Love is Blind Mexico & UK Megapodcast - Ep 42

Intro hello and welcome to another edition of The People's Rose I'm Jared I'm Brook and we are a married couple a happily married couple who love reality TV we love to watch it we love to talk about it so we bought some well we didn't buy some we got some recording equipment and our publish it online and podcast form or video form if you're watching on YouTube if you haven't watched Us on YouTube Bachelorette if you're looking for that it's the one right before this one but if you are looking for all that is Love is Blind Mexico and love is blind UK you have come to the right episode if you're ready for some kosa kosas mikas why can't I say that I don't know um this is the episode if you're ready for some proper chat mate this is the episode if you're ready for some um um kondas e chees Che EAS this is the right episode if you're ready for some mates and chat that's all I really know huh and beans on toes oh um this is the right episode again we're going deep dive in Love is Blind we had two finales in two weeks yeah for UK and Mexico and we're going to chop it all up yeah oh what do you want to start with we'll do a coin FL we'll do Mexico first let's start with Love is Blind Mexico Love is Blind Mexico okay love is blind Mexico came out for the first time this year on Netflix I have been longing for a reality TV show in Spanish to practice listening in Spanish I'm sorry I just can't watch Tel noas it's just I've tried and some of them actually but they're just not my thing we watch so much reality TV I knew it was a perfect content for me and it delivered love is black Mexico um had I believe dang was it five couples go to the altar or maybe less than that because some people didn't even make it that far um and so we had a lot um um writing uh on the line in that last episode last week and we had the results from that which we'll talk about and then we had a reunion episode this past Sunday which gave us more insight into everyone's relationships and so let's get into it I would like to start our discussion with my number one reality TV person or one of them this year I I entered the pods um a lawyer yeah she's very knowledgeable she's clearly driven successful successful you have to be um motivated to make it that far uh in that field and and so I see her already as a person who gets her way not gets her way excuse me who is motivated to get what she wants and that kind of reflected in her journey it and ended up with Renee but that's not let's get let's examine how she got there she had to defeat Rio with Fernando she had to after I mean she didn't even care that Karen and Ferdinando had decided to become a pair she was still ready to go in there and do what she needed to do yeah now that ultimately didn't work out but did that deter her from continuing on with the experiment no she continues with doct Renee Dr Renee right and and did her initial and she did she let her initial meeting of Renee outside of the pods um where she saw he was a bad boy with t and remind of her ex deter her from continuing to be with Renee no no even after that though they didn't go to Tulum together they met up and they had um a relationship on the show what are your thoughts on Renee and IR you know from the moment that they met outside of the pods no well not the first initial but when they they came back and they met at the restaurant I could tell Renee was crazy about her he so in love with her he was so all about her and then even despite going home introducing her to his family they didn't know about the experiment his family was very standoffish they were very much like what are you doing why are you doing this and he's just like he held his own through it all and he was like I I love her like we're doing this we hope you support us and his sisters were like we can't believe you're doing this like his dad was basically in tears we found out that he has had a Hy not a hysterctomy a vasectomy a vasectomy because he doesn't want to have kids also I think he probably was out there just slinging it because like Come Those are Brook's thoughts we are not making any accusations the thoughts of Brooke are not the thoughts of the people's RS go ahead okay so when his dad found out that he had a vasectomy his dad was devastated devastated and then in a like oneon-one of the camera in the moment he was like yeah I didn't know that and I I really want grandkids so I'm really upset but I even I was like yeah I can take him or leave them like it's okay need yeah well I mean a lot of people feel that way but yeah good yeah so you know and then his mom did eventually kind of come around and was like I want to be there for y'all and right so ultimately and even his sisters eventually did attend yeah so ultimately I am going to say spoiler alert I was surprised that he said No at the altar yeah you know okay well this is okay okay okay okay okay okay there's so much we could actually do a full part on I us to but I I I'll I'll try to make this take as short as possible I'll work my way back through what you were saying I'm not surprised I told you that you were like there's something you said you're like I don't know where I was saying what basically what I was saying was in response to something you said was like I'm actually feel like sometimes the absence of a a father in your life can influence your actions just as much as of having a father you know what I mean yeah and so you were saying oh he you know they don't him and his father don't talk about and he said that actually on the show he he doesn't contact his father much um but that doesn't mean that that doesn't influence his actions MH you know what I mean and so when I saw that his dad wasn't there and the and at the wedding at the altar I was like uhoh this could be a no from him because you I think he ultimately would want his dad to be there for him and to support him um and him and the Ares so then you go back to the meeting with the family yes that was alltime reality TV if you don't speak Spanish please I I beg you to give this season a chance regardless because that's such an entertaining interaction her sisters are not hiding it at all no they're like what no you know on The Bachelor ad if you're used to watching that or other Lover's blind shows a lot of times the family is like we're just a little concerned yeah it's a little rushed and we see that you guys have some differences yeah you might want to work out his sisters are like bro what are you full force this is dumb do this and one of ir's biggest thing was like he drinks and that makes me nervous cuz I have had bad experiences with boyfriends in the past who drink a lot like heavy Drinkers and his family was just like we party we're a family that parties we drink to beat women up we drink to have fun and and they were just like if you're going to take that away from him like we're we're not okay with that they were like don't do that yeah and and the mom was like and just so you know he loves his sisters and he's whipped yeah so I don't know if you're jealous of that but his sisters control him yeah and that's not going to change and I was like whoa like kind of has to change no matter who he marries but the sisters are like yeah that's right yeah uh which I think is a very interesting unhealthy but entertaining Dynamic yeah they were almost smirking at the thought of like how dare this random woman come which is you know it is weird you know in a month think she's going to do right um so they were just so against it and I was so touching seeing his um Dad go through all this wave of emotions like my son thinks he's getting married oh he had a sex with me oh blah blah blah blah it was crazy yeah um and work in the initial meeting you know he knew that IIs had been with Fernando Fernando yeah and so his reaction was just like ah who cares it's our story yeah so he didn't feel any heat from Karen in her drunken rant being like well if you if you're cool with my let let me just say Karen was dead she was not she was like is there a pulse Karen are you alive and then as soon as I and Renee walk into the after party like honeymoon after party let's all go have a barbecue right right right she came alive and she was mad and she was mad she was accusing irise of only being here to disrupt her and um Fernanda and she was like oh it's I'm I can't even believe that Renee accepted a proposal from you after you proposed to Fernando right right right which is really not true and they rolled the clips they rolled the tapes what do you think do you think she propos so weird that had so many story lines of was it a proposal did she say a proposal they say we're married and I'm like we don't we do not need to get into the nitty-gritty it was not a proposal was it uh hey you should drop Karen and be with me yes sure yeah and maybe maybe that's my lack of understanding of the Nuance of Spanish phrasing and so maybe that is exactly what they were saying proposal we only think of proposal as a as a like marriage thing but maybe it's more like proposition like trying you know what I'm saying I mean people people do that in the real world all the time right like all the time they're like this is my last chance let me get it out there said every pod we know someone whose story is not too much different from that right un let's just say maybe this was eye opening for some people in this pod all right anyways um not us not us for sure um but one of our friends or acquaintances Ah that's too much okay anyways so um but I love your I um and so when yeah you were fan of her from day one so when ultimately it didn't work out like I think it takes a lot of cognitive cognitive cognitive dissonance to 100% be dating Renee to get back at Fernando become Vince yourself and everyone else