal with writing yeah I mean we had somebody on the talking text line say how I mean they basically were flipped like when they took the ACT they were flipped and had great Math and Science scores no shock that they're an engineer right so Engineers have to deal with the math and science stuff quite a bit especially when you're talking about the charts and graphs and grabbing the information off of that but the Green Bay Packers are a team that did not do as well over at espn.com with their offseason Grade B minus is what Seth welder ended up giving the Green Bay Packers for an offseason grade uh they did this for every single team where they had the biggest move move they liked move they disliked um does B minus seem a little bit low to you guys yes it seemed a little bit low to me so so what went into the criteria again uh so biggest move move that he liked move that he disliked Seth Walder over at espn.com if you had to guess Che what move he didn't like what would you guess offseason moves uh well they probably love Josh Jacobs right offseason move no it's someone they got rid of that they don't like they got rid of no this is fun the move that they actually don't like at all or he doesn't like at all was Josh Jacobs and and Gabe do you have it in front of you yes because I again I'm trying to I got it right here so biggest move was signing McKenna the move that Seth Walder liked was the mckin signing move I disliked signing Josh Jacobs for 12 and a half million fully guaranteed green ma made an odd choice at running back cutting Aon Jones and paying Jacobs instead while I appreciate getting younger Jacobs has just one season over the past four with positive rush yards over expectation per NFL nextg stats and while I understand moving on from Jones I wouldn't want to pay real money for Jacobs though it's mitigated by the fact that it's only 12 a half million fully guaranteed so left side of the mouth right side of the Mouth left side of the mouth right side of the mouth right he understands why they moved on from Aaron Jones he doesn't like that they gave Josh Jacobs the money that they gave him but he realizes that the money is sort of a dummy contract right one onee deal so I think that's why I was like what I don't understand because you understand why they needed to move on from Aaron Jones right yes we believe that Josh Jacobs is going to be more productive than Aaron Jones was for the most part at Le especially exactly I was going to say other than the way that Aaron Jones would catch the ball out of the backfield and be a threat to catch the ball um a pass catcher so so to me it's like it's a it's a lowrisk gamble isn't it Gabe he led the NL in rushing two years ago yeah two years well this is what they want they they feel that they don't need that much production catching the ball out of the back field with Aaron Jones because they have a plethora of people that can do that down the field and Josh Jacob is more than capable of doing that I understand that but I think they want more of a pure running back the Gambit the Gambit for why he doesn't like it is in the rushing yards overexp expected yeah is basically he's not creating more than the lanes he's given is is what it is it's a nerd statistic you can take it or leave it well but then he see it's like he tries to bolster the B minus grade with the offensive line and how well David bakari isn't there anymore and Yash nyman left and John ran isn't there and they were both above average even though nyman only played or started rather in one game in 2023 but then he mentions in passing how they added Jordan Morgan like I feel like the off season I feel like they earned an a for the off season I mean I think they addressed every need we had talked about what they we thought this Packers team needed they addressed the defensive needs they addressed you know we were even joking like do they need to go after a linebacker it's never really been a priority for the Green Bay Packers and then they go out there and address that position show me the position the Packers didn't address that they should have this this off [Music] season a little more defensive line I would think I mean obviously they like what they have and are going to give more opportunities to some of the young guys but I've got questions about the defensive land especially the interior but I mean that's pretty far down the list and he doesn't even mention that yeah as a reason for docking them my concern would be the opposite safety of McKenna because he's going to have to cover a lot of ground especially if they want to bring mcken up into the box um he's going to have to have a hell of a range I don't think they have that right now I mean that's what they want Bullard to be yeah yeah well we'll see uh offensive line I they address yeah they they went out and got Morgan I mean you can only do so much but it doesn't make sense CU I if you want to call the Josh Jacob signing a b and then mcken is in a minus just at worst yeah B minus just no B where where does that fall throughout the league it it's I mean about middle of the pack so teams the Eagles got an A Chiefs got an A minus Chargers got an A minus Dolphins got an A excuse me jens's doph got an A minus the Patriots got an A minus and then the Bears got a B+ just amongst other teams that got B pluses so it's I mean it's probably if I mean I don't know 15 16 something like that M the pack wait I'm not looking at the list you've got it in front of you yes does that mean like what's the lowest a team got are there a lot of teams that had C's or Worse yeah a handful of teams like the Cowboys here have a D+ Raiders got a D New Orleans got a D for the uh Vikings got a C minus lions got a C uh okay I mean he was tough grading but this might be just beat up time because everyone's been gushing this offseason about the Packers now it's a little beat up time because I'm reading an article here that says Jordan love is not a top 10 quarterback sure so we might be going through a little beat up period before camp and I'm okay with I've said I I like the idea of everybody being on board and supporting and thinking this team could you know be one of the elite teams in the League this year but I also like being under the radar I also like sneaking up on people I like people not knowing what they're