Kidnapped baby Halo Branton found at New York electric plant dies at hospital; no arrests announced

tragedy struck after an 11-month-old baby initially kidnapped in Upstate New York and later discovered alive in a shed on a vast electrical plant campus has sadly passed away at the hospital as announced by law enforcement the police department activated an amber alert for the baby Halo Brandon around 10:00 a.m. on Sunday revealing that the 23-year-old girl was last seen at 12th Street in Campbell Avenue at approximately 9:15 p.m. on Saturday the baby reported missing from a home in the Bellview neighborhood at around 11:00 p.m. Saturday was described as a black child with black hair hazel eyes and height exceeding 2' 8 in following a search sources informed the Albany Times Union that the baby was found in a shed on the extensive General Electric campus Fox News reported the department later cancelled the ambr alert confirming that Branton was found safe and in good health however the tragic turn of events unfolded when the baby was rushed to the hospital and pronounced deceased the incident initially treated as a missing person's case has now transitioned into a criminal investigation as of Sunday evening no arrest had been made but investigators were actively interviewing multiple individuals in connection to the case
