good uh birdie at the last there yeah thank you what what' you do for three and a half hours or however long it was uh we ate we sat worked with my trainer a little bit sat some more yeah hung out I went and saw some friends in the clubhouse and then went hit a couple putts and then made a putt so was there a clear winner in the ball the ball rolling competition up there not really only for a make yeah nothing no one W after you had a real solid front nine then kind of up and down back what what happened or what was there any issues um bad swing on 10 and then you know bad swing on 14 I I played I honestly played great today I'm really really bummed about it um yeah so I you know bogeyed uh 14 which is a bad Bogey and then I hit a great shot on 15 it's it's so hard to judge wedges at altitude and I thought I flagged it and it landed just about a pace or two too short and I spun it in the water and then on 17 was a Mis club for sure you should never go long there and that's the one I'm most pissed about to be honest is that one in 14 because you know that's I essentially had four doubles today I was middle of Fairway with an iron in on two. FES make Bogey and then hit the water twice and made double so you know that's eight shots I just gave away I'd like to have those back how nasty is that R behind 17 yeah it's brutal if you like I saw Hideki get up and down he was only a couple yards through and that was way more doable I was like five or six yards into it and it was so thick and my ball was sitting not all the way down it was sitting pretty high and I had to hit a high soft shot and I just kind of went under it so it's really tough overall what do you take out it today personally I hit it fantastic um I thought from at least off the T and then hit some really good shots it's just I mean you take away you take away those three water balls and we're looking we're probably having a different interview right now so I thought it was really good whose idea was the ball rolling game on the on the putting green oh uh well my cadd John and I always do it and then Rory behind us through it and then we said all right let's all do it and then we did one down and back so so no winners but who came closest we don't do closest it's only makes $100 makes was uh was Dereck white one of the guys who came back into the clubhouse during the weight at all uh he not that I know of he might have um but you know I mean d lives only 20 minutes away I'm sure he just left so how was it having him out there you it was pretty cool honestly it's uh it's fun cuz he's kind of new to golf and so you know he got his real first experience of pro golf at the Olympics watching and walking with us and then I he really has the bug we've been talking about he's like man I love it so much and and so it was really cool to have him out there and you know it's great to have great local um Sports Superstars out watching and and rooting on me and other golfers and just bringing more awareness to golf and growing the game you know he was going to bring the trophy final trophy oh is that why he was here oh honestly I didn't know I I didn't know he was going to bring it uh that's they've they bring it sometimes to tournament so I never know why but if if that's I wish I would have known that CU then I would have gone and uh taken a picture with him or something with it uh d and I used played basketball against each other maybe starting in like the third or fourth grade and then went all the way through high school basketball and we kind of always had a mutual respect because we guarded each other and then we had a lot of mutual friends um so we've always been kind of acquaintances and then um you know obviously being Olympians together and hanging out in Paris was pretty cool so you mentioned it yesterday I know kind of being a rival were you with him growing up almost but are there any I guess specific memories from that match up uh that stand out to you years later that are kind of funny to think back on yeah I mean the funniest one is I feel like a jump stop kind of became a was it I can't remember if it was a jump stop or a Euro Step but it was like really new it might have been the Euro Step and I remember he was doing the Euro Step at a young age and our whole team kept thinking it was travel so every time he would do the Euro Step all our dads and everyone was like that's to travel and they would never call it and then fast forward like the next year we're all doing the same thing thing so uh that was one funny thing but there was a lot of great matches his team and our team growing up kind of a young age I felt like we were always in the finals together so it was a matter of who had a good game who was going to win so getting ready to and you hear the sound the weather delay he just has just kind of looks up and smiles I didn't see your reaction what was your reaction knowing you're about to be done then well I knew it was close and I kind of wanted Rory to to speed up cuz I was like gosh if we could just play real quick and maybe tell the guy to like hold off a little bit um but yeah I was pretty bummed um I was hoping it was going to be one of those quick Colorado you know 30 minute storms but there was another one behind it so uh definitely bummer been here for three hours all right thanks guys
