good morning today we are joined by Amy Weaver uh Amy is the vice president of growth for exp realy but today she's talking to us in her other capacity and that is the executive director of exp's luxury division so Amy first of all thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule uh I appreciate this so much tell us first of all how did exp luxury come about um you know there's been a lot of interest in creating a luxur division for a while at exp and um we just uh the timing finally felt right and we had the right agents involved to help us launch it um we have an amazing advisory um luxury advisory Council and um and they're really particular and the things that they like and how luxury is supposed to be and I'm so thankful for that um because we have an amazing product so um I think it was just the right timing the right people um the right time it was just time for us to to get it started um and we saw amazing uh opportunities with the Partnerships that we were able to land with it so we just made it happen we just uh quickly made the decision it's a need in the area and uh we were just excited to to grab hold of it with these amazing agents um at exp that's great how is exp luxury different from other real estate companies you know um exp is already super collaborative we open our playbooks um you know where we help each other um build build better businesses and so if you think of it as like a boutique brokerage brokerage within exp um the community is just amazing they support each other um they're willing to jump on calls we have weekly masterminds um with our luxury agents there are tons of referral opportunities because of the reach that we have um is scalable because we're so large um so if you think of you know us really having an inside brokerage within exp uh and all the Partnerships uh the vendor partners that we've partnered with it's just amazing um it's a really tight-knit community and I think that sets us apart from everyone else because we're not competitive with each other obviously we're competitive in nature um but we really are here to lock arms and help each other grow grow in the real estate business business and grow with their luxury transactions so um I think that's probably the biggest piece and then we've done a really good job of partnering with um you know Lux ft luxury presents um Blended scents like all these different partnership that we've put in place so that our agents uh can can just plug right in and do business better than they were before wonderful now in a different video I'm gonna talk about exp exclusives this is not part of exp exclusives right it is totally distinct from that yep it it's distinct from that absolutely yeah I just didn't want the luxury name to confuse people so can anyone be part of exp luxury how does this work so there's two different ways to to get into exp luxury um and one way is the organic way and that is if you've had three sales in the last two years that are a million dollars or more or three times the average price point in your market so um for instance if you have a $250,000 price point then we're looking at $750,000 qualifying as luxury for the most part these days um with you know that the cost of houses um the million dollar Mark is is is pretty much it so that's the Baseline um and we had because we are one brokerage we had to you know have a floor um as we move along we'll we'll probably be able to identify each market and what luxury means to each individual Market um but right now that is how it's qualified um a million dollar a million dollar sales three of those in the last two years or three times the average price point the other way if you don't qualify organically is you can get um exp certification in luxury and um we also accept a few other luxury certifications um so you can inquire about you know which ones um and you can come in the door that way so two different ways either organically or getting certified um and uh we welcome both we've had some agents that you know have never dipped their toe in luxury before they got exp luxury certified um came in used our tools and resources and um just you know got a first listing opportunity and because of the tools and resources and the um Global exposure that we have um the multiple listing syndication that our luxury um listings go in the the Publications they were able to land the listings above and beyond like a traditional traditionally known luxury brokerage agents um and I've heard stories over and over again where we're beating out um traditionally known luxury agents um because of our listing presentation that you you get with the the luxury membership and um the presentation and then the syndication and the exposure and the weekly reports that they get so we we are turning non-luxury agents into luxury agents they're getting um listings over and over again in the luxury in the luxury Market I've I've seen that listing presentation on another Mastermind call but what is my investment and what comes with that um it's $2500 annually is the investment and so um the biggest thing is as far as like monetary how you're able to you know see it make it make sense um MoneyWise um for instance the Tina call was you know spending upwards of tens of thousands upwards close to $100,000 to get into that multiple listing syndication um it's going to put you in Barons U Mansion Global a Wall Street Journal 80 plus Publications um and that is we and you get 10 all at once so you can have 10 listings and that's all included in there yes all included typically that would have cost cost you anywhere from $800 to $1,000 per listing um but we get 10 all at once and if one drops out because you know it's sold or whatever you can pop one right back in so you can have 10 running all concurrently um and that in itself is like the biggest savings um to me what makes us so valuable again though is that community