no that's not the case yeah but ultimately when he says no I it looks like they continued for a while but they they blame their separation a distance cuz they're no longer even though they continue dating after saying no at the altar they've broken it all yeah you know let's talk about the reunion the reunion circle in Spanish the reencounter circle oh my go beautiful an amazing idea I needed on the American show at first we like this is a little cheesy but then you know we like explain it get in that Circle so it's like would you like the host he's like first of all there's 17 hosts on the Mex Love is Blind Mexico reunion which um I you know I think Nicolet and four to be exact yeah yeah need that help you know uh like so basically the main host is like hey let it's time for ir and Renee to get in the reunion Circle they had the guys on one side and the girls on the other right before like we didn't know and then they also had some of the other contestants in the audience as well right right and then both the couples both parts of the couples would ENT the circle and it's kind of like those cut videos or those um um nectar or Jubilee videos where it's like look if these two are still together the circle light up green if they've broken up it'll light up red and what happens of course with Ira Renee it lights up red let us know that they're not together yeah um so it's a little disappointing that they are no longer they couldn't make it work but it's also not unexpected yeah they also were still like very much I love him I love her touch holding and stuff still it was a little absurd that that that could just be a cultural thing but it definitely it was an interesting Vibe yeah um but yeah so that's Iris and Renee which I guess leads us straight into Fernando and Karen yeah because of course after Ires couldn't have or couldn't get uh ores couldn't get for fando because he chose Karen yes and Karen was rejected by sa yes so they but they actually ended up being maybe our solid our most solid M the best yeah they um they were the ones that we were like oh we know they're saying yes right right right they said yes it was a beautiful ceremony I kid you not I teared up when they took a second to oh my God talk about his love not just for Karen but for her Karen's daughter for previous relationship got her a bracelet she had gotten him and her mom friendship bracelets and so he got her a nice bracelet like you know it was so sweet and I was a little where she was crying it was beautiful it was so beautiful and I was a little bit concerned because when his mom came she was super happy and supportive until she found out that Karen had a daughter and then you could just kind of see the light leave her face and she was like this is going to be a really big decision a really big responsibility for him but he never wavered he never wavered the only like he was ready to take her and her daughter on which I think is so beautiful the only thing that tripped him up was the smoking right she did not like that Karen was a smoker yeah so yeah it was it was very it was um um not Valor it was it was very gentlemanly I can't think of the word but that he was so willing and ready she even asked him a couple times there at the end like are you a little disappointed that are not going to get a time as official time as husband and wife and you're going to have to jump straight into being a family man he said no I don't have any problems and so I was 100% certain on them except for the cigarette thing and this is this is hey this is let me okay I love love is blind Mexico I love advertising it the show to people who I know speak Spanish and who also like reality TV but let this be a lesson that you have to be care careful who you tell to what shows you tell you have to be careful what shows you recommend to people cuz I was at church talking to my Spanish friends you know Spanish oh my oh my goodness talking to people I know who speak Spanish at F at French I'm I'm I'm done talking podcast over are you having a stroke podcast over concerned so at church our friends who know who speak Spanish right and um Karen and fernandoo have the scene where they to resolve their their smoking argument they have fullon they have intercourse like we see it happen and you know we saw it in the previews like you see her hand I I mean not to get to graphic I want to get blocked on YouTube and I'm like oh clearly that's a tease that's not you know what I mean no camera's on yeah and I and it's it's a little more explicit than the US version right but it's not okay it's not full frontal but it's like no but but and so I recommended it to this guy at church and he was like yeah we um watched a bit of that and uh they are really show every I was like oh my goodness so just you know word of warning when you recommend reality shows at at church make sure you've watched the whole season first um but it's you should still watch it maybe if you if that's too much for you fast forward yeah okay so um um Karen Fernando it was beautiful hearing that they had like-minded ideals um workwise they already had started a business that was doing well they were successful they were able to buy an apartment right they had bought I think she was happy she said they bought a washer and dryer for the first time so she was really happy about that and they showed vacation pictures of their time in the inter room him and Emmy seemed to be getting along everyone was having a good time yeah aside from the brief FL flare up she had with um ir and the little bits of doubt she had about being about her kid liking him and then of course the cigarettes they were kind of smooth sailing yeah yeah and so you know I'm just wish them the best you know same same okay let's go to William Franchesca um train wreck just a very slow moving train rack listen Willie it's time to grow up you need to learn how to take care of your emotions tions he cannot handle his emotions yeah I said this in my instant reaction that that I that I posted on on Tik Tok um they both need to grow up because he wasn't ready to make a commitment yeah and process his feelings and she was stuck was stuck around with a guy who broke up with their couple multiple times said he did not like her didn't think they were compatible you can't just force somebody to be in a relationship with but she was going to try she called him a man with no balls she said he wasn't an adult ready to make adult decisions well he wasn't right but you don't say that you and then stick around yeah stick around maybe you just don't say that you tell somebody they don't have balls um yeah so yeah it was it was just a turbulent relationship it was pretty I mean from the Pod he was like she's so certain I'm not but I like that she's certain so let's do it yeah like she was like really certain from the beginning and then eventually he just kept saying his thing was we're not compatible I was just like what yeah okay and then the stuff they were compatible was like she was saying he she wanted a man who took care of her her which actually comes up on the UK show it's an international concern of women everywhere and he was kind of like no I think that's a little weird that you expect me to take care of everything M and these are some of those conversations that when you have a come from from a different place I don't think it's realistic to get the to get on the same page of the month yeah because more often than not I actually think people have the same perspective MH now there are people who are just like I am not lifting a finger and you providing every single thing yeah and then there are some people that are like if you expect me to provide you a scent we are not compatible yeah but I actually think most people are in in the middle and want someone who will provide but won't lock them up and not let them see be ambitious yeah they want someone who will take care of their kids but also take care of the house in other ways if if needed you know what I'm saying so I again but you can't do that on a dating show that's not you're not going to reach that same middle ground no but that was their that was their whole big thing I don't he also claimed that he was scared about his parents but they were fine they were just like yeah we we you know you're happy we're happy right and we don't talk enough about our and even his sisters were kind of like what's what's your problem like it's okay it's fine his dad was like we don't talk about emotional but maybe it's time we do I want to you know and he was like oh okay hey it was almost like dang I was around he was like I was trying to tell you right but no everybody was down so when the wedding time came I think it was obvious yeah and her her little speech was was such such a self-reflective it was almost was a little condescending so then we get to their reunion and she gives him back oh gosh the family ring it was some family heirloom I don't I think it was a ring it was something maybe it was a ring it was a family piece of jewelry and she was like I can't accept this and he's like I can't accept the gift back I've given it to you it represents our love and she was like well I don't want to be involved with you anymore like we're not involved this is something that happen and so it just went back and forth till she dropped it on the ground he's like I can't pick it up the host was like I'll take it or somebody yeah so they're clearly not on as good of terms as no I don't even think they went to that's not surprising yeah they were just broken up broken up it wasn't anything crazy um but you know what and a there's a world where Franchesca is one of my favorite characters as well but CU I like I like her like fiery like I liked her personality a lot yes and I like how determined she was but I also