welcome to what many call the greatest setting in college football Husky Stadium in Seattle settled nicely between the Cascades and the Olympic mountains and it doesn't get much better or much louder than this what an exciting matchup we have in store for you this afternoon built around the pageantry tradition and everything that makes college football green as we'll see a squad from the back the Eastern Michigan Eagles taking on a team from the Big 10 the Washington Huskies glad to have you with us for EA Sports college football I'm Reese Davis David Po and Jesse Palmer with me in the booth guys we are ready to Tee It [Applause] Up Easter Michigan ready to kick it off and get this game going here he comes with return nice job by the kickoff team everybody stayed in their lanes and they'll stop him at the 16 so Washington's offense will get the first swing of the game and this wide receiver he's the Lynch pin to the offense they want to make sure they find a multitude of ways to get him the football and it's a risk reward scenario on defense when you're trying to cover this guy ree because you play Man coverage you're risking running by you and catching deep balls you play too much Zone and then he can hurt you after the catch a lot of different ways this guy is very dangerous looking down field it's Rogers going to take a shot makes a catch down the right side a huge gain on that one before he ran out of bounds and he has the first down I would love to sit here and tell you that was the greatest play offensive coordinator is a genius I think that was some really bad defense the Huskies racing to the line in the hurry up he'll come out throwing on first down makes the catch it's more he's brought down pick up but a little bit short of the first down now here on second down see if they keep tossing it around he's looking to throw almost had the completion just missed it that last incomplete pass has him staring at a third and three the aerial assault continues gets it out quickly and chunk plays are the name of the game and they get one here before the def finally makes the stop I'm a big believer in taking shots early in the game and being aggressive and showing my team I got confidence in him let's go make plays first drive already Tak shots down the field nice job nice pitch nice catch this Washington offense moving quickly down the field running back searching for a hole snowed under after a pick up of two they'll mark it at the eight going to work in the Red Zone they can pick up the first down without getting it into end zone now the play fake and the pressure was too much they get him at the 15 this defense they are tenacious and they've got guys up front that are athletic and that are so strong and they can collapse the pocket you saw it right there in that play action attempt the seventh play of this opening drive will be a third and long looking to throw it's Rogers fires deep toward the end zone and that ball was In Harm's Way and he is lucky to get that one back it's wise not to be too greedy and they'll go ahead and send out the field goal unit and the kicker delivers the three to salvage that drive and that'll put the first points of the game on the board it's three to nothing so after putting three on the board the kickoff team is out there ready to boot it away he'll bring it back from inside to SP didn't find any crease in that kickoff coverage and he'll be stopped at the 17 so Eastern michig offense will go to work for the first [Applause] time this crowd full throat spreading the E drums and letting him know it's going to be a long day wants to throw on first down off the play FS it in makes the tackle at the 32 but they were backed up inside their 20 and they pick up 15 they just find ways to find the big FS those big tight ends are huge targets for theart the throws are usually in between the numbers that makes it pretty easy usually handed guys like that that just come across the field make plays the give to the back not much he could do there does pick up two to the 34 after picking up a couple at second and eight keeping it on the ground with the single back and the Freshman does a great job using his technique in getting the man on the ground better find the earplugs here comes the noise backing this defense on third down that's caught it's Mitchell he's right out of bounds but a big play on that one and it'll be a first down yeah and you've seen these curl routes this is a timing route understanding that Ball's got to come out of my hand right when he hits the top of that curl nice job by the QB finding him nice catch Easter michig and a fresh set of downs the give to the tail back able to SC three yard out of that one somehow it's second and seven kept it on the ground on first down now back to the line here's the hand off just enough room to gain a couple down to the 34 how bold will they be on third down after that last run scanning the field it's [Applause] Snider and he's got his man on the sideline he'll come up a little short of the first down here's this offense with a fresh set of downs off the play fake on first down finds his man it's Zimmerman excellent job working through the air there finding a hole in that defense and picking up a first down they're looking to pass from the red zone thow toward the end zone picked off right at the goal line and the offense makes the tackle in frustration after the interception Drive comes up empty and it's a turnover the huskys have it back trying to make this defense bow down to Washington and off from the