to go get Martin zubedi this guy must be the absolute perfect fit for the slot system if Arna slot has insisted we need to go get this guy at Zubimendi is the perfect fit for Arne Slot's Liverpool all cost continue to pressure him to come to Liverpool then this guy must be the absolute 100 out of 100 100% fit for the slot system um because I know a lot of these things are data driven analytics driven and zubba meni must be the guy he must be the guy so where are Zubimendi speaks on Liverpool transfer these rumors coming from well let's unpack this a little bit first and foremost zuba meni came out yesterday and finally talked about the broken down deal with Liverpool he said laal for me is my life I think I have spent my half of my life there a lot of what I am is part of the real it is my life no no my friends are clear that whatever I decide will be the best there is no pressure whatsoever so he dispelled the rumors that his friends his family were pressuring him to stay and really it just he made it clear that it was down to him it was his decision to stay because this club means so much to him so we can all respect that obviously as Liverpool fans we can respect that we know step Gerard did that when uh the billionaires at Chelsea Came Calling he was you know I think somewhat similar where maybe he was close to going uh and then at the last minute decided to stay we're all glad he did of course of course we're glad um and so you know we have a similar situation here um where Martin zendi loves his Boyhood club and wants to stay there and we can understand that but at the same time Liverpool are so much bigger and you know if he has aspirations to win and to be the best that he can be uh there Zubimendi to Liverpool back on rumors there might be a case to be made that can still come so first and foremost we've got uh some sources of these rumors and um and I'll just kind of share first and foremost uh what has been said so I think this is all speculation uh from the interview but David Ornstein um spoke on Liverpool's David Ornstein on Zubimendi and Van Dijk failed attempt to sign zubba meni uh and he said you know zubba meny could be like van dijk's deal when they failed to sign him and waited till January we all know how that worked out it worked out very well for Liverpool um there were a lot of rumors that summer before they we signed Van Dyke and then come winter time they just made it happen um Liverpool don't panic when they fail to sign their targets and sign Alternatives uh we know that's true and I for one am What David Lynch said about Zubimendi to Liverpool glad that that's true because I think it means uh smart business uh the other source of these rumors is David Lynch uh spoke uh y yesterday as well um and said that those three games from grenberg have not stopped Liverpool from scouring the holding Midfield Market the DM market and they will no doubt have noted that zubedi has yet to pen any extension to his deal at real soad which is very interesting to me so the rumors were in the summer before the transfer window closed that you know real soad came to zubba meni and said hey you're underpaid we know that we're going to give you a new contract and we're going to pay you what you're worth we're going to pay you you know hey they couldn't match what Liverpool were offering Liverpool offered to basically triple his current salary and soad do said well we can't give you that but we're going to give you more than what you've got now well that still hasn't happened there still isn't an extension signed for zubba meni at his club and so you just have to wonder if that continues on uh into you know if we get to November if we get to December and still no extension you know this this this thing could be this thing could heat up again this thing could heat up again and and zubba meni you know maybe he's had six more months to think about it maybe his family has had six month six more months to think about you know you know maybe it wouldn't be so bad to move to Liverpool now is this realistic for me I give it about a 20% chance of actually being true or you know actually happening in the winter transfer I just feel like when you when a player like that has rejected Liverpool because I don't think Virgil Van djk rejected Liverpool I don't think he was at Southampton staying no this is my club I'm staying here I want to be loyal to Southampton you know players say that and they they don't mean it because they don't want to upset the the fan base um zubba mendi meant it uh and that was you know those two situations are very very different I think Virgil Van dijke wanted to come to Liverpool uh because he had aspirations to be the best and he knew he could be the best so I don't think it's similar with zubba meni um I think he actually really really loves his Boyhood Club I think he wants to stay there um and honestly like my gut Will Zubimendi to Liverpool actually happen? reaction is like if he's on the fence I question his mental fortitude to come you look at a zubba meni versus a kza kza is absolutely floored thrilled to be a Liverpool player that's what you want at your Club you want someone who loves being there who plays for the badge uh and I just I don't know if zubba men's the guy uh but at the same time I will end with this clearly if if the rumors are true that they are still pursuing zubba meni then he's got to be the guy he's got to be the perfect player for this system because you know if slot and Hughes have both said like there's no one else that fits the profile like Martin zendi we have to hold out and wait for him then hey go get him I'll Trust the process there um so at the same time you know we've got Ryan grenberg he's holding it down well um I'm not getting carried away with grenberg I think he's done fantastic I think he's been Liverpool's best player and we haven't really played a decent Midfield yet um you know we all thought Manchester United at Old Trafford would be a good test I actually don't think it was so uh still thrilled that Grabber has had a great start to the season uh I want to see a real test I want
