DRAFTKINGS & FANDUEL NFL WEEK 1 TNF CORE PICKS! (BAL VS KC)

on everybody welcome back to the channel we are looking at the week one Thursday night football match up between the Baltimore Ravens and the Kansas City Chiefs for DraftKings and FanDuel you know got big contest kick off the NFL season so so happy NFL is back I also back on this channel have videos throughout the NFL season took MLB season off from YouTube but wanted to be back for NFL we'll be back for NBA once that comes um once that starts in a few months as well but let's start by looking at this slate as always if you want to check out um Twitter it is at the DFS process you can check out the site if you want the full picks it's DFS press.net I'll put the link in the description um if you're new to the channel been posting and providing picks for fantasy sports while prize picks too but been doing it for five six years now actually more than that like seven eight years now so let's go with this slate uh look at some of these picks and look at some of the players that make sense so 46 1 12 point total for this one uh in Arrowhead Stadium you have two of the best teams in the AFC facing off yeah have some questionable pieces here mostly the only one that's really in doubt is um the new acquisition for them Hollywood Maris Brown U coming over to the ra to the Chiefs and he's probably not going to play in this one he's doubtful unlikely to suit up so with the um Chiefs making a big splash by bringing him over in the off season and then drafting Xavier worthy it seems like um they finally got got Patrick mahom some really good receivers this year they also not that Juju is anything special maybe he's a good four number four receiver backup three um but he's back as well and then they kind of just um they've kind of sared up some of that those positions um this off seon and we're still waiting on the suspension uh which might come but it's probably not going to come in the first few weeks of the year we'll see until after all of his proceedings are done with Rashid rice uh but he's still going to be able to play until NFL takes him sort of action with him um and then on the Raven side they made a big splash by bringing in Derek Henry Shore up that running back spot they're still got Mark Andrews missed a bunch of the end of the last season with his accident but uh he has a questionable tag but I should be able to go he participated in Friday's practice so and he is really cheap on draftking set only 62 $6,400 in the flex position so looking at just some of the depth charts here obviously quarterbacks you don't have to worry about them both have stud options um running back you have Edwards Air has a q tag Peko is going to do much of the work Edwards Air and some third down work passing down situations Henry is going to do much of the you know first second down goal line work short yardage work and then you got probably Justice Hill is going to be the pass catching back receivers here I think worthy looks really good without Hollywood Brown um he's pretty affordable as well 58 in the flex and then on the Ravens side you know agor is a guy that can get you some touchdowns for cheap 3,400 bucks he had five touchdowns last year and then tight end with Andrews being back most likely definitely a great Target and then likely filled in really well for Mark Andrews last season I think he makes sense for a cheap option um on this slate and then you have both kickers are really good both teams have great confidence in them and will let them kick you know long field goals 50 60 plus yarders easily without hesitation so looking at possible builds here on DraftKings I think you want to go a little cheaper out your captain spot if you can I mean you don't need to but if just to fit in some of these Superstars try to get both quarterbacks in there so if I put in a guy like Xavier worthy here it only takes up $8,700 in my captain spot throw in both quarterbacks Lamar Jackson Patrick Mahomes don't nothing needs to be said about them in a in a single game you want to Target them if you can it should be pretty high somewhat high scoring 46 and a half total um and these two teams just faced off in the playoffs as well in the championship game uh we still have a 65 for the last three spots here throw in Mark Andrews he's only 64 you can throw in um a Ri Rice now you have 5,500 bucks throw in baitman if you want to do a 33 stack and you want to go balanced go with one of the kickers save some money keep some money on the table because most people will probably throw in baitman throw in Tucker you have a little bit of a more unique lineup and then you want to make it even more unique throw in buer and save 900 bucks on the table and you know in Showdown slates are always just trying to be a little different cuz you're going to have so many of the same lineups be duplicated uh so anything that you can do to make your lineup Stand Out is always a good idea um you can throw an agore if you wanted to and upgrade from rice to Travis Kelce if you wanted to I mean Kelce had a pretty average year maybe below average for his standards you know nothing really special he had one insane game against the the Chargers last year a couple of 20o games and most of the time he was in the teens um you know end of the year and the playoff game was really well against the Ravens but another year older and the Chiefs do have some good receivers this year um that I think like worthy is probably my favorite option um so you I don't hate going with Kelce but I don't know if you need him in this one but go with both tight ends if you wanted to that is fine and then you have Derrik Henry who we'll see if Lamar Jackson takes away some of his close yardage touchdowns U but I still think he's going to get his work you know he can always break off a big one the chief's defense um is pretty good against the pass so if you want to Target them against the rush a guy like derck Henry makes some sense um but then you know Pacho in this spot look at the matchups for him we both know these team both defenses are solid uh Ravens defense no slouch uh but Peko they were giving him some opportunities to catch passes as well so if we look at Edwards Air see his questionable tag he's probably going to play it's just an illness still got it more you know handful of days to get better before that uh but in this this one I'm just looking at targeting some of the receivers not that I hate the running backs but I think receivers in this spot you also have Z flowers your team touch on him want to throw Z flowers in there um do that throw um buer but terms of the core pieces I think it's going to be Xavier worthy Lamar Jackson Patrick Mahomes will try to do a different approach ad Captain you want to throw in maybe Mark Andrews that Captain get him at 96 this is really cheap for his upside that he gives you you know multiple touchdown upside for him Xavier worthy you know he'll not in love with him probably like the kicker better than going with the backup running back um agore I think he's fine at 34 not that you absolutely need him and then likely at 26 is another cheap option you could consider know they have Noah a grave sometimes we'll catch passes give you some upside uh but those two for cheap still would like to get to both quarterbacks if I could I mean Mahomes is only 800 more than Kelsey obviously you want to Target momes um if you want going to be crazy a little bit more different throwing Kelsey instead but you know Mahomes is going have more fantasy points than Kelce majority of the time 90 times out of 100 um now we have $6,400 left for the last couple spots so this one want to throw in AR rice you have 52 throwing baitman another one that looks solid it's balanced you have both quarterbacks Target them with a couple weapons um so my four core pieces on DraftKings would be be Xavier worthy wherever you put him in the captain or in the flex I want to get to Mark Andrews just cuz he's so cheap $6,400 and then both quarterbacks in this type of potential shoot at game you want to Target and he still have 65 left 6550 easy to fit in last couple spots um on FanDuel it's pretty similar of a build here U try to get to both quarterbacks if you can Worthy is cheap on fandu as well at $88,500 Henry might be tough to get to at4 145 K might be tough to get to especially if you're trying to get to both quarterbacks at 14 and then other guys that you could look to trying to fit in here are rice a 10K flat both kickers are 9k that makes sense throwing a kicker here you have 8K left throwing baitman throwing you probably not looking at the defense in this one probably not looking at Hill I like baitman more than Hill and I like baitman more than likely based on the pricing and then if you're looking really cheap 65 I think nowor is the only guy that really sticks out with any sort of upside but these would be the three guys I Look to Target over on FanDuel and that is pretty much it for me just wanted to give you guys a quick rundown of what I'm thinking for this slate I will have the Sunday Full Slate video out as well Eagles play
