Rob 'Rabbit' Pitts, the beloved YouTuber known  for his channel *Rabbits Used Cars* and star   of Netflix’s *Tex Mex Motors,* has passed  away at the age of 45 due to stomach cancer.   His death was announced in a heartfelt  video titled “This is Goodbye,” uploaded   to his YouTube channel on August 25, 2024. Pitts had built a significant following on   YouTube through his extensive car-related  content, where he shared his passion for   automobiles. His work on *Tex Mex Motors*  also gained him recognition as he and his   team searched for undervalued cars in Mexico  to restore and sell in the United States.  The announcement video revealed that Pitts  began feeling unwell after attending SEMA   (Specialty Equipment Market Association) last  year, experiencing weight loss and symptoms   similar to acid reflux. Despite several  doctor visits, it was not until later that   he was diagnosed with stomach cancer. His videographer, Jeff,  confirmed Rob's passing in the video’s comments,   stating that Pitts passed away at 21:45  on August 25, 2024, while in hospice care.   Jeff also assured fans that Rob's YouTube  channel would be preserved in his memory.  Rob's passing follows the recent death of another  YouTuber, Pretty Pastel Please, whose cause of   death was revealed to be the rare heart disease  Lymphocytic myocarditis.
