Deion and Colorado falling apart? Deion Sanders in Colorado postgame I don't have a lot of beef or you know negative reaction what he said again normally I said last year he normally he hits the right tone with me but not this off season not to begin the season and certainly not after what Nebraska did to them Dion says the Colorado buffalos just quote never got it together against Nebraska and I mean he's right and unfortunately that's going to be the case moving forward for the rest of the season because we got a taste of what Colorado actually is the offensive line not holding up saw that last year too he was asked directly in the postgame presser is a lot of what the issues that he sees playing out through the first couple of games here even though they've won the issues that he sees is it carry over in some of the same problems he had a year before he goes yes and no so he's acknowledging they hav't done enough to improve the roster for all of the hype for all of the chatter and all of the pretending quite frankly it's time to stop pretending that Colorado is one of these Premier programs because while they the red carpet program whenever the movie actually starts rolling it's not that entertaining it was a Beatdown Matt rules crew gave us the entertaining part of it uh instead Colorado's giving us shador were leaving with 2 minutes left Trey Wallace was had boots on the ground there in the tunnel um whenever he took off before the end of the game to get checked out give him the benefit of Doubt injuries happen Shiloh uh he left possible what broken forearm I believe um legit shador leaving early who knows but again questions like that always creep up you got Travis Hunter turning around and and talking with with his head coach those things happen you know complaining um eager to get more touches eager to be more part of the game pissed off because you're losing and things are being you know said on the sideline whatever but there's this energy that lacks when Colorado actually takes the field that is always there during the week and then again on postgame and the energy in the locker room was the question that Trey Wallace asked that the Sid didn't want Trey to ask but to his credit Dion after Trey told me he was holding up his hand for 10 minutes Deon took his question it was the final question of the presser postgame coach uh Trey Wallace without kicking the box in the locker room what what did you see from your leaders in the locker room maybe post game uh you know speaking up maybe the I don't really care what I see after a game I care what I see in the game leader leads in the game I don't want I hear no leader in the locker room leading and you get your butt kick I want to see you lead there because if you don't lead there they're not going to listen to you in there so I don't I could care less who's rallying them up at the end and leading the prayer and there at the end I don't care about that I want to who's leading us out there you know in the timeout who's getting together who's telling them run at you know uh when change of possession who's who's telling them to run back down field you know who's calling them up in the Huddle and and looking them in the eye and challenge them to do right when wrong is just present so so that's that's a leader not the locker room stuff that's ra ra it's ra ra during the week and who's leading him out there is coach Prime and I see 10 seconds running off the clock before a timeout is made there's a lot of lack of communication there's confusion and honestly there's a lack of poise it should be better the hype train is still there pretending is still there and it will continue but Colorado State's coming up this week I can't wait to watch that game either because at 0 and three things take a different turn than three and 0 Chad what' you see from Nebraska well we're only one day removed from Sun I want to talk about Coach Prime in Colorado we're only one day removed from Sunday so it's not too early in the week to get biblical and Deion Sanders is a man of faith and in fact and I I believe that about him and a matter of fact he threw someone out of his press conferences or said they can't ask questions because because that person challenged his faith so let's get biblical here this is Matthew 726 and 27 but everyone who hears these words of programs built on Solid Rock with their coaching staff and how they have to build we're going to talk about Northern Illinois a little bit later watch that coach's reaction to their win and tell me that's not a program that's built a lot on rock with the people that are involved Colorado is a program of sand that's their Foundation that's who they are that's what they continue to show Travis Hunter removing himself from the rest of his teammates and sitting on the bench by himself while everyone else huddles up and is talking about something different uh shador Sanders leaving the the game early everything about that program to me is a program built on Sand and they are about to crumble through that lack of foundation Hutton and I think Saturday night was the start of it well it's it's again I said pretending it's fiction Chad nearly went Pulp Fiction there with eel 25 Ezekiel 2517 um the path of the righteous man is beset on all sides what a great movie Travis Hunter could go sit by himself he's the best player