commanders lost a game on Sunday but nevertheless um we still have one glaring problem that we always been having since last year and it's kicking um we got a new kicker over the training camp especially with um um Joey Sly got cut we brought in K York K York supposed to be the answer nah he wasn't he missed two field goals in the Tampa game where we could have probably had 26 points probably could have made some significant Dent into the score or whatever the case may be but that's a story for another day because the defense continues to let us down but nevertheless the Washington commanders decided to cut bait with K York and bring in um CBR now CBR and trese has a relationship and Sebert he um if you don't know who cirt is he played for the Browns he also played for I think another team not too V I think the Jets also but this is his resume right here cber he play for the Browns his career stats he's 45 for 56 total field goal percentage that's 80% not bad um he's 20 for 20 from 30 30 to 39 he's 17 for 24 from 40 49 that's an issue because if you trying to kick between 40 or 45 Y and you only seven for 24 well I mean you only you only miss seven but still and he's two for six from 50 plus that's not great because when you got Ary over there in in Dallas that's kicking 60 yards you need a a field goal kicker that could kick at least past 50 yards now his longest was 53 and his extra points he's was he's um 56 for 62 so that means he missed six extra points he's 90% for that to me all of this is I think it's all of this is to me is a tail of the tape um we going to evaluate the situation maybe he could give us something in the Giants game who knows but if he misses two field goals in the Giants game guess what's gonna happen he's gonna get cut we're gonna bring in somebody else until we finally fix that problem the Special Teams is crucial because if you're playing a tight game and you missing field goals like that that that that's where you win and lose games at so and for K York to miss two field goals last week is unacceptable like I said I don't have no faith in the kicking kicking game at all until I see somebody hit field goals on the consistent Basin week in and week out not just one game then next game he missing two field goals hell the game could be on the line he missing a game winner you know he missing one in the game and then a game winner you know so like I said trese loves the move because cbrt and trese played at Oklahoma or for the sunas now in college CBR scored 449 points in college and NCA record all time the Browns used their fifth round pick on CRA in a 2019 draft while um while trese went UND drafted and signed with the Washington commanders and being released by the beers in 2014 now York like I said York missed two field goals um against Tampa Bay now York also aired um sending a kickoff out of bounds which that gave gave um the dog on um BR I mean bucks good field position so but also now with us cutting K York that means doing conditional picks for um for the other team they don't get that they don't get it at all now they said that um some fans record CRA kicking for the Jets in pre-season in a preseason opener um he has played in 31 games five NFL season like I said he's 80 80.4% of 50 56 field goal attempts and 93 on extra points so I just read y to earlier Dan Quinn said he thinks his um really goals to show we have really high standard and that kind of where we where we at to say he said hey we knocking back off all of off all off of this no not one time to keep attacking and finding ways to get better now Sebert also been around the NFL block a couple of times like I said he played for the Browns from 2019 to 20 the Bengals 2020 Lions 2021 22 and the Jon 2023 so with that being said now I just hope that he could be consistent that's all I want I rather him to be consistent get everything on the Ws and we could get uh um so special teams play last year we had problems with the Long Snapper with Cheeseman you know I'm saying now and we still had problems with the kick game last year with um oh oh gosh I just called his name a few minutes ago oh man N/A um damn Joey slide so I mean and then with on top of everything else we having trouble with the defensive backs the secondary giving up yards again um getting burned for two touchdowns so there's a lot to be desire and I I I'm G say this to say and before I go into the next um who else we have picked up right now as a commander fan my expectation for this team is just to see this team grow and to team this see this team get better I don't I have heard heard people tell me that they're not gonna support the team because we got rid of Sam H how I think that's kind of you know if you're a fan of the team regardless if you was a resing commander football team whatever if you're a fan of the team you fan of the team regardless we not been through worse with this team for 30 years and people just sit here and think that Adam Peters and Dan Quinn supposed to turn milk into um milk um milk into honey it doesn't work that way people want instant success but at the same time you don't want to go through the process it doesn't happen that way Greatful be grateful that we got Jay and D be grateful that we are in a position to still add pieces to the puzzle this is not gonna happen in year one you know braon R this up for four years it's going to take almost about that time to get right you know we want to win games yeah but at the same time it's kind of eyes eyes saw to watch this team struggle you know but you know my expectations is for this team is to wait to see just watch the games see what the teams still need Improvement on and be thankful for some of the pieces we got I mean that's just the way it is I I mean like I said y' y'all sometime command Washington fans y'all conv miss me with all of that but anyway on Tuesday the Austin Seibert Signed as Kicker commanders also added a rookie offensive tackle aming dawa to the practice squad the 6 fo8 353 pound tackle was the first team all ma tackle on while playing at Harvard University initially dwor was an undrafted free agent of Philadelphia Eagles so we should still trying to find more depth for the offensive line because you got to look at it we need a good running game our running game is not where it at I mean thankful Jaylen jayen and Daniels ran out the pocket because that's the only C cut but when T sorry when teens stack the Box against him how are we going to like I said this his first NFL game he missed some passes he missed a bomb the Terry uh I'm sure all of that's going to get corrected they gonna get on the same page like game this game against the Giants will be a great game to just have explosive offense offense you know the defense playing well the Giants don't even look good at all but damn I sure don't want Danny dimes running all over like he has done in
