um you know I like what we get from Marina off the bench because we always know that she's going to be able to come in and give us that scoring punch um you know and and and facilitating you know quite honestly too so I like what we've been able to get from her uh I'm proud of our group you know this is this was a tough tough trip um you know a back toback less than 24 hours between Tiff times um you know we're traveling both places it's an hour commute to to the airports so you know it it was a tough one and and we talked about it you know we can't give into that uh we got to be mentally um as as much as physically uh locked in it was kind of one of those gut check games for us and I'm proud of our group for coming out and responded um you know it wasn't always pretty and and you know we made it difficult um but at the same time we contined to find ways to to win ballg games and get production from multiple people and and that's important for us as we continue to uh to build heading down the stretch Magie well I just told her welcome back when I saw her in the hallway you know she's she's struggled a little bit over the last you know four or five games and it was nice to see her out there um with a little bit of Bounce and and finishing around the rim you know getting good looks and it's it's tough when you're a post player in this league um especially when you're when you're somebody like Breezy the physicality um you know and and and you you have to be physical on defense and then the physicality against you when you're on the offensive end of the floor you know but but she was huge for us and not just those numbers right there but uh you know we keep 50-50 balls and hustle stats and she had six 50-50 balls today um she did the same thing in Washington so while she might not have been scoring at the same clip like making big plays hustle plays taking charges like all of those things um but I was I was so proud um that that she was able to get it going offensively Vicki it is you know between her and Tai it's like you can't tell whether they just won the lottery or lost the cat um you know they both kind of seem very uh they're both very stoic and kind of even ke and and that's good I mean you know we've got some players that that have high emotion right so we need some other ones that kind of balance them out so yep that's certainly Breezy Kayla than here yeah I think um The Challenge early is just um you know finding the right combinations for spacing on the floor um for most efficient offense and defense um you know what can that look like what can our coverages be with certain certain lineups on the floor um you know I like what we get from Marina off the bench because we always know that she's going to be able to come in and give us that scoring punch um you know and and and facilitate you know quite honestly too so I like what we've been able to get from her you know obviously V's been really consistent for us over the course of of the Season as well um you know and Liv live Liv didn't shoot the ball particularly well today but but you know coming in and giving us giving us important minutes on both ends um so I I like our rotation um I like the fact that that if somebody has a day where they're just not having it uh we've got another player that can come in and kind of fill the Gap um so it might not always be that we're subbing in for the exact same person every time it's just okay who's got it they can that we'll roll with that and who doesn't um or what what matchup don't we like or what don't we like about our spacing on the floor um and and we can kind of um kind of pick and choose there but but I mean we've solidified pretty much an eight-man rotation and and and we're gonna continue to just grow in that see [Music] you yeah I mean she's just tough you know she's just a tough tough player she's a a smart player um she never plays outside of herself so she's always pretty efficient um you know she she runs the team differently than than what Tai does and so so you know you can see her getting us into different kinds of offense um she's she's more of a facilitating point guard but as as you can tell I mean finding ways to to get her shots you know knocking down Big Catch and shoot threes I mean that's what we need from her um her ability to get to the rim and and you can see that she's getting more comfortable with different types of finishes around the rim um teams know she's a scoring point guard so oftentimes you're not rotating to her you're looking forward to pass so being able to score at The Rim is going to be important you know stepping up and knocking down free throws but more than anything being another Lockdown Defender I mean she's somebody that that we can give nay a little bit of a break um and and and move nay to someone else when when we need somebody it's hard to defend great scores for 40 minutes I mean it's really hard so so V gives us another another look on the defensive end Maggie then Vicky um she seems to be feeling all right you know I think she just got hit in the same spot so obviously it was was sore and um but she came back she bounced back I thought she was moving pretty well I'm sure she'll be sore tomorrow um but you know for her uh her line was really good I mean she was efficient from the floor um you know what eight rebounds eight assists eight points I mean again you see our ability to play through her in a facilitating role um you know but her ability to to be a lock down Defender for us as well um you know and her energy you know I thought her energy was really good I'm glad that we could keep her kind of under 30 um as she was working back and and you know she's tough she's if she can play she's going to play Vicky yeah I mean I think so it's always kind of in your mind when the team's coming off of a of a hot shooting day um but at the end of the day you play the percentages most of the time no I I think that we just did a really good job of of finding the the mismatches in the switches finding the matchups that we wanted um going at them and and quite honestly outside of the the the first quarter where we missed seven bunnies um finishing around the rim for the most part you know I think that that's um we just did a better job of of that I mean Seattle's a really good defensive team you know they're coming with rotations so we had to make the right reads and I thought for the most part we did D well they're already scary I mean with with the the talent that they have on this roster and you know Gabby is a a high energy player you know she is a player that can get downhill she's a player that is an active cutter uh you can't relax when you're guarding her um she's also a player who is really active on the defensive end of the floor I mean she's she's a little bit um you know like a she she can play multiple positions right so her versatility um her her energy is is is huge and so when you add an active cutter and and and um and somebody who can get downhill to a lineup that already has like sky juel eie and NECA I mean it makes it really scary and dangerous um you know she's still trying to find her way with this group um but you know it it it it makes them really tough to guard and um certainly makes it tough tougher to go against them on the defensive end of the floor adding