going but the pro but you know he's the least of my concerns my concern is just they're running it back every week doing the same thing time to talk crap about Colorado State now and go about your UFC you know pregame hype fight well it's also again like you get there and run everybody off okay real quick everyone applauds at them because well these guys were two and 10 or whatever they were one and 11 and they're not good enough you have to have functioning bodies to build a program and guys that maybe actually wanted to be a part of the Colorado football program before coach Prime was there maybe that says something about their love of Colorado so he did it his way it worked in the very beginning a year ago and then to Hutton thing about running it back it's running it back again the next off season well weren't good enough so let's get rid of everyone let's bring a bunch of other guys in you cannot do that on the lines of scrimmage you cannot in major college football you will not win you will get bullied up front and rush for 37 yards or whatever they did against Nebraska Nebraska on the flip side H you ask me about them yeah that's a program being built on Rock that's Matt rule that's what he does everywhere he has been there has been a significant jump in year two Temple Baylor let's not talk about the Carolina Panthers but now Nebraska there is a significant jump in year two it's because he's willing to take lumps in the first year to set the foundation of how they're going to work how they're going to play who they're going to recruit and it's starting to show now for Nebraska I don't think they played great I mean you look at the total yards in the trenches again that's where you point it was close in total yardage riola was good 23 for 30 185 but shador Sanders 23 for 38 244 he was about the same honestly when you look at it statistically but the game wasn't close game wasn't close and they did nothing in the second half I mean if I'm going to nitpick Nebraska they were up 28 nothing or whatever at halftime and didn't score again but the game was over at that point because Colorado's got nothing left in the tank but I do like how Nebraska's being built and I've said it throughout the offseason 7 and0 before they play Ohio State and now that they cleared that Colorado hurdle yep they got a Friday night game I think at Illinois maybe that's actually in Lincoln uh other than that they should be 7-0 playing Ohio State so college football's better with a healthy Nebraska and I I think they're very healthy now under Matt rule are they some you know playoff Contender National Championship Contender Big 10 Contender I don't think so but they could be a sneaky team we're talking about at the tail end of the playoff by the end of the year because they've got two ranked opponents left USC and Ohio State and that's it Chad Tyreek Hill detained Tyreek Hill run-in with police pregame prior to the game yesterday against Jacksonville in Miami and I learned about this I flip on was CBS or Fox one I think maybe it was CBS and they do the live look-ins and Drew rosenhouse is being interviewed and I'm thinking oh who got the latest contract extension yeah you know he represents Tyreek Hill and he's sweating I mean it's humid down it's you know it's hard rock Stadium it's hot I what is going on because no one's warming up yet it's very early agents typically go in they have clients on both teams they'll go into the top games where all their clients are playing you know in this one they he's got some big ones and they're talking about Tyreek Hill being arrested prior to the game and that he's going to play that he's back and he's okay and I'm thinking what is what is this about um Tyreek it by the way he Rosell said he doesn't know why no we don't understand what happened here but you know we're going to move forward we're going to figure this out after the game so everyone then the discussion is about okay how does Tyreek Hill compartmentalize this and just play played very well by the way uh so so the Fallout Miami day police outside Hard Rock stadium um here's the the statement following the incident involving Tyreek Hill I've initiated an internal affairs investigation to ensure thorough review of the matter one of the officers involved in the incident has been placed on administrative duties while the investigation is conducted I'm committed to transparency and accountability to the community with any situation involving my officers this is the director of the Miami Dade Police Department um so here's the footage of it you can see just outside what a car by the way just outside the practice or excuse me the parking lot for the team Hard Rock stadium I mean this is uh craziness the lack of detail here so andas Campbell comes up and he's also putting cuffs do we have the latest uh guys from the Miami Police Department when they explained what their side of the story is on this I don't know if we have that statement but u i I've got the report right here uh Miami Dade came out after saying that you know they've they're initiating a an internal affairs investigation and ensure a thorough review of the matter all that stuff um here is their side of the story and I I I want to be fair to both sides here because you see that and you see that he wasn't arrested for anything but they gave him a couple citations and