was like at some point Willie like come on and I liked her family a lot too her parents seemed very supportive and her daughter was sweet yes yes um there was a lot on Love is Blind Mexico there was a lot of contestants I guess we'll call them participants that had children from previous relationships I'd say way more like on Love is Blind season six I guess it was North Carolina Jessica was like the only one and it made her seem like she was a pariah right and it became her whole thing like I'm proud okay let me correct myself like her whole thing that she was proud to be a mother you know what I mean which of course she is which of course she is but like that was just kind of like there was 10 of those on like not 10 but you know what I'm saying Karen had a kid Chima had a kid Franchesca had a kid um so that was not a uncom sa had one too didn't sa had a kid even though he got the cut cut short when they experiment so yeah that wasn't um uh as much of a thing here but it's still speaking of that Saul and lety yes they got cut short right they barely made it out of tulon I think she just was like so disgusted by him yes because he wanted to be super physical and she didn't okay but the thing that I cannot wrap my head around is they were both at the reunion right and they had a little snip of them talking about how you know they they didn't even try like they just were done done but she still wears her ring she still wears her ring and she's like what did she even say it's a sign of that I can find love and I Found Love yeah I was like this is It's ly is a Walkin contradiction I want to say something I want to make it very clear I do not want to minimize L's um um feelings of of uh dides she call it trauma just the way that he was over uh enthusiastic IC about yeah um touching her early on right but I'm a little and so that's not I don't want to minimize that she's totally valid in that but she was like okay I Found Love in the pods and so that's what the ring represents but the person you found it with is someone who you claim basically immediately disgusted to and then I I do actually see a lot from Saul's perspective but he handled it with Grace he didn't try to stick up for his even though I thought he did have some room to say like well actually from my perspective you know what I'm saying he was just like I made you feel uncomfortable I didn't uphold and make you feel safe and that's 100% on me I did not want to but I'm sorry for it and he just repeated that see he just took his lashings which is the best you can do yeah um even even if maybe even if it's just an understanding but anyways but she said he repeatedly disgusted her and pushed the line to the and so I was like in my head I wouldn't want to keep a ring same you know or maybe maybe keep it but wear a ring from some who came from but maybe that's not what she said that's not what it represents yeah but I was a little conflicted because then they meet at the party at the party in the season I forget what episode they that's the first time they saw so and lety again and everyone's like what happened at sylv's party yeah yeah sylv's birthday party and she's like they're both happy they're like smiling and they were like we met up we talked it didn't work out but she's a great girl and he's like yeah he's a good guy yeah and I was I was like okay maybe I was hoping they like maybe they had had like listen it didn't work out and I came at it wrong and I just couldn't see it and we moved on right but then for on the circle back of the reunion and just come at him which that's how she felt and that's you know he did come on very aggressively you know what I'm saying but and who knows she says it continued I didn't see it continue at least not physically we only saw the one time which was when they first met right and he was like basically taking her dress off which is horrible like kissing her shoulder right so you I get it but you know so I was just a little confused but in the end they were another couple that didn't work out yeah then we also had um um hero and Fernando and Fernando is there the last couple no Chim Chima and Sylvia yeah okay let's do Fern uh Fernando and herard though I actually was I actually saw them as contenders I thought they were going to make it I thought they were going to be a power couple that's what I thought was going to happen with them that is not at all what ended up happening with them I saw the cracks from the jump um you know what's so funny I forgot to tell you about this um just jumping ahead to one of the problems she you know she's a big dog person and demanded her dog be inside right and so you and I were watching like okay like that's a little weird that you would break up with someone if you know over that yeah she literally said if my dog cannot live inside it's a deal breaker right right and so he said okay that's fine but I have two dogs that are outside dogs and they can't you know they have never lived inside so I need like time at minimum two weeks to transition you know what I'm saying the to the inside or whatever at least my dogs no I think he was saying he thought his dogs were a fight with her dogs they are inside dogs his dogs aren't inside dogs his dogs are outside dogs but in the F in the in the end they showed a picture of him with his dog in bed right right but I think that was him just instigating oh so my point on this what I brought that up is like we were watching that like wow she's weird but I was talking to one of my co-workers and they were just like I cannot believe that hero was trying to make her dog stay outside he's such and I was like oh okay I guess there's more than one perspective to this but listen I'll tell you right now and I'll admit I am not a dog person I'm not an animal person so this is this is a a thing that I cannot relate on but I do I believe that that could be a deal breaker for people absolutely yeah definitely I I get it but but it was I mean it goes beyond that the thing that really the thing that I knew it was going when I knew it was going to go south was when she got livid that he did not tell her good night one night yeah he just fell asleep and did not tell her good night and she just thought that was like just the worst thing that he could do like he doesn't care about her and all this stuff and I just to me that's a jump like they weren't even from what I understand I could be wrong they weren't having like an argument before or anything it just was like truly was just like she did not he didn't tell her good night and fell asleep and so then he was like kind of confused and she was like mad mad yeah it was a lot there and then there was the fitness thing she didn't like that he was not like super athletic well if you hold on if you listen to all his family members his brother they were like he's so athletic like all he does he loves playing sports and he described himself it's that they didn't like the same things he want she wants to rock climb roller skate and roll and he was and do early morning um Pilates and he was like that doesn't sound fun to me but I'll do it like I think they at one point they show him waking up at like 5 to do Pilates and she was and he was hating it it and she did not seem to be enjoying that he was hating it well and I just think that she was very unwilling to compromise on anything and then at the end she was like being physically violent I don't know we didn't see her actually hit him but she because she covered the camera but we definitely could hear things being thrown and then we saw the aftermath we saw the Carnage of the yeah of theart shared Department after she the cameras were the towels that she covered the cameras were taken off and it didn't seem like they had a civil conversation there's another thing that happened in between them they were saying that they W she wanted a lot more intimacy than he was willing to give and she felt like that meant that he didn't love her um so there was that mismatch there on just their their drivve oh and then there was the whole thing about him saying he didn't love her but that's not really what he said right right and so but also I can feel at that point it could be driven to be honest and just be like well I mean not anymore you know what I'm saying so there's all of that kind of for me and happened so quickly it did it did cuz they were smoochie smoochies oh you're the best oh my gosh we're the best couple oh my gosh I love it when you play your guitar it makes me feel so awesome cuz oh but but I'm embarrassed cuz I can't you know just all of that and all of a sudden she's finger gunning I'm like I hate you you know what I mean I like whoa yeah and he seemed to to quickly not care I will give her that he did that's did check out pretty quickly true um which also leads to his other option in the pods it was more than just ferand it was fand Fernand it was more than just Fernand it was also Mayfair who I I found out is also that's also her name's also Fernand where get Fernand anyways mayed was his other option can I say the most embarrassing thing that you can ever do ever is sing in public it's like there's nothing more embarrassing than that even like karaoke the most embarrassing thing you can do come on is sing in public and that's why we rever those who are good at it because they're good at it we Revere those who are good at it and those who have lacked of self-awareness to sing in public even though they're not good at it because you're like oh they're free you know what I mean they've been untethered from the chains of anxiety and inity embarassed but the rest of us normal humans that's the most embarrassing thing you can do and so the fact that Mayfair did I don't know if she couldn't tell or just didn't care that people were making fun of her for