welcome to Lexington where the sun shines bright literally and figuratively on their Old Kentucky Home and the Big Blue Nation ready to get behind these wild cats in this one there's just something about the night cap after a day of wall toall football it just seems this is when chaos ensues as we'll see a squad from the Sun Bel the southern Mississippi golden eagles taking on a team from the SEC the Kentucky Wilds for EA Sports college football Reavis with you alongside David poock and Jesse Palmer time to get this game [Applause] started and the golden eagles will kick it away to start us off on the move from inside is five just never had a chance to shake loose and he'll be brought down at the 24 so kuy's offense takes the field to start this game off and not only is this guy the energy and the engine of the offense there's a certain Charisma that he has that sort of elevates everyone around him he's got a Moxy about him ree it just seems like when he's in the Huddle he's got sets of eyeballs looking at him and believing in him to lead this offense down the field towards scoring points this guy is a leader in every sense of the word didn't get much done on that first play of the drive it's second and 11 dropping back it's Vander grip gets it out quickly and a good job in coverage there as they stop it a few this is a very tough slot receiver to cover if you're a linebacker because of how quick and how Shifty he is you never seem to know which way he's going and he always seems to create an open space for his QB so already a challenge on this opening drive it's third and nine fires to the wide out he's got an open man and he can't hold on to the ball at the end of this big game defense just cradling that fumble and securing it well it's a nice job by him making the catch but guys you got to secure the ball and put it away the play's not over and give the defender credit for knocking it loose and the defense jumps on the offense set for a first down play they'll ride the running back back and leave it with him and there were no creases or crevices to run through and they shove him out of bounds this running back just doesn't go down easily it's just difficult for defenses to get him on the ground not overly huge but if I'm an offensive coordinator I'm going to continue to find ways to feature him and just you know what let his talent do the rest halfway there on first down it's second and five now they'll run the draw he's dropped behind the line of scage that'll be a loss of three listen I know there are a lot of DBS out there that all they want to do is get interceptions and dance in the end zone this dude likes to put his face in the fan get close to the line of scrimmage and tackle and on the opening drive that he's out there he gets a huge tackle for loss early that is a statement play on Third and long try to convert through the air had to throw it before he wanted and they fail to hook up on third down qu talk about it all the time they love the clean pocket where they can step up throw the football that is not what they had nice job by the defense beating the offensive line disrupting the timing and getting a nice clean hit on the quarterback the golden eagles decide to PT it away fair catch called for and made Kentucky has it back in the Big Blue offense takes the field last time they had it they put it on on the deck the football was not riveted to their rib cage Jesse need five points of pressure moving forward no doubt I'll tell you they knew coming into this game that turnovers were going to be critical they might give themselves a mulligan for that one David but that can't keep happening yeah but don't change who you are and what you are don't get gunshot because of mistakes I think that usually turns into more mistakes so keep doing you keep being aggressive good spot after that seveny pickup on first down it's second and three hand off from the gun stopped him at the 41 but that's a big pick up of 15 with the weapons this offense has you knew it was just a matter of time in the Run game before someone was going to break along one they' just been running into a wall they just couldn't seem to find their creases and get enough movement up front but they finally got it there picking up the first let's see what happens next on run it's trer and maybe he'll get back to the line of scrimmage but no more than that how about the defender being a heat seeking missile he was on radar lock he found the football and flew down with some bad intentions got stuffed on first down it's second and 10 they'll move the running back to try to force the defense to adjust quickly to the the tight end they make the stop after the catch and still some work to do to pick up that first down you know David this is really what game managing is nice pick up on second down to help them on the next play yeah I think people look at that negative sometimes finding a quarterback that's a game manager no use your brain set up good situations I'm I'm way more successful when I can keep those sticks at a more manageable situation and I'm not as predictable on a third down he's got enough to move change and they'll spot it at the 47 it's tough on the defense there third down you're in zone coverage everybody's watching the quarterback and you're trying to make a break on the ball but he just got it out of his hands too quickly and the throw was too accurate really nothing you can do there and it's now a fresh set of downs out of the gun the running back has it and I think they'll give him two on that one second and eight coming up I'll tell you this is a running back who's very very dangerous and the defense did a good job getting him down there but they got to do a great job gang tackling because this is a guy that can break tackles and turn those types of plays into home runs after picking up a couple it's second and eight to the air it's Vander Griff throws to the wide out complete downfield he will step out of bounds but not before the big pick up and a Down offense and there was no question in that scenario that's where the quarterback was going he knew he had his receiver in a matchup that he liked running a route where he would find himself opening nice job between those two leaves it with the back a seven yd pickup it'll be second and three the counter play is a great play to mix in because defensively you're not looking for the counter you're looking to attack attack attack all of a sudden two guys pull across the formation now you got to change your direction really quickly and it keeps you off balance and really keeps you on your heels the run from the shotgun he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple well there was just nowhere to go for the runner on that last play just way too much penetration up front and as a result they lose yardage already in Chip Shot field goal range at the 21 but this third and short they're still thinking touchdown from the gun wants to pass coming after it he'll pull it down and run how about that nice run from this junior quarterback defense in that situation just has to know to stay in their Lanes you know it's hard enough to get this guy down on the ground but you just can't let him Escape you got to build the fence you got to build the cage keep him in the pocket and that time he was just able to athleticism to get outside and go pick up the first down from the Red Zone it's TR not much working there it'll be second and nine they're strong and they're SC defensive tackles they're strong there's such big jokers in the Middle where they just lock out those offensive linemen and running backs listen they don't have much of a chance when you got that 300 plus pound guy grabbing you around the shoulder pad you tend to go the ground pretty quickly the give to the tail back relying on that running game inside the Red Zone he picked up three to the 11 boy they'd love to move the sticks here and take a shot at it on first and goal on third down going up top fires to the end zone and he's got it touchdown Kentucky and what did I start for this offense the throw game getting working getting the touchdown pass this quarterback getting a little bit of confidence this passing game getting in a rhythm nice start for this offense [Music] they'll try to add another to their lead and the extra point makes it seven nothing precise Relentless execution on that 13pl scoring drive and they finish it with an 11 yd touchdown D the kickoff team out there set to boot it away he'll bring it back from inside to five and the returner runs out of real estate as he goes down Southern Mississippi ready to send that offense back onto the field boy three and out last time David they'd like to be more productive this time around yeah in the last Drive nothing really clicked no rhythm got off the field really really quickly they need to put something together here yeah David bad execution on that last drive