sent Stefan Bic on loan over to salsburg in the hope that he comes good comes back and solves the number six position in the future now you might argue that there's nothing wrong with that and in some context fair enough but it's another year that goes by another season that goes by but we're having to hope that things go right rather than doing our best to make sure that things go right we have to once again hope we don't pick up injuries at Center back because right now na Phillips could be closing and alone to Derby which would mean we have four fit senior center backs one of whom we don't usually even play at Center back anymore in Joe Gomez as he plays in a fullback position so how have we strengthened how are we in a better position than when we went into this window we've gotten rid of Seth Vandenburg who could have been a fifth option and in itself that deal is very good business we've gotten rid of n Phillips if he goes on loan he's already gone so it's done so now we've got four Canady is injury-prone to say the least Virgil has had a very good year Quanza is a young inexperienced Center back making his way and Joe Gomez we don't even play at Center back half the time when he's available so how have we strengthened how have we improved in this window we haven't we've once again been manipulated into believing that there is some master plan that us ticko can't comprehend I don't have another season to just continue to waste away watching others pick up trophies well we hope that our youngsters that are gone out on L develop and hope that after that that they aren't just sold like Bobby Clark who was another promising youngster who we were told Liverpool had a bright future for now he's over at Red Bull salsburg as a salsburg player permanently make that make sense Harry Klein how are you Harry said praying Edwards has master class that for Bic yes we all honestly hope Bic does really well of course we did but I can't help but feel that they're about Endo but I will absolutely tell you without any hesitation that arnest slot doesn't rate Endo in that position that ARA slot doesn't think he's good enough to play week in and week out or he'd important player for us but only if he gets playing time now he could have playing time over here but we've got six or seven very good midfielders so his playing time here will always be more limited than we expect him to play at salsburg so for him and us we think it's best for him to play at the moment instead of maybe playing a few times and then being on the bench for a long time again it's very difficult to keep a player fit who's been out for 15 months when you can only play him once in a while so this is for the long term again this club has been Smart in my opinion for not only looking for the shorter term but also for the longer term it's a smart decision at least in our opinion to let him go somewhere where he will hopefully play a lot of games then for next season we'll have a player if he fulfills his potential could definitely definitely play for us in the future so let me unpack a little bit of that I agree with many of the points aror slot made I agree about that being a good low move for Stefan I agree about him needing game time for his development and him not being probably able to get enough of that here I have no problems with that but it feels very much into the player we hope that he can become a lot of Hope and Faith down there and another season without that number six so look I also hope he does well but I feel like we're already getting prepared he's the new six it's already written I believe that as well I I believe exactly that