writing her out though a song and they're like Sing a Song Sing the song and she just broke out into it I had to mute the TV and walk out the room um but no we we watched it and you see Franchesca and one of the other girls from the pods laughing at her not Francesca yes Franchesca oh yeah yeah yes yes yes Franchesca was friends with friend friend yeah um but Mayfair I knew it from the Pod that her vibe was just a little always going to be better with her though MH so I wasn't surprised when at the reunion oh gosh it was which is Al was another weird thing that they kept I guess Fernando was late so she got a grand entrance but it was after that they had a conversation where they said that Mayfair and herard had gotten together after the experiment but then they were kind of koi on whether or not they had acted actually worked out and then all of a sudden he's like here okay I'll do it and then he kissed her and she did not see she did not see him like oh she didn't Swoon or anything no just kind of like oh and then he I was a little confused so they made him stand on the circle and I was like well if he kissed her and they're not together that's the weirdest thing I've ever seen and it went red and they like yeah we're just friends and I was like what is going on was very bizarre I was like am I missing something in translation now if I you know I was thinking I was but no it just felt weird it was very weird and then after that Fernanda comes out yeah and then they're like Fernanda did you hear all that just went on and she was like yeah and obviously she was still upset and they made them go to the circle and have they were like we obviously know y'all aren't together but what you know these this can be like some final words you have for each other which was so crazy she like okay okay and I can't even remember what she said but it was clear that she was oh she accused him of going on the show to promote his singing career oh my gosh guys please believe love was blind Mexico is so good every single one of these couples Des earn their own hourong pod breakdown of this yeah for real to accuse him of being a singer that came on the show for a celebrity I thought his answer was great yeah so many times on American reality shows the guys or the girls who do that are like no it was for true love I no how I was writing those songs for you herard was like yeah duh I was like I told you I was a singer I brought my guitar out all the time I said I wanted to advance my music career is this why why are you shocked why are you safe and she was like he's like yeah and I was like you know what fair play fair he also I thought he was so tall during the show but slowly surely I realized that he was just average height dude yeah I think the other guys were just short yeah I just think we were dealing with some shorties um so that was um their story which leaves us with Chim and syvia um which were a couple that I think were beating the odds yeah for the the entirety of the show yeah everyone doubted them except I guess the viewers because I believed in them I didn't um and okay maybe it's just me cuz also my coworker was like oh no I never believed that I didn't trust him and maybe that's knowing a little more about the cultural context of people like Chima um leads to more doubt but I had none and so I was like I will say though I will give you this he he really did appear to be very into her and even on the honeymoon they were like Chima this is not who we would expect you to be with and who was it that knew him from the past Franchesca Franchesca and she was like I know who he's been with in the past and this is she looks very different than that and um he was he he was just kind of like I'm I'm into her I like her she's sexy like you know and they had good chemistry right the one thing and and I do believe it he it was true but if you'll remember his brother says this is kind of par for the course for him he gets falls in love fast and he gets super involved really quickly and then for whatever reason it doesn't work out and that was pretty telling very telling well and then we started to see the cracks at her birthday because then they kind of went in on him again and he was like oh well I didn't like the dress she wore or the eyelashes she had on when we first met and she was like excuse me first of all it's my birthday right second of all don't say that don't say that yeah you know that there's a prime instigator I don't I forgot his name cuz he wasn't a main character on the show but he was apparently in the pods but it it was almost if Chima had already gone around telling the guys yeah cuz you see him smiling he like hey Chim tell us what tell us again what you thought about that could be true and he was instigator because I was like why would you ask that yeah and then Chima was like no joke just straight face like yeah eyelashes could have been better and then when it got pressed on he's like I listen I'm an hon guy your eyelasses were messed up you were tow up from the flow up the dress was ugly I had to say something it's like bro really you don't say that about your fiance yeah so and if and if it happens say like oh you're so beautiful that even like the the style isn't what I normally go for but you changed my whole opinion because you looked marvelous yeah do something like that right he couldn't do it no um so which he just was like you know I'm just honest but you're beautiful I love you you know so and then and but and she accepted it but you saw a little bit from her too that she was kind of like a okay yeah but kind of hold it in her back pocket right um so when they got to the marriage who knew what they were going to do they didn't really do anything they just grabbed each other and ran off yeah they were like we're going to do this our way and just left the alter together yeah the mother was his mom was like I'm not entirely sure what happened yeah I'm waiting for his mom was pretty tough yeah she was like I she was like skeptical of Sylvia because of her job remember she's like I think she should have a real job basically which you know yeah uh yeah she just said it wasn't sustainable yeah and then um so yeah it appeared that they were going to stay together and I'll say this too Jima has a baby a child who's only like 13 months old right at the time of filming at the time of filming and svia was oh about being there for that baby which I think is so amazing and not a a lot of women would be like no that's too young there's too much baggage like too much drama I'm not going to do that but she was all about it and let's talk about Sylvia I don't know if it's a cultural thing and maybe I need to stop saying that but she's just a normal beautiful woman yeah she's labeled herself as a curvy model okay I don't know all the breakdowns of modeling class ifications but the fact that it became such a storyline like I don't know if her body type is the type used I'm like what she's like d she's a tall no one was talking about her being tall it was all about but it's not like she we're not talking about Fat Albert here we're not even talking about like um like some of the plus-size models I think of in America not even she wasn't even that big I mean she was just bigger than him and he's short so like most women are they were basically the same height right out of heels yeah and so that I felt that was very unfair that that became a storyline same um yeah so yeah anyways they get on the re encount the re reunion Circle it lights up red and she's not in the touchy Fey I love you you know all season they were pretty just like the fun loving haha Giggles fun times couple and she had really switched up her tune at the reunion like you could tell she was salty and not happy about something and she was really it really seemed like she was blaming him for the end yeah yeah yeah yeah it was you know they brought she brought up quite a few um things that upset her about it she brought up the wedding again which I mean not the wedding the birthday foa that he he did which of course it was deserved that he um uh to for that to get brought up but just in general it felt like she didn't feel like he was truly committed to her yeah and to the process right and I forget they said why exactly oh she said and they said there were things that he needed to fix that were going to take too much time to fix or that he couldn't fix didn't get into specifics but that couldn't didn't involve her he the fix wasn't a thing she could be involved in like is he a secret agent from the run on the run from my Algerian you know what I mean like terroristic plot like no what's going on right but no it was just it was it was some personal issues that led to their their breakup yeah she was not happy about him yeah but I'm glad she stood up for herself um they all seem to have a no one seemed to hate each other except for Franchesca and Willie and Aro and Fernanda but and Chima and maybe not so much I don't yeah I don't know if they hate each other I don't know if they're gonna be well they said they're friends but it was kind of like we're friends yeah and I don't think so so actually it's just Karen and Fernando yeah they were the only successful and Rene seem to be chummy yeah they might be anyways um so that was that those are our couples the reunion great I like that it was a little different pace than the American one um um and I know the hosts were fine I thought they were okay I love that they brought an act seem to be people who are a little more accustomed to hosting a reunion show I forgotten their names but just think they it's like they brought in um Andy what's his name Cohen even though he's in trouble Andy Cohen and um someone else I forget he's in trouble I didn't send you that Tik Tok of what he sent to Brandy Glenville