so they got to take a collective breath and start playing like a unit on this drive didn't get much on first down it's second and N they'll try the Run he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three and that's what makes this defense so difficult to run against they've got guys up front that just push offensive linemen backwards they basically push the blockers right into the lap of that running this defense has them backed up now one more stop and they can get off the field on Third and long looking down field it's raker using the back as a receiver on the screen oh it's out once that ball was loose offense didn't have a chance Defenders everywhere it's a turnover that looks like a really easy thing to do oh the ball's just on the ground jump on it that's an odd shaped ball that bounces all kind of crazy ways great job by the defense covering that thing up [Music] Kentucky sends the offense back out onto the field this is like a gift to have starting field position like this Jesse you're absolutely right it's ideal and David they practice this Sudden Change situations you have got to be able to pay this off now if on offense yeah and you want to pay it off you practice it but set up in a go to go situation this is Good As It Gets for this offense to succeed defense rose up deep in its own end on that last play now a second and long coming he's looking to throw now improvising and he avoids the hit and slides after the and I really like the decision by the quarterback there listen it's early in the Downs like Don't Force It don't don't make a turnover he tucks it get what you can get and Live to play the next down I I like that execution by the QB this defense was put in a difficult spot but they've made it tough and now the offense faces third and goal he caught it and he will score touchdown wild cats a quick strike just as we expected yeah and quick strikes are easy when you got such great field position obviously when the offense starts in such a good spot puts the defense in a bad position and the offense takes advantage on to attempt the try the kick is up and good and put one more on the lead quick strike offense on that three playay scoring drive and they close the deal with the seven Y for the score about to kick it off after punching it in for the [Applause] touchdown let's see if he can make a play on the return he was looking for some Running Room but not much to be found as he stopped at the 18 Southern Mississippi has it back and the golden eagle offense headed to the field to say this has been a slow start is a bit of an understatement and they really need to get it going here Jesse that's right the opponent they're firing on all cylinders right out of the gate offensively for this unit they've been slow and struggling they need an explosive play to wake themselves up yeah and it's just the first quarter so it's not the end of the world you've seen slow starts but you got to continue to pick and pick and pick until you find that play or or that scheme that you can use against this defense going up top on first down wide open down field makes the stop at the 49 but not before he gets territory gets 15 and a first down this receiver is so dangerous out in space and it's a nice job by the QB getting him the ball early on the curl route you see once he has it he's got some wiggle he's got some shake makes some Defenders Miss and gets up the field out of the gun the inside hand off looking for a crease and the defense holds firm no pick up at all on that play boy there wasn't much room to wiggle for that running back there none at all great job by the defense getting in the back field quickly closing up all the holes Nowhere to Run they got nothing on the last play it's second and 10 on the ground it's Clark that's what you expect from a senior don't give them any extra yards great tackle there well man there's some big hitting going on in the trenches right now this defense they take a lot of pride in stopping the Run let's keep our eye on them throughout the course of the game and see if they can contain this running attack now facing a third and long to the air it's raker unloads to the wide out all kinds of room to throw that one in there and he was loose and in the open field and on his way a tremendous pick up on that [Applause] one and the golden eagles have it with a first and [Applause] 10 from the shotgun they'll run it and he's almost to that first down marker there saying he's a little bit short they might want to bring out the sticks and measure but it looks as if he'll be just of the first operating in the Red Zone here on second [Applause] down they'll leave it with him he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three yeah I think the running back kind of went Rog on that last running play I'm not sure it was designed to go that direction he tried to make it happen on his own fortunately ended up losing yards they've been able to control the ball this is the seventh play of the drive it's third and three they'll try to pick up the first through the air couldn't find a man and just had to throw it away to avoid a negative play Third and short in college football today you see so much more pass than you used to the offense stays aggressive and I think they stay aggressive because they know they're in field goal range they got that three in their back pocket they'll try to put three on the board field goal unit comes on and he'll try this one from the left pass and 33 ydd away it's good so after putting three on the board the kickoff team is out there ready to boot it away he'll start the return inside his five nice job by the kickoff team everybody stayed in their lanes and they'll stop him at the 16 Kentucky has it back and the big blue offense the field pulls it fired complete you'll take this every time five yards on the first down play well the short passing game is a great goto for any offensive coordinator in the first quarter because it's reliable but it also allows you to see how the defense is going to react and play so this can certainly open things up later this offense has a second down play from the gun they'll try to impose their running game they make the stop but this running game moves to change as they get the first down and that is just an attitude run running it right up the middle right into the teeth of that defense they'll snap this one from the 32 it's first down Ed the play fake now to throw catch in the middle it's key they got him free for a big gerain down to the 43 now he might have the defense's head spinning a little bit now hit him with a big run now they hit him with a big pass man it's so hard to defend both you know that which coverage do I want to put do I want to put more people in the Box to stop the run when you've got this kind of balance on offense the defense can't be right power football with the Run nowhere to run on that one he loses four on the carry looks as if we have an injury on that last play and we'll take a break to check him out couldn't get him blocked on that last one now it's second and 14 they go to the ground they bring him down but a solid pick up to put them in position to pick up a first down so as a defensive guy they line up in a formation you know they're heavy on one side and then all of a sudden boom two guys pull they go the other direction so you can't really load up and play that that counter keeps you off balance as the defense and makes you really be honest they line up and it is a long way to the sticks from here trying to move the sticks on third down through the air and he dropped it just didn't look the thing all the way in good wide open big play opportunity hits him right between the numbers you got to make that play those are one of those where I I tap my helmet like dude that that was me was on me my bad give me another opportunity later on Kentucky sends out the pting unit he ought to be able to use his first punt to pin him deep wanted to make sure not to give them a chance for a return as it goes out of bounds Southern Mississippi ready to send that offense back onto the field to throw it's raker he finds a dead spot in the middle a little more space open up that Playbook even more as they pick up the first down out to the 30 playing the passing game there and I like the receiver gearing down in the zone did a nice job finding the soft spot on defense between the Defenders giving the quarterback an easy target to throw to to complete that throw as they get set to snap it just about to reach the end of the quarter quarterback on the keeper they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one we're through one and what a back and forth battle between these two quarterbacks as we look at the stats this could be a pivotal moment in this game as we open the second period and they try to find a way to answer he's looking for a man on second down and the pass is incomplete