players for this matchup Chris well Gus I've got my eyes on the two quarterbacks in this one I had a chance to talk to both of these guys obviously guys that have experience in this situation they've been here before and yet it's always so interesting you can see a different look in their eyes when they're warming up you know that they know the significance of these matchups and it just adds another level of excitement to the football game when you're talking about this kind of Talent on the field this should be a really good one I know you're excited I'm excited let's get it going interesting Chris great story line here today and we'll follow that story line as this game moves [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] on we do let's [Applause] go run Wi on three 1 2 3 go Green Bay is just about ready to kick this one away Lawson is deep looking to return the kickoff he's hit and dropped at the 24 yd line the key here is to hurry the quarterback and force him to make a bad throw here's the pass they can't complete the pass and now the offense will be looking at second [Applause] down 3 they'll give it off here a pick up of five that brings up third down make sure ready to knock it down goes through his progression the pass is tipped and it'll be fourth down following the pass deflection and those are the kind of big third down plays you have to have on defense leaps it's caught wow flips it out short it's complete he's going to go down almost immediately though here's a halfback not really sure about that call I know the coaches in this league are getting a lot more aggressive going forward on fourth down but I don't know why they kept the offense out there that time nice gain of nine yds second down just leaning don't let it happened he lost yardage on the [Applause] play he can create some problems for you but just no space to be found there well when you have a talented running back like this you always have to account for him that time a nice playaction Pass open it up down the field short pass to his left he gets knocked out of Bounds at the 34 everything seemed to work perfectly on that one and that's a pattern that this team likes to run you know they've been studying that all week on film and yet they still can't stop it looks left here's a short pass knocked out of Bounds at the 16 yd line has a man to his right little flip and always find it surprising that tight ends typically don't get drafted very high but when you think about the skill set they have to be able to block like a tackle and catch like a wide receiver has a man short to his left touchdown Packers the Packers started at their own 35 and used seven plays to get into the end zone dumps it out right he's wrestled down at the 29 yd [Applause] line he fights forward to about the 33 if they pass it short do not let their receiver make it to the first down marker looking for a man brings it in for a completion Cooper picks up maybe seven with that catch let's hope we force a bad decision and the guys that are Dro moves to his right and the tackle was made by Collins receivers who can make plays like that on third down tend to have nice long [Applause] [Music] careers flips out short the stop was made by jains just keeps the ball moving down the field 6yd gain and uh little progress let's put a lick on them now and show them that this is not an option and the snap goes right to the back hold on there is a flag down holding offense and will'll replay third down in heavy traffic tremendous effort and good teamwork by the Packers you know sometimes it just takes one good block to create a seam to get one up the field float it to your running back so he can follow you flips it out short to his left he's brought down seven they pass it short do not let their receiver make it to the first down he gets off the throw and he's tackled at the 48 yd line box and stop him for a loss here inside handoffs he makes his way to about the 35 him to make a bad throw passes short right side he's dropped down at the 25 how about that pass yeah it's pretty tough to play a Zone coverage against this quarterback he does a great job in recognition and that time you could see him move the zone defense just a little with his eyes before he threw it in there quarterback isn't trying to play fake and burn us out of this run formation hands it to the back he's brought down at the 10 nothing makes a defensive coordinator cringe more than seeing that kind of run because then it sets up the play action him up before he takes it for a big game again with the carry gets five on the run and now it's third down going for the End Zone he's got it touchdown the Eagles cap off the very impressive nine-play drive by getting in for six when a guy has a special receiver like this guy he knows throwing it into the Zone usually they're going to be smaller spaces you're going to have to count on the guy making a great catch and who better at it than he [Music] [Applause] is and he gets the ball at the five fumble on the play and we have a flag on the play personal flipping on the receiving team [Applause] wide receiver is going to run a deep Corner route you're in the shotgun to give him time if he's open hit him watch him run he lets it go he's tackled at the 20yd line the Packers get another good Gainer that time this offense is finding early success he found some daylight Ryan Grant was originally traded from the Giants to the Packers for a sixth round pick that certainly sounds like a steal today goes through his progression looks to throw it pulls it in first down and he's knocked out of bounds still looking for an open man this quarterback's a good athlete no question about it when he drops back to throw you had better account for his ability to run the football are you going to give up a first down like they just did here's the throw and he's tackled at the eight and there you see just a the 43 yd line injury time out there's an eagles player down and this is not looking good get deep on the streak route and then FL it passes it short Nate Allen was there to bring him down yeah that's one if you study this team on tape you're going to see them go to that in the clutch and it worked again Tiger Tiger looks left here's a short pass back to the line but nothing more Ty Ty Ty he's going to throw it he's brought down at the 31 Jennings with his fifth grab of the game see if we can flip it out on the screen to move the chains short pass to his left the Eagles will take a time out that is their second of the half [Music] gets the pass off well that decision certainly backfired the defense was ready and now it goes back to their offense never know what kind of impact that's they keep possession checks down to the short pass he's brought down at the 48 yd line under heavy pressure nice call by the defensive coordinator there had the Blitz passes it [Applause] downfield is this a first down well here comes the measurement he got it that's a first down they hand it off again you know listen I would never want to block they'll work the left side and I really like the discipline of this defense he gets off the throw Finley was the intended receiver to hit it from that distance or the kicker scared or he couldn't find his helmet or otherwise that doesn't make a lot gets off the throw touchdown Packers Rogers gets his third touchdown pass of the game [Applause] you know and typically that works for the offensive line because they're trying to simulate a pass set allow those guys to get into their Rush lanes and simply push them past the ball carer that time they pushed him right into the ball carer Rogers with the G he gains his way to the 40 yd line he lets it Go and he's tackled at the 48 yd line another run he's wrestled down at the 29 yd line Ryan Grant does as good a job as anybody out there if it's a small hole he finds a way to get through it if this off def is Builder around third down coming up after that incompletion blows their assignment we should be able to stop them good coverage downfield and the pass was knocked away at the last minute I don't know if that's the guy I want to pick on on third down when you have to have a conversion he is tough he'll get to about the 35 yd line they keep it on the ground with the tail back gains his way to the 46 yd line Rogers hands it off yeah sometimes you just have to admit defeat on a play as a running back and just try and get that thing back to the line of scrimmage they'll get the call Again Bradley has just been executing like he's holding a grudge he's now up to eight tackles for the game starting back at his own 15 and I have a feeling this one is coming back Lawson is bring up fourth down just terrific play by the defense they followed the quarterback's eyes made a quick jump on the ball and were all over that one so that will make the score the Packers 34 the Eagles 21 everything's a possibility here we've seen some strange things happen in the league sell it with his fourth catch of the game still alive and he's looking looking it could have been worse though there was only a one yd loss on the play good teamwork that time on the part of this defensive line the blockers just could not get the job done Jess gets it off he's dropped down at the 34 yd they find a short receiver here make sure our safety's abandon their Zone and get to the ball keep yourself alive for another play that catch puts him over a 100 yds receiving not much doubt as their Tom as to who this quarterback likes he found the guy that he's most comfortable with and he doesn't care which coverage you're in he's going to this guy let's show them nothing comes easy against this defense good coverage downfield and they get to it all right guys hurry up hurry up get to the line don't let him catch you offside body wash smell like a man man throw it over our linebacker to a receiver in the middle fires it in the end zone and that's a throw you just expect a professional quarterback to make to the end zone and the pass will fall incomplete fourth down coming up well at the end of the game you go back and you basically say what happened on third down and you have a pretty good indication of how that game came out good play by the defense looking for a man incomplete