he was able to play in the game and immediately that visual will makes you think overzealous cop what's going on here it's Tyreek Hill on the way into the stadium this is Scotty Sheffer 2.0 right that that was my initial thought on it was this is Scotty Sheffer 2.0 y so Miami Dade uh said quote before the Dolphins game yesterday an incident occurred where Tyreek Hill was placed in handcuffs before being released first to be clear at no time was he ever under arrest he was briefly detained for officer safety after driving in a manner in which he was putting himself and others in great danger upon being stopped Mr Hill was not immediately Cooperative with the officers on scene who pursuant to policy and for their immediate safety placed Mr Hill in handcuffs Mr Hill still uncooperative refused to sit on the ground and was therefore redirected To The Ground by the officers once the situation was sorted out within a few minutes Mr Hill was issued two traffic citations and was free to leave they have placed the officer on administrative leave while they investigate the matter but at this time they believe the officers acted appropriately okay in in this matter so when I see the video there's more than one officer there also typically this is ingress egress around a stadium you're not it's not like it's not like there's a ton of traffic yet that early but there's traffic I don't know how look how I don't know how fast you can drive around the stadium having been there several times um I mean there is an F1 race around there but Chad this is um right outside Hard Rock and you it's you know who Tyreek Hill is you know who the players are based on the the cars they're driving to me just one officer three officers there's one dude who knows who Tyreek kill is right there and you're going to have him sit on the ground for what reason if it's just a traffic situation you see what I'm saying yeah I have so many questions about that I don't I who knows you think he's going to run away from you because he's so fast like I don't what what what does uncooperative mean when you stopped him I don't know I mean he did stop I do want to be fair to the cops because I don't know if he Tyreek Hill doesn't have a squeaky clean reputation let's put that out there also when it comes to issues of law allow him to pull in the parking lot and talk to him so I don't know like is he threatening the cops to let him go cuz he's got to get to the game or do you know who I am did he run into a cop it's having a bad day when he started saying things like that I I don't know but yeah watching the visual I immediately thought of Scotty sheffler I'm thinking he's probably going about the same routine he does on game day and some cop was trying to stop him from going to a certain area and he's waving the cop off and saying I'm Tyreek Hill and is going through and then he's got has words to the cops and he's put on the ground and then Tyreek Hill afterward had a lot to say too but I I don't h i until we know what Tyreek Hill did to be uncooperative what what does uncooperative mean did you get physical with a cop are you shouting at the cop immediately they said he was not sitting on the curb the way they requested so they had to put him on the ground why does he have to sit on the curb if he's already handcuffed I I don't understand any of that of it Smith jumped in with the same thought that you had about Scotty sheffler see to me though like yeah I st Smith also gets his States wrong didn't the Scotty Chef Lon happen in Louisville yes what is he say in the second one he says look for yourself This is BS totally unnecessary and by the way I know the Scotty sheffler incident was in Georgia not Florida and he was arrested detained booked I also know we don't know all the details blah blah blah but he wasn't fa down the ground and cuffs then forcibly set down again by officers a second time no this story isn't going away and it doesn't need to yeah it's it's bizarre here is Tyreek Hill post game um right now you know so I've been I've been trying to figure that out too I've been trying to figure that out too man right now I'm still trying to um put it all together um so I'm not going to give you um a version that I still don't know what happened you know what I'm saying um but I do want to say I do want to be able to use this platform to say like what if I wasn't Tyreek hill bro like worst case scenario you know cuz it's crazy like I want to be a cop one day I got a state troop I had all that you know so I got a lot of respect for cops man but um obviously you know everybody has bad apples in every situation you know so um I I want to be able to you know use this platform you know to figure out to figure out a way to like flip this and you know make it a positive on both ends on my end and then also Miami Dave you know so that way we can team together and you know do something positive for the community cuz that's what it's all about bro like um you guys are here to like protect us as individuals and you know I have a platform and I want to be able to team up with you guys so that's all I got to say what he did is talking on the field he bowled out as usual as Tyreek Hill does he says he wants to be cop someday cool uh he also said he wants to let his contract expire be a porn star uh he did have that to say too who knows Tyreek Hills can