Jarred Loose by the hit Ball's at the 29 defense can taste getting off the field it's third and long from the gun wants to pass firing deep and that pass intercepted takes it the other way and they capitalized not only on the pick but the great return to give the offense tremendous field position that was not a great throw might even call it ungood tried to put some air under it and just made it too easy I don't think the quarterback had a lot of confidence in where he was going with that football re I mean that's a ball that needed to get there so much sooner you got to put a little bit more mustard on that throw and just lobbing the ball down the field like that I don't know look for an interception grabbed behind the line it's brown nice pitch and catch there and they'll have enough for the first down well we knew coming into this game this offense was going to try and get this receiver involved and get him involved early so here they are just finding an easy completion it's not a touchdown but they just want to get this guy lathered up and get him into a rhy from the 47 yd line on First and 10 he'll do it himself we'll give him a couple on that one second and eight coming up well the QB decided to keep it on that one and listen if you had his athleticism you'd want to keep it too almost every time they run these types of option plays but he's just going to have to do a good job of understanding when to hand it off when to pitch it and try to keep this defense on their heels and read his keys he's got a lot of talent just got to make sure he's making the right decisions moving forward that's Reed in round he is stopped behind the line of scrimmage they'll lose yards on that one well give the defense credit on that one because they knew coming into this one that they were going to try to get this receiver the ball in a variety of ways they were ready for the screen there and they create a negative play third down conversions are a huge stat and this one would be a doozy if they can pull it off with the catch it's key he's really close to that first down marker they stop him just a bit short they' hoped to be able to pick up enough after the catch but a good stop leaves them with a fourth and short really good job by the defense being physical understanding the situation in the game the ball's going to come out quick you know that go make the tackle Force the fourth down fourth down and the punt team sends it the other way Southern Mississippi has it back and the golden eagle offense headed to the field mistakes are going to happen as they did on that last Drive now how will they respond Jesse and this is the kind of guy who's going to take full accountability that was my bad that's on me I'm about to lead this offense now down the field and score some points dang pal I wish I would have played with you I didn't play with many quarterbacks that were just like yeah my bad hey guys I got this sorry about that it was more you should have ran a better route the golden eagles will hustle to the line looking to throw it's R maker that pressure got to him and he just had to Chuck it out of bounds probably the toughest call on the play sheet third and long Ball's at the 25 trying to make that Rush think on the draw play here he gets it oh so close to the first down marker but I think he's going to be a touch short and the golden eagles send out the punt unit this will be the second time they've had to kick it away they'll get down and put a stop to this return they'll mark it at the 32 Kentucky sends the off back out onto the field here's another opportunity Jesse to stretch out this lead after punting last time I think it goes back to your Playmakers reys I think it's finding the guys that have been working for you earlier on in this game and getting them the football and there's obviously no need to panic I mean think about it you got the lead you got the football you got to be smart with the football make your plays put a good drive together here halfway there on first down it's second and five off play action he uncs one deep and this is dropped incomplete pass he had a huge gain in his fingers and he couldn't hold on well you make big plays for your quarterback in the game you catch a touchdown pass he's going to look your way again often down field like they did right there but give the defense credit forcing an incompletion from the gun on third down nice defensive play to get a hand in there and knock it away well I know that one fell incomplete but what a day this guy has had thrown the football multiple touchdowns and he's done a really nice job with his decision making hasn't thrown any picks which has really helped keep this offense on schedu Kentucky will be forced to punt they'll look to P him deep here's the fair Catch and he'll make it close to the 20yd line Southern Mississippi ready to send that offense back onto the field they just didn't quite find the Rhythm on that last Drive Jesse they had to punt it I think they got to be more physical David I think up front they got to do a better job getting blocks and establishing this running game and how easy does football become if you're the more physical team if you can threaten the run and then then run play action it opens up the whole offense at your disposal didn't get much on first down it's second and [Applause] nine leaves it with the running back they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one well they're just trying to run the ball but that time there was absolutely nowhere for the running back to go and as a result that's a tackle for loss they line up with some serious work to do if they want to convert this one on third down he'll try to pick it up through the air got it set up on the outside they finally get him stopped but what a good job by that front wall to set up the screen and create some Lan for their running back hey man sometimes you get the perfect play call at the perfect time that time the defense blitzing offensive line allowed everybody to run up field and they slip in the running back screen and behind it there was nobody there to make a tackle and this offense generates a massive play going up top makes a catch down the right side and they are pushing the ball down the field a big pick up on that one and the tackle is finally made yeah and the quarterback knew exactly where he wanted to go to the football had time spins the ball deep nice job by this offense understanding what the defense is given him and create the explosive play the golden eagles want to move quickly [Applause] from the gun running back on the Move nowhere to run on that when he loses four on the carry well there's a statement by the defensive line first down play expecting run and they just dominated up front beat their one-on ones and force a tackle for a loss put themselves in a bit of a bind with that last one is second and 14 wants to throw it's raker fires to the wide out and it was worth the gamble but the long pass is incomplete he had him open there and I know this quarterback expects to make that throw it's a tough throw CU again you got a couple steps on a guy that's not wide open these DVS are so fast but that a what you do expect a guy like that that caliber to be able to play a little pitch and catch and make that happen they're bringing heat no more time to throw quarterback is sacked at the 35 great job up front on this pass rush defense in a dime Personnel grouping they've got six DBS on the field they're expecting pass so they're going to have to win with four guys and they're 41 they got the job done and here comes the field goal unit for the second time tonight he's going to reach for a long one a 52 yd attempt and it's right down the boulevard how nice is it as a head coach to have a kicker like this it makes these decisions on fourth down so much easier just trut him out there and let him stroke it through the uprights they were able to get a field goal on the board and now they'll kick it [Applause] away and here's the return he was hoping for something a little more Dynamic but they get him on the ground at the 20 Kentucky has it back and the big blue offense takes the field from the gun they'll try to impose their will brought down at the 31 after a pick up of 10 yard on that one this running back loves running into the teeth of the defense in between the tackles he keeps a low pad level and he's got some speed it's first and 10 from the [Applause] 31 he wants to throw missed his receiver there it's incomplete offenses should focus on their guys and making sure so and so guys get so and so touches and you know listen they're featuring this guy they're going to throw to him he's going to be the primary target a lot of times I can't be Reckless but I definitely have to find my way to get that guy the ball hand off from the shotgun pushes ahead for a couple they'll mark it at the 33 I like feeding my guy I like getting