Eastern Michigan Eagles VS Washington Huskies Watchalong Stream

e e e e e e e e e e e okay everybody what's going on we are live um game is not started yet it looks like yeah okay Big 10 Network not everybody's going to get it though yeah Michigan's not that good this year offensively they can't hang defense still okay e I have no idea if the game is on the radio actually interesting question e e all right here we go people game's just about to get underway here we already got 50 people on the stream how's everyone doing walking out of the tunnel okay should be should be another relatively easy win will I be streaming the game I mean I'm streaming the game right now right yeah I mean that's what I'm doing at the at this moment sprained is ACL if that's true he got very very lucky U let me check MCL injury the ACL is okay that's what I'm reading right now yeah MCL which is different Packers season's over though they don't have a real quarterback Malik Willis is probably going to lose every game he plays now that I think about it okay okay the team runs onto the field at least four weeks yeah Green Bay season will probably be over by then love didn't play that well yesterday either so it's not like I'm super encouraged about his ability to play well when he does get back all right we got a couple minutes here one second Jonah Coleman broke 13 tackles last week I knew it was good I didn't know it was that good can you show the game no toxic of course I can't show the game you were able to watch the game last week right Austin if you were able to watch it last week you should be able to watch it the same way this week [Music] I think it's on TV the exact same way it's not on fubo okay yeah it's probably about right ower um I feel like the Bears could be the surprise playoff team honestly I know that's bold but I actually feel like it could be a team like the Bears if you're looking for like a sleeper all right here we go just about to start I got Baylor versus Utah on the other TV maybe there'll be a better game on let me look I haven't really checked the lineup this week that much no there's nothing really great on right now I guess the end of this Kansas state two lane game's good I'm going to flip over Arkansas Oklahoma State's not bad either okay kickoff is away udub will start with possession and they will start with with a Touchback so Washington will take over on the 25 and we are getting under way here so hopefully the scoreboard will work today but it may not we'll never know until it actually works or it doesn't work uh seems to be some confusion in the Huddle referees aren't letting them start yet what's going on why is this guy smiling nope scoreboard hasn't started quite yet it will okay here we go first and 10 from the 25 Will Rogers going to get in under Center here two tight ends one back snap play action he drop back pressured gets it out incomplete just checked it down to Coleman as he was getting yanked down to the ground that yeah our tackle play this year is going to be a problem there was no reason why there should have been immediate pressure on that play but there was three receivers at the top one guy goes in motion to the bottom from The Gun Will Rogers gets it out quickly out route for about six yards he stays in bounds oh he got pushed back so we only got four yards okay third and Six coming up third and manageable snap has time this time checks it down for like maybe a yard uh that was awful there was no hope for that play at all that was a complete completely pointless checkdown he got demolished the moment he caught the ball fourth and four so that's a three and out I do not like that decision he had time I think he could have waited for something to develop punt is away it's a really bad punt did that get blocked I think that got blocked that was either a really bad punt or a block oh yeah that got blocked so that means means that Eastern Michigan will start with the ball in field goal range more or less so that's not good that was as bad a start as you can have if you're Washington from the 32 in the gun hand off up the middle a shotgun draw and he drives forward for maybe three McMillan I think his name is okay the scoreboard is working now so that's good second and eight drop back check down to the back over in the left flat gets maybe five yards going to bring up third and short their offense is bad oh the Eagles have a player named Terry Lockett at receiver Terry Lockett Jr I like it third three third and two well it looks like third and two to me hand off up the middle out a shotgun and broken tackle but he still doesn't get there that turn should have been a two- yard loss instead of was like a one yard gain they might go for this which is why you don't want to miss that tackle missing that tackle was really bad but we now forced them into a difficult situation here I imagine they're going to go for this yeah fourth and one officially three receivers to the top pistol and in motion going be a hand off up the middle finds the hole first down man it does feel like they're winning the physicality battle so far which is not good yeah I'm watching that in the other TV right guy see that's why that Miss tackle is such a big deal I don't know if they go for it if they don't get that Miss tackle that was really bad handoff going left and going to be pick up of three or four pushed out of bounds hand off going left and maybe half a yard third down coming up [Music] third and five and the play clock expired or he barely got it off Blitz gets it away over the middle Crossing route good caught first down down to the five but the play clock expired there I don't see a flag though so man hand off up the middle going to be a pickup of like three down to the two I do not like the look of this game