may join open May congratulations what a battle you have to came down came down in the third set breakdown so how do you did you turn around the match um well thank you um yeah it was a difficult match you played well um her serve was very good she usually hit two first serves which most girls don't do that so it was difficult to break her but I just kept trying to get back into the match tried to do what I did in the first set um yeah I tried I was very nervous and I kind of I showed it I wasn't very calm on the court which um I've been working on but yeah I'm glad that I got through but you you seem calm from the outside perspective really really yeah I was not Cal inside in the second set you had to come down as well but then you lost that tie break it must hurt you know lost how did you get through that yeah I mean I was down in the set 35 and then I got back 65 then I was up in the tie break 5'2 I think and then I lost tie break 5'7 which definitely hurt I didn't I didn't want to go to a third set obviously but I mean I just had to try and regroup took a bathroom break tried to just take a bit extra time and regroup I you kind of a player who look at the draw look further in the draw are you that kind of a player um I try not to focus on who I might play or what what's coming I try to focus on each match but I do look at the draw I just like having an idea of where I am so you know you who's going to going to play tomorrow you know it uh I've never played her but I do know who is what do you expect for the match um I expect it to be another battle she's a very good player um but she's very nice she very fair so it should be a good match okay so if my mats are right tomorrow is going to be our 13 quarterfinal of the Year something like that what a year we have been playing so so well to to have two titles plus one fire final four semi-finals so how do you feel at the moment about your level like is very good yeah I feel great it's been a terrific year um and the beginning of the year I got a wild card into the Australian Open qual which was unbelievable a great experience and I wasn't expecting anything out of it but I got a couple matches there which boosted my confidence a lot and I kind of just carried that into the rest of the tournament and yeah it's been a great year so it came out of the blue for you this year the first professional year am I right yeah so were you were not expecting these kind of years so yeah if I if I told you like one one year ago you you're going to have two titles one final do you believe no I I would have been thrilled and now where is the roof I don't know well I have I'm going to college later this year really yeah why well I signed with Texas and I'm super excited to go so I want to get my education and then come back um I don't how long I'll be there for but hopefully I can be a good Improvement added to the team so no second talks about that because you were close to the Top Hand yeah no I'm I'm definitely going oh really nice but you expecting to be there what was invitation like what off the do do you expect to do you want to like one one hour one year ago to to be on the college team it was something that that you always wanted to yeah I uh I signed with Texas about 2 years ago oh really yeah okay so no second thoughts no okay take and now uh till the college do you have any gos to to to achieve um I'm just trying to get my ranking up as high as I can before I go um I'll play the US Open qual okay so see if I can get into the main draw that would be amazing LLY there's there's have been a lot of players coming from college for example de schneer is top 30 at the moment and a couple months ago she was playing on the college show why do you think that system works so so well um I think it's just a great stepping St cuz I mean a lot of people like the college aspect of like team environment and it really just improves all the skills you have you great coaches there you have great players to train with and your level just Skyrock it if you don't have that before okay nice and now do you do you have any reference Any Dream you can share with me I I I'm going to be honest I never heard about you till this year till Australian Open so can you share something like dreams goals you have for the future um the dream is to probably play the Olympics okay um I want to win a grand slam I want to and get to number one in the world but we'll take on and what's your story do you training in Australia or it's your base Australia yeah in Brisbane Brisbane okay so Los Angeles 20 28 it's the goal yes it's the goal okay thank you so much thank you