that we have um the opening of the playbooks the referral opportunities within our luxury division I was just meeting with um an agent in uh the the Hilton Head Island area and and when we first started I gave him a big luxury referral cuz someone else asked me um in the luxury division hey who's our luxury guy or person agent in um the Hilton Head area I was like oh I have a great one so um I gave them a couple of choices and you know the referral opportunities are just massive um so if you think of that I always think of things like you know if I join this and I get one luxury referral out of it then it's going to pay for itself in Spades um so you know just the opportunity to educate grow um to really even if even if you just want to raise your average price point um that's a big deal so you're just being in close proximity with the greatest and best agents um that we have and so that's exciting could you give us I know our time is limited but could you kind of give us a brief overview of what all is included sure and I actually have a little slideshow if you don't mind me sharing um if I can if I can find it here it is so um we really think that this is the future of luxury real estate is through eegp um and we're super excited about it um again um you know Tina call is one of our luxury council members she's had a massive success in the luxury Arena um Ed Kaminsky is out west um he is a huge luxury agent also really big in the sports and entertainment division um and he's be been able to really use our platform to really up his game um again you're going to elevate your brand uh there's you have extraordinary Partners uh the vendor partners that we've partnered with we've we've negotiated with them lots of um discounts for agents for tools that there are already using um and that's a big deal we're the first Cloud Brokers connecting luxury globally uh we are now in um Canada as of last August we're in Puerto Rico we're in South Africa New Zealand Australia the UK um and Dubai India coming along so as well as Mexico um so it's going to be um a way to connect globally in a different way than no one else ever has so that's super exciting um we're going to have direct access to 24 Global markets um this is outdated we have um almost 90,000 agents now so again that exposure is super important for those luxury clients um it it shows the clout that we have um and then more networking opportunities uh another thing that we're really passionate about is luxury events and getting together face to face space um and sharing and collaborating and just um you know upping our game upping our education and just selling more luxury uh properties the marketing is outstanding it's beautiful it's simple it's elegant modern and so I think that we've done a really good job with that um that just just beautiful um again um talking about the the advertising and all those different um Publications um globally so these are just a few of them mention Global baring unique Coles robber report um Wall Street Journal um you get a dedicated listing website beautiful the listing presentation Creator um and we're always looking like to add more things like it's just one of those things where we don't stop where we are we're going to continue to evolve and get better as you can see like this is beautiful I actually just ordered my luxury cards um I don't know what took me so long and I keep checking the mail every day because I want I can't wait for them to get here I want to see them touch on feel them and so I'm super excited about that um our luxury Design Center is just second to nine you can see some examples here of you know what what we offer and um again it's Sleek modern simple beautiful they did a great job I know that some agents like you and I both know Ken pus in San Diego yeah Ken Ken was doing a lot of luxury business before he joined DX and now with the luxury division available to him he's saving a ton of money oh yeah absolutely a lot of them are um saving money and so um and we're constantly looking for again like more things to add um more you know more venders more Partners to add and then just offering them more in their um deliverables and collaterals so um again Blended sense like we we are really excited about everything that we're doing we have a partnership with success magazine they they provide Us exclusive um discounts um through luxury and so um that's exciting um so yeah I mean that's that's kind of it in a nutshell um you know I know we don't have all day I could go on all day about the that's awesome um just incredible agents too like super successful uh I was just speaking with Michael Valdez the other day and we had some really amazing sales in the in the month of January that we can't wait to to put out out there like upwards of you know a ton of them um$ Million Dollar Plus so um we are really uh you know making a making a move and we're making a presence here in the luxury division so we're excited about where we are and where we're going that's wonderful as a kind of a note in closing if someone is more interested in in learning more rather about exp masterminds um and uh yesterday we had a a vendor partner Mastermind we have two that are just for members only um the one coming up next week is um is open so it doesn't you don't have to be a luxury member you can you know see what's going on in there so that one's open um and then um and that one's on you know buyer and seller contracts and you know um we try to bring um you know some education and information that's really going to help uh help our agents like just get to the next level so it's exciting every week every Wednesday at one o'clock Eastern um they have something um we're always providing value so they have a new member like you know get the full benefit of your luxury membership um so we have trainings on Tuesdays um for the luxury members that are in there to you know if