so far guys this is as bad a start as you can have and off up the middle out of the shotgun no gain maybe half a yard third and goal and another situation where if they don't get it they probably go for it man in motion snap another hand off up the middle no QB keeper and he goes down for a loss of half a yard so it's going to be fourth and goal from like the two and a half yard line okay they are going for it from the three is officially fourth and goal from the three Back In Motion empty Back Field Blitz coming we got there he lobs it up into the end zone incomplete and just like that Washington will get the ball back they'll be deep in their own territory but no points for Eastern Michigan that decision will be discussed a lot of people will argue that you should be doing a field goal on the road there but I actually think it's the right decision you're not going to win this game by kicking field goals if you're Eastern Michigan and we got commercials we got commercials first unreasonable decision he was in the hole in the zone punt caught at the 15 and he's brought down no no he shakes out of it he's up to the 20 he's up to about the 20 three yard line there is a flag down though this may come back H really really dumb play that was a free first down and we decided we didn't want it ah holding on the returning team so move them back probably going to start inside answer for this run game which is really disappointing because it should have been pretty you know this should have been the focus after last week [Music] they're going empty there are four receivers going to be a short throw over the middle CAU and he's actually going to get some decent yards out of it but nowhere near a first down so this will sh set up a short field goal attempt from the 10 so 30 and he's going to get finally taken down at the 15 wow Coleman just got the shotgun draw found the hole and took off and he was almost gone cut it back perfectly man okay from the 16 officially from the gun receiver in motion snap another handoff up the middle and this one he's going to spin forward for a few second and seven snap Rogers has time throws it end zone caught fits it in on a little like a little post route to Boston that's a touchdown 13-6 pending a extra point three minutes left to go in the second quarter it's good 14 to6 the downside is the defense did not get very much time to rest but they're going to get halftime I guess so it's not all bad now is it kick off is I think that's a Touchback yeah it is MH okay from the 25 yd line first and 10 for [Music] na play action bubble screen and he's got some blockers but no maybe a yard couldn't quite find the hole that's going to be second down and nine to go clock running shotgun three receivers S as time now he get the ball back here they just need to not commit a penalty nice swim move by The Tackle very nice third and 18 Washington does use a timeout so they're going to get the barn disaster they're going to get the ball back with a little more than two minutes left yeah I wonder if they're going to put time back on the clock sometimes they do that because like the team calls a timeout but the the guy who controls the game clock doesn't realize it when the referees do s and they're just going to run the ball up the middle for a gain of like two that's a give up and I imagine Washington uses another timeout here why let it tick down to two minute there I guess you'd rather keep the timeout I don't know if I agree I would probably called timeout but um yeah they did not and we're in commercials by the way so you're not missing anything but saving the extra time out is not bad that might allow you to get off a field goal attempt at the end here I'm not completely against it h Christian mcaffry is questionable for Monday night's game whoa what's going on there this is week one how is he already hurt and the punt is away it's a lowline drive bounces inside the 40 fielded at the 30 it's going to be returned up to about the 35 so minute 51 and two timeouts going to be a fake bubble screen now he's going to lob it kind of a wheel route almost pass the 50 nice 20 yard flick there first down and more for Hunter I was like kind of like a wheel route but not really snap play action half-hearted play action he's going deep down the right sideline and I don't know they're going to say it's incomplete I would not hate looking at this one again they're going to say it was out of bounds he's not really contesting it but I wonder if that foot was in no no incomplete nice try though that's a nice catch it was just a little out of bounds okay second down oh oh man that would have been that was pretty nice snap bubble screen got some blockers and he's close to the marker there is a flag down though this is probably going to come back but let's take a look oh face mask no that's on the defense that's a 15 yard penalty wow okay that puts us well in field goal range already and it's a free first oh I see yeah the uh somebody was face masking one of the blockers okay that makes sense still a ton of time left time is not really a concern what oh short pass dropped by that may have been Decker uh well it wasn't going to be a touchdown so Decker didn't want to catch it he only catches touchdowns all right second and 10 with a minute five left yeah that was a point blank drop by the tit by Decker but it would not have been a touchdown so it kind of makes sense why he dropped it I guess snap and flick out to the left side another drop that one really should have been caught by Boston that would have been close to a first down now it's third and 10 from just inside the 20 a minute left drop back flings it left side caught along the sideline that was basically just like a one-on-one ball go get it and that is a first down around