my running back touches feeding the ball so he can break some of those big runs but I'm also okay with these little ones set the tone stay balanced a third and long coming up here looking down field it's Vandergriff oh they really could use that catch there physical pass defense it brings up a fourth down offenses know and work on it all week third Downs third downs we got to be really really good this offense not good on this third down it could come back to bite him Kentucky sends out the pting [Applause] unit he'll call for the fair catch here Southern Mississippi has it back in the golden eagle headed to the field you want to talk about having a weapon to bail out a drive David that's why kickers are so important after that long field goal and listen important is a relative term we need to make longer passes and get better gains so we don't have to kick long field goals Palmer again on offense and they've got the weapons to do that David they just got to be able to dial those plays up guys have to be able to make them one onone to make life easier on this kicker who is so important to this team second and 10 he'll throw again caught in the back field it's Clark and just a short safe pass play they pick up a few listen nice completion short game now you get to third down third Down's more manageable but guess what if I don't get it on third down I still got that fourth down in my pocket nowadays analytics we're going for anyways they've made third down offense a key it'll be tested on Third and long from the 28 from the gun wants to pass fires to the middle and a missed opportunity on third down as the defense knocks it free and fourth down is coming up it's a nice job by the receiver working past the sticks looked like it was going to be a first down by the offense but how about the physical play knocking that ball loose and the golden eagles will try to pin them back with the punt not going to risk a return here he'll make the fair catch Kentucky sends the offense back out onto the field they've hit a bit of a low here and they need to get things cranked up with this possession Jesse just haven't had a rhythm these last couple of possessions but I'll tell you the best way to get back into one is to run the football establish yourselves up front the line of scrimmage and help keep these third Downs manager yeah and the best news is your defense at least forced a punt of their own so now you can go a good stop while this game is still close let's just go keep putting more points on the board and let's see less of the punter they'll ride the hot hand still on his feet at the 45 finally run out of bounds but he has this offense rolling with a first down another good run man he has been picking up yards in bunches today Jesse showing off all the skills and he's showing no signs of slowing down David this guy just gets better as the game goes on he is a beast it's first and 10 from the 38 ydd line going to run it it's tra really nice stop there from this senior leader and you want to run the football that's okay you'll take some of these but if they start to add up down the road obviously you might want to think about airing it out a little bit didn't get much on first down it's second and nine dropping back it's Vander gri got his man on the right across the 25 he's got room he's run out of bounds but a big play on that one and it'll be a first down this offense is clicking everything working together really well coordinator quarterback offensive line good Rhythm good flow defense is going to have to find something to kind of mess up this timing they got going on and the wild cats come to the line with a fresh set of downs looking for a crease to the left he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three maybe that stop shows this defense is tightening up especially in the Run game the offense frankly they've been able to do whatever they want to do they're just handed the ball off this guy's having success left and right no sir no Moss get it together got some work to do after that last play second and 13 heau it so close to that end zone he could almost taste it but it'll be first and goal for this offense great execution on the RPO and the receiver had some time to find the soft spot in the zone and make himself open for the quarterback and make it a much easier pass great job the Wildcat trying to pay off the threat on first and goal the give they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one this defense obviously knows they've got to be able to stop the run if they're going to win this football game and you wonder if they've been able to make some tweaks and adjustments to try and take this running back away can the D deny them on second and goal now the play fake and that defense gets to him and down he goes at the N it's a big time moment for the defense there creating a negative play getting a sack with the opponent right down on the goal line now that they backed him up a little bit a touchdown doesn't seem like it's just a gimme anymore third and goal coming up here back to throw it's Vandergriff he snares it in the end zone touchdown wilds and it's so underrated the the relationship between a QB and a wide receiver the timing the ability to know where he's going to be and be accurate with the football that's what leads to nice touchdowns Jesse well the chemistry between these two guys has to be great when you're throwing into the because coverage is going to be tight the throw might perfect but this is something these two guys have been repping in practice over and over and over and it's paying dividends now on game day he'll try to tack on one more and with the extra point they move on top by 15 so they put together a npl 75 yd drive and cap things off with a nyd touchdown pass the kickoff team out there and ready to [Applause] go and he hauls it in and everybody's on the edge of their seats just never had a chance to shake loose and he'll be brought down at the 24 Southern Mississippi ready to send that offense back onto the field he'll keep it himself plows through the defense and they'll wrestle him to the ground after a short gain yeah and it's a nice job by this defense understanding listen that QB is a threat and they're going to run all kinds of options and he's going to run the football they were dialed in and got that sucker to the ground on second down will they go back to the ground [Applause] game looking for a physical attack from the gun F that space and picked up six out to the 33 just a simple power play football be big Beal make it ath quarter game make him feel you keep him off balance after the last run would you just give it to him again on third down looking to throw for it caught behind the line it's Kei and he was fortunate not to lose yardage on that play able to wedge it back to the line of scrimmage well they were counting winning the one-on-one battle they got the completion but the yardage didn't work out yeah and a lot of times man that's what I do on short yardage situation third and short make my guy fall forward for a couple yards try to get the first down but it was a good tackle and the receiver got absolutely nowhere after the catch and the returner could find no daylight he goes down first down here with time for maybe one more play until the two-minute warning the give to the running back from the shotgun they stop him just short of the first down but it will be second and inches coming up less than a yard to go to pick up the first down looking for a man it's Vander gri zings it complete to the right he stopped almost immediately didn't get much but he didn't need much they've got the first down you know sometimes even a short gain like that can be used to set up something bigger later on no doubt Reese they can pump that and take a shot down the field and don't worry they're going to go back to that same play because they know this guy with the ball in his hands is dangerous he makes one guy Miss he can take it to the house and the physical play there forces the incompletion on first down after the misfire now on second down he's looking to throw complete to the left good pick up there as he gets the first down they'll him at the 4 this quarterback is having himself a day over 200 yard in the first half it was hard enough for Palmer to get over 200 in a game more or less in a first half Here Comes Kentucky after picking up that first down throws to the wide out got his Man Down field he works his way inside the 30 down to the 29 and picks up a first down and this has got to be so demoralizing for this defense right now having given up multiple first downs on this drive somebody on defense has to step up make a play and stop the bleed inside the 30 at the 29 it's a first down caught in the back field it's trainer and the defense coming with bad intentions they knock him down for a loss love the awareness by the defense here they're trying