getting themselves into when they cross the line of scrimmage or when they go toe-to-toe against you and I know that the success that they had at the end of last season doesn't really afford you that luxury because people are going to be eyes wide open but I'm okay with a few of these pundits sitting here and being like eh they're not that great they're not that great but you know it's going to eliminate any sort of flying out of the radar that contract that Jordan love is supposed to get yeah whenever Jordan love signs that contract there goes all sorts of under the radar he won't be under the radar anymore because he's going to be one of if not the highest paid quarterback in the league if two assigns for 50 does that hurt him no no why because you're still going to get the lawen deal well then why isn't it done just in case the I think Monday or Tuesday yeah you ask my concern level now is a four with Jordan love as far as him not signing G two R it's rising I assume yeah mine Rose a little bit because I thought once Lawrence signed because that's the closest comparable this deal would be done three days after and it hasn't been so and I'm leaning towards the fact that Packers are trying to cheap out here a little bit I mean at this point I don't think we're going to get this done like it'll be officially announced when he comes back for training like if we get into training camp and there's nothing announced that's when you become nervous about that deal because like you said I don't know what what are we waiting for that's what I'm saying what's holding it up should he hold out if he holds out that's telling me the Packers are still trying to cheap out no I if they are could you justify a hold out well but that's the thing he's got a he's still has to show up so he's got to come up with some sort of injury my hamstring wo my my Bow's kind of tight my neck hurts I I just think that's not a good look I I don't you want to take that step I think if it has to come to that and you're even debating a hold in you say bleep it tag me well they don't have to tag him cuz he's under contract this year but the following have to yeah you say we're not talking unless you're talking most money does Jordan love have the Leverage is he coming at it from a position of power where he could say to the Packers here's the deadline I want it done by here or I'm not negotiating during the season correct negotiating during the season kind of sucks correct and I think that it would be we would understand if he said I don't want this to be a distraction I don't want to have to worry about having a good game and feeling like oh wow now they're really going to come through and then having a bad game and being like Oh I gave them justification for not and living and dying by every pass and every play and every Drive I don't want to do that I want it done by this point or we're shelving it until the off season what point is that the beginning of the regular season like you leave that window open all throughout preseason I mean you run a risk yeah Playas I would get I would get ticked off when I was negotiating in the middle of the season and this negotiate went on for probably a solid four weeks where it was serious and they will use all means they can to lowball you you know and mine was well you're in the training room I'm like big deal so are 45 other guys it's a violent game you know yeah it hurts so they'll do stuff to try to get you to Cave I mean this is the quarterback position like this is this is the one but you have the comparable yeah that's what I'm saying but I I guess I'm not as worried as you are as what I'm saying too because what we just saw a picture of him where is he in France yes Florence yeah or Italy yeah he's he's somewhere in Europe right now so he's not he's not flying back from his vacation to put pen to paper when can do that a month from now when he has to report for training camp if I were to take the sunny approach to it any of anything not being done already is them like figuring out how much is a signing bonus how much is signing bonus at the moment of signing or spread out and then how much is guaranteed like the Packers have nothing to stand on to say you deserve less than Trevor Lawrence like you're just not it to me like you applied it to they were saying you're in the training room like what are they going to say to Jordan he just goes well that's what it costs well they're going to say nine games that's what they're saying and they're saying nine games and we have the leverage we have you here for three more years whether you like it or not and then I say if you want me pay me yeah or draft another quarterback my whole point is this to if if what you think is happening is happening that the Packers are trying to go cheap at the most important position in a franchise in the league would Jordan be well within his rights to hold in my answer is yes I and I think that the players and his teammates who we know feel very strongly about him in a positive way would understand if plus if you're goody and I don't know how much this actually factors in but I think it has to at least a little bit Good's been a divisive figure in his time and it seems like he's got a real a lot of Goodwill going right now with the way that the team performed last year the last few drafts that he's had do you get rid of all that Goodwill that you've built up with the fan base by trying to go cheap with your quarterback and I I think that you have to think about that you don't want to do this with a you know a potential Super Bowl team my question for you is right do you guys think right now Trevor Lawrence's deal is the middle you think it's the middle the middle of what six the the middle cuz I'm thinking why can't you just meet in the middle the Packers are offering L asking 58 and the Packers are saying no 52 I know that's not the middle just roll just work with it yep yep just work with him just work with him do you think that Trevor Lawrence's deal right now is the middle I think Trevor Lawrence's deal is the bottom yeah no way see now then then I'm with the Packers I'm sorry but I'm with the Packers what if he says I want 56 give it to him now you waited way too long you got to give him what Lawrence got well yeah but what if he says I want 56 a year and Lawrence is