hot start for Salisbury even looking at your coach's box or players box they're just you know they're so far away from where the players are yeah there's a nice one two hijikata doing some good work intercepting that much more manageable for the players yeah this would be a it'll be interesting to see if you know the if uh those aggressive Natures will pay off in the end does you know has had an incredible incredible career that was a good cover yeah not much happening on the return Yes Salsbury getting involved you know 40 60 serving volley somewhere around there just to kind of change give a change of pace for you know when we were playing against our opponents yeah there's the Ser of volley but the first volley wasn't good [Applause] enough now there's [Music] R you know this probably goes without saying but Mike and Bob were maybe the most incredible team to you know basically have any non-verbal Communications with one another they I feel like rarely ever spoke on the court and they knew exactly where they were at any given that's a strong return Straight Ahead ball hitting there early to kind of go to the strength to open up the weakness on the backhand side but it's uh it's going rajiv's way at the moment [Applause] wow that's incredible last pool and hij stole that point reie and Joe on that one to lose that point but sometimes your opponents just you know find a way to hit something that's too good and you know over the the course of a match that's the second second serve Point they've won and both have come on break points so not sure they want to uh keep playing with fire and go go it's out they followed the flight of that volley it landed just over the Baseline spots in the third round on the line for one of these pairs Salsbury says the overhead is one of his favorite shots he doesn't miss it too often put that away with a backhand angle oh yes excellent return R thir trying to get the initiative in the second set oh yes again and they've come to life it was a disappointing opening set but that's a very positive start two sets didn't matter if you had if you lost the first or second whatever may be so they know there's still a long way to go in these matches if they just keep kind of putting their best foot forward bringing that energy bringing that passion that these guys have and uh you know it shows off here early in the second set yeah nice move oh come on that was not an easy ball that's a good looking ball are you surprised at glasspool serving having lost his serve a couple times already um you know not not that surprising sometimes you get into a rhythm truly an [Applause] accomplishment he's putting on the show now he's just showing off talking about Pete sanus that was the leaping smash to kind of put away and put themselves in a defensive position and maybe you can see why they had glass Sur another beautiful return there by reie just outd Ram right on top of the net Boyd is a he's a big boy on yeah wonderful point they outlasted him has made such a huge difference in the longevity of these guys careers he lived in California and now he is working with Alex mikkelson was with Madison Keys forever he was somebody that helped you know really transform my early part of my career off the court the men's side oh yes great work for me I had guys kind of the John nners Kevin Anderson s De Deans kind of pave you know the the class you know going from college to the pro level and now watching all the a lot of these guys do it from the both men and women side [Applause] oh what a point Salsbury that was money you know five out of six in this game just to make sure to keep that momentum and not let rinky and Lloyd get a look at second Ser what a return that was a a first ball 15 l oh yes they're fired up good things to win both points and here we are at one all couple of great Ballers there from rinky good stretch on the back handing oh right on top of the ne s Al hiji kind of ran around the back hand made pretty good good contact but he left some space there Ram serving there another great reflex volley you have got to be kidding another and there it is a fabulous tie break and Salsbury now they keep their campaign for a fourth consecutive US Open alive into the third round