oh yeah uh so it was a good season of Love is Blind Mexico I really hope you enjoyed it as much as we did should we wait to talk about UK until we see the UK reunion because it's coming out Monday no let's talk about it now okay I want to talk Love is Blind UK about it now I got stuff to say right now there there's a microphone in front of me all right so let's get into it love is blind UK I've decided to do this T interview no T podcast please spare Us in uh my authentic o that's horrible that's horrible dang I really don't have a British accent anymore you don't that's that's unfortunate I don't think we should be doing accents okay you should be doing accents let's get into it love is blind ukai Love is Blind UK also was going running concurrently to um Love is Blind Mexico and so it made for a nice change of pace um we had the finale we had our couples make it all the way we had six couples is that true six couples make it to the end and we had to see the alter decisions yeah so it was an jammed packed to finale well can we just say out of six couples we saw three marriages three marriages that's a record for Love is Blind ah I think they've had three on American before think they've had three yeses three yeses I'm pretty sure I don't remember I can't remember the nitty-gritty but it doesn't seem like that's out of the realm it seemed to me like it was out of the realm um but uh yeah they've had um uh they had three people make it all the way and three people um not but that's six couples in total so we don't want this to be a 7-hour pod so we're going to talk about everything we can this time and then we'll get into that's fair more it with the reunion so it's kind of like splitting the 7h hour po up into into too yeah so we'll do that next week okay but let's talk about um let's do a yes first let's just do it in the order Sabrina and Steph we can make this quick I think from the beginning it was like they're cute they like each other seem like a great match they seemed mature they're not going to let the things get in the way they had obstacles and if they didn't want it to work out they could have stopped them yeah she was a little bit more serious I think than he was serious in like personality wise serious which I'm not saying is a bad thing I'm just saying it it just I don't know they just seemed it's not like he was like a prankster or anything they seem like a Wellfit his friends were very brutally honest like this is crazy but if youall like it good thing I can't even imagine he said he he hadn't even told them he was going on the show yeah so imagine your mate goes off yeah you you're like and it's not weird to not see your mate for a couple for four weeks you know what I mean well you're but one of them was his brother and remember it's not weird to not see your brother okay but they take their phones away and if I hadn't heard from my sister in 3 weeks a text a call something like we would be out looking like that's not well they get their phones back after two weeks is it two weeks like they do 10 days and the pods and then I think they do a week in tum so two to three weeks at the same time who cares all I'm saying is if you're one of my loved ones contact me at least let me know you're going to be off the grid get in get in contact with her okay so yeah and then her family was a little apprehensive but they liked him I think yeah they were like well we've seen you sad before we've seen you heartbroken before so we don't want to have to go through that again but it seemed to be it seemed to work out everyone seemed to like each other we weren't really doubting it if we were maybe feeling like it's possible they do the oh let's continue to date but not getting married but we're like really into each other we're just but no they did it they got married beautiful venue M beautiful ceremony everything was beautiful in that place except for those I don't know what to call them I've been saying cream but it's not even really cream it's like like a I don't know the color of the wall walls in that in that venue in the the castle Mansion kind of like an orange yeah like an orange cream sickle but not appetizing and it had the marble the black marble with yeah that really dark marble but not everyone got married there they all got married in that building but out in that room yeah so yeah it was a beautiful ceremony they both said sweet things to each other and they both seem very committed there's Steven and Sabrina yeah then who do we have next after Steven and Sabrina they had Demi and ol I think so do you mean olly I told people listen if olly had ended up breaking dem's heart I was going to fly out to UK and find it myself uh if I is my favorite in Love is Blind Mexico I would say that Demi is my favorite demy was awesome and her family was so awesome her dad just loves her he is her she is his little girl apple of his eye and he just seems like he probably doesn't say much but he means when he says and they when they met his her family they went bowling and that was just super cute and her family seemed fine relaxed she seemed like have a great relationship with her siblings it just was really beautiful and she had a great personal journey of self-growth and that she said like oh like I didn't think I could be the one to be around a bunch of beautiful women and still have confidence in myself or think I was deserving of love and being married to someone but I know that I have that now I know that I look good I'm very happy with myself and I was like you go girl you know what I mean yeah they really The Producers seemed to write a story of olly being into looks and and and maybe he wasn't going to be into dem's look but he did seem to be into her look from the beginning he said I thought she she has curves and I love her curves and all this but then when we were at the honeymoon they were struggling well he never he never said anything about not being attracted to her he was always in her right right but he did kind of slow down and never really P picked that storyline back up and that he wasn't eager to jump into intimacy which you know that's to Easter oh that's not really that that's not that crazy ideal in fact most people I think most people yeah be like no I we just met you know what but they were all yeah you're right and and I'm sure there was pressure because they were all talking about it right right and how what they had done and how hot it was and blah blah blah blah blah and so then when you're the only one who's not talking about it maybe you do feel some sort of insecurity but it got to a point where he was just like he was like I'm ready to go like I don't like this I feel uncomfortable well he did bring up his ADHD that was way later right but that's what I'm saying he great up has ADHD that when he Fells over overwhelmed he just it's a big it's a big deal for him that's true so that's another thing we live in America live in Houston Texas maybe it's because you're a counselor and we I've got a proximity to it but I feel like it's become Americanized to not have there be a stigma around ADHD and maybe there was in the 80s 90s but now when people say they have ADHD I I don't mean this in an offensive way and maybe it is uncons but I'm truly like okay so you know I mean right not in like I don't care but just like yeah okay yeah it's like saying I'm left-handed yeah it's just a des scripture of you and maybe it's were privileged because of the medication and it's not stigmatized to seek help for it but a Common Thread on Love is Blind Mexico that had with UK yeah is that it was it like had a whole segment on HD and they like explained what it was yeah I think it's called TDA the acronym in in Spanish cuz let has it and it was like a reoccurring thing he said it's very cute and I was like oh wow you know and he had it you're right they had to explain it and what it's like living with it and he was like I've only told like literally they sat down and I said oh he has a he must have ADHD which I am couns but I'm not actually diagnosing I have to give my disclaimer and then he was like yeah I've only told three people this in my entire life life but I have pretty severe ADHD and I'm like so the the fact that he said I've only told three people says to me that yeah there is still a stigma around it yeah so you that was just a little confusing um but that played a part of it he was overwhelmed because his ex Catherine the person he also had a relationship with in the pods was there and wasn't ugly you know what I mean true but I think looking back he knew what cathine would look like he said oh I figured you I know the exactly type of type of girls that go to that club yes yes and he said she like did you look how I expected he's like you look exactly how I expected so it's not like oh I picked the one less attractive one he knew kind of girls he was picking yeah I think I think he was just kind of overwhelmed I think maybe in the past he's picked girls like Catherine a lot definitely and he was like no I I I'm grown and I need something different and not to say that Catherine is a horrible choice but for him it might not she wasn't suited and I also do think he did he should have handled it a little better with how he went about still feeling attractive to Catherine being into her but that all happened we had Jasmine sick on him and he didn't like that so he I think he was a little turned off yeah why what was Jasmine even doing she was like grilling him like are you you're either into her or you're not which she was like yes I'm into her like what more do you want from me exactly I forgot got about that I felt he was very clear that he was like I'm into her I'm just a little you know it's a little it's a lot you know what's going on right now she's like well are you into