at 55 what if Jordan love wants to be the highest P then you just sit there and beat him down over $4 million per year but you wanted to be the highest paid player at your position at one point yes but they were losing but they were losing leverage with me because the season was going every game you play and you play pretty well they lose leverage and they knew that because I wound up signing in like week 12 or something like that but it started at week six or seven but I mean I'd just like to know where the middle is right now again don't you think that Adam has been giving us a pretty good blueprint without saying I was I was listening to Adam when he was on with you guys earlier this weekend of course everybody can find that on Wisconsin on demand if they haven't gotten to listen to it yet we also have some Snippets available on our social channels didn't it sound like he knows didn't it sound like he's got information about what the numbers are when he was looking over at a sheet and talking about the Trevor Lawrence deal and how it relates to Jordan I feel like he left us some breadcrumbs there as to what the numbers have been but I I wasn't and that's when I changed my concern level after we talked to Adam cuz he didn't seem all that confident that he didn't seem 100% sure that this deal is getting done before training camp no I I don't think I don't think you can be but and you know what is a great dovetail to this conversation guys the report that some NFL owners are discussing a potential separate salary cap for just quarterbacks due to how crazy the quarterback Market has gotten that report that was floating around on social media yesterday yeah and it's so you mean that that was over at cbssports.com um some owners want it doesn't seem like it's an actual possibility that'll really took off other players because player yeah exactly well it took me off it would have to be negotiated and I don't know how the players union would approve it let let's let's be really clear here that a salary cap or a specific one for the quarterbacks would be bad for the quarterbacks it would mean they get paid less they would be depressing their contracts so I don't think a quarterback would even want it as much as you say the players would be unhappy I think that would also be the case but what they're trying to do is stop this from spiraling out of control which would mean the quarterbacks get paid less which and whenever we talk about the CBA and there are issues that certain players are trying to get pushed through we always talk about the disparity between the halves and the have knots and how guys like Aaron Rogers when he has at times campaigned for certain things to be included in the CBA he's trying to appeal to the quote unquote Have Nots and say like I know that the money is different up here in the penthouse versus you know the 13th floor but this is why we all need to be on board for these sorts of things I wonder how they would push that through with the CBA to your point Joshy the quarterbacks don't aren't going to want to go for it because they're the ones who would suffer financially do the other players care that much yeah they do and I'll tell you who cares about about how much the quarterbacks are making and I'll tell you why it's because your special teamers in backups practice 10 times harder than a quarterback or a starting left tackle or anyone they're the ones that are out there on special teams they're the ones that have to run scout team and they're the ones that if your safety is taking a day off or what do they call it veteran rest or whatever those are the but in this proposal the quarterbacks are getting less money than they currently getting so there's a part of me that wonders if those players would say could yeah they should be closer to what the rest of us are making they just have to be informed of that well but you know there are just too many qu what do you do if you're the 49ers oh with pie yeah yeah that's what I'm saying you're Sal for him is that use it or lose it money that's separate for the quarterbacks there's there's too many questions too many things plus not every owner's on board because some owners have already paid their quarterbacks yeah and and they would have to like you would have to basically pit the quarterbacks against everyone else hey everyone else gets more money the Packers the quarterbacks get less which I don't know how well that's going to work because they're greedy NFL orders so yeah is your business looking for localized banking Solutions and a strategic partner Fifth Third Bank has been year or two years ago couple years ago yeah this is hard yeah this is tougher than you think um what about the other I'm just trying to think of recent deals what about the other one that the lion signed to uh Penny Su yeah is he on the list P Su makes 28 million that would make him below TJ tied with the different wide receivers so he's 12 on list this tougher than you think 800 990 376 into the world with the WIA and yesterday A lot of people online were upset because this didn't even make it to a past a committee this did not get to a vote the way that the nil issue did that we discussed earlier this summer did not get to a member votes but it was shut down once again and this is one issue that a lot of people get frustrated with and that is the shot clock in high school basketball not going to be having it once again in the 2425 school year as it was shut down no real reason why just was shut down reasons in the past have been cost and getting people to run it but it it doesn't seem like we're anywhere close to getting a shot clock in high school basketball here in Wisconsin it's dumb yeah it is real dumb it's really shortsighted um I've been to a number of basketball games at the high school level in the last year Chase playing basketball for Homestead this year and too many times no shot clock is a defense it's a strategy y you take advantage of it You' got a guy who's out there dribbling the ball or passing passing passing passing passing passing passing passing passing passing passing passing oh is that annoying are you getting annoyed with me saying the word passing over and over again imagine being in the stance watching it happen now again there are arguments to that like go get it go make a play but I