Dodgers DFA Jason Heyward, This Is a Dumb Move

so I didn't cover this earlier in the week when it happened but Jason Hayward is the man that they have chosen to the Dodgers okay here we go the Dodgers have chosen to um DFA there was a couple things look Jason Hayward I don't believe was gonna make it in on the uh roster okay on the postseason roster it's just period I knew it however they they had a few scenarios here they could go with getting rid of Kier Meer they've already DFA ahed Rosario which is stupid but if I was Kier Meer I would not take that lying down number two number two and this is the big this is the big one um they they let Hayward go to have Chris Taylor activated and you could say oh Chris Taylor you know he's come up clutch he was doing pretty good before he went down he did this that and the other I just don't agree with this move I I Chris Taylor has not been great especially April and May he was okay late May early June he was out for most of this July and August and now he comes back and and I just don't trust Chris Taylor anymore he's I don't know that he's the Chris Taylor of old he's always been a shaky player sure but I mean it's it's just insane how they made this move and again if they would have DFA Chris Taylor they couldn't because he has two more years of of Team control you got to pay them that salary they would have eaten that salary they ate Trevor Bowers essentially so why not they did it on purpose this is bad this is bad but it's also really sad for Jason Hayward it is sad for Jason Hayward and Freddy Freeman who is his best friend said look he hasn't really talked to me I've talked to him three times he's not talking to anyone imagine getting fired and then having to put up with that like having to go through that emotion yeah he's right and I think this is just another way to say the Dodgers front off office messed up here I would have I out would have like oh um you know what Jason Hayward is feeling something now you can't the Mets got in trouble for faking medical injuries and all that for roster positions and all that I would have just IE out him I would have just done that I would have sent him down whatever so he's now no longer a Dodger and I think that's terrible now he was bad that one home run was not going to help we covered it on Monday it just wasn't going to help it just wasn't but it doesn't matter that was just I I feel for Jason Hayward I do and I can't imagine how he's feeling but I would have at least kept him around because he does have that veteran respect that leadership respect all of that and it's just unfortunate that the Dodgers had to go down this route I wouldn't have brought up Chris Taylor I would have kept him on the iil I would have kept Jason Hayward on the 15-day iil now they're going to be bringing a punch fuia and possibly Dalton rushing and all these guys and they're going to try and see who they bring up in the postseason because roster spots are going down right now then they're going to go back up and then go back down for the playoffs it it's and then I think they'll go up or whatever I'm not happy with this move not that I thought Jason Hayward would make it on the postseason roster but I'm not happy that they DFA him I'm just not I I honestly thought they could keep him around the team and and he could have been a good Mentor for a lot of people in the postseason where he's been so Dodgers DFA Jason Hayward designate for assignment so they could have sent him down but instead no he's he's not he's now a free agent so someone could claim him of waivers or whatever I don't think it's gonna happen his stats don't show up well enough for to go okay yeah and he had that back tightness that back strain whatever look I love Jason Hayward he was a great platoon hitter last year he hit 15 home runs was okay this time around but yeah Jason Hayward DFA by the Dodgers not a great move honestly and I don't like Chris Taylor coming back either but let me know what y'all think because I'm just not in it
