iPhone 16 Buyers: Apple Thinks You're Stupid

Apple thinks that you're stupid I hate to be the very bad news but they do and it's showing itself again with the iPhone 16 so I've got the iPhone 15 here which Apple wants you to think is Obsolete and they intentionally made this phone obsolete the iPhone 15 the 14 pro series The 13 Pro Series all these phones that you've had for the last couple of years all obsolete because Apple intelligence which isn't even really going to be available on launch is coming and and well your phone won't be able to run it but it's not just Apple intelligence it's also the fact that they're charging you $800 and they're still giving you a 60 HZ refresh rate on your screen it's not just that they're giving you a substandard battery size this can be about I think 3500 milliamps because well I guess if you want more battery it's a pro feature right cuz really you don't need it of course and then no always on display and of course no always on display because one they don't give you the promo display and two they don't give you a big enough battery to support it why do they do this because they want to force you on the upsell because when you go to the Apple Store they have all these great options except they don't they have basically two models they have the the normal model and they have the pro model of course they have two different sizes but this is nothing new it's something that's been happening for a long time and people just keep paying for it so is it one of those things where it's you hate the player or you hate the game and I just made a video talking about the whole debunking the myth with the 60 htz on the screen because well people want you to believe that the 60 HZ refresh rate on an normal iPhone is better than everybody else's 60 HZ which is just 100% completely not true because 60 HZ is 60 HZ but the other argument is oh well people don't care and they'll buy them anyway well one people don't care because they don't know any better and if you if you've been made to believe that oh well that's a pro Lev feature I don't need that I don't need that and we could go down the list of I don't need that's all day long but at this point in time apple is selling you an $800 phone that doesn't have 120 HZ refresh rate it doesn't even have a 90 HZ refresh rate this is something that you can get in a $200 Android phone yes it was more of a pro Lev feature way back in the day when it originally came out unlike the iPhone not the iPhone but the uh OnePlus 7 Pro whenever they came out with 90 HZ or whenever we got the Samsung phones and finally got 120 HZ yeah it was more of a premium feature back then but that was like 5 six years ago it's been a long time and now if you look at the Android world it's standard fair so Apple does a really good job of making you think that you don't need things and that their stuff is better even though it's actually worse and this has been a systematic plan that they've had in place for a long time so Apple didn't just wake up a couple of months ago and decide that oh maybe we should think about putting AI on our phones this has been a long long plan for a long time so they can try and get you to upsell why because these phones are so boring they're so stale and if you take a look at the iPhone 16 it looks just like the iPhone 15 which look just like the iPhone 14 I mean yeah oh we go from like rounded to square edges but really and truly it's all the same stuff we've been hearing this for years that these phones are bland they're Bland blah blah blah like nothing's new nothing's changed but they have to find a way to upsell you because if they don't find a way to upsell you well then there goes our profit margins and profit margins is the only thing that Apple cares about so I I get into arguments with this stuff all the time but some people like oh well people just don't care I'm like well they don't have another Choice other than going to Android which for some people isn't that much of a choice people like iPhone and you get locked in I Apple's been locking people in with services for a long time not just with software stuff not just with features you've got you know the iCloud people depend on that they rely on that they got tons of their stuff there it's hard to switch over or Apple TV Plus or your Apple watch or your iPad or your MacBook or all these other different things like once you get locked in it's really really hard to leave but they've been planning this for a long time and how do I know this well we've been talking about Apple and their lower Hardware requirements for a longest time but it's funny because they'll tell you it's the best chip in the world and when we looked at this last year when you had the iPhone 15 do you think you got the best chip in the world no you got the previous year chip and whenever you had the iPhone 14 did you have the newest chip no you had the previous year chip and you had less RAM and you had all those other lower specs so that way one day when we got here to the iPhone 16 they could be like oh well we're giving you the new chip and you can get apple intelligence but if you have an iPhone 15 which is just now a year old it's basically obsolete in that department which you may or may not care about Apple intelligence I certainly don't and I don't think that AI in this instance is a reason to upgrade whatsoever probably still going to