to get the running back the ball in space but the defense was expecting it they had guys in position they located the football and they went and game tackled they're about to run a dirty half dozen plays on this drive the offense waste no time getting the timeout call they line up for a second down play back to pass it's Vander gri and that's going to be incomplete a lot of contact on the play but no Flags it'll be third down hey man if you're going to force incompletions when the QB's thrown to the tight end you better be physical nice job with the hit forcing that incompletion seventh play of the drive coming up but a long way to go on third down from the gun wants to pass a strike down field touch down Kentucky and they take it in for six more points and that's his second receiving touchdown of the game my man is just finding Pay Dirt say what these are the kind of guys that you continue to feature throughout a game when he can do this kind of damage after he catches the football lining up to tack one more onto that lead and with the extra point the score is 28-6 76 yd on the drive for the touchdown and they top it off with a 31 yd toss for six so they got the touchdown now going to put it in the hands of their defense to finish off this half on the run from inside his own five he was hoping for something a little more Dynamic but they get him on the ground at the 20 Southern Mississippi has it back and the golden eagle offense headed to the field they'll throw it on first down boy they've been caught in a buzz oh he's so hard to get on the ground he's got room he's run out of bounds but not before turning in a big pick up and moving the sticks for a first down real smart play great job get the positive yards and then get your booty out of bounds open the drive with a chunk play out past the 40 and they are in business on first down back to pass it's raker right down the middle got him down field offense on the move a big play there gets it to the 30 here's a Timeout on the field tight game here late in the first half it'll be first and 10 from the 30 looking to move it through the air unloads to the wide out and it's incomplete if you're going to take a hit like that you might as well hang on to the ball well that's one the offense would love to have back that's a play they practice over and over and over they feel like they can run that play in their sleep not able to connect there and the incomp brings up a second down for this offense he's looking to throw fires to the middle it's caught a timeout is called as this offense tries to find a way to get more points on the board before the half running out of time here in the first half they're going to have to be efficient to put some points on the board before the break they'll throw it from the Red Zone good job to avoid the negative play and just get rid of that thing going to work on second down in the red zone is still some ground to cover to pick up that first down he's looking to throw get it out on the screen didn't have much room to run and not a whole lot of help short game there and still plenty of ground to cover for the first down offense calls a timeout here critically important to make sure they have the right play called and everyone on the same page here never a doubt and they'll Trot off to the locker room after the field goal to close the half at the end of the second quarter that means it's time to join Kevin in our halim update gentlemen what a pleasure it's been to watch these two teams thus far there in Lexington and there is no better place to start this halftime than by reviewing how this wide out has been a Onan Wrecking Crew the kid's been everywhere and I love how he's willing to go across the middle but that he also has the Jets to burn these DB's on the Deep ball if this defense wants to actually come back in this one they better hide his cleats and with that let's send it back to the guys at Old Commonwealth Stadium and quer field kickoff and kickoff return teams on the field and we are just about ready to go in the second half and he takes this from inside the five good job by the coverage unit to put a stop to that return Southern Mississippi ready to send that offense back on the field back to throw it's Ro maker excellent coverage and good use of the hands to knock it away yeah and a really good job by the defender understanding the ball's coming I got to break on it and go and not try to intercept it and make a bad play he swats it down to make sure that's an incompletion let's see what they've got on second down after the incompletion back to the passing game complete to the right and he gets it to the 45 yd line and that'll be a first down well how about the offense setting that play up we've seen earlier in the game a couple shorter throws they're just trying to suck those safeties closer to the line of scrimmage anticipating that they would get an opportunity to take a shot they called the perfect play at the perfect time right there they'll put the tight end in motion from the gun the ground game he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple they trying to run the ball on first down guys but just nothing doing up front their offensive line got blown up on that play there was nowhere for that guy to go after losing a couple on that last play here's second and 12 he's looking to throw grabbed in the back field Clark they get him down after he makes a catch well he made the grab but the doors closed quickly after that and I like this I want to find my running back but man he's got to do a little more damage after the catch I need I need a stiff arm I need a spin move I need something where he can make that guy Miss and pick up a bunch of yards and maybe get a big play out of on Third and long he's going to have to throw for it looking deep and that'll be incomplete they certainly weren't afraid to take a shot there and now it's fourth down well after struggling so much in the first half you thought they would have made some adjustments here at halftime to see if they can open up this passing game but early on in the second half they're just not really able to get that done incompletion on third down and your own end you're expecting them to punt a fairly short distance here toward the sidelines not his best work Kentucky has it back in the Big Blue defense takes the field how about that last drive just carved him up in the air David yeah and how about that quarterback you gave him the ball and he delivered the goods great job taking apart the defense Jesse on that last drive he really did David I mean that was a master class and just reading coverage and being accurate a negative play to open the Drive let's see what they've got on second and 14 looking to pass it's Vander grip finds a tight end couple of guys there to get him on the ground and that's why QBs love their tight ends so much right especially when they're athletic because they make short throws turn into long games because of his ability after the catch it's so unique and special he is dominant in this offense third and short from the 44 and we might know if they plan to go for it on fourth down by what they call here trying to pick it up on the ground didn't get much picked up a yard and that will leave them with fourth and two Kentucky will be forced to punt they've been busy out there to punt for the fifth time today a fairly short distance here toward the sidelines not his best work Southern Mississippi has it back and the golden eagle off head into the field that last Drive fizzled out Jesse they had to punt it yeah they did and David they're just going to have to do a better job this time around erasing the mental mistakes and just trying to solve the defensive riddle understanding what they're trying to do to you and attack them they'll try again on second down after the incompletion he looking to throw grab behind the line it's Clark and he'll make his way out of bounds after the solid pick up guys out of the back field now it's not just run the ball downhill anymore you got to be versatile I got to be able to trust you in the pass game and I got to be able to throw you the football and you can do that right there I know you're going to catch it and I can depend on it guys this offense is already reeling down multiple possessions really need to cash in on this drive they'll try to run for it down to the ground but he has enough for the first down well there we go we finally see some life in this offense running the football nice game to pick up the first down got to get more of that going moving forward because they have not run it well the golden eagles with the first and 10 and he can't escape and down he goes just about the time the quarterb the snap that dude was in his mustache quick fast and in a hurry in the back field got him to the ground before he could even think about getting the laces and trying to get the ball out of