do whatever he wants to do and I you know I allow him to ask the questions that he wants to a lot of people are asking questions maybe we get some answers sooner rather than later bizarre way to start the season Chad let me also just say the obvious here and there's a lot of differences between Tyreek Hill and Scotty Sheffer and it's not just because one's black and one's white well to me it's recognizability there's a lot of differences between the way those two have behaved in the past and what they've said and what they do and what they stand for also I'm not saying that a cop is going to get all that in one Glimpse at somebody but I I don't I don't know that that's an Apples to Apples comparison to to Ste Tyreek phrase they're bad apples in every bunch I don't think this is the same thing we're talking about here I agree but also I do think it's an overreaction on both cases more than likely by the cop but I don't think it's the same thing as Stephen A Smith is saying okay I I I agree but in ENT m in athl in sport in Pro Sport especially um how you conduct yourself off the field normally doesn't affect how popular you are around you know the this the atmosphere that you're in meaning on Game Day right outside the stadium in this case he was right outside the golf course right yeah but everyone knows what Tyreek Hill I I think it's a what he does I would have to know with three dudes there you're going to have to explain more than just that statement if you're Miami dat cuz I need to know how he was driving recklessly and doing multiple things to endanger people or whatever they're claiming he was doing and then he was uncooperative on top of that what does that mean what is he doing in that vehicle that you saw that was so egregious that then you stop him and he's then so uncooperative that he must be faed down on the pavement handcuffed only to let him go with a couple citations so that's where there's a disconnect in all this I think from the Miami D police stand and in in you know in what uh Stephen A saying Sheffer was taken into custody he was taken and detained at it didn't let go and he went back and both guys reacted the same way did he say that he has a State Trooper hat yeah he's got a hat and he wants to be a cop and again like he was that what he said I couldn't I couldn't understand what he was saying if he State I want to be a cop one day say he had in order to be the porn star I I Jing was the state trooper Hat part of his his setup for porn that's what I was thinking is he pulling people over I I I'm pretty sure in his statement I was I watched that back twice last night like does he say I've got a State Trooper hat I want to be a cop one day I couldn't tell after state trooper if he said hat dad I I couldn't tell what he was saying and that part of it maybe he said that I don't know uh Chad we'll have to read the transcript back a lot to react to college football reaction coming up in just a moment NFL reaction we saw um Will Levis and Caleb William looked bad upsets we saw surprises and we saw history despite Caleb Williams not playing well at all and I'm being polite there I'm being polite because Chicago won the game we have history the first rookie to start and win a week one game and he's also the first number one overall pick to start win a week one game since we saw David Carr do it it's been a while 04 and one was the record Kyler Murray had the the the tie for the Cardinals but Caleb Williams who doesn't throw over 150 yards in the game and has a lot to be desired made will Levis look like the rookie and I say Caleb Williams I should say will Levis made himself look like the rookie and the Titans LED 17 nothing they lose 2417 and the Bears offense did not score an offensive touchdown in the game Caleb Williams didn't reach a 100 yards in the game passing uh will Levis did not reach 150 either thank you okay Caleb Williams by the way 14 for 29 93 yards no touchdowns no interceptions will Levis equally bad 19 for 32 for 127 that's an average of four yards po per completion a touchdown two interceptions including one one where I guess he's doing some sort of hero ball Brett Favre impression on a play where he throws a pick six that loses the game for his team Caleb Williams was awful Caleb Williams looked like a quarterback who carries a purse in that game yesterday I was reminded about the purse when I watched his performance in that game will Levis was worse he lost his team the game that is a huge problem for the Titans I said going into this Titans season the Titans more than anything they need to know at the end of the season if Will Levis is the guy or not he's 0 for one in a big way because not only did he just have a midling performance or not do great or not win the game for the Titans the the man lost the game for his team and you cannot do that when you're playing an offense that is awful and the Bears did not have it offensively Titans defense kept them in that game will Levis lost it that's a big 0 for one but that's not good news for the Titans organization Caleb Williams is going to get better first game out that offense is going to get better but the Bears getting to one and0 with that offense yesterday yeah because the mistakes by the Titans that is great news for the Bears terrible news for the Titans worst passing performance for will Levis in his now 