the Steelers are releasing veteran wide receiver Allan Robinson Allan Robinson signed with the Steelers last season coming from the Rams Allan Robinson was coming off an injury and the Steelers thought maybe if healthy Allan Robinson can bring something to the offense and that just never happened Allan Robinson's production was very limited you know for the money that he's do so the Pittsburgh Steelers are releasing Allan Robinson um great locker room guy you know good presence veteran presence to the young wide receivers like George Pickins and Calvin Austin and things like that um good in the blocking game but like I said the production just isn't there for that type of money you know you can get that elsewhere so Allan Robinson and the Steelers are par in ways um Patrick Peterson was also uh released from the Pittsburgh Steelers so with these two moves the Steelers are saving um a nice bit of money you know so they can uh go go out and sign some of these uh free agents that are out there you know you have guys um receivers safeties you know Gabe Davis you know um from the bills you have all type of uh uh Gilmore you know Stefon Gilmore cornerback I mean you know there's other guys lerus sne I mean there's guys out there that the Steelers can sign you know you have some money to play with and things like that so Allan Robinson like I said great guy he did some things in the past um with the Chicago Bears so it it looked enticing you know at the time um coming from the Rams like I said coming off of that injury so it's like hey you kick the tires on a guy see if he can return back to form and help your offense out you know and like I said veteran presence and things like that so you can kind of get multiple things out of Allan Robinson if all things you know are aligned and uh the locker room thing was was was you know was a plus but the production wasn't there and like I said for the money it just it just didn't add up so Allan Robinson is the uh you know the recent um recent release from the Steelers you know the Steelers are are releasing the veterans that they brought in last season you know that that to help the teams and um now they're gone and Allan Robinson is the latest one so we'll just have to see what direction the Steelers go with the with with the cap money that they are um that they are gaining with these releases so thanks for watching the video make sure to subscribe to the channel hit the notification Bell to get all the new videos and until next time I'm out
