at number two I have a player that will likely go down as one of the best labero ever in the college game that's Nebraska's Lexi Rodriguez she's earned all- America honors in each of her three seasons and already two big 10 defensive player of the year honors you might look at that 3.6 dig per number from last season and say oh she should be racking up more but that's because offenses literally changeed their game plan around her because she's that good Rodriguez can take up half the court and get to literally anything because she's one of the most fundamentally sound labero she's always stopped on contact and she digs so well outside of her body Rodriguez is also one of the best passers in the nation last year she passed 66% in system to put that into perspective 60% is usually the goal but rarely achieved at the college level Rodriguez is also one of the most important Nebraska players because of leadership players look to her in big or stressful moments and she always delivers Lexi is one of my favorite players in the country to watch and I cannot wait to see what she does in her senior year
