the Dolphins and the Eagles all that and more coming up next it has been a season of ups and downs twists and turns it all comes to a conclusion here tonight as we welcome you on this February night to the Caesars super doome in New Orleans this is Super Bowl 59 coming up a battle here in the NFL playoffs it's the AFC Champion Miami Dolphins and the champions of the NFC the Philadelphia Eagles one game tonight available in 195 different countries wherever you are thanks for having us in mik a champion set to be crowned tonight it's Super Bowl 59 and off we go to a flash of Lights here in New Orleans and a decent return there he'll get this up just shy of the 30 so the Philadelphia offense set to take over for the first time and leading them out their quarterback it's Jaylen Herz he admitted to us the other day Mike that he's started to feel a little anxious as game day approach and I think that's normal winning the NFC that's one thing but this is the type of stage that can take your legacy to a whole another level if you're able to come out on top but in order to make that happen he's going to have to put those oh no right at the start and loses the football it's a nice start to the drive game to 10 and a quick first down now obviously there's never a good time to Fumble the ball it's probably the thing that teams stress the most is ball security but it makes it a little bit easier knowing that your own team was able to fall on top of it and at least you can maintain possession and they bring him down but not until he crosses Midfield it's a pickup of 12 good for an eagles first down [Applause] Herz working in the pistol that's complete to his big tight end Dallas got and they'll move this ball way down into the Red Zone inside the 20 yd line a big play here in the big game and even 30 yards well they've come out swinging here on this opening drive through the air and that's exactly what they wanted to do generate some early chunk plays and try to get some points set to go now on First and [Applause] 10 they'll run the toss to Barkley and the Eagles are going to have themselves a first and goal he's out of Bounds at the seven yd line a first down there on a gain of 12 here for the first point of this Super Bowl first down and goal from the shotgun it's hers that is caught and he's going to be down close to the goal line good job defensively to make sure he did not get to the end [Applause] zone a second down throw for hers it is brought in in the end zone AJ Brown touchdown Eagles that opens the scoring here in Super Bowl 59 exactly the way they scripted this one a beautiful opening drive Greg able to find the End Zone on the game's first possession and Mike the word that comes to mind looking at that drive is execution and that's exactly what they talked about all week long they wanted to come out early in this game and establish an early Rhythm and that's exactly what what they did with that touchdown Drive 7 nothing is our score as this kick is sent into the air braxon baros now to bring it back he'll work his way across the 25 yd line the Miami offense will make their way onto the field led by their quarterback from the University of Alabama to a tangoo as much as you try to tell yourself Mike that this is just another game the reality reality is it just isn't it doesn't matter if it's your first Super Bowl or your 10th this is the game you've dreamt about playing in from the first time you put on pads all the way back in pop one you're bound to get emotional in some capacity but you have to get that out of the way and get ready to do everything in your power to turn those childhood dreams of hosting the Lombardi into a reality as long as this guy does his part they're going to have a fighting chance to come out on top on First and 10 and here's cha that's caught downfield by W and he will get into the end zone Jaylen W touchdown Dolphins a terrific play all the way around finished off by the receiver who not only made the grab but Greg turns it up and takes it into the end zone and that's the tricky part Mike that transition from receiver to Runner and in this case he does it flaw lessly look the ball in secure the catch and then get up field and get yourself in the end zone the extra point by Sanders is good and the Dolphins come right back to tie it at seven each team one possession each team a score 77 as they kick it off this is fielded inside the five good return but he pays the price at the end picked up and thrown down the Eagles offense ready to take over as we check out the playoff race in the NFC they'll break the Huddle coming up now for first and 10 here's turs that's to the right side caught by G they'll get about four here as he is taken down here's a second and six [Applause] Herz will work here from the pistol that's caught by Smith on the right side and they're going to have this all the way down inside the 30 yd line a big play here in the big game an even 40 yards this defense just gets punched into mouth on that one Mike and it just seemed from up here that not everyone on defense was on the same page and the offense was able to take advantage of it the defense has to clean things up here in a hurry cuz if they don't they could be in for a long [Applause] day a pistol snap back to Herz short pass taken in by the tight end and that keeps him ahead of schedule that's a first down completion of seven yds [Applause] Herz again quick slant into the hands of Smith and he'll be taken down the gain is six and it's a new set of downs he picked up the first down to the air again her he'll go right back to Smith they hook up again they'll work now on second and four again Herz oh and this one's going to wind up incomplete that's one you'd think he'd be able to Coral he can't find the handle and it's going to lead to a third down perks will try it again that's hot saquon Barkley looking for room out on the edge you're not going to find any as a matter of fact I think they tracked him down behind the line of scrimmage good job by the defense and it's Fourth Down Elliot's kick is good and the Eagles will break our tie and take a 107 lead it's always a little bit of a let down like you find yourself deep in the red zone and you have to settle for a short field goal like that in this case he's able to put it through and they get three he'll get