let's trace the strands what do we have today oh we have a how to play guide uh anyway the nose nose so something dealing with smell oh Edom maybe Edom cheese not really a particularly smelly cheese no oh not in word list right I guess that makes sense it's a proper noun okay well that that didn't help Aroma no uh no smell uh scent no sense no could be part of the Spang Gram I'm not sure I I mean it's got to be something something to do with [Music] smells stink something with no um right right okay so I the thing is I don't know I assume we're looking for smells I don't know if we're looking for examples of smells or words that mean smell like a Roma or odor actually odor is a good one um no okay lots of bits of it but no feel I'm I'm regressing at this game I'm getting worse at it over time sorry about that if that appears to you to be the case as [Music] well something N I don't know let's look at this again because I this has to be relevant sense oh interestingly yeah it can be spelled in two different ways which would mean yeah defin I mean obviously we already know it's not a word because it didn't give it to me uh or it's not not a valid answer but but it wouldn't have been anyway for that reason someone asked how do how do we know that because something can be spelled more than one way that it isn't an answer it's because it would ruin the rest of the grid I mean if you spelled it you know if it were equally valid to spell it either way and the game accepted it well then now you've now you've actually altered the remaining space in the grid I suppose it would be possible to construct a grid that allowed you to enter an either way and also allowed for the other words in the grid to be entered in multiple ways but that would be very difficult and I would I would think as a game designer you just would not allow for that in the first place would really create a headache for you unnecessarily okay anyway now that I've stalled for some time let's can we find some uh a rose that's a that's a flower with a yes yes yes okay so they're things that have scents or you know distinctive smells themselves a melon no something melon some kind of melon although the only thing we could get into in there would be the C which doesn't seem likely that's a shame red okay sorry let's look at this again well yeah okay well now we know that the sense which boy that really does look oh no lemon it's not melon it's lemon right okay so I'm I'm very certain that sense is going to be part of this the spam gram so musk I see I'm just using it to kind of block out part of the grid so I can see what words are spelled around it wood no some Sandalwood that that's a that's definitely the kind of scent you see listed on fancy things okay good we're getting somewhere almond no no um okay let's look at this so this this we now have the the bottom half of the grid almost entirely accounted for which is useful I suppose um oh common common sense obviously playing on the phrase common sense but here common sense okay good there we go lava is not a common sent uh what is it though oh vanilla no um I don't know how many do we have two remaining okay um oh cedar cedar wood is another sort of fancy kind of thing and we have one one remaining red no oh lavender lavender there we go good okay well I found that very tricky but fortunately it eventually came together I was I was right to to really keep focusing on sense it helped me out even before I understood what the total phrase was because it sort of shaped remaining answers in the grid so that was very helpful all right those were the strands back tomorrow bye for now
