Lainey Wilson's Whirlwind Album, Country's Cool Again Tour, & Grammy Museum Performance Review!

L up I [Music] got know hey everyone welcome back to my channel so recently The Talented Laney Wilson released her new album Whirlwind Lany Wilson released her first fulllength album back in 2014 and her music has steadily gained popularity over the past DEC her songwriting expertise and vocal charm earned her the CMA Entertainer of the Year award and also recognition from the grand old opery outside of her musical career she expanded her Artistic Endeavors when she appeared in a reoccurring role on the modern Western Yellowstone this list of accolades led her to craft her most recently released album Whirlwind which features the catchy matchup of rock classic country and stall music music which she dubs bell bottom country through the album Whirlwind Wilson Builds on this unique genre of music conveying a variety of moods and emotions through poetic storytelling and honest narratives this Louisiana natives endearing vocal tenacity and zest evokes a sense of trust warmth and resilience that captivates the listeners wilon recounts Nostalgia and bewilderment through the puppy joyous song country's cool again which is a playful pop influence tune detailing country westerns cultures influenced in today's society Wilson sings everybody want to be a cowboy drive a John Boat with a John Deere everybody want a backwoods front porch with a tub full of iced Down Beer must be something in the water flowing out in the holler Blue Collar must have caught a new wind countries Co again in this song she also recounts how her style and Southern draw used to negatively stick out in cities that she visited and how she's noticed the change storytelling and Keen observations are showcased in the melancholic whiskey colored crayon and upbeat adventurous song hang tight honey her ability to pair poetic lyrics with dreamy Melodies is showcased in the gorgeous Breezy good horses which features Miranda Lambert the two saying I don't need a map I don't need a road I don't need a fence I just need to roam if you want to love me you don't need a rope you just need to know good horses come home meanwhile this lyrical genius is Roven together with the classical country vibe in the emotional broken heart still beat and in the playful string plucking love song counting chickens the love anthems like the fervent call Cowboy passionate 4x4 by you and nostalgic Whirlwind are also memorable additions to this album The empowering ring finger is a dedication to those women who ditched those men who treated them horribly terribly wrong each song in this album is very captivating and unique establishing ly Wilson as a powerful vocalist and songwriter Whirlwind is suited for the repeat button parties bars and will definitely leave an impact on an audience I give this album five out of five stars so after the release of rwind I was given the opportunity to see Lany Wilson perform live at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles and it was definitely a very memorable performance the concert and Q&A session was actually held in the rooftop Terrace of the Grammy Museum and the Terrace is called the Ray Charles Terrace this quaint venue has a beautiful view of the city at Sunset and a variety of seating options and the tickets are considered general admission so when I first arrived at the venue I inquired about where the Ada section was located um the staff member I first spoke with actually wasn't sure about where the Ada seating was located in the venue so she escorted me to a another employee and she asked that employee about where the Ada section was and he didn't really seem to know either so we ended up radioing someone and um they ended up removing a couple seats in the third row to make room for my wheelchair um and like during the Q&A session basically Al my view was the same as everyone else's um but then as soon as the music Started everyone outside of like the center of the first row stood up so at that point I wasn't able to see anything uh so since there are like a variety of seating options and is general admission so none of the seating is assigned I just ended up moving myself over to where these like open benches were that frame the Planters to like the left of the stage so it' be house left and the view from that area was great so I really should have just sat myself there to begin with but whatever it all worked out so it doesn't really matter um but yeah I'm not really sure if this venue actually has a dedicated Ada section or since all of the seats are removable you can just kind of seat yourself and just move a chair if you need um yeah but they they have high top tables low top tables uh they have benches that surround these Planters they have folding chairs so there's a variety of seating options there's also a cash bar so if you would like some refreshments or snacks that's also available while you're there and there are also accessible multi-stall restrooms on the same floor as the Ray Charles Terrace and there is a family single use restroom in the lobby gift shop so if you need that that is also available as well and both types of restrooms are uh ad compliant and accessible during the Q&A session leny Wilson answer questions about her writing process career artistic influences and mentors and she performed for about a half an hour it was a wonderful performance abundant with energetic bold Sensational vocals and fervent instrumentals Lany has a captivating presence and integrates all of the band members into her performance her wit humor and charm radiated from the stage captivating each audience member through her intuitive lyric delivery and compelling musical narrative and delightful anecdotes she seamlessly transitioned from one song to the next leaving the audience with a night to remember Lany Wilson is currently on her North American tour country school again with Jackson Dean Ian munik and Zack top opening each show so grab some tickets while they