this up to the 28 yd line nice place for the drive to start the Dolphins offense ready to see what they can do on their second possession this one has been tight so far a field goal separating the two sides as this drive kicks off with first and [Applause] 10 catch made there that's Smith it's not the big play they were hoping for but first down efficiency staying ahead of the chains is what every offense is trying to find and it brings up manageable second down the NFL's leader in rushing touchdowns last year Raheem moers and he is fortunate to get past the line of scrimmage call it a yard at most Jaylen Carter out of Georgia makes the tackle Hill brought in motion throwing on third down tungo byoa a nowhere to get away way and he's going to go down the best thing they did here Mike is keep their Rush Lane Integrity what that means is you have to rush the quarterback as a unit keep him in the pocket keep him on that X and when you do man he becomes a sit and duck for this pass rush and he's going to be knocked down before he can even think about returning that one whoa here comes the Philly offense now as they make their way back onto the field they leave by a field goal as they go to work with a first and 10 open receiver is doson after the catch he gets that forward for a gain of nine second and a [Applause] yard operating from the gun here's hers little short pass here caught by his tight end and that's a first down it will be a gain of [Applause] eight a shotgun snap now to Herz short throw taken in by GD and they'll move this one down inside the 40 yd line from the 39 here's a first and 10 now Herz that's taken in left side by Smith and they'll get about four here as he is taken down they'll run straight ahead with Barkley and he's going to bring this one close to a first down looks like they'll Mark him just a yard short they'll look to pick this up third and a yard [Applause] and they'll throw here with hers and this is going to be incomplete that's great work to get in there and make things difficult defensively setting up a fourth down they'll run it and give it to the big guy and he's going to have an eagles first down as they find a way to keep the chains moving on fourth down a run with Barkley and he'll get forward for a couple it's second down to throw hers now he'll run it and he will take this into the end Vala that'll be intercepted picked off by pton stur nothing the defense loves more Greg than the opportunity to not only stop a team but turn him back around the other way a touchdown on the pick six yeah a defense just loves getting their hands on the ball when they can Mike but it is extra special when they're able to capitalize and take it all the way back for six these are the ones that rip they don't have one for this guy and he'll be brought down just beyond the 25 yd line out comes Miami and the offense to get started on their next Drive they'll try to get this a bit more respectable before the break it has not been their half to this point let's see what they do on this drive first down now and he's not going to be able to get away very good coverage on the perimeter it goes down as a loss of yards in motion it's Wadd on second down a and he's going to be swallowed up again backto back runs backto back losses now it is third [Applause] down a shotgun snap for two he's going to air this one out looking for Hill and he's got it and this will bring them all the way down to the 20 yd line a big play here in the big game that gains an even 60 yds they'll motion the tight end Smith on First and 10 here's Tua and that's going to wind up uncatchable out of the back of the end zone it's incomplete Hill brought in motion [Applause] here's third down and a few inches they'll let the fullback try to push the PT and the Dolphins are going to be set up with a first and goal they get the conversion on Third and inches twoa the pass rush gets home and he goes down going in the are the play calls Mike that offensive coordinators use to just get their quarterback and their passing game into some sort of Rhythm easy pitch and catch get the ball out of his hand see a completion these typically as the game goes on lead to bigger and bigger gains and he's going to be out of bounds just past the marker the ball was in the proper place for a new set of down they'll come up here first and 10 again it's two this is intercepted that's the linebacker Devin white and he's going to be brought down what a turn of events here he has given his guys first and 10 in the red zone so this is where an offensive play caller needs to come to the rescue of his quarterback because this defense they're on to you they've got two picks they're starting to pick up on your Tendencies they're shifting guys over to counter them now you've got to add some wrinkles now you've got to throw him a curveball and try to shift back some of that advantage to your side of the ball that's AJ Brown and the rest of the Eagles offense set to take over once more on the handoff this is Barkley he'll struggle to get back to the line of scrimmage maybe he gets a yard out of that one it's second energy you could see it when they took the field now this offense seems to be building on it because with that chunk play just a little bit of Rhythm that they can build off of they got a long way to either so in this case they'll take those three points nice job by the return team as he takes it across the 30 yd line the Eagles offense and the veteran AJ Brown make their way back out on first down it's Herz taking a shot downfield for Smith how often do we see teams kind of nurse these big leads Mike especially as the game unfolds they turn to the ground game they try to slow everything down well not this offense they refuse to take their foot off the gas they're still mining for explosive plays and frankly with the way today's gone I don't blame them third and short and Herz will digit lead do they come out and play conservative here in the second half well it took exactly one play to get our answer they continue to get chunk plays like this this thing could get out of reach fast they send the tight end in motion they'll run the counter with Barkley and that'll be a pick up of three second and [Applause] seven once again it's Barkley and that one is closed down in the back field what a defensive play