the five yd line there we go just basically threw it up told his tight end to go make a play and he did just inside the 5 yard line first and goal this might be the time to run the ball a little bit with Coleman naap hand off to Coleman he's going to push forward right at the goal line if he's not in he's out by a foot oh fight fight fight fight fight fight okay they're saying he's in he bullied his way into the end zone they're saying and um now they're saying that he what oh he's not in okay so the clock is going to keep running here and Washington's lining up from the one and now we have a stoppage uh oh well that was confusing that sequence was uh something I guess they're going to take a look at this and see if he was in or not Notre Dame just had their field goal blocked and this could go back a way oh my goodness oh my goodness oh my goodness no so they're saying he's down at the one yard line or so which I initially thought he was so I will not terribly surprised I think he's down which is not bad because it means we can drain a little more clock before we uh score but we have to actually score second and goal drop back to pass throws it back corner of the end zone caught touchdown that's Boston kind of feel bad for Coleman not getting the touchdown down there but he'll score plenty of touchdowns this year so 24 seconds left extra point away for making it 21 to6 and a lot of that stress I was feeling in the first 20 minutes of the game kind of melting away not a big deal no more I will be taking a little break at the half I will be stepping away putting up the bght back screen running some ads so everyone just hang around hang out I will be back for the third quarter like always but that was a really good 10-minute sequence there by the Washington Huskies [Music] okay so I don't imagine Eastern Michigan is going to try anything here and that's a Touchback e that's going to be a running play and that's going to be a tackle for a loss of two and I imagine that'll be the last play of this first half okay so took a while for us to get going there that was a little bit frustrating little bit annoying a little bit concerning but the offense is woken up the defense is making some plays and Washington is now up by two scores with all the momentum in the world so I'll be seeing you guys in down over the middle caught first down but the flag came out could be off sides I guess I don't if it was he'd probably throw it deep could be illegal formation illegal formation on the offense bring ranked ahead of Washington though snap drops back and he's going to get sacked he's going to get sacked offensive line collapsed and the pass rush is eating pretty good today the run defense I'm not wins 30 to9 at home they start the season 2 and 0 not necessarily something that we're super proud of but it was overall a pretty decent game can you tell us about this Boston guy with all the touchdowns I mean I don't know what to say about him other than that is exciting he is good and we needed good receivers this year with the guys we lost I don't have a ton to say about him yet but from the little bit that we've seen I'd say we're pretty excited [Music] okay so that'll do it folks uh I'm going to go ahead and record the post game like I always do test okay we are recording in three two one all right um kind of uh kind of in line with last week right kind of the same idea where the game starts slow game starts sluggish team comes out a little bit flat underwhelming and you're you're wandering for a little bit there it actually looks like you're in a little bit of danger sorry about my dogs up there but um by the end of the game they find their groove okay I'm going to re-record that when my dogs aren't losing their mind at the exact moment I hit record hold on one second okay I think we're good all right everybody um pretty much in line with last week right same idea same basic concept where you have a game where your team starts out slow starts out sluggish you're not terribly happy with what you're seeing and you're even maybe a little bit worried there going into that second quarter you're wondering if maybe the team is just going to have a one really bad year after The Exodus last season and you're like okay it's not the most shocking thing in the world but at the same time you know that the team should be a little bit better than that and that first quarter Plus maybe the first few minutes of the second quarter you're watching uh Eastern Michigan dominate the line of scrimmage you're watching Eastern Michigan run the ball all over you when that should have been the big focus in practice this week because you kind of got run over by um Weber State last week and you knew you probably knew that Eastern Michigan was going to try to run the ball a lot you're watching this offense not pushing the ball down the field at all it almost looks like they can't do it you watch them run little three yard routes on Third and six that don't go anywhere you're watching them just Punt and Punt and punt you're watching a blocked punt and you're like yeah they're they're just not there they're just not there right now and then finally they wake up they realize wait a minute we are still a much better team than Eastern Michigan and they take care of it for the rest of the way so 30 to9 and and I mean honestly not covering the spread mostly came down to like that that fumble in the Red Zone near the end with demon Williams he if he doesn't completely screw that play up and decide to play it you know full contact the way that he did we probably get in the end zone there we probably cover the spread so you know split the difference there that doesn't really matter to me and it shouldn't really matter to anybody unless you did bet on the game if you did