Co top thanks so much it's from of course the Philippines it's amazing yes it's our local flowers love it yeah you thank you so much portion with the castem Andis Emily Lily before I forget Merry Christmas from the Philippines is like a local shell capis from the Philippines and you know why because in the Philippines we celebrate Christmas starting September I kid you not everything is lit up and you can you can start timely for part two okay Emily and Paris new season character development Emily Li character development her development I'm proud of Emily I think that she's become like like um like in episode I think it's three with being comfortable living in the gray area you know I think it's she's always choosing between one thing or the other whereas she's not seeing the in between as a choice and I think it's really amazing to be okay not knowing and Emily becomes okay just existing and not always having to have everything figured out and she's more vulnerable this year so I'm proud that she's able to feel all the feelings and still feel strong doesn't make you weak it just makes you more vulnerable and stronger why Rome why Rome um well I think the five episodes explain why we're going to Rome but um but it's an amazing place in Europe that that Darren wanted us to be able to come and explore and it's a fashion capital and it's you know it makes sense that Emily would come here oh my gosh and what are the challenges of producing and acting in a show about escapism uh well I think that you know wearing multiple hats while you're also on screen can times be uh not confusing but my mind is working 100 miles an hour I'm like wait this oh wait this oh this oh I can I see like so I'm having to constantly just like focus on one thing at a time um but I think it's it's amazing that our show has provided people a sense of escapism and um and optimism and uh just laughter and joy so to be a part of that as an actor and a producer is a gift and I'm so grateful for that Honesty because it's so just so pretty to watch that I I me too cuz I'm a journalist and at the same time I'm an audience part of the audience and I was thinking it seems like it's so challenging to produce a beautiful show that's so well balanced like I feel like I'm touring Rome and Paris at the same time and it's just so we feel like we're also part of family in Paris the thing that Ashley coined so how how has the relationship onset evolved with all the actors from season one all we were all close season one we got close very quickly but of course 5 years later Four Seasons you know each other so much better you know how each other works you know how to make each other laugh and you've traveled more you know we've gotten to travel a lot with this show in France and now Rome and other parts of Italy so we are like a family um and we also spend time together when we're not on set so it's it's really nice to come back to work at the end of um of day and be able to have these amazing M moments and memories that aren't on camera as well I think that's a joy right to have like your colleagues as your real friends already I mean that doesn't happen a lot I mean very lucky because you're just in and out of work and also I just want to ask what's your judgment about Emily's character in season 4 character development her development I'm proud of Emily I think that she's become like like um like in episode I think it's three with being comfortable living in the gray area you know I think it's she's always choosing between one thing or the other whereas she's not seeing the inet as a choice and I think it's really amazing to be okay not knowing and Emily becomes okay just existing and not always having to have everything figured out and she's more vulnerable this year so I'm proud that she's able to feel all the feelings and still feel strong like you being vulnerable doesn't make you weak it just makes you more vulnerable and stronger so I'm I'm happy about I I love that representation of a woman on screen because of course we're always looking at you know women know they should have everything figured out they have to be powerful Etc but then also you have Ashley who's going through I mean Mindy was going through a lot as a female in the show and Sylvie yeah I was just really um supportive of course of of of a woman's story line where something comes back from her past effects her present that she thought she was you know through or had worked on and how does she navigate that and I and I loved what Sylvie does and how Philippine handled it and so I just love that our show gets to talk about important things as well as provide a sense of escapism and have that balance and yeah in different Generations as well women right Lily thank you so much for this fantastic time thank you [Applause]