shotgun find some room and that's what you want to get away from the goal line a 5yd pick up out to the six halfway there on first down it's second and five on the move it's Coleman they wrestle him to the ground but he's got ready for a first down here's this offense with a fresh set of downs wide receiver shows motion they'll throw it on first down and the heat gets there and they get him down at the 14 yd line offensively I love balance I love when I get some big gains on the ground now taking shots down the field but I got to protect my QB they did not keep him upright he had a chance to make a play especially after the big Run play the play before the def play in The Run QB couldn't get it done they need something that goes forward this time on second and long from the 14 they'll go to the ground now they've got Breathing Room got sixs all the way out to the 20 if they can convert here that type of play can really give you a shot of momentum back to pass it's Rogers he makes the connection and they'll bring him down but not before he picks up the first down defenses throughout the week study every third down situation you got to be ready for what they do how they do it and then be able to adjust great job by the offense so far having success and the Huskies are rolling down the field fast motion from the offense try to get the edge with a quick touch pass the defense wouldn't let him loose and even though it's a completion they lost yardage lost last one it's second and [Applause] 11 quarterback touch pass on the Jet Sweep and the defense snows him under after a very short game now facing a third and [Applause] long from the gun wants to pass throws to the tight end wide open downfield and perhaps a touchdown saving tackle as get down at the 37 on third down offenses have their play what they like in third short what they like third medium third long great job by the offense having success now it's incb upon the defense to learn their plays and try to shut it down throughout the [Applause] game they go to the ground tackle is made at the 27 let's give him 10 yards on the play and it is enough for a first down wow how about the stop start Speed that reminds you of Napoleon Kaufman or Bishop sanki miles gasin great Washington Husky running backs of years past that just made Defenders look silly because of that stop start ability this dude has some Wheels that's reeled in it's Holmes really nice job there by both guys the throw and the catch to work that defense and get the first down my goodness this offense has got it roll they might put up a 50 Burger this defense they don't have any answers right now they're going have to figure something out Washington coming to the line with another first down wide out in motion receiver going for the edge on the Jet Sweep hee's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple after that last loss it's second and 12 from the gun the running back has it can't get him to the ground relying on the Run he gets a couple before he's knocked down balls at the 13 boy they'd love to pick up this conversion and go to work with they first and goal to the air it's Rogers going for six and it's caught touchdown Huskies the great thing about spreading a defense out I can see where the blitz is coming from I can weak I can see my matchups nice job by the offense spreading them out taking advantage of their matchup and getting in for the score ling up to add another and the extra point will tack another one onto this lead precise Relentless execution on that 13pl scoring drive and they finish it by firing one in from the 13 for the score and he takes this from inside the five didn't find any crease in that kickoff coverage and he'll be stopped at the 17 Eastern Michigan has it back as the eagle offense returns to the field boy they had that last Drive moving a little bit David but then the mistake just crushed and those mistakes are going to happen you throw the football you're going to throw interceptions but I think I stay aggressive with this offense I get back to what I did in the first part of that drive what made me successful I agree David just turn the page if you're a quarterback right on this drive you did a lot of good things there leading up to that pick forget about it move on play the next play got stuffed on first down it's second and 10 he's looking to throw that's caught it's Mitchell and he'll step across the sidelines after making a good gain on that one as they come to the line on Third and short from the 43 I wonder if they already know they'll go for it if they don't make it here got the Quick Pass he's run out of bounds but he's got enough to move the sticks the offense will put it in play from the 47 on First and 10 solid fundamentals on that tackle from this freshman picked up two yards on that last one they need eight on second down they try to pop a run on the draw and a decent gain there before the defense makes the stop after the strong run on second down third down coming do they do it again they'll try to move the chains on the ground they've got it inside the 40 at the 39 as they pick up the first down offense about to reel off its seventh play of the drive quarterback on the keeper they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one yardage on that last one it's second and 11 dropping back it's Snider finds his back in the middle and the defense settled in to stop that one for a short gain Here Comes This Home crowd as the defense tries to get off the field on third down the short hands it's Mitchell right