suck but I I was thinking about it I'm like you know it's ridiculous because people keep paying for this and people will continue to keep paying for it and that's an argument well if people are paying for it then they must not care it must be good enough but at some point you have to look at a company and go you're purposely holding back stuff that is standard Fair across the board in dozens of other companies and manufacturers that have Android and it's very much nice I me even my wife can tell the difference my kids can tell the difference if you can't tell the difference I think it's willful blindness maybe you don't know what you're looking for but whenever I have a normal phone that I have that has 120 HZ and then I look at something that has 60 HZ like this you can see how choppy and how UNS smooth it is but whenever you go from an iPhone 12 to an iPhone 13 to an iPhone 14 and you never experience this then you don't know any better so when people are like oh well you need this feature you're you're being screwed they're they're not not giving you the best of the best and my argument is if you have a phone that you charge $800 for it should be the best of the best it should have three cameras it should have always on display it should have faster charging it should have a bigger battery and if any of this stuff if an Andro let's say Samsung if Samsung came out with an $800 phone and it had two cameras on it and it had no always on display it had 25 watt charging or 20 watt charging and it had a 60 HZ refresh rate that phone would be crucified by every single reviewer out there on the planet it would be you would be told it's garbage it's trash this is outdated technology it's a cash grab but then you go oh it's the iPhone 16 and all of a sudden oh my gosh the iPhone 16 is here it's so amazing guys so I like to do this stuff for awareness to let you know you're being sold a substandard product the only thing that's top-notch in the new iPhone 16 is going to be the chip which the a18 bionic yeah looks great but the reality is it's basically an i it's basically an a17 and you can see this whenever they do their keynote launch right they compare their phones their new stuff to stuff that's 3 four years old they're like oh well it's this much better than last year's model you know why the iPhone 16 is so much better than the iPhone 15 because the iPhone 15 already had a one-year-old chip in it so you're getting a 2year newer processor so that's why they're like oh it's 30% better 40% better 27% better but then when you look look at the iPhone 16 Pro and they compare it with the iPhone 15 Pro 10% 15% 133% 177% why because it's basically the same chip that they redesigned a little bit so that way it can maximize being able to handle AI it's very similar to what we got when we went from the Snapdragon 8 generation 2 to the 3 there's not a whole lot of extra horsepower there but we do have a significant Improvement in the neural processing unit and things like that so that way you can more better handle AI tasks but then here's the other thing one of the main reasons that the iPhone 15 iPhone 14 they can't do any of this AI stuff is because they don't have very much RAM and this is something intentional by design that Apple's been doing for a long time they used to be the whole the dash oh well Apple doesn't need that they can do it with the less because their phone and their hardware and their software is so optimized you don't need 8 gigs of RAM you don't need 12 gigs of RAM and you take a look even with what we get now with this generation of the Google pixel phones or the next generation of Samsung phon they'll probably all have 12 16 GB of RAM across the board even the Google pixel 9 Pro they have 16 gigs of RAM and they have I believe 3 gigb of dedicated Ram specifically for handling AI even the Google pixel 8 had serious issues with being able to run Google's first on device AI model which is Gemini Nano because 8 gigs is just not enough why because it needs all that extra Ram so that way it can use and store and handle the calculation processes for these large language models your a I and be able to do these things so yeah you might be getting 8 GB of RAM with the iPhone 16 or the 16 Pro but then they'll be like oh well we have this new Advanced Apple intelligence a year or two from now and you still won't have enough RAM right because they're still sandbagging you and giving you the lowest possible amount that they can get away with and and we've seen these Ponzi schemes for a long time why don't you have SD cards why is it that we don't have an SD card slot in our phones anymore because they can't upsell you on storage because if they sell you an iPhone 16 with 128 but then you can put a 1 tby SD card in there you're not going to buy a 256 or a 512 so it's the same thing with when we went to Bluetooth yeah the wired headphone jack is better you get better quality sound shoot that was one of the great things with LG and their premium phones the the quad bit 32-bit D you got a great sound experience but well if we take away the headphone jack then we can sell you our $300 $200 earbuds or our 500 something doll headphones and it's last able cuz they just came out with a couple new colors and USBC version of the airpods max everybody thought oh we're going to get new airpods Max it's been years no they just got a couple new colors and they