well here's a few things that I'm guessing he doesn't exactly want you to know let's [Music] begin now of course yesterday we had one of K starmer's first major speech and saying about how different he was going to be from the conservatives he was basically blaming for everything because his face he seemed to say I didn't want to do it but I had no choice I need to cut winter fuel allowance and I needed to let people out of prison early to create more spaces there is just two problems e here number one what you could have presumably actually have done with the prisoners it's got something like the prison version of one of those biy Stockholm barges and thereby guess create an extra 500 places or so though admittedly yes it would have taken a little bit of time to be set up but let's face it we're heing now that there's something like less than 100 prison spaces left so surely something like this would boost up a bit Also let's just get on to the other point and a few more after that sorry Kia but it's to be said him and Rachel Reeves are kind of G about saying that the government had absolutely no idea about this 22 billion pound black hole however Rachel Reeves I'm pretty sure did have an idea I say that because according to this article it say it's laughable for Rachel Reeves to claim she didn't know the true state of the public finances so what's going on then how come they're saying this well Ruth Davidson said if you paid detention during the election campaign almost all of the questions to anybody even vaguely related to the treasur or the leadership was how are you going to afford to do this because x y and Zed so we did know about it and there's also institutions in place to tell you about it Rachel Reeves always said during the election campaign that should labor win they would inherit the worst economic Legacy since the second world war and iron discipline would be required to balance the books so how can she possibly go from saying that to saying oh we didn't know anything about it honestly which is how it seems doesn't it even Jeremy Hunt the former chancellor has denied basically the size of the black hole and has accused Miss Reeves of using the 22 billion pound black hole as a smoke screen to justify tax Heights spending cuts that she was always planning even The Institute of fiscal studies the ifs has said that Miss Reeves is being disingenuous but no one comes out smelling like roses and their director Paul Johnson said the chancer cannot honestly announce a series of tax rises in October budget blame them on this hle that she has just discovered and claimed she couldn't have known pre-election that tax wiers would be needed to maintain Public Services the fact is obvious to all who cared to look and that is a very good point isn't it I don't know about you but I'm pretty sure I remember in the election campaign labor said that all their plans would be fully costed and there wouldn't be any need to do this this or this something which it does seem they are you turning on very quickly but what else is there then well how would you feel knowing obviously as the electric bills are going up which which as I said previously labor said they had a fully costed plan on how to make sure that doesn't happen back in 2021 or 2022 or whatever it is and obviously now that seems to gone past the Wayside doesn't it but also people now have to make sure their money stretches further and therefore that winter fuel allowance is going to impact quite a lot of people isn't it especially if they're only just over the limit on which they'll get taxed however that won't affect you apparently according to this article if you're a British expat living in an EU which is just absolutely crazy isn't it not that of course is probably one of his incentives to try and reel us back in I'm guessing anyway according to this arcle it says that British pensioners to keep their wi of fuel allowance if they live in the EU as many as 35,000 retirees on the continent are on line to get the 300 handout even if they exceed the New Wealth threshold set by Rachel Reeves an expats living in the European Union Plus Norway Iceland Luton SE I think that says I'm not very good with geography sorry and Switzerland are guaranteed the allowance by the brexit withdrawal agreement and I'm really pleased for those people that labor can't basically take away this money from them however for the rest of us I guess we're kind of out of luck unless of course K St does do one of his b Dan and u-turns a hopefully he will do soon especially as winter comes and he sees that this is really affecting the elderly a lot more than he thought hey and obviously K starm himself didn't exactly want a spoiled and nasty surprise we all get in in October about the budget except to say that people with broad shoulders would basically have to kind of bear the brunt of it all the thing is though it might be a lot worse than that and I say that because this article says that millions of drivers will pay more for petrol under the painful autum budget plans warns the RAC and the club is urging ministers to consider a major change to the way Brits pay apparently drivers says according to this have been warned that Chancellor Rachel Reeves is set to squeeze mous further as the government seeks to fill this 22 bill ion pound black hole that let's face it label and shut up about in the public finances so what are they going to do with that then well I'm guessing the first things that even says here that the fuel tax has been frozen at 57.95 P per liter since 2011 in part thanks to the Suns keep it down campaign Shameless plug for you this and of course it was even temporarily reduced by 5p to 52.95 P in 2022 a cut which has been carried forward to 2024 however the RAC is now urging drivers to prepare for for the first rise in the rate of over a decade returning to pre 2022 levels I'm guessing she may even go further than that she might round up to 60 or even 70 P which may not sound like a lot 3 or 13p over the additional 5p however that will surely Mount up all dependent on how big your fuel tank is not forgetting the last and most important thing in my opinion anyway all of these Cuts or tax Rises or whatever surely could have been avoided in my opinion and I say it because wait a minute all you commenters or keyboard Warriors can anyone remember a little while ago when labor just went into power they won they said while the rest of us were basically crying about it at the mere thought of what a toss partty would be within the next 5 years and of course we're seeing that now aren't we but there is one thing that that he didn't even question about in his speech although admittedly I was starting to get a bit tired cuz kit St is a bit boring in my opinion anyway and that is this that 22 billion black hole could have been reduced by what is it 11.6 billion or around that figure on what I've heard that Ed Mand the Energy Secretary from what I'm aware is going to be giving all of that money to help fix climate problems overseas I mean not being funny and whilst labor are fully going down the green environmental route it seems but surely shouldn't we if we are in this mess have the right or be entitled to use that money for ourselves first let us fix ourselves and then I guess you can help out the climate emergency even though from what I've heard in medieval times the planet was 2 de warmer than it is now but of course they don't like to say that to you do they and not only that but all this money is just given to Junior doctors isn't that included in the 22 billion pound black hole which wouldn't have been included if he didn't strike that deal and let's face it unfortunately with strikes or people that Tred to hold the country to Ransom in general if you pay a ransom they come back for more and more and more don't they then fact from from what I've heard there's unions talking about strikes all over the place but let's just hope that doesn't happen because he might squeeze our balls a little bit more than what they're going to be doing in October hey