knifing in dropping him for the loss on third down here's Herz that one caught by Smith and they are in great shape he's taken down inside the [Applause] 10 a shotgun the 30 yd line now Tua and and the Miami offense head out for their next possession and this defense has really had their way so far intercepting him twice forced into a number of bad throws and generally the D has just made it tough to operate all game long on First and 10 here's Tua that's out to the flat and it's complete and he's not going to get too far tackled after a gain of just a [Applause] yard here's second and [Applause] nine from the gun here's Tua he finds his tight end that's Smite and he's going to be brought down up past the [Applause] 45 now a first down throw for twoa that's taken in by a and they'll get about four here as he is taken [Applause] down to the air again tungo by L this throw right side is caught by Hill and the tackle is going to be made down at the 40 yd [Applause] line Tua to throw again he'll get this over the middle to Smith after the catch he gets that forward for a gain of nine throwing again it's two him and they'll get him down after a game of five but that is enough for a first [Applause] down a run up the Middle with Anan he'll be bogged down short pick up to the [Applause] 25 once again it's aan and he will not be able to get free picking up only a yard now it's third down hill brought in [Applause] motion throwing on third down tungo byoa to the left side in the hands of Hill and he can't get away they rally to the football on defense and bring him down for no game Jason Sanders on to try the field goal this will be a 41 yd attempt he is two for two that kick is good and the Dolphins are able to put up three and cut into the lead so anytime an offense comes off the field after settling for three you always have to take the good with the bad in order to get down there in field goal range you had to do something positive to move the ball but at the same time how are we going to be able to finish these drives and convert for six the next time we get down there and a nice run there he'll be stopped just shy of a first down a pickup of [Applause] nine now jayen Herz on second down now he'll run I love this call Mike second down and short one of the best Downs in football to take a shot give credit to the defense they were ready for it but a nice job by the quarterback realizing there's nothing downfield take off turn into a runner pick up the first down and they will finally track him down inside the 40 yd line they get 21 on that one first down Philadelphia and this is how you just keep wearing down a defense you find yourself with a pretty big lead now can they just lean on this run game the rest of the way and close this game out with a win he'll stay on the ground with Barkley and that's the way you want run it on first down a gain of seven on second down barley with good blocking leading the way he's got the first down inside the [Applause] [Music] [Applause] 25 operating from the gun here's hers over the middle to his tight end G and he'll get about eight on that one most of it coming after the catch it's second down here's Barkley and the Eagles are going to have a first and goal coming up they try to finish off this drive with six points here's Barkley and he'll go down back at the four every team makes an emphasis on winning first down but as a defense when you're able to take them back for a loss second and long you can really become more of a pass Centric defense and really tips the scales into your favor and he's going the wrong way dropped back at the seven so can the defense come up with the early stop here on Third and [Applause] [Music] goal from the shotgun it's Herz to the end zone there but it is incomplete on fourth down here comes Jake Elliot for the Philadelphia field goal this about as short as you can get he is two for two that kick is good and the Eagles will add to their lead here in the fourth quarter yeah he does a nice job handling that kick there but I think offensively you come back to the sideline and you're thinking we have to find a way to finish these drives I mean to be in first and goal and settle for three that can be very deflating for an offense settling for too many field goals two and now on first down that's taken in left side by Smith and he's going to be brought down up past the [Applause] 45 on first down here's tungo by low with a throw that is caught right side by Beckham outbreaking routes Mike especially outside of the numbers everything is about the timing if you're late with the throw you're going to be watching that defensive back take that thing the other way for six he's going to be out of bounds but he's got the first down a pickup of [Music] eight again it's cha this offensive line just has no answers right now it's another [Applause] sack out of the gun tungo Vala and he finds Tyreek and they're going to move this ball inside the 25 yd line six catches for him in the ball game now and this one's good for a first [Applause] [Music] down a shotgun snap for twoa that's complete he's got obj and they'll get about four here as he is taken down down hill brought in motion they'll fake the hand off now twoa that's to the end zone but they can't connect it's incomplete first and goal he's out of Bounds at the8 yd line 10 yds on the pickup and that's good for a first down nice pickup here to the back and what really stands out about this drive is the ability of the quarterback to really spread the ball around to multiple targets it puts so much pressure on the defense deciding who do they want to account for because no matter who they try to take away quarterback's doing a nice job of find the open n will find moard out of the back field a very nice open field tackle there he could not get free and gains [Applause] nothing and the final throw of the game winds up incomplete and that will do it this one comes to an end so it's a win here for the Eagles and right away you can point to the turnover Bal always he tells the story so often it did hear again today their offense didn't turn it over at all they finished on the plus side with takeaways as a result they're going to come away with the victory so this performance the cherry on top the tour to force for this entire day many felt this was the best team