his hands a first down sack can wreck a drive let's see what they've got on second and 14 looking for a man it's Braker quickly complete and he's able to shed one tackle but still just a very short gain you know the defense doesn't have an answer for this slot guy right now they may want to think about bracketing him having a Defender play to the outside and to the inside probably some sort of Zone coverage where you're trying to get two bodies forcing the quarterback to have to go somewhere else with the ball third and long and he'll try to throw for it and he's lucky to get that one back this junior quarterback knows better than to try that too often it's so nice when you know it's third and long you know a pass is coming you worked on it all week get your feet set at the sticks understand that quarterback's got to be rushed get him off of his spot nice execution by this defense and the golden eagles will punt it away on fourth down they're up to a half dozen kicks today and that is just a spectacular Punt and he will pin them in the shadow of their own goal post inside the five give to the running back he's loose at the 15 and they drag him down but not before he picks up the first down defensively you know they're going to run it you know they're going to try to create some space offensively and just try to run out of the goal line so that's a frustrating one that hurts because the Run game comes downhill he gets a big gain and now out of the own end zone now no safety to worry about you can pass you can run the play at your disposal he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple well they're trying to go option but the linebacker shows his open field tackling ability and also his recognition he expected the quarterback to keep it went after and was able to make the tackle for loss after losing a couple on that last play here's second and 12 he's looking to throw he's got the tight end and is a real Nowhere Man tackled in this no gain land yeah nice job by the defense that's what you're supposed to do as soon as they catch the football you want to limit that yards after the catch and he went nowhere after the catch nice job by the D not exactly the ideal situation for this offense third and long backed up inside their 20 to the air it's Vander Griff they'll run the screen defense was not fooled by that screen to the back and they'll stop him short of the marker it'll be fourth down that's perfectly fine if I'm a defense I'm going to give up some yards right there play deep react to shallow the running back catches the football I come up he gets a positive gain but it doesn't matter because now I won third down and forced him on fourth down fourth down and the punt team sends it the other way signals for the fair Catch and looks it in at the 40 Southern Mississippi ready to send that offense back onto the field they hope to be able to cash in on this drive David after having to punt it last time yeah and I think this offense needs to start it with the first play you need to be successful and productive on that first play and it gets you in less predictable situations no doubt too and don't you just feel like there's a little bit more sense of urgency on this drive it just feels like they've got to be able to put some points up on the board here solid pick up of four on first down it's second and six he'll pull it on the read and they try to run inside and there is nowhere to go yeah and a great job by the defense holding the line of scrimmage playing downhill playing responsibility football making sure they shut down that option now trying to keep this drive alive on Third and long from the 45 from the gun wants to pass can't make the connection on third down thanks to that tough hard noosed defense and now it's Fourth Down the golden eagles will punt this one away he'll try to really get into this [Applause] one not going to get a chance to field that one and the punt will bounce out of bounds Kentucky sends the offense back out onto the field they'll have another opportunity to extend this lead after punting last time David and it's important to put that punt behind you it's it's over let it go get back to what you were doing that buil this lead yeah and defense obviously they won a few Downs uh that last drive so we got to put them on their heels here maybe mix up a few Personnel groupings and try to show them some pictures they haven't seen yet here comes the offense on second down pulls and throws off the RPO they'll wrestling down just short of the first down I don't even think they're going to bring out the change to measure this one we see another catch by this guy this defense is going to need to do a better job of tackling the catch in coverage I know they want to slap the ball away but if you can't do it and force the incompletion you've got to at least make sure you're able to drag him down to the ground as soon as he catches the ball quarterback on the keeper he's got enough to move the change for Kentucky so far everything's just seemed to work for this offense when they wanted to run the football regardless of what down and distance it is they're able to get it done up front getting a lot of push and these backs are finding the holes and the wild cats will snap it on First and 10 a little misdirection and the hand off on the counter nowhere to run on that one he loses four on the carry well this guy's been eating them alive game long finally though David you wonder if the defense has been able to make some adjustments find something positive to help slow this guy down hey baby steps right that's a tackle for a loss I know he's got over a hundo on the game but this defense is definitely going to have to be more aggressive commit more guys to stopping that bad man sweet cut there and the defense wrestles him to the ground and I know it's not a first down um but I still like the way they they ran the football here just try to make the next third down manageable try to get it where it's not as predictable I think the offense did a really good job being smart there taking what the defense gave him offense breaks the Huddle on third down they'll try to pick it up on the ground didn't get much picked up a yard and that will leave them with fourth and two Kentucky sends out the pting unit signals for the fair Catch and that's where they'll put it in play just outside the 20 Southern Mississippi has it back and the golden eagle offense headed to the field fires to the wide out makes the grab and this junior loves to show off that big arm wow the quarterback knew he had to get that one to his receiver quickly on the end route did you see the velocity on that throw they'll snap it on first down from the 35 to the air it's raker not much of a chance there he just had to get rid of it to avoid the sack now second and 10 he's looking to throw just a short pass to the tight end and they pick up just a few on that completion I like the idea by the quarterback there you're trying to get this first down so you find the tight end see if he can make a guy miss or shake a tackle not able to get it done third down in this def is already in a world of trouble they could really use the conversion not to mention multiple scores he's going for it all and he dropped it oh what a missed opportunity nobody around just had too much time to think about it well at this juncture in the game with how the scoreboard looks no question this offense is going to have to throw to get back in the game and it's going to be tricky now because the defense is expecting it you're going to throw into a lot of big Zone coverages with everybody's eyes on the quarterback not going to be easy no return coming he'll call for the fair catch Kentucky has it back and the big blue offense takes the field their Drive chart is starting to look a little monotonous punt punt punt David and their defense is starting to get a little frustrated too they just keep putting me back on the field possession after possession Jesse this offense needs to get their heads out of there you know what the pters on theine the oxygen mask right now he's been playing so much he's not used to this this offense they just got to stay on the field they've got to put a drive together and get some balance going running and throwing the ball looking to throw on second down and he drops it just took his eye off of it at the last minute well the receiver did everything right he ran a good route he got his head around he just didn't finish the play just look it in let's see what call they have on Third and long from the 28 looking to throw it's Vander grip fires to the right he's got it and works it to the 40 yd line that'll be a first down third down a lot of times it comes down to not necessarily who's the most open who do you trust the most yeah it's not about the x's and the O's it's about the jimmies and the Joe's and when my guy's better than you and I get you