JD Vance just absolutely gave a master class on how to deal with the lying deceitful fake news media this time it was in CNN it was a reaction to a moment in the debate last night where the the reports coming out of citizens in Springfield Ohio are not true watch I would say is he brought up this misleading false claim that you yourself have talked about in recent days about Haitian immigrants in Springfield Ohio abducting people's pets and eating them which officials there have said is not true you yourself acknowledged it may be false on Twitter he still told people to to keep spreading it but Trump just Amplified it to tens of millions of people who were watching why push something that's not true well first of all City officials have not said it's not true through they said they don't have all the evidence but we heard no we've heard from a number of constituents on the ground Caitlyn who both firsthand and secondhand reports saying this stuff is happening so they very clearly meaning the people on the ground dealing with this think that it is happening and I think that it's important for journalists to actually get on the ground and uncover this stuff for themselves when you have a lot of people saying my pets are being abducted or geese at the city pond are being abducted and slaughtered right in front of us this is crazy stuff and again whether those exact rumors turn out to be mostly true somewhat true whatever the case may be Kaitlin this town has been ravaged by 20,000 migrants coming in health care costs are up housing costs are up Caitlyn conas didn't challenge anybody about their stories yesterday are we supposed to make funny memes about those poor women are we supposed to make funny memes about the children who don't have a but this is what they decide to focus on this is what they care about and that's why the duck and kitty cat mes are so effective and so important because the coming because they're scared they're scared because they know they're on the wrong side of the story and it's going to continue to get worse for them as they try to avoid it that's why there were no questions about it that was I why there was no focus on it and that's why it takes this kind of story this kind of of Internet Insanity to actually get people's attention and focus on how horrific life is in the middle of our country