10 career starts uh with of of any start and it was because of second and third down he's 10 of 20 passing Chad for 44 yards on second and third down against Chicago's defense props of Chicago's defense uh other than the two touchdown drives they did a tremendous job but I'm I'm with you uh in terms of who to who to blame here will Levis gets a large majority of this um special teams issues are awful as well with a return kick um the kickoff returns that set up a very short yardage field position for for Chicago led to field goals and then um you know you have the issues with the block punt that led to a touchdown those things happen too but in his 10th start you start to get a feel for a quarterback and it's it's nowhere close to where it needs to be and you mentioned the hero ball I don't know what he's trying to do uh on third down you you eat the sack there your defense is going to help you win the game they had get again Caleb Williams is not doing anything and instead he flicks the ball forward pick six I don't know if he's trying to get it out of bounds towards a line of scrimmage so it's not intentional grounding or if he just sees color I was talking with Keith Bull last night he says he just saw color he just flick the ball forward I'm thinking this is exactly what the new head coach told him not to be doing yeah and he talked about it in his press conference today too and in start number one for the new coach Brian Callahan the hopeful franchise quarterback for the Fran for the organizations's not playing like that at all well the new coach did not defend will Lis at all in the today and and you can't defend that play will Levis seems like a very intelligent uh smart also funny guy got a good sense of humor about himself the Mayo commercial and everything else the man plays dumb I mean Point Blank if I'm Brian Callahan today that's what he said in the press conference not as bluntly as I'm saying it yeah he's a stupid football player I mean you have got to get down and not take those hits does he has no other gear but to play like a maniac and Hutton you can't do that as the quarterback at all times you cannot he plays like Baker Mayfield in Cleveland yeah shoulder first you know Baker like in preseason he's going shoulder first into Houston Texans I don't think Baker Mayfield and Cleveland would have even tried that Des look like Des Watson last year doing that yeah um I don't think he would have there but that's I just you got you got to play smarter and I have not seen enough of him playing smart we could say everything every Scout has ever said about will Le Levis all field do all those things he can throw it 110 miles per hour he is not a smart football player right now and and he cost his team a football game yesterday and that's a Titans team that may not be in position to win a ton of games this year you cannot do that in that moment he also had Calvin Ridley open a couple times and just overshot him and I'm not talking about NFL open I'm talking had his guy beat down the field four or five yards behind him and over tossed it under well oh sorry yeah the one was kind of to the left and under but he also overshot an opener I don't know if it was Ridley Watson allegations for for an accused of sexual assault and battery while on a date in October 2020 this from pro football talk we'll get more details in a moment as the guys are sending me this they should send me that link if uh they have that up there um more on that in a moment from a quarterback who what timing what do you mean what timing that something from 2020 comes out the day after deshan Watson looks awful to start the season against the Cowboys I don't know if this was just filed or this is like old news that's now someone's reporting it or what's going on with it so we'll get more on on that story that developing story he's terrible awful he's terrible awful well and here's the other thing what a tough spot for the Browns they can't do anything stans's offense is not for him I don't know why the play caller is not a and he's not I don't know why he's not adjusting the offense to fit his quarterback more just saying um he should because I mean it's a good coach did a lot with four where's Joe flacko that's what I'll be asking where is Joe Flaco now is he in IND he's the backup in Indie they didn't resign him there because we would be hearing about Joe flacko today yeah that's that's the storyline is what they didn't want um so on Monday Chad they trade for Josh dobs this happened today to bring him in on Monday Watson is sued in Houston for sexual assault and battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress accusations are strikingly similar to the those made against Watson in more than 20 lawsuits filed in 2021 however the plaintiff in this case I'm reading directly from Florio who filed under the name Jane Doe contains that she went on a date with Watson most if not all of the other cases arose from Paid massages that Watson had arranged let's see was in initially unable to find her apartment he called her and allegedly began aggressively yelling and screaming and stating that he could not find her apartment and that he doesn't have time for this that's in the suit um finally arrived at Jane Do's apartment doe had not finished putting on makeup so she invited Watson in to have a seat in her living living