ACTUALLY GOOD 49ERS NEWS: Talanoa Hufanga has returned to practice 🙌

we have some actually good news and it has nothing to do with the ongoing situation with Brandon iuk and Trent Williams so let's keep it what it is this is a video courtesy of David Lombardi of the athletic showing tala Noah who fonga back on the practice field and this has personally been something that I've been uh kind of waiting for for a while now um because obviously with week one coming close and the fact that tyen funga wasn't put on pup or IR there's still kind of questions about what his availability was going to look like at the start of the Season obviously after tearing his ACL against the Bucks last season so this to me is oh my gosh I needed some good news today and I'm sure you do too so let's take a look uh just wa just watching taloa uh this is how starved we are for good news just watching talanoa who Fung in a helmet in a jersey jogging over with his teammates um gosh man what a welcomed welcome sight obviously with the 49ers and taleno funga didn't practice all throughout training camp and uh I think I think we feel safe that he is officially uh on track at least to potentially be available for week one the fact that he is getting in practices this week prior to next week's actual like full-blown game week I get it 49ers are treating this week as a game week as well but how we typically look at it is the week before the game uh is game week so that's kind of what I've been holding out hope for and the fact that he's out here participating uh even a slight jog um feels good to see so uh really excited about this because obviously the San Francisco 49ers safeties um have actually looked pretty solid uh especially the rookie Malik Mustafa George Odum has taken strides this off season and Jer Brown has taken strides as well all the safeties got better this year and if taleno huanga can return To That All Pro status that we've gotten used to um that's just an even better scenario for the 49ers uh defense in general so man great to see uh something I've been really waiting for for some time now uh and just really happy to see talanoa he's such a great genuine guy um had the opportunity to talk with him for about five or six minutes at the Super Bowl and just chop it up um and he was a great dude man just great and humble and uh just just a great person so I I'm this is a guy I'm personally rooting for um and just really hope that he's able to bounce back with no setbacks and is able to do what we've come to know him as doing it's just being a playmaker so um the idea is is that moving into the season the 49ers will have Jer Brown and um taleno huanga as you're starting safeties uh to me Jer uh George odm has proved that he can get some snaps too and even Malik Mustafa and we did hear that the 49ers did keep Tracy Walker on the practice squad with the potential intention of elevating him for the game against the Jets but I'm just curious like well if if Talen noou Fung is back do they need to elevate him we'll see I'm just happy that he's back and in the building on the field good good news we we have something to celebrate let's go oh man what a good time I'll take the good news anyway I can get it uh I love it let me know what you guys think in the comments below and as always make sure to like And subscribe for more updates