there I think you need a better play call you got to help your quarterback out a little bit because the throws got to at least to the sticks on that last play You're basically trusting the guy to make a few dudes Miss in order to go pick up that first down I think you need to start being a bit more aggressive here when these third Downs present themselves trying to find his man on first down it's incomplete and he's lucky to get that one back almost intercepted after the misfire now on second down they'll run playaction throwing right makes the catch takes it to the house touchdown Eastern Michigan timing and better execution that is just what a quarterback and wide receiver need and it's timing it's route running right you got to be precise you got to know exactly what yard you're running to the quarterback receiver on the same page that's why you get the touchdown he'll try to tack on one more and with the extra point every little bit counts as they get closer precise Relentless execution on that 13pl scoring drive and the scoring play comes on a touchdown pass from 22 yds out on the run from inside zone five he was looking for some Running Room but not much to be found as he stopped at the 18 and Washington is ready to go back on the attack after standing on the sideline and watching that long touchdown Drive they really need to put something together to give their defense a rest and that's a real thing man like you played a lot of plays you get worn out you need a chance to go decompress in the sideline get some oxygen Palmer now it's on this offense yeah this is the definition of complimentary football because it's a two-prong problem you've got to score points and answer but you've also got to take your your time and give your defense an opportunity to get their win give to the running back tackled at the 29 let's give him five on that one they'll start this one from the 29 on first down to the air it's Rogers looking to the big tight end he's got an open man and he almost ran away from everybody on that one a huge pick up on that play really nice looking pass there you think about all the great Washington quarterbacks right Warren Moon the hu Brothers Mark Brunell Jake brownie the greatest quarterback name in college football history Sunny six kill that guy was throwing seeds at the University of Washington this dude right here putting on his best Sunny six killer impersonation grab behind the line it's Mo they make the stop right there good pick up it's still short of the first down here on third down they'll stick to the ground looking for the marker he's got enough and it'll be a first down for Washington here's this offense with a fresh set of downs they're getting this guy lathered up not a whole lot of room there three yards maybe second and seven stuck with a running game on first down now here they come again looking to pass on second down they've got the screen set up and that did not work defense smelled that one out from the beginning on Third and long he has to throw for it got it in the middle it's Boston just outside the red zone as they pick up the first down they'll spot it at the 22 they'll give it to the back a seven yd pickup it'll be second and three defense has to be frustrated the offense keeps matriculating and matriculating and matriculating the ball down the field grabbed over the middle it's Jackson and they reacted well to the completion but it was too late to keep him from getting the first down the give on the inside he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple going to work on second down in the red zone is still some ground to cover to pick up that first down from the gun the running back tries to hit the hole and maybe they to try somewhere else because there is nothing doing in the middle of this defense they'd love to pick up this third down and get a fresh set with first and goal they're trying to get to it the little soft flip pass balls incomplete and they'll have to settle for a field goal [Applause] try right down the boulevard it's good so they're lining up to kick it off after that last Drive put a three spot on the board and now the defense will try to shut him down here he comes from inside his own five he was hoping for something a little more Dynamic but they get him on the ground at the 20 Easter Michigan takes over as the offense heads to the field out of the gun the give to the back into the pile maybe got one he stopped at the 21 didn't get much on first down it's second and nine dropping back it's Snider he's going for the big play catch inside the 30 and still running flying down the left side touchdown Eagles and once he got loose it was all over and you got to have your big boys up front creating you some time buying you some time and he starts all the way on the right side comes to the left what do you have to see you have to see the coverage as you come across the formation he runs to Green Grass finds space QB leads him nice big explosive play for this offense on to attempt the try [Applause] and the extra point puts him on top by one that drive a great example of just how potent this offense can be two plays 80 yard give him the touchdown the kickoff team takes the field to boot this one away on the move from inside is five he was hoping for something a little more dyamic but they get him on the ground at the 20 the Huskies have it back trying to make this defense bow down to Washington the lone backs got it found a little bit of Running Room knocked down at the 24 after a pickup of four solid pick up