just feel like the game at every other level is played with a shot clock so I understand the expense the concern is like four grand to 5 grand for most schools to be able to install the clock and then of course you have to have somebody to operate it but I think you could probably get volunteers to do it much like you do to do the buzzer and to do the book and to do some of the other things push the broom at halftime uh at some of these local high schools um I'm surprised Gabe that this was not the vote to push it through this was not the vote to say yes or no we will have them this was just to advance the conversation and it got shot down it feels very shortsighted on the part ofin how many states do not have the shot clock do you have any idea very small I agree with Jen it's just foolish but they're so out of touch and every time I hear the DI the the whatever WIA I get the shakes because some of the stuff they do is just I mean how much does a shot clock cost well here's the issue someone to operate a shot clock well I I think you should be able to find you know a parent to volunteer I think that should be relatively easily for most schools but I I don't know how much the shock clock costs but I know every school when when you're talking about stuff going on within MPS right now and Milwaukee Public Schools not having you know money because they didn't fill out right paperwork and they're having funding withdrawn by the state like there are real Financial issues going on in a lot of districts and I think that's what this comes down to is yeah it doesn't cost that much but could that $45,000 that a cost for a shot clock go somewhere else because not a lot of these schools districts are flush with cash can't you just and this is how they do it in high school football I'm sure you know Jen there's no um play clock in high school football it's just a referee that is in in the defensive back field that when it gets to five the quarterback knows that he starts counting it down from five can't you get a volunteer with a stopwatch that there's got to be a way to it if cost is the issue right yeah I mean cuz football finds a way to do it but yeah but it would have to be on the to do to go that way it would have to be on one of the officials because you can't just trust a random volunteer with a shot clock and then just start yelling five four because I mean I don't know that's that's you know who who knows if it's an actual thing and then you've got a coach you trust volunteers with a bunch of other stuff you trust volunteers with handling the possession arrow you trust volunteers handling there's something there to keep them accountable like you actually have to display it people see it and if you're just doing it off of a stopwatch that nobody else can see you're you're GNA fudge a couple seconds off I pull up my computer right now I could go on Amazon I can get one of these digital clocks I know we use the computer here we get one of these digital clocks I have at my gym you know that sits over the free weight area grab one of those and you have somebody there who can mechanic uh not mechanically but manually do it again you'd have to push through the legislation first that says that you would want a shop shot clock I think players want a shot clock I think coaches want a shot clock I think it is an evolution of the game I think it feels very 1950s Peach basket when you start watching a game where a team is just holding the ball Josh you did the research what do we got 27 States currently use the shot clock 23 do not surprising yeah so I mean that I don't think Wisconsin's falling behind necessarily H they're on the wrong end of they're on theong but it's not it's not like it's egregious and they one of 10 left right I don't know I I just see the cost in and again like the people who want to help out and participate in Youth Sports are harder and harder to find nowadays they're just it just is it's a reality of the situation and I I can see that it's I I I understand where the schools are coming from now not even giving them the opportunity to have that voice that that's a different thing do we have any idea how much it would cost to like instate the across the state like is there a number is it like $3 million between all the school districts cuz couldn't someone rich just do it like if someone said hey I've got money I want to pay for this would that just happen we change the name of the shot clock to like the from shot clock you know the folks that own the fox town area over in my neck of the woods or like brought to you by and it's some Corporation I understand individually across districts and like different places it could cost money but it seems like such a small problem when you boil it down to the Grand scale of things how about how about you know doesn't the senior graduating class when they exit leave a gift for the school oh yeah like a sign or a bench or something like that right like there's a the something I know what you're saying it's like a a sign out in front of the school and it says donated by the class of 2024 or you know a bench in the garden and donated by the class of 2023 uh just a search um so if it costs let's say $5,000 at 516 member schools we're talking about $25 million Statewide is what it would cost have a fun put put the fundraiser T schools do amount of fun booster club you could put it on the booster clubs to try to figure it out but again I think that's up to have a car wash look I was just Car Wash I was going to drive by that one car washes work for Dodgeball movie is 20 years old exactly and it famously didn't work for them because they had a better idea across the street you know what's next on get in there nice and de is a lemonade stand he's got kiddos making bracelets yeah right why car washes aren't a thing anymore I could not tell you the last time I saw a car wash is a fundraiser being old but I also think that there are car washes on every corner like in my town alone there's four car washes it's a lucrative business you own car washes do you want do you want these schools undercutting your business in order to pay for the shot clocks and the communities you own the car washes I love it when you forget the details of your life we have to catch you up so yes I am getting old yes getting yes getting oh mentality