matched up out wide and I know I trust you I'm finding you to the ground with the back a confident tough efficient run gets it up to the 44 small game I know but again the defense knows he's going to run the football he's willing to run the football not just drop back and pass make him on to the Run game you got to do a lot of this after the productive first down play it's second and six trying to impose their will with the Run continuing to turn and move it forward and they're closing in on Midfield it's down at the 48 I think you run that play so you stay out of third and long third and long is not where an offense ever wants to thrive third and medium hey I'm good with that so you run that play to make sure you're set up for a good third down now on third down after that run he'll do it himself he's got enough to move the chains and they'll spot it at the 47 offense that has a chance to be one of the better rushing attacks in the country at the end of the year because of the athleticism of this quarterback you're going to see this guy do damage with his legs this year the wild cats are on the move to the air on first down got it behind the line it's key and the defense had that one well covered just a short game there I love this defense's ability to fight off blocks and rally to theball do such a great job pursuing that wide receiver screen to only allow a minimal gain and no first down after the short completion it's now second down from the gun they'll give it on the inside that's what you expect from a senior don't give them any extra yards great tackle there eighth play of the drive and to keep this one going they'll need to convert a third and five dropping back it's Vander grip the throw to the outside is complete he steps out of bounds but he's got a first down on the play this is exactly why third down is practiced every single day third and short third and medium third long it's money down for a reason you got to lock in great success by the offense so far on third down Kentucky back at it with a fresh set of downs he'll keep it himself runs through a tackle oh he just hand it poorly and it's a fumble and he coughed it up and good thing he got it back himself and those are so frustrating when you're a defense and you swarm to the football and you stick the quarterback and you make him cough it up just to have the other team recover it again and you don't get it still a good stick still a good physical play Keep H that [Applause] back these two quarterbacks have produced as we check out their numbers after [Applause] three just about ready to go in the fourth and we'll see if any drama can be mustered defense has to be frustrated the offense keeps matriculating and matriculating and matriculating the throws toward the end zone and swatted down by the defense to stop the scoring opportunity this quarterback is having a day man and right there he was looking for touchdown pass number five he has been dialing it up he's been throwing strikes we haven't seen to miss very much like he did just there but what a game this dude is having on Third and short the run and looking for the first down he is going nowhere at the line of scrimmage great team defense on that run play everybody doing their job people winning their one-on ones D linemen staying in their gaps linebackers and DBS filling you just can't do it better and on fourth down they'll try to salvage the drive with a field goal he'll swing that big leg for three from 44 yd out he splits the upes and puts three on the board and now the lead extended a little f [Music] that lead just keeps getting fatter in this kickoff team doing a little [Applause] running here he comes from inside his own five didn't find any crease in that kickoff coverage and he'll be stopped at the 17 Southern Mississippi ready to send that offense back onto the field they're trying to get to it they're setting up the screen he makes the stop but a nice pick up there on first down leaves them in second and manageable here's the deal you're down three possessions you know it doesn't feel likely they're going to come back and win but we've seen crazier stuff happen in college football it all starts with a big completion on a two-minute Drive Drive they'll get the momentum started in your direction scanning the field it'ser he finds his man out across the 30 mark down at the 35 after the 10yd gain the offense has struggled they're not going to win this game but trust me this coaching staff is still trying to find things to build off of for next week and after an explosive play like that maybe they can generate just a little bit of momentum and gain a little bit of confidence that they can keep coaching up heading into their next game got the Quick Pass he will step out of bounds but not the big pick up and a first down for this offense it's so nice as a quarterback when you've got a guy like that working for you in the slot he has such a good feel to find the Open Spaces in the defense just makes life so much easier for his quarterback it'll be a first down from the 49 yd line trying to get to it hit hard just as he released it on first down and just couldn't get it to the receiver this offensive line is not going to like watching the film back uh tomorrow when they get the opportunity because they have gotten beat time and time again up front especially in passing situations all of the hits all of the sacks this quarterback has taken is the biggest reason why they're going to lose this game back to the air one more time throws to the wide out or did he find a hole in that secondary finally run out of bounds but he has this offense rolling with a first down this quarterback has been really good today has been on top of it seeing things really really well that pass right there put him over the 300 yard Mark that's a pretty good day they've got it down to the 32 first and 10 coming he's looking to throw it pulls it in it's Clark and defensively this is exactly what you want right you got the big lead so you can play big zone coverag is just keep the ball in front of you keep your eye on the quarterback rally to the football gang tackle and you're going to win this game split backs here trying play action throwing right fires into traffic intercepted he'll try to take it back the 40 30 the 20 touchdown Kentucky the defense puts six on the board with a big time interception return D this you didn't think it could any worse right you thought this game's over as it is anyways offense still throwing the football still trying to make plays and the defense just continues to pour it on gets the pick makes it way all the way to the zone they'll try to add another to their lead and with the extra point theyve pushed the lead out a little further they're lining up to kick it off after the pick six and that defense will come out feeling it on the move from inside is five really disciplined job by the coverage unit to get down there and make the stop at the 19 Southern Mississippi has it back and the golden eagle offense headed to the field out throwing on first down and he drops it just a little too slippery in the hands well a lot of things haven't gone right for him you saw an incompletion right there it's been offense it's been defense they just haven't been able to click and get into a rhythm here and now they're playing catch up and you know they're going to be throwing at each and every play here in the fourth quarter second and 10 here back to throw it's R maker and the pressure gets him back at the Y Line not one but two sacks on the day and possibly more to come still time left in this football game and this is a beat down you know all passes are coming this offensive line better do a better job you make up the game plan and not a lot on the play sheet for this third and long from inside their own 20 looking to throw and he needs a chunk play and trying to put points on the board on third down now they're staring at fourth down and that's just the kind of game it's been for this quarterback in this offense you got a great game planing all week long you're watching it throughout practice you think you're going to have a chance to light up the scoreboard but they're just not able to hook up you got to give this defense a ton of credit they've done a great job in coverage they've been breaking on passes they've had their number and that's why they're leading by as much as they are he only needs a sliver of daylight and the returner will be knocked down Kentucky sends the offense back out onto the field maybe they couldn't pay off that last drive with a touchdown now they moved the ball down the field and executed like they wanted to until they stalled out and had to settle for a field goal I think if you want to take the next step two here and score a touchdown you got to start finding more creative ways to get your best players the ball let's see if they can do that here didn't get