um I'm sorry or you're welcome I guess but the thing that matters once we got past that initial four I think it was like the first four drives where things just didn't really make a lot of sense the play calling the play design the play of the players Will Rogers looked really really good he was hitting every throw he made as this game went on including the ones he tried to push down field they were able to find some success on the ground not as much as you would like but the ground game started to click in offensive line definitely improved as this game went on and you came out of this game feeling like this team should be able to score enough points to win more than they lose this year or at least about as much as they lose this year so this team didn't lose or no what I should say is this team didn't diminish in what they had at the receiver spot and tight end spot as much as I thought they did like it's not great it's not as good as it was last year but Boston that guy has a lot of intriguing talent I like what I'm seeing from Boston right now um I I I think the uh obviously the uh Coleman Coleman kid we've already talked about him we know what's going on there he's making me not really miss Dylan Johnson at all you have Decker at tight end he might be better than both the tight ends we had last year because both those guys were so undersized Decker is a bigger guy who is also a big- Time downfield threat really like what I'm seing from him and I I don't think this team can hang with the better teams in this league but I think this offense is enough to allow us to take care of business against teams like this and I wasn't sure about that at first I suspected it was probably true but but I didn't get the sense that this team would be able to rack up the 30 plus point games they would need to feel good about a game against a team like Eastern Michigan so I'm pretty pretty enthused about what I'm seeing from this offense right now pretty enthused with what I'm seeing from quarterback play Will Rogers is exactly what I expected yes I would have preferred one or two other players I would have preferred to get Riley Leonard I would have preferred to get Arch man even I would have preferred to get Cam Ward but Will Rogers is exactly as advertised he makes the plays he needs to make he's very accurate he's very smart um early in this game he had a couple plays that looked bad like that Miss on Third and short where honestly I I I don't know it just kind of looked like he he um thought that the tight end was going to keep running he had the play where he slipped and fell down coming out of his play action I'm so happy that he got it together by the end of this game because I don't want to say bad things about him because I know how good he is right I I mean sitting here and trying to say that Will Rogers is no good like there's mounds and mounds of evidence that he's a really good Collegiate quarterback so okay I'm pretty uh pretty happy with that side of the ball the defense I mean we're going to have a problem with these teams that can run the ball at an elite level because we cannot stop the run even against these teams all that well for a lot of this game early on when the score was close enough for them to be able to do it Eastern Michigan could kind of impose their will on on this rushing attack they threw a lot of things at us and we couldn't really handle it so I'm worried about that that's going to be a big problem when we play teams like Michigan because I know people are looking at Michigan today and they're kind of saying like oh Michigan's no good maybe Washington could beat them but the what I saw today they would just run the ball on us and I don't know if we could do anything to stop it I think it'd be too much to ask so I'm not really buying that by the way Notre Dame kicking a 63 yard game-winning field goal here oh not even close Okay um I'm worried about that I will say this pass rush fed amilies today I was very happy with the pass rush we we saw it on three man pressures four man pressures blitzes we threw some exotic stuff at Eastern Michigan and whatever we did seemed to work we had like five or six sacks in this game once we forced Eastern Michigan to have to throw the ball a lot I was very happy with all the quarterback pressure we were getting so that part of this game absolutely awesome I love the play of our corners and safeties as well well um they they make plays on the ball they stick really tight in coverage and I was really concerned that losing Muhammad this off season to Oregon would be a killer but it really hasn't been any kind of a problem yet now I know we're going to play better teams but these cornerbacks are hanging with these receivers really well so kudos to them and uh I think that's most of what you can say about a game like this you don't really prove it much in a game like this it's uh it's a good enough win it's not a great win you definitely put some concern in people's minds with the way that first I'd say 20 minutes went but It ultimately does look like a team that is good enough to beat the teams they're supposed to beat and they're probably not good enough to beat the teams they're not supposed to beat if that makes sense so um as advertised right I I think that's what you have to say about it it's pretty much as advertised so I'm going to go and get out of here probably another video later today and yeah you're going to be uh you're you're going to be locking down for NFL football action starting tomorrow probably I know there are more college games tonight but a lot of them are not super compelling but uh bow down to Washington we go to to 2 and 0 let's keep this up let's build some wins early because wins are going to be hard to come by later in the season I'm just