her he's like yes are you into her yeah that's a little dramatic over exaggerating but that's what it felt like she just H yeah well we see where Jasmine might get those Tendencies from we'll talk about that yeah true but long story short olly Demi and I think she actually did think she was trying to protect her friend Demi yeah but but demy didn't want her to do that either like I yeah that's the you have you need to have your friend's permission if you're going to do something like that and still not be so maybe not go so um full force about it yeah I I agree um yeah so um I was going to be upset if they didn't work out but they didn't get married but it happened in the best way possible and that Demi made a choice for herself yeah that I she knew what she was deserving and what she needed to commit to someone as a wife and as for from them as a husband yeah and her and Ollie Weren't There Yet Olie wasn't there and so she was looking forward to continuing on but hey you know and I think that's amazing I do too take knowledge I love you and yes I do want to be with you but this is what I need yeah and I need to see you get there before I commit and if you can't you know what I mean it show me the steps you're taking right or the real commitment then we're not going to get there right I actually think she might have said yes had he not ghosted her for three days yeah that is inexcusable as much as we've been easy on Oli I'm like what was that about yeah that's that is not okay so basically they had three days where they had moved out of the apartment before the wedding right and she was like uh yeah it was pretty telling that he there was like no communication I'm like oh yeah that's not a good look yeah and that could be that could simply be a thing like him being like I don't text or call anybody like when I get alone me time I don't talk to my mom I don't talk to my brothers for all we know that's how he is yeah and they need a second to be like so what was that about but at least communicate that well maybe they didn't that's all I'm saying maybe they had maybe at that point they hadn't had time to get to that you know what I mean and for him he was like oh yeah we talked it was great cuz he didn't say oh we ghosted for him it might have been of course he's not just going to be like yeah I ghosted her for 3 days so you know what I mean so that could be that could be it and we might hear the reunion like oh we figured it out and we've got a wedding date plann yeah do you think they're still together no I don't think so either I don't think he was ready I don't think he there was something about him that was holding back holding back and I don't know if it's like an immaturity or just like a I just I don't know what it was he loves all he loved it appeared to me that he loved attention he loved when he got all the attention from the guys in the Pod and then when it was like negative attention on the honeymoon he hated that so it was like it's almost like maybe he wasn't getting enough attention in his marriage but then it was like well you have to also give her attention and I don't remember when she had her friends over and he kind of clammed up a little bit yeah it was not very talkative yeah maybe you're right yeah I agree so I don't know there's just something a little bit off I think olly you're in this they're in this experiment and they're you know you got a production team getting you to buy in I can see Ollie you know his family didn't show up until the day of the wedding yeah I could see olly like getting out taking a breather not talking to for another 3 days and Going H what was that about yeah and being like I that was crazy from his perspective yeah you know um and Katherine I would see her doing the same yeah um but we'll see when it comes to reunion if they're still together yeah let's keep this pace going we got Katherine and Freddy no we got to wait they were the in the bomb show you're right you're right right so after um um olly and oh we can do Maria and Tom because they were I I don't even want to do it let's just I mean this is basically all I have to say they weren't really compatible they weren't I he was very bougie he well I don't think bougie is the word I think classist is the word oh you know what thank you I agree I think he just because he told her yeah I wanted to given you a chance in the real world after I found out what your job was and then it was like this whole big thing that other thing was she wanted a man to provide for her right and he was like no you need to work too he said I I need my wife to work not need like he needed the money but like he wanted the wife who work yeah so it just yeah I think it just comes down to Value issues and classism honestly and it just it was sad because Maria's father has passed and he you know obviously wasn't there and she was like really feeling it and his her mom was there and her mom was so open to Tom and so welcoming and was just like please you know take care of my daughter basically and love her and call me Mom yeah and then he dumped her yeah he yeah he it's interesting I do think he class is a accurate description we don't have much um know knowledge about the separation of um accents you know um when it comes to associating them with class and wealth and the Brit when it comes to British accents but we saw people saying online like oh it's so obvious he picked Maria over Tash initially in the pods because Maria has a posher sounding accent than Tash um and so taking that into account with how he feels about um um jobs and people working to think it's not a stretch to think that that colored his his views on who he wanted to be with if someone sounded like they were a little upper crust as opposed to someone a a woman of the people so that that was it I never expected them to get married I'm I'm talking about to the honeymoon I remember him sitting I can remember the scene where he was sitting you know and I was like oh these two aren't going to work out I just I'm surprised she seemed he answered she didn't answer but she seemed like she was going to say yes and I'm a little surprised by that too I I think well he answered first yeah which I think gave her the leeway to seem like she was going to say yes true cuz I don't think she was going to say yes she was crying she was sad she was emotional but not in a happy Sabrina way and Steven way and then like oh gosh true this is about to be a hard thing that we're about to do yeah um that's really that's truly all I have on Maran and Tom it'll be interesting to see if they are friendly at the reunion I doubt it or if they're kind of like William Franchesca where they've even more set in their difference probably more that so we had Maria and Tom then we had um Bobby and Jasmine Bobby and Jasmine and they're also they're also a couple we believe in are rooting for but honestly I think they're my favorite couple they're a great couple I love them I love them oh wow I think and I have not said this really while we were watching yeah yeah Jasmine she's a little firecracker definitely and she kind of reminds me of myself when she first she's also gorgeous okay gorgeous when she first got them back when they first got back from the the um um from Kur Kuru yeah Corfu Corfu whatever we're not rich and from Greece and she they got their phones and their internet access back she pulled out a laptop I was like what's this and it was a video he recorded four years ago or whatever of him what was music video the song I don't remember but we can we can look it up for the next pod yeah and and he's you know of course like dancing on a yacht and there's dancing on and stuff like that's not a big deal but she was kind of like sudden expectations like don't do this basically don't think that you're going to be with me doing this and he was and he didn't have any problem he like yeah like yeah it was a long time ago like okay yeah he definitely was and she seemed very much into him they only had one big obstacle and that was of course the tornado that flew in from the Philippines her mother who demanded to be involved in her life yeah and basically had some tough questions her mom was also a firecracker but maybe even a fir work yeah her okay what's the difference I don't know so anyways cut that out that's going in fact that's a Tik Tock um so yeah I don't she you know looking back the moms and dads that come on the show and give their kids a lot of grief for getting married in a month on the show are made out to be villains yeah but it is like I just met this guy that you're going to marry tomorrow yeah and it's my only I only have the next 24 hours to advise you on it yeah I'm going hard okay but she was out of pocket she literally said she's like people who are uneducated are hard to have a conversation with yeah she like what's your education relation oh no you at a conversation with yeah she said people who are uneducated are hard to have hold a conversation with yeah and then that she was like oh I don't know if you make enough money to live in London that's very exp provide for my daughter for my daughter she said I need to I need you to tell me about every little fight you have she's like no that's not that's not good for the relationship I will say before they met her Jasmine was like yeah my mom's really tough like she's probably going to come in hard and like lay it all out and you know and and I was kind of like oh Jasmine like give it to him with a little bit of like it's GNA be okay I'm gonna be there for you right cuz he didn't really didn't show her saying that I was like you have to say you can't just excuse your parents or your family and be like they're bad so what right so so I was concerned going into it I was like oh No like is Jasmine going to be on her mom's