of four on first down at second and six motion from the offense touch pass on the right tackled after picking up the first down here's this offense with a fresh set of downs looking for a crease it's Coleman and that stiff arm is a weapon for this Runner he uses it and picks up a first down off play action on first down got him down field crosses the 30 Got Away big big gain on that one as he steps out of bounds with a first down I know it's early in the game but defensively after that play you you have to tackle the catch when this guy gets the ball in his hands he is so dangerous after the fact so it's okay for him to make catches you just got to get him to the ground quickly Washington wants to go quickly power football with the run and they'll make the Stop and we are headed to the end of the first period we have the early makings of a quarter duel as these stats will show you heading in the opposite directions now as we Crank It Up in the second right back to it they pull him down at the 17 after a pick up of three will they keep it on the ground again here on third down they'll try to power their way ahead wrestled to the ground after picking up the first down Washington has it and a fresh set of [Applause] downs to the ground with the Backes his Miss operating in the Red Zone here on second down they'll try it on the ground running the counter he bullies his way all the way down to the five yd line tight quarters deep in the Red Zone but they can pick up a first down without scoring third down it gets it inside the five down to the four be first and goal defense is backed up shadow of the goal post trying to defend their own End Zone turning to the running game on first and goal he worked his way ever closer all the way down to the one yd line now on second and [Applause] goal tries again to get it in and he takes it to the house touchdown Huskies timely decisions play management helps him get in the end zone after that marathon drive and every time the offense needed a play Boom they got it I mean you think about it whether it's a small run small pass whatever they needed they got it done and they popped it in for the score they'll try to add another to their lead and the extra point is good and the lead is six they put it in the end zone with a 12pl scoring drive and they capped it off with a one yd Pune he'll start the return inside is five nice job by the kickoff team everybody stayed in their lanes and they'll stop him at the 16 Eastern Michigan has it back as the eagle offense returns to the field the give to the lone running back slams into the pile he'll get one to the 17 didn't get much on first down it's second and nine to the air it's Snider throws to the wide out a strike down field nice pitch and catch there and they'll have enough for the first down and now a fresh set of downs for this offense a run up the middle is stuck for no game they got nothing on the last play it's second and 10 looking for space it's McMillan finding a way to put that foot in the ground and get it up to the 37 yd line Deb Rising as the crowd Gets behind this defense on third down unloads it left and he dropped it just didn't look the thing all the way in Eastern Michigan will be forced to punt the punter going to get his first work of the [Applause] afternoon looking for a block it's Boston and they'll get him down after the return at the 27 yd line and Washington is ready to go back on the attack on that last Drive defense had no idea what was happening run or pass and that wound up in the end zone Jesse yeah you saw the experience in this offense that last drive too on that touchdown everybody on the same page these guys have reped these plays over and over in practice and in games and it's working yeah so I got to find a way to disrupt it I got to find more aggressive maybe Blitz mess up this rym they got [Applause] going they'll run for it on Third and short he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple Washington sends out the punt team he'll get it to about the 25 before they put a stop to the return they'll this in play first snap of the drive from the 25 from the gun he leaves it with the back forges ahead picks up about three to the 29 after the three- yd pickup they come to the line Second and seven on the ground with the counter and he knock him down after he picks up five out to the 34 let's see what they do on third down off the RPO quick throw to the right they make the stop but the sweet throwing catches plenty to give him a first down here's this offense with a fresh set of downs from the gun running back on the move and they try the middle of this Stout defense and they rise to the challenge got stuffed on first down it's second and 10 they'll keep it on the ground at the 40 there he goes he's run out of bounds but not before turning in a big pick up and moving the sticks for a first down the run from the shotgun trying to pound their way forward he picks up a couple to the 31 picked up two yards on that last one they need eight on second down the give to the back NOS is ahead to the 30 yd line to pick up of one coming to the line of scrimmage at the 30 it would be a long field goal but they'd love to pick up a few here on Third and long it's a draw almost got to the sticks on third down able to pick up six but they're looking at a fourth and one and if the kicker can put one through this will be down up the oh now the kicker's going to throw it and they thought they could pull off the surprise well the surprise was on them a stop you want to be bold and