I want to fight the best B Nichols turned me down twice now B where you at Andre patr that was a tremendous fight look up here you were able to land a lot of strikes with your pressure absolutely I mean I I'm pretty big for featherweight so I got some long arms and uh you know I got some laser Jabs out there so I start I put two on his nose and it was leaking so I was feeling pretty good k must fight uh that that's next you want that next yeah that's the name on the see that Jimmy get right out of him no he said that before though he said he wants ble no I've said it a million times like yeah like I said like in wrestling he there we have the Dan Hodge Trophy and that's like the Heisman of wrestling and he was the Dan Hodge Trophy winner okay I want a pie to have yeah I want to test myself against against that and and it ain't a straightup wrestling match obviously it's a fight you know yeah I like it hey you think you know you're right there I think that uh you know from the Denver showing that I can go three rounds in Denver I think kind of proves that like if they were to make me and B like a main event that I could do five rounds man I like not a lot of guys are calling out his name yeah you know uh what do you think of Shawn in the uh in the main event on Saturday one of your you know it's a great it's a it's an interesting matchup I really like it I think that um if the Shawn shows up that fought gelum uh wow I think he'll do very well against Burns I'll tell you he very rarely doesn't show up sha Brady he normally shows up like a Samurai yeah yeah yeah the one with Bel he got to the champ yeah and I think that um you know he went out there for like two like over two weeks for that fight to um Abu Dhabi and I would remember thinking like dude I think that's too much time to spend out there like it starts to wear on you not being home you know what I mean interesting ah sometimes people want to get acclimated but I got you yeah some could be a fun it's a fine timeline I find like a fine line with being out there too long and not being out there long enough you know what I mean yeah we went out for two weeks and I do think that that was very beneficial because we did get acclimated but I could like some people are everyone's different you know what I mean like some people don't do well being way so what's what's the what's the closest you'll cut it on something like that like where there's a big time difference or either that or an altitude difference what what's the closest you'll go like I cannot come like I have to come by this time or I'm in trouble historically I have a really bad time saying no to any opportunities but um I guess it just depends on like well the altitude was two weeks for for Denver we did two weeks and I think that that that would be a good I think that's a pretty good rule of thumb I think so too I AC I went on Wednesday oh yeah AC sure that's just a quick drive yeah same time zone when I used to fight in the Vegas I used to go at least 10 days early I used to get acclimated to Vegas oh yeah my session at Vegas would always be like am I in shape I'm breathing what the is this and then I get in Vegas in Vegas from New York why Vegas what's altitude is it the same or is it just it's higher than here no no it's higher than do you know that how much I don't but my lungs I think it's a th000 feet 2000 oh wow one feet wow oh all right that's about what and what is a Denver's mile high so it's I 25 uh it's 5,000 I think 5,000 feet yeah you see that you know when there's a Denver card because all the are just like suck in there and it's crazy that um you know what I saw is that all the there were so many short notice fights on the Denver card and all the short notice guys were the favorites that's something that's weird that you know what I mean you would have think that the short notice guys would have been underdogs because of the were the short notice guys from Denver were from altitude somewhere and the other guys weren't good point Jimmy I don't know I mean I don't I don't know which guys were made up for that oh well actually no Tracy Cortez was um she was Underdog right I'd have to go back and look at it yeah yeah I don't remember how good are you at picking fights Andre we we do it and I I like I watch a lot of fights and it's like I just don't know what the I'm talking about like I'm I pick them so badly I know man um this is what I've learned is like the more I know about fighting the less I know who's going to win yeah sometimes you overanalyze it you overanalyze the things and you like it's just it really at the end of it is it is a very very high level fist fight and and you know one guy is going to hit the other guy or or submit the other guy and I yeah sometimes I put too much thought into it I guess but so does Matt and he's always right annoys me yeah you know I I I played safe I pick opposite of you yeah that is the best way to do it it's a good strategy look I I Matt picked Jones to sub sirl gone by submission in the first round no one picked that but Matt no one picked that but Matt that's not a Bad Bet though it's not especially in hindsight but now yeah yeah afterwards I was like wow it's a great Point hey you seen Daniel Gracie at all is he in Vegas now fulltime uh wow that's an interesting question oh I didn't mean to throw a curveball at you where the is Daniel is he around we don't really know you know listen I don't want to be I I have nothing negative to say of course about Daniel um I just haven't seen him yeah man yeah who knows where henzo is these Brazilians they they travel they're crazy man I I don't know I someone told me that the Vegas gym closed down oh and which would mean he'd be back in Philly but you know I haven't seen him man I'm want to track him down yeah just for my own curiosity yeah I saw that Vegas thing opening up I hope that went well you know when did it open the the Vegas uh Gracie yeah I think it was like a year and a half ago maybe let me see hey the last something you w here you told us you were reading henna Gracie's book yeah it was a good one that what book was that 32 principles really good for business and stuff right it it the principles apply not all of them but most of them apply not only to Jiu-Jitsu but to also to like life principles life situations business yeah this is the Henry Gracie book he wrote this yes wow at the end of it does he have anything for a rible reversible hoodie coupon or something he does those he has those that guy he's like a smart smart business guy he get very smart yep the the yeah this the and then now his new thing is the sleeper hold the uh thing the headrest is that it yeah he's basically an eye mask that hooks to the headrest and you rest your eyes into the the eye mask and that's how you sleep kind of hover almost like an astronaut when they're floating like your head is kind of like it prevents you from falling forward but it's not your whole head being held right yeah and he's got a gift for when he's on the mic and in front of the camera he's got he's very very energetic he's got a PR a presence enthusiasm because his dad was very smooth too with his his okay so who's Henner's dad that's horon Gracie you know the creators one of the creators of the UFC yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah so that that's funny because his dad was very like business-minded and you could tell he's a Salesman not in a bad way but he had to gift the gab with the with the Gracies and H his dad um so Henner has a brother named Horan also uh I think it's uh Henner and there's so many there's so many Henner and I I don't know why the the other brothers he's Partners at the gym I know and man I suck is escaping me but but he's good also they the Gracie Brothers I mean yeah in Torrance yeah Torrance I like them they Jiu-Jitsu is very Gracie University right Gracie University yeah I'm looking at Gracie jiujitsu Gracie Las Vegas and the site is up and it says it's open so all right well all right checking down Daniel we well uh look Andre it was good talking to you and uh Andre have a great fight