side you know but then she really did stand up for Bob right which is the key to a good relationship with your spouse you know for this reason a man leaves his mother and father is what Christ Jesus says a little sermon there for you but yeah you got to you have to stick together and so the fact that she was willing to confront to acknowledge the advice of her mom but also say but this is our relationship you know what I mean um I think was a great sign yeah even said that even though even that said I was a little worried the wedding day she was very nervous cuz she was like my you know she's like my mom you know we had another conversation and just told me all of her concerns and that was off camera so imagine that and she was like so of course I'm going to take my mom's thoughts into consideration and then she was crying a lot and I was worried she wasn't making the right kind of eye contact it seemed like tears of like I'm about to break this man's heart right but but it could have been tears of like I'm about to go explicitly against what my who loves me says yeah but at the end of the day they both say yes yeah and not only do they both say yes her mother's like am I scared my daughter is going to make the same mistakes that I made her mother had multiple Fair marriages yes but looking and seeing how happy she is how could I not be happy for her so I love my daughter she told Bobby that she loves him yeah and when Bobby was like all my ti I love you you know what I mean that's a good that's a big sign to say to your your your um child's uh partner spouse that quickly hey I love you it's like it's a sign of I'm on your side ultimately even though I might be in the nitty-gritty and like noise you don't like you know what I mean right I do ultimately feel like she's got Jasmine's best interest in her oh yeah some parents are controlling and it's because they're egotistical narcissists who want to live vicariously through their children and if they don't want it their children doesn't get it you know what I mean I don't want you to date that guy not because I don't think he's right from you I just don't want him you know what I mean but and I don't think that I think it she was just concerned about Jasmine's well-being and her long-term love yeah so so that was beautiful they had a really was it them that had a really beautiful no I think it was Bay and Nicole they all had a beautiful venue yeah the florals in banana Nicole's wedding beautiful with him well so then they had at the reception they were dancing and it was like all romantic and then they played Bobby's song and they were all getting down to it dancing it was super cute super fun yeah but uh Bobby also had like 17 brothers and sisters but they all seem very close I think again I think some of them were cousins okay that was exaggerating it was kind of a joke tin te joke but they all seem close they all seem very sentimental I love that when a family can be close and United same um and express um vulnerability yeah um like it's yeah so anyways uh so then B Nicole a little more Rocky of a road to get to their love story you know banaya is another one though that once they were out of the pods you could tell how much he loved and rode for Nicole yeah I think the best what's made these relationships successful the ones that were were the men who were in love truly yeah um um Fernand Fernando and love is BL Mexico Steven you can tell he loves Sabrina yeah um Bobby just just Smitten by Jasmine um what's his name Baya yeah Baya you know these ones that's successful are successful because for I think they all have that in common yeah um Jared and Brooke even um so yeah bah bah um was very had was when he when he when Nicole initially broke up to him broke up we found out last week that he went to Germany to visit his his family and they said they never seen him that sad it was kind of scary how sad he was but then Nicole and him they Rec reconcile picks himself back up so I was a little worried when he when Nicole met his parents his mom and sister yeah and even and I I guess I was having trouble reading his mom at first I was like uh oh is this going to be bad but no they were very welcoming yeah very supportive right they loved Nicole right and his sister was even like like I can tell like there's something special here I at that point was still very shaky I did not trust her Nicole there was something almost not I don't want to say standoffish she but maybe she was a little guarded because she's been married before because she had this stuff with Sam I think she was a little bit guarded yeah and I say I said this when we were watching She's Like the opposite of um of JY from The Bachelorette who I felt communicated very clearly was very good at expressing herself and Nicole sometimes I felt was the opposite like yeah she was she's not a great communicator yeah I didn't really understand some of her points maybe it was the editing thing but yeah so however she did say at the wedding day her two concerns were he's used to this like nomadic lifestyle what if he feels trapped and that I can understand and but I can't remember the other one well she's been married before and so she needs to know if he's really ready to be commit committed yeah through like the hard right right right so that's had going on they had the Sam drama which we didn't actually record an episode where we talked about did we have we not talked about the Sam drama yeah him bringing up that we with the in the pods but not outside of it oh him bringing up about the her wanting to sleep with him really you're right it could it was interesting his motivation I think we don't know I think I come to the I come on the side of that Sam never meant it from a good place no Sam did not strike me as a guy like I'm just looking out for you bayah yeah I believe more that he was trying to hurt and and how he was characterizing that interaction but bayah handed it in a great way she said do not talk about my fiance yeah like that no matter what you know what I mean bringing that up without her knowing her consent you know what I'm saying and that was a thing too that tells a lot about Bay he wasn't mad about that he wasn't or at least we didn't see him be mad about the fact that maybe she wanted to be intimate with him he was mad about the fact that Sam would tell her private business like that to potentially hurt him when really you're just hurting her right and it was really it was really telling of why bayah treated Nicole so we didn't have any doubts about banay I don't think no um my only thoughts were Nicole and that I felt like maybe she just wasn't feeling it or wasn't ready yeah um but no they had a beautiful ceremony the got it was very small it was very small like maybe 20 people total her her dad couldn't make it his parents couldn't family couldn't make it cuz grandfather was sick but it was beautiful and it was intimate and yeah they had like a dinner at this like huge table which I thought was really fun yeah and they and they both said yes yeah said I do they're committed to each other he he had really be he he was one of the guys that had really good vows Bobby had Immaculate vows yeah I thought that there was a chance jasine was going to say no I was like how do you say no after that and maybe that's why no I'm joking but he had good vows and B had good vows Bobby had really good vows there was another guy that had good vows I had thought but or maybe it's demy Who had who had good vows I don't remember um but that was always such a telling sign when they did the like do you say I do and they go I love you and like oh yeah that's the that's the kicker which it happened with our final couple it also appeared that they told the person who said no to leave yeah which is different from America you always see what like the person who got dumped leave right right so it was really actually unfortunate cuz then you're sitting there alone at the altar and you just got dumped yeah it was so interesting to see the re reactions of that Demi after that happens she goes and leaves and her dad follows her and he gets up he like excuse himself he's like I'm just going to go check on her he sits and he he was like oh we don't have to talk I just want that was so sweet and it was so sweet he just said I'm proud of you like she said he's like if you're happy I'm happy yeah and that was beautiful Katherine's dad which we're about to talk about did the same thing because spoil I mean you know what happened Freddy says no yeah and he goes but she didn't want con consolation she says she felt numb and wanted to be alone and I almost wanted to reach through the screen and be like girl need your dad right now you need like you don't even know it but this is like one you just don't get that often too much with parents anymore you're both adults you know what I mean this is a chance where if there's any chance for an adult woman to be consulted by her dad it's it's getting turned down at the alar like come on girl right but let let's talk about Katherine and Freddy I I never thought they were getting I just thought it would go down different well yeah we never saw we just saw previews of him calling and his friends consoling him and then her walking out right so it's kind of obvious that they weren't getting married true that's true but it was like but what is the story right so he's a funeral director um who is kind of a homebody and she is a I forgot her her profession she likes to party now she likes to go out and she's bie she said she was bougie now people yeah she does like to party and go out but I mean she's got clubs she likes to go to I don't think he I don't think Freddy knows the name of one Club what were they were okay so when they met his friend met her friends she was like that he