[Music] Seattle chocolate company is actually um 100% carbon neutral what is unique to us is if we see something that can be made better um whether it's our product whether it's chocolate whether our processes or be it our Factory we do it Coco um is actually very very vulnerable to climate change um if you have read the news if you're seen it right now chocolate there's a crisis in the Coco industry because of climate issues um whether it's drought or exive rainfall the output actually is extremely low right now um it's very important that that we do everything we can to make sure that chocolate is with us forever Seattle chocolate takes great care to ethically Source their Chief ingredient and bring it to us in creative and everchanging ways and that's probably what most people think about when they think about Seattle chocolate but behind the scenes they're also a Powerhouse of environmental initiatives with psse 100% of their natural gas comes from a renewable resource uh Washington landfills over in Eastern Washington and they're matching their electricity with wind and solar energy it's these kinds of extra and measurable steps that they take that really make them a great place to work and help make our communities a better place to live switching to the renewable sources was a no-brainer and pound energy provided us um with a very very seamless process um so we're happy with that [Music]
