what is up YouTube what is up family we have a patreon request we got pentatonic sings a whole bunch of things Beyonce Ariana Lady Gaga in a game of song Association oh they're gonna play a game I have no idea cool Plant Matt all right let's go what is this about I want [Music] you I was at the music video Just then hey guys I'm Kristen hey I'm Kevin I am M I'm Scott and I'm Matt and we're pinonic we're going to be playing a game of song association with L right here from our homes so the rules of the game are we get a word and we have 10 seconds to either sing or rap that word in a song O I'm so excited honestly I think we're going to be pretty awesome cuz we're a pretty awesome team aren't we how many songs do you know but before we get into the game be sure to check out pentatonics is new release at home EP which we did at home out stream everywhere please go listen it would make me very happy but let's get into the game how about we get to do on beat box for the band favorite word is favorite uh these are a few of my favorite things I don't know any other songs of favorite 100 525,600 minutes 525 Journeys to plan 525,600 minutes how reach so good so easy reach out and face I see a lot of bass I don't see a lot of lyrics I Don't Know lyrics come uh CH my C in and I pay the dollar psychic Rings what's up hello text the address I'll see you later baby C down C down calm down Cal down down down down you know you guys know that song Oh that was a classic back in the day when I was in high school back in the 20s where is she at yeah I know you're so old Mitch I know we need that new album bro Texas Texas uh boy this beat is crazy this is how they marry Houston Texas baby I'm a shame to Bey honce fans worldwide but I can like not think of the melody right now I think one of the first songs that I used to sing all the time was uh let's give something to talk about a little mystery to figure out let's give something about about yeah that was like the first song I used to sing all the time I grew up and Texas must be nice to just be able to sing that's probably why five five five uh we we did something on Sesame Street like 1 2 3 four 5 6 S 8 n 10 you know that was on my mind too Sesame Street 11 12 from Sesame Street from our time we did it there's been a lot of songs we've recorded together that have been really difficult you know one of the hardest ones for me was doing um aha by image and Heap it has this crazy like I had to practice that a lot to get it to what I just showed it to you right now probably the hardest one was Bohemian rap city and the hardest part is is that middle section where it's all the choir singing at once I remember it was like let him go let him let you go let him go let you never never let me go like that part is just so intricate there's so much going on that and you just like killed it by yourself every show I have to like fully Focus for that one you know what was really hard was that's Christmas to me our uh original Christmas song Kevin wrote it and he was very he was obsessed with the song and he was a perfectionist about it so I remember um us having to really nitpick every detail in the studio and we normally we all record separately but in that instance because we wanted to kind of feel the Dynamics together we were all recording in one Studio I got this Christmas song in my heart I got the candles glowing in the dark I'm hanging all the stockings by the Christmas [Music] tree oh why cuz that's Christmas to me is that good uh Kevin you you concur that good yeah I thought did I I think Mitch did a pretty damn good job you yeah you agree okay a how could you not I wish it was Christmas time oh don't worry two months two months thing actually sorry two weeks in about two weeks you'll start seeing Christmas trees in Hope Depot and did I say Hope Depot Home Depot and Lowe's you'll see Christmas trees everywhere yeah sing sing sing sing sing again he from in Japan down down down down singing for your mama a singing for your papa a singing for the whole world with a boy or girl you going B yo KO want to be okay I'm the human work not to be super cheesy but I've been listening to a lot of our pentatonics Originals so stay tuned guys that's been exciting because it's the work we did all before quarantine happened and I think we all feel really passionate about it and what it's saying we're really proud of what we've how we've grown and what we put into those songs ready ready ready ready and I here I come you can't hide we're going to find you love that song [Music] way I will never get sick of that song I never get sick of Ariana in general if we did something with Ariana Grande that would blow our minds we could either do like a Brillion Christmas song together or just something like beautiful and stripped down like an image and Heap Hide and Seek moment especially if we did like an acapella version of um rain on me r on and like all these harmonies that be so fun place something something about this place you this is a lot harder than they're making it seem I promise you that they just got a library uh an encyclopedia of songs in their brains so they're making it look way too easy no joke I don't really remember the the first song that pentatonics recorded together but I do remember the first time we sang something together and it was a Lady Gaga beon song called telephone stop stop call I don't anymore dance I think I just sing my Harmony not the melody but you get the picture chance chance I'm doing this terribly is he cheating is he cheating on the phone um I got to take a chance with you right now honey I don't know I'm making this up y'all I have no idea what I'm talking about my wife is literally in the back laughing at me because she's like what are you talking about growing up I I mainly listened to I didn't even know it was married just learned something new I had no idea he was married I guess I should have been paying attention to his hand All These Years instrumental pieces so stuff like that that made me realize that I loved what art could do for the human psyche rise isn't that a song the name of the song is Rise waves up that's high I picked a high key and you killed it as usual I feel like music has always been there for any any emotion um sadness happiness anger Etc music is always there to help give words to the feelings that you're having it transcends all culture all gender all language and there's so much great music from different places you know my dad's from Nigeria and my mom's from Grenada you know I used to live in China for a year and a half and I think we wouldn't have so much divide if we were learning about the different cultures these backgrounds because we get to understand a little bit more of you know different people and how they live through music and without music and without music which is what I'm going to try with my new channel it's it's just going to be it's it's so we can learn about other Count's culture so we can have a little bit of an idea of when someone says hey uh do you live in the greatest country in the world instead of automatically saying of course I do and go but have you gone anywhere else no well then how do you know you live in the greatest country in the world yeah so since we can't just jump on a plane and fly first class or even a coach uh to uh certain countries just you know hey I'm going to go visit that country and learn about it you watch videos of that country and then make a decision for yourself same goes with the music the more music you spread out and listen to the smarter you become and I'm truly so proud to be part of a band that is so incredibly diverse we have people of color we have different genders we have queer people and that's such a beautiful thing and it represents Unity now especially in this time of utter darkness and chaos I think we can we can use all of the all of the hope and all of the all of the positivity that that we can get and I think a lot of that comes through through the power of music stay it does I want you to stay you did that I was in the music video Just then home Oh I thought it said homie home home take me there won't you take me there won't you take me a pentatonics original I mean our first like album song I think that we ever recorded was somebody that I used to know like goer but you didn't love that song need that I used know that's the first mix I remember listening to and thinking oh wow we are professionals hell yeah that was amazing Pop Pop Goes the we six squish uhuh cisero lip shits he it coming he it coming he it coming all along if you'd have been there if you'd have seen it I bet you you would have done the same pop sick squish cico lip shits that one okay I got he said a bad word he said a bad word most of them I feel like it's kind of tough though a lot of those words were really hard I come from an instrumental background so like me remembering lyrics was not a thing growing up but me neither buddy and I don't have no background you know what still played my part thanks for watching this was our song association with L and please while you're at it check out penon say new EP at home make you did at home and for more videos like this subscribe to L good video good vid I mean how many P we're over 300 that's over 300 videos for Pentatonics and the patreons just they keep on digging they keep on finding and I don't know I got a feeling some of you probably have never seen this I just got that feeling I'm usually wrong with the feelings but I just got that feeling even the well the hardcore pent pentaholics will probably be like yeah I've seen that but the those that just love pentatonics I don't know it might be a little surprise here all right we'll see take care peace out have a good night