room while she was finishing getting ready as she was putting on her makeup in the bathroom she left the bathroom door open and attempted a conversation with Watson trying to ease the tension from his angry outburst and then she quickly began to believe she was talking to herself because Watson wasn't responding again we'll let them read through this this is kind of boring so far I don't know what the details are there well it's bad news for Cleveland either way let's let's sum up all these stories by saying okay here we go here we go bad news for the Cleveland Browns she came out of her bathroom to find out why Watson was being silent and shockingly found him completely naked on her bed lying face down on his stomach while Jay do stood there in shock Watson turned his head and aggressively insisted that she massage him gesturing to his butt asked Watson what he meant what what he wanted her to massage his back and Watson indicated that it was his buttocks that he wanted massaged I'm going to need some time to process this story before responding I need a little I need a little more time just give me like a solid 30 seconds huton and then we'll we'll come back and I'll discuss she then started rubbing his back and he continued to say um focus on my glutes anyway I Expos here's my so I've had 10 seconds to process I'll just say that allegation tracks based on what we've heard based on other lawsuits and and very consistent theme with deshun Watson yeah uh why can't our guy Tyler be here on days when stories like this breaks the the one resident Browns fan in all of outkick that could be here to get his actual response in real time to the latest allegation has been put on some overnight from before um Watson then asked her what she wanted to do instead before she could answer Watson again the accusation Watson grabbed her leg and positioned her so that she was lying down Watson then partially disrobed Jane Doe and penetrated her vagina without consent she felt paralyzed un sure if she could risk her safety without by trying to stop Watson or endure or endure his assault and then roughly sexually assaulted Jane do for several minutes in a missionary position before grabbing her and flipping her over um yeah this story just coming out bad news bad news we'll uh we'll talk more about it when we get yeah it's not good Hutton I like your shirt that you're wearing today I wanted to point this out this is seems like a Victory lap by you based on a conversation we had with Kelly in Vegas last week well she was high on the Wolverines in that game covering the seven Hutton was not and look what happened Chad Austin Well Done Longhorns because and and this is an example of knowing who you are and then going out and being that team no matter where you're playing and it's also my headline for truth serum Saturday which was week two across college football and Michigan Michigan last year played bullyball at the line of scrimmage Texas did this a year ago at Alabama I picked Texas last year on the money line and I was hesitant but Quinn Ys showed up and balled out and so did that defensive front so did their offensive line they held up against a really really good Bama team Chad this go around not even close not even close they picked up some the first third down and 15 or whatever it was a third and long first drive Quinn ERS Dart down the the the hash and I knew right then and there Texas came to play they were going to win this game The Big House big in attendance not much to not much to listen to for the majority of this game props this was uh this was a bullying and Texas is here and they're I think they're here to stay with that team sarkeesian man I don't know what the true Serum is for him and what he's got go he's got his quarterbacks on point and Quinn ERS I believe is your Heisman pick right he is he looked like that player here yeah he was he was really good if we could give true serum to the Michigan Administration I almost guarantee you they would tell you that they're happy that they have not given shiron Moore a contract yet but he told he's a cont contract what I I what either way I bet they're happy that it's not locked up long term given the turnover from Harbaugh to to more they were always going to be worse because of everyone they lost the NFL I I don't know that it was going to be this much worse they don't have a championship level quarterback they had that a year ago they don't have that in Davis Warren right now at Michigan they did get bullied up front I was surprised the yardage totals were actually as close as they were I agree 389 to 286 it felt like a 300 yard difference in that game and it was not three turnovers for Michigan the game score felt like it could have been worse than it actually was in that game it was a dominating performance by the Longhorns uh up at Michigan in ant Arbor very impressive for Steve sarkeesian and that team and I my take away from the Michigan side of it is just I mean they're much worse than a year ago they still have a pretty favorable schedule I don't see them losing a bunch of games this year or anything like that I just think it's a very ho home kind of Old School Big 10 team that's got someone that's not that athletic or good at quarterback that's not going to score a ton of points it's going to play good defense and we're not going to be talking
