Emmitt Smith feels Dak Prescott is being SET UP this season

Dallas Cowboys a couple of days ago R Cho choa from blogging the boys had an interview with Dallas Cowboys Legend EMT Smith there are a few nuggets in that interview and you know what I had to do I had to clip them out for you Cowboys Nation so let's take a listen to the three clips that I got for y'all and y'all know what we're going to do we're going to come back and un pack this Raw and Uncut and I would be remissed if I did not start these clips out with one of the most important messages in this interview EMT Smith's contribution to opioid addiction with emergent and the ready to rescue Smith clears the air and explains the difference between his hold out and what CD Lamb's currently doing so we're going to take a listen to what I got and then we're going to come back back and talk about it roller clip em Smith Never held out first and foremost let's make that very clear and I try to make this clear to people and they still don't get the message the message is very clear a hold out this's is something distinctly different between a hold out and what's what CD lamb is doing and what I did CD Lambs has a contract and he still on the obligation to fulfill that contract correct that's that's fair yeah certainly he has years left on his contract correct that's true correct all right so with years left on his contract and what he's doing right now it's classified as a hold out I never had years left on my contract my contract was fulfilled I didn't have a job to go to like most people if you don't have a job to go to you can go and apply anywhere and get a job correct that's true I couldn't go and apply to any of the other 31 teams I only had one team to work with at the time and when I did had a chance to to go to any of the other 31 teams guess what I only had 30 days to do it so when that window closed and none of those teams offer me a contract I only had one team to negotiate with and that was the Dallas Cowboys so negotiations got strained and the reality of the fact is they got strain to the point where I missed the first two games because Jerry and I could not see out eyee and I had earned the right like CD lamb is earning the right and has earned the right and has performed over the last couple years under this particular contract and perform well for the Dallas Cowboys hasn't been a problem hasn't been has been a leader in the locker room and has and has not had any off the field issu issues so that in itself is where we're similar but the reality of fact is my contract was done my obligation to the Cowboys was complete so to set the record straight EMT Smith was done with his previous contract when he refused to show up for training camp all the way up to the third game of the 1993 season a season that saw the Dallas Cowboys start 0 and2 then go and win the Super Bowl CD lamb is technically under contract but I completely get where he's coming from the top wide receivers who were in his draft class they're getting their unacceptable because every quarterback of his caliber should have quality people to throw the ball to not no plan b or no plan C or no plan D guy he should be in a position as your franchise quarterback he should be in the position to be successful and right now you putting him behind the eightball and that is not right and that's how I see it man EMT you ain't telling no lies it's a damn shame angry Cowboys fans I can't let's go ahead and do this y'all ready for mon Robin uncut y'all ready let's get it man I can't get on Jerry and Steven Jones enough when it comes to paying these players their responsibility to put the best product out there on the field each and every year and for 29 years they failed to do so any other general manager would have been fired by now I don't know how many videos that I can make about this situation because it's going to start becoming redundant and I don't want some redundancy on my page I want to be able to come on YouTube and brag about how aggressive my ownership is I want to be able to come on YouTube and talk about how Forward Thinking this organization is the sad thing is you will never you will never ever ever ever hear me use the phrase I saw that coming from a mile ahead with this organization you know I often question why the Dallas Cowboys are so heavily covered by all forms of sports media the way they are what's the difference between us and somebody like I don't know the Cleveland Browns just just good enough to get to the playoffs to get bounced unexpectedly anyhow EMT Smith is 100% correct CI lamb is currently under contract which makes me feel as if this hold out is going to go into the regular season CD lamb taking the Dallas Cowboys off his ex account makes me feel as if this is super serious and he's prepared to take this into the season if he chooses to do that Lord help this offense Mike McCarthy can go ahead and hang it up because his job just got aund times harder if CD Lamb's not a part of that offense but EMT Smith pointed out that he felt that not getting CD lamb paid is setting Dak Prescott up for failure and I completely agree I remember saying it wouldn't surprise me if Jerry Jones was getting rid of Tyron letting Pard walk getting rid of his Center Tyler botes now having a hold out from your number one Target was purposely setting Dak Prescott up to fail in order to get Dak Prescott's numbers down to get other franchise to see his negative performance and come to the conclusion that huh Dak ain't worth what he says he's worth putting the lid on this quarterback market and Jordan love being that lid I'm going get into my 10f hat Theory real quick angry Cowboys fans y'all just bear with me real quick what if the owners of The League wanted to finally put their foot down and cap the quarterbacks at a certain number and if they didn't outperform the highest player you know by whatever metric that they decide to calculate this up with that's how you get to break the market the prime time to have done that was when they signed Patrick Mahomes when Patrick Mahomes signed his deal from that moment on quarterbacks can't become the highest paid until they accomplish more than the currently highest paid quarterback but if they weren't thinking this angry Cowboys fan I could have just gave them the crabby patty secret formula but anyway back to the topic at hand I agree with what em Smith had to say about the importance of CD lamb to Dak Prescott's success this season and in the past I've said this before that offense ran through CD lamb last season what you going to have Brandon Cooks becomes your number one and Jaylen tobert becomes your number two Jaylen Brooks then becomes your number three with Jaylen Cropper becoming your number four damn we got a lot of jayin in this wide receiver room don't we then I get online and I see casual fans talking about how Patrick Mahomes gets it done with less weapons how many times do I have to say this angry Cowboys fans Dak Prescott is not Patrick Mahomes Dak Prescott is Dak Prescott and for the people to continuously compare the two that's super selfish to me y'all then to sit there and to say that the man deserves less than what he's asking for that's the that gets me frust frustrated with Cowboys Nation all the that the fans need not know about is what they learn from the three and four-letter networks why do fans need to know what a player's going to make or is looking to make to stir up the controversy within the fan base to add the court of public opinion to the mix these owners know that there's somebody out there that will side with them and say these players don't deserve the millions they're looking for so fans who do it stop pocket watching please also it's not fan apathy how the fans feel about the Dallas Cowboys it's like looking for a certain Christmas present under the Christmas tree you open that box that's in the shape of the present that you wanted but bam it was a knockoff version super antil climatic the one word that describes the cowboy Seasons anti-climatic this is the frustration with the Dallas Cowboys organization the lack of urgency the lack of commitment to your homegrown players when Jerry Jones shows me a lack of urgency it translate to a lack of a want to win and win now when Jerry and Steven Jones aren't aggressive and they're leaning on will mlay to scout this team into a Super Bowl championship when that hasn't worked for too many teams it gets fans pissed and to keep it a buck to have the lack of urgency with any top player on this team is to have a lack of an urgency of winning you know me angry Cowboys fan family I try not to be pessimistic with this front office but I lean on other content creators Cowboys content creators and reporters to keep me levelheaded whenever I'm kind of feeling like this but I truly hope that the Dak attack and his theory of getting things done after the Olympics is correct I lean on Clarence Hill Jr when he's telling me to sit there and relax with the last urgency statement that you heard in the news relax just relax relax so I'm going to relax I'm going to take a chill pill and continue to hope that these deals get done but if they're not done by the start of the playoffs y'all might be seeing an angrier Cowboys fan this has been your man the angry Cowboys fan what