put USBC I it's it's a joke so yeah that I really just want to talk about this because you're you're getting a substandard experience if you were to go from an $800 iPhone 16 if you were to just go buy they had the OnePlus 12 on sale the other day for $66.99 tremendously better phone in almost every single area faster charging bigger screen faster refresh rate three cameras I mean you name it but of course you'll lose your Apple services and I and I got to thank the UK for being all over all over apple and continually trying to sue them to make changes because if it weren't for them we probably wouldn't be getting RCS support So RCS support is actually nice because you can finally send better quality pictures and videos and internet messages instead of using just regular text protocol SMS so if youve probably noticed over the last couple years Apple refused to do any sort of integration with Google's standard model of RCs because if you have an Android phone or you're sending media to an Android phone Force we have that stupid green bubble blue bubble garbage but then on top of that if you sent a picture it was it looked like garbage if you sent a video it looked like a compressed little video that was like 120p resolution and it was terrible so we're finally making some way in that department but I just want to let you know and here's the thing the iPhone 16 is going to be a good phone it's going to work perfectly fine your day-to-day stuff will be good but you're missing out on a lot and you're paying Apple a premium the iPhone 16 in reality should be like 400 bucks and if you take a look in the Android world at anything that's comparable with you know two cameras of course pixels I I have to throw the pixel under the bus here too because they have now raised their price up to where their phone is more expensive you know their phone is $77.99 now of course it has two cameras but at least has a bigger battery at least it has a high refresh rate at least isn't always on display I mean there's a lot of stuff there that I think is better but we we find ourselves in a position where is it ignorance or is it just that people don't care I mean it could be both because a lot of people don't realize until you go to the store that you're being down sold a phone that has stuff that should have higher quality life stuff in it right and 120 HZ is not a pro Lev feature and always on display it's not a pro feature that's like if you want to go buy a $50,000 Mercedes and it didn't have a backup camera in it or it it had an air conditioner but it didn't have a heater or it had a fan in it but no air conditioning like well that's that's a pro Lev feature like yeah you've got a Mercedes but you don't need a backup camera you don't need that you don't need heated seats that's stuff is basically standard in any luxury car and and these are luxury phones by any stretch of the imagination these phones are luxury phones and it's great that Apple sells so many of them that's cool they they have a big business they make a bunch of money but at some point in time something needs to give and I'm sure they'll find a way to charge more money for it eventually once they get there CU Apple companies have been trying forever to find ways to give you very little change and charge you more money for it and apple is of course the king of that but yeah uh it'll be here you can pre-order it in a couple of days and I'm going to make a video talking about that because in reality people are going to buy these phones so I would like to give you my my best information possible on whether you whether I think it's worth upgrading or not and the biggest question here is do you care about AI because most people don't most people still think it's a gimmick it's a buzzword Apple's 2 years late to the party and it's still not ready yet like it's it's your buddy that's like I'm going to be there in 5 minutes but then they show up like an hour before the party ends and that's how apple is with apple intelligence it's not ready it's something that's going to be beta features and a lot of it's still going to be rolled out and a lot of it I think some of it's not going to be ready till the next year so the way behind the power curve but they had to be behind the power curve because if they didn't then they couldn't sell you on this new hardware but hey at least you're getting a modern chip this time at least you're not getting a last year's chip for this year's prices and I complain about that enough back in the day but yeah this is the iPhone 16 is like a three-year culmination of Apple ultimately trying to screw you because they sandbag their Hardware to the point where yes you can still use it yes it'll still work but now they force you if you want to get these new features you have to upgrade and of course you're paying $800 to upgrade and you're still getting a substandard performance because well still 60 HZ still two cameras still always on no always on display still small small battery still slow charging all right the list goes on so that's all I got in this video hopefully this was helpful and insightful and let you know uh what's going on in the Apple world but this stuff wouldn't fly in Android but then people like oh well nobody buys Android a lot of people buy Android phones just in the US apple is uh Apple's the gold standard of like it's like the gold standard of bronze anyway
