oasis live '25 THE SETLIST

welcome back uh in the light of uh yesterday's developments um one of the first thoughts I had was what would be my dream set list for those ois comeback shows um and so I I made up one um and then it's not strictly just my favorite Oasis songs it would be a different set list but I also considered How likely it could be that they play the song you know some of my favorite songs they never or very on very s occasions performed live or some songs are just songs that I like but nobody else seems to like so it's not really just my favorite songs but it's you know what would be a great set list for a comeback show but you know bit more tuned to my taste but you know that would work also in general for stadium audience uh the intro would be hello but they won't play it uh live it's it's it's like when they had in the bushes as an intro it would just be you know an audio of that and they would go on stage to that song um because you know I I don't think the bushes should be the intro to this show uh or to the comeback shows um because we all hope there more a celebration of you know the '90s Oasis lineup you know we'll see there are some songs from post 90s here on the set list you know to have a more you know rounded more balanced um view on their their career I think there's at least from every album one song except the last album I couldn't put any song from dig out your soul in although I'm personally a big fan of falling down but a song like falling down wouldn't really be good on such a euphoric uh occasion as a noises come back um but you know without much further Ado let's go into it hello is like I said the intro and then they would start with a storming version of the song Morning Glory then Super Sonic so it's really uh a start a very climactic start then the next song would be from be now it's getting betterman I think that would be a really interesting song and in this early in the concert it's a great life song also and since especially no hat spe now one that hasn't been really played often after the 9798 too um next song aesque and then the outro you know when the the the last chorus with just no singing Liam of course walks walks off stage so the next song will be a no song and it will be Don't Look Back in Anger the first big singer long anthem of the evening then the next song will be sad song and it will start as the studio version with just n singing it but then Liam walks back on stage and sings the second wor because in his recent solo shows um like for two or 3 years he's singing this song for the first time you know before before like three three or four years ago he never sang this song but now he sings it live in his solo shows and it's great so it would be cool like no sings the first half and Liam sings the second half and that brings us to our next song you know now it's more like an acoustic section of the set the next song would be half the world away beside from the what ever single and this was all always also a null sung song but in recent show shows uh Liam solo shows he sang it so this time it will be a duad you know n and Liam singing song and this will be the first song with a string section you know there will be a string section on some songs and this will be the first one next song will also have the string section on wonder wall um then the string section goes off stage and the last song of the acoustic set will be song bir so also to have a song written by Liam gallager in in the set list at least one and then you know it it will get electric and Loud again with Colombia then roll with it some might say so three really big um rock and roll anthems in a row and then maybe an even bigger Anthem than the past like the the three songs um we've had just um even bigger Anam will be Champion Supernova with Paul well a special guest on lead guitar he also played it in in the studio version of course then uh no section so that Liam can rest his his vocal cords a bit um three n songs in a row little by little the importance of being idle and then again with strings the master plan and then the last song before the en course Liam comes back the string section also remains on stage and the last song will be whatever then the first on course uh now we are at track 18 um number 18 will be I'm the warus then Jack 19 do you know what I mean and the 20th and last song of the first block of En course will be gas Panic so also to have a song for standing on the shoulder of giants my opinion the strongest song of This Album uh then the second on course will be cigarettes and alcohol slide away and live forever free oldtime Classics from Definitely Maybe and then a very very very last the final Encore if Liam Voice still manages to to cope with that uh will be rock and roll star and that's it um I think that would be a brilliant set list um favorite songs of mine that are excluded um are listen up and good to be free I think they're not iconic enough for you know the Casual Oasis fan to you know to be warranted place in this comeback shows set list and three kind of Classics are excluded um where Shaker maker castal Shadow and Stand By Me No cast no Shadow with strings would also be a great song for the show but this is already a 24 song set list so you know you have to make some you have to um Make Some Cuts here and there um so that's my my set list