was like I'm kind of concerned that I I don't know if I can keep up with the lifestyle that she wants right right and her friends were like and she was like getting a little defensive and was like it's not like I want to go to noou every night and he was like what snow boo exactly he didn't even know so that's what I'm saying that's a disparity I don't think he meant it to be rude right like oh you always trying to part that was horrible you're always trying to party yeah she was just like not really like I don't party like that you know I mean I'm really needs to party even though that I think remains to be seen and I don't right like we don't really know her lifestyle but we know that his lifestyle is chill and she's not as chill right he was laidback relaxed and joking and when he tried to be like that with her she's like why are you joking all time which really bothers me I'm sorry but that bothers me I don't know if that was just like that day she was in an irritated mood and that I can understand but it just was like it that really do dimmed his light the rest of not he was not jokey laughy Smiley he was and even serious sister was like catching on to that like you are not yourself with her exactly she's like don't change you know what I mean and but I think he loved her so much that he was like okay yeah I need to be serious yeah and she didn't even seem to notice she didn't be like oh you're not sure you know what I mean yeah now let's also talk about changing yourself he was joking laugh but she didn't like that but she went and flirted with Sam and all feel my god with Sam saying like he looks like my ex and oh my that made me so upset because when they so they're at the this one of the parties right and she kept saying oh Sam looks like my ex he looks so much like my ex and not like oh wow he looks like my oh my gosh yeah he looks just like my ass and Freddy was just kind of like knock it off so then Freddy says something about some other girl being girl and she what yeah and he's like well what you've been talking about Sam looking like your ex so obviously you think he's attractive right and so then after they have this little tiff she goes and talks to Sam and she's flirting with him like oh my God and she said oh you're you're ring that's the ring I wanted Nicole had just given the ring back to to Sam and she was like oh what's that and he shows her and she's like oh that's the ring I wanted the one I have is a knuckle dust which I had to go look up do you know what that is just a small ring no when I looked it up brass knuckles came up oh yeah so I think she was saying like it's not like it's not pretty she doesn't like it and that is so sad because Freddy got that ring for you he picked it out he wanted to give it to you and now you're just talking crap about it right he also that was another the day of the wedding you got a really nice earrings that matched the ring and and I'm not her ring was huge okay her Diamond was huge so she was just so I just don't even I don't even get I don't get it and then in her in the moment she was like yeah I guess I like to flirt like oh Catherine girl yeah she says I like to laugh and joke around and smile but I don't know if that's flirting you're like no that's flirting um she also has came in the show with a bit of reputation for people who like British reality TV we had we did not know this until afterwards but this is her third appearance on reality TV yeah dating reality TV dating reality TV she was on two uh IAA abisa themed dating shows in the in the UK one she was the crazy ex of a man that was on the show they had hooked up and she was coming back to get her man and everyone's like what you yeah what so she was deemed truly like people who watch that show that's the context they had of like oh that's that guy's crazy ex then she went on another one that again we haven't watched these shows where you know she went on a blind date with somebody yeah seems like so I mean dating in reality TV is not something that's new to her yeah so that's I think what's colored my perception of her saying oh no but after she gets the Rings at least the way it's edited it looks like she's thinking oh man maybe I should say yes you know what I mean like I love Freddy maybe it's time to settle down and she was like and I don't think he would get me this gift if he wasn't going to say yes cuz she was also which I was kind of thinking too I agree I think that was proper reasoning but he's going the other way and that he's getting more and more like I don't know yeah his sister was like Sor I hate to do this but I have to cuz I'm your sister I'm not I'm not I think there's too many differences right and he he faced it head on it was very hard to do what he did did he said no I don't think we're ready I love you I want to date you I don't think you're ready yeah she walks off he gives her time he talks to her family I you don't have to do that I thought that was very um respectful of her it was respectful and it's if you really do want to be with her you got to explain her parents why you just embarrassed to her like that and they seem to respect it they were a little bristly but they actually seemed very sweet yeah and but the dad did the dad thing he like so now what's your intentions my daugh and he said to be with her provide you know love respect and grow to the point where we can't you and it was almost like well dang okay yeah all right so then he goes and talks to her and she is just kind of in disarray yeah she doesn't really know her how she feels she doesn't know she likes them but I don't blame her after you say someone says no to you at the altar I wouldn't want to either yeah it would take everything you know what I'm saying so I I for that reason and because I also think Catherine is going to wake up out of this experiment stup when she gets back into the real world and be like no I'm heading to the club you know what I mean yeah I don't expect them to still be together I even though they leave the show committing to trying right I doubt it I I don't think so either dang Love is Blind what's okay so hours and hours of entertainment right we've seen Love is Blind Mexico we've seen Love is Blind UK we've seen all of Love is Blind to us when you watch Love is Blind what is your assessment do you think that love is blind is a working is a show that works or do you think it's you can't they can't find love I think it works just as good as any other reality dating TV show um do does that mean I think it's the best mode no do does that mean I think it's the worst no yeah if you look at the I'm neutral I feel like it can work if you look at the numbers of contestants cuz we're just thinking about the couples that match but the total contestants on the show most of them don't get engaged but the ones that do get engaged they do and then of those people some of them do but the ones that do happen it lasts yeah it truly lasts here's what I think it comes down to the producers have yet to cast just a butt ugly person yeah they wouldn't do that so you go on the show you have the at less some people have reacted as if the person was butt ugly we have to think about uh Arena or oh gosh so and Zach so I take that back but I'm from most people's perspective these people are average to attractive yeah no one's in there just been like I love them so much but I'm physically repulsed yeah except for Irena who again yeah but and then you've got that and then you've got people working and living it out right and then with the the biggest thing is doing it all so quickly but after watching shows like Indian Matchmaker and Jewish Matchmaker I actually do believe not an arranged marriage but I do think it can work you know what I mean yeah and so this is kind of like a uh half arranged marriage and I do think it can work out and I think ultimately when you're married you should strive to make it work out and so when they make that commitment there's no reason for it not to Sans abuse you know what I mean to or you get what I'm trying to say but to figure it out and work it out yeah so that is our love is blind Extravaganza um do you have a brick Buzz bricks Buzz segment let's Nock it's gone on too long it's gone on long enough it's gone on long enough we I want just for the sake of of starting it because Rose Winners we it's a new segment with the real with the rose winners we didn't prep for it but just to get the ball rolling to keep that um inertia let who would we wi to give a rose to it can be any bronze gold definitely give the people's Rose to Jord in Childs yes because she has been unfairly treated yeah and gotten her bronze medal taken away but guess what Jordan we have something even better for you the people's Rose The People's Rose and you know what you will always be the bronze medal winner and holder in my heart forever beautiful um in addition to the people's Rose I will give um I will give a gold r R to Demi for standing up for herself and and having the wherewithal to uh to um you know do what's best for her um I will also give the people's Rose to Gus walls I thought it was very beautiful he's a he's a son of the democratic nominee uh for vice president and he just as a dad seeing him get up and and scream I you know that's my dad proud and showing that level of emotion um I think is a good thing for men to see and so I um I'm really supportive of that um and then and then now cancell dear's reality sports segment I do have some reality sports news I'm seeing reports that um oh my goodness what's her name um Victoria from The Bachelor yeah dating oh my gosh she dumped Greg grippo well she dumped him but she's dating a football player a quarterback whose Name Escapes me at the moment um I want to say it was Drake may but it might not be Drake may but maybe
