[Applause] [Music] go she really [Music] all [Music] excited been talking about it this week that that that you just did opening happens and then everybody go I heard a song called The Country Wasn't Cool on a record by Barbara Mand remember they play the opening World CR go bananas for a kid like me and for a kid like these guys that's a b and it fights you and you spend the rest of your life chasing that feeling and you just gave it to [Applause] us when I was 12 called 16 Avenue by Lacy J do and in that song she says God bless the boys who make the noise noise on 16th Avenue and she talks about things like a million dooll spirit in an old Flat Top guitar and they drive to town with all they own in $100 car and it was like this magical land to me and I asked my mom where is 16th Avenue she said it's in Nashville Tennessee and I said that's where I'm going to live and that's what I'm going to do some write Psalms on 16th Avenue y'all I don't write Psalms on 16th Avenue I write songs on 17 this song was our first song in country radio and it was also a challenge because it's hard to spell it's hard to pronounce and no one's ever been to J Georgia we decided we were going to give it him so there's a chance you heard this song the [Applause] 2018 the theck Dre the [Music] home's [Applause] [Music] theas to the breakups that didn't break us the break down wrong turn to take you to a little inck botom got's going the best the worst they [Music] [Applause] we all got number we don't want to drun the good friend we seen in a while and slow dance in these FRS and a chance put down the root to the break break us break down on turn atten to a little bar and the line give a song from man s man H Rock B SL you got them going R thinking best wor Kind of Night [Music] I've told yall before that we weren't going to ride a song on this day and I've told you all kinds of the different details of the story but we really had figured since we each had such a crap day why father because a couple of facts remained in place none of us had a record deal we were still the kids that were knocking on doors and saying would you listen to my records would you listen to a song I wrote Would you let me write with your writers can I play in your Mexican joint in the we start complain that whole morning because of all the things that were terribly wrong and that's what the worst day kind of night had turned into and it started to rhyme so we did write the song and I joked about putting the hard to spell word in the title so we did what what difference does it make it's not like we wrote a hit or one of us has a record de and then in my mid-30s I get a record deal explain to this since I was 19 and then I said can I use my band on the record and they said yeah so the people that you're listening to on the vinyl that's the people you're looking at on the stage chances the S chances just kept lining up and then I got a deal they were like oh that's never going to work she's a brunette she's short squatty all mouth no body she covered up tattoos and she looks like she sister [Applause] you please sing with [Applause] me break us break wel in you got nothing you just singing along with your dream looking your way the best the worst [Music] day hands to break oh I [Music] did got [Applause]