much on first down it's second and nine they'll run it really nice stop there from this senior leader if they can convert here that type of play can really give you a shot of momentum from the gun leaves it on the inside with the back and sure tackling there to keep him from getting to the first down marker and for the second time tonight they'll Trot out the field goal kicker and he's going to have to get into this football this is a 53 yd attempt and this lety upright well that's just piling on not the penalty kind just the mean kind well that kid just showed up his hammer for a leg 50 plus and he did it with [Music] ease he keep pushing that lead out and the kickoff teams getting some [Applause] work he'll bring it back from inside is five nice job executing all of the assignments as they put a stop to that return at the 22 Southern Mississippi ready to send that offense back onto the field safe completion on the screen they make the stop but a good pick up there on first down love the execution there on the screen the running back shows pass protect pass protect last second turns around so he's able to get the ball the D linan have already run past him now he can turn up field for a big Gainer that completion leaves us with second and [Music] medium looking to throw it's raker makes the grab he almost picked up the first down on that one but he'll be just a little bit short and listen I know that wasn't a huge gain it was positive but I like doing more of that in today's college football I'm going to try to give my Playmakers a chance to do damage in space away from all the big boys inside here on third down for this offense they'll try to get it through the air got it in the middle it's Butler really nice job there by both guys the throw and the catch to work that defense and get the first down he might have expected to see this DB up in his receivers kitchen instead nice little Zone and they pick up the first man offenses are getting so good re seeing the holes in the zone knowing you're in zone knowing where to sit down how to make it an easy pitch and catch for the quarterback and that's what it was on Third and short and this will be incomplete a big hit there forces second down well this guy must feel like he's run into a buz saww in this game he has been under duress all game long and that's a big reason why he's thrown multiple interceptions in the game too nothing coming easy to him it's hard to see the field when your internal clock is going off so fast because of the pressure of this defense and that's why they find themselves down by so much here in the fourth good job to toss that ball out of bounds and avoid the loss it's a nice adjustment by the defense here with a big lead in the game you're putting extra DBS on the field knowing the offense has to throw to get back in this one in the fourth quarter so your best cover guys on the field and they force an incompletion on the last one let's see what they find in the playbook for third and long from the 43 going to throw it again shoots it to the lefts it in and he gets a big chunk of yardage to the 34 yd line and with that pass right there dude he goes over 350 on the day nice performance this QB's been dialed in and the golden eagles are rolling down the field looking to go up on first down caught in the back field it's Clark and oh did they know that one was coming they'll knock him down in the back field you know you got to be careful as a QB throwing to your running back in man coverage if there's a linebacker draped all over him then that that Ball's not going anywhere and you just saw it right there better play by the defense after that five yd loss some work to do now to keep this drive humming at second and 15 going to try to pop one on the screen not a a lot of room there on that screen pass as it just never developed and I don't like the play call guys screen pass at this point of the game against the defense playing big zones prevent trying to keep the ball in front it's just not going to work you got to take shots offensively and they have converted their first two third down opportunities but this one a third and long finds his man it's Thomas and boy is he close to that first down maybe just a couple of inches short man and that's just making it way tooo easy on the defense they're laughing at that short throw they're like really okay we'll just make an easy tackle and jawar punt return team out on the field you're going to make it that easy for us down in the fourth quarter it's too late for empty possessions they'll go for it on Fourth now couldn't find his man and they'll give up the football on Downs here's this offense with a fresh set of downs on the ground with the counter they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one it's going to be tough sledding for the offense here they're trying to ice this game by running the football and bleeding the clock they've got a pretty good lead here late in the game but the defense knows the run's coming right so they're going to be loading the line of scrimmage getting stops like what they just did be interesting to see what the offense does on this next one on the Move good solid tackle well I don't know what the quarterback saw on that last play but he made a pretty quick decision that he was just going to tuck it and run it and his offensive coordinator is glad he did how about the speed by the QB on that play lining up to convert third down they'll stick to the ground looking for the marker they'll Mark him down right there but it'll be enough for a Kentucky first down job dialing up that short yardage situation play call there David they needed one yard and they picked up two yeah great job up front great job by the back KN where they need to go nice having a hole you can get through and not have to just do it all on your own as a running back and the wild cats have it with a first and 10 might as well run him until they stop him he's got it again just sort of a Relentless run getting everything that was available to him and they'll Mark him down at the 40 football is about adjustments first half line up pound strong pound strong second half great job you're going to move your defense and shift to try to account for that boom we'll pull some guys and run a counter back side and have some success they'll go to the counter a strong tackle and wrap up from the Junior they've got it at the 41 third and short trying to keep the chains moving dropping back it's Vander grip they'll throw it to the back on the screen and they wrap him up but not before he's got enough for the first down I don't know if they're trying to get this guy consideration but the fact that they're still throwing the ball at this point of the game with a lead like they have is surprising in I got to be honest it'll be a first down from the 49 yd line they'll run it to keep the clock moving and the defense makes the stop after a minimal gain and the defense doing a great job committing to the run when you commit to the run like this obviously you can give up some plays in the passing game but you got to stop the run first picked up two yards on that last one they need on second down from the gun they'll try the middle and a nice solid pick up there before the defense wrestles him to the ground they'll come to the line needing four yards for a first down they're already two for on this drive we reached the two-minute warning and this offense is that much closer to salting away a victory about to snap it for the eighth time on this drive and it's a third down and four running back searching for a hole they'll move the chains good execution on third down they've got it at the 41 big reason why his team has the lead right is because of his performance running the football well over 100 yards in this game they knew that they were going to have to really put a lot of pressure on him he'd have to shoulder the load and he has delivered for his offense all game long they're going to go right back to him on first down just sledgehammering his way down to the 33 there's nothing more frustrating than when you get late in the game and you know they're running the football and you don't stop it's been that kind of day for this defense they haven't played well they're going to have to go to the well they're going to have to figure some things out practice this week I can promise you will not be a lot of fun with these coaches out of the gun to give to the back and how about that play by that giant that mountain of a man on the defensive front well you love to see that from the defense right it's like Ben don't break they've given up a bunch of plays on this drive but now that they're getting down close to field goal range you're seeing him start to stiffen up there yeah and plays don't matter anymore yards don't matter all that matters with these defenses nowadays is points and limiting them they'll try to power their
