you know it's like you need a detective to figure out what's going to happen with him like a certain detective like the great Sherlock Holmes cousin of our next person here Dar Holmes great Segway yeah seriously Elementary my dear Watson for the record Sherlock Holmes is not a real person and not darney Holmes's cousin anyway before somebody puts in the comment section idiots think Sherlock's a real person we know that he's British from the 1880s or whatever here is one of the oldest Corners we have on the roster I just 25 years old there's 26 not be kidding the scary thing is he is tied for the second oldest on this roster at the corner position at 25 years old that's Insanity like absolutely Insanity uh 5 foot 10 195 pounds fourth round pick back in 2020 out of UCLA like the scary thing is he's one of the most 10 year Giants on this roster now that Shep is gone like he might be one of the oldest 10year Giants on the roster that's a little scary it's not saying much going to his fifth season um and it it's been a long time since Dion Sanders remember talking about him on draft night saying oh the Giants just got the best lock Corner in the draft how' that work for you Dion Because it's not working for us may not want to use those type of uh you know eye test at that point when they're looking at players for Colorado just saying just saying because yeah has it worked out for a great uh last year 16 games zero starts 18 tackles two interceptions three passes deflected one force fumble one tackle for loss and a 63.9 PFF grd and I think last year he was where he should be and let's be honest we didn't think we'd resign him last year we didn't think we'd resign him this year like I should say we know he took a pay cut last year is what it was that's right he took a pay cut last year we thought he'd be cut flat out he took a pay cut to stay on we didn't think there was a chance in hell they'd resign him this year and they have but if they keep him down the Jeet chart as a depth piece that has some experience I'm okay with that I don't want to see him being a guy that were utilizing on a regular basis barring any injuries of course it's why you have de pieces because we've already seen what happens you know he gets beat he gets caught with holding calls at bad times you know but he's also not the worst corner to have on the on the roster so it's kind of like this it's you you take the good with the bad because you recognize he's not a starter he's not a guy that you should count on for amazing play yeah he provides good de he's he's where he should be thanks for listening to two giant goofballs a New York Giants podcast we appreciate your support thanks so much