daring but sometimes you got to know when to just take the three find Z and he's got four out to the 29 after the productive first down play it's second and [Applause] six they'll run it from the gun couldn't find a lane a pick up of one to the 31 how will they be on third down after that last run looking to throw it's Rogers and he just flat dropped it I think he wanted to run before he secured it the Huskies will be forced to boot it away second time today they've been forced to punt he gets it up to the 34 yd line before he stopped and that's where the offense will set up Shot line gets set first down they'll try the Run stuffed almost in his tracks but strong enough to pick up one to the 35 didn't get much on first down it's second and nine give to the back just sort of a Relentless run getting everything that was available to him and they'll Mark him down at the 40 out of the shotgun on third down now got his man on the right good pick up there as he gets the first down and they'll Mark him at the 48 and the Eagles come to the line with a fresh set of downs they're going to run it shakes off the tackle he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple this offense has a second down play right back to the well they knock him down right there better find the ear pluged here comes the noise backing this defense on third down he's looking to throw using the back as a receiver on the screen defense was not fooled by that screen to the back and they'll stop him short of the marker it'll be fourth down Eastern Michigan will be forced to punt this will be the second time they've had to kick it away and no shot at a return as the punt goes out of bounds the Huskies have it back trying to make this defense bow down to [Applause] Washington he'll keep it himself he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three not what they had in mind to start this drive here comes second and [Applause] 13 touch pass on the Jet Sweep they make the stop but not before he takes a chunk out of what they need to move the sticks man the defense you hold your breath when this receiver has the football out in space you have got to make sure you're playing with outstanding Pursuit nice job there but as this game goes on they've got to keep an eye on this guy and make sure they know where he is at all times Washington sends out the pun te he's got it near Midfield not able to pop the big return but they've got the ball back and ready to go with a fresh possession Eastern Michigan takes over as the offense heads to the field they had to punt it away on their last possession but man what great field position this time I mean this is awesome like last possession didn't go great now you're set up in an opportunity to get some points start thinking about what plays I like Jesse as I cross the there are a lot of coordinators out there David and in this position they like to take a shot right away and try and capitalize on this field position back to throw it's Snider pressure coming and he just throws it away that is not what you're looking for on third down fourth down coming up Eastern Michigan will be forced to punt let's see if he can help the coverage team out with this one make sure that there's not going to be a return on this one balls out of bounds and I think mark it right around the 25 he'll pull it on the re he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three last play was a near disaster now dealing with second and 13 wide receiver coming across in motion LS to fire on second down the short hands it's Jackson and they get him down well this offense told us coming in they were going to challenge this second very early and often they were going to use their speed to their advantage and take advantage of this quarterback's touch and arm talent and they already in the second quarter they've got over 200 yards thrown trying to move the sticks on third down looking to throw for it with the catch it's Hunter and he gets it done on third down they move the chains and they'll mark it at the 44 the give to the running back from the shotgun and he finds Some solid space makes a nice game before the defense is able to stop him the big pick up on first down leaves him with second and one on the option the pitch they'll finally make the tackle but that option was executed to Perfection Washington has a lot of things working set up with another first down gets it out fast makes a grab and he's dragged down and now on second down for this off leaves it with the running back he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three third down conversions are a huge stat and this one would be a doozy if they can pull it off fires to the right got his man downfield he'll be brought down at the three yd line an explosive play in the passing game as him on the doorstep hey the defense new coming into this one this guy was going to be a factor but they have done nothing to stop him they don't have any answers this guy already has over 100 yards receiving and we're not even done the half on first and goal let's see what Washington does looking to pass it's Rogers looking for the score almost intercepted they took a shot on first down and just about turned the thing over the G and he takes it in for the score touchdown husky up and over y there into the end zone and you don't want to leave your feet very often in football but this is one of those areas where you do in the End Zone near the goal line you smell it a lot of bodies in front of you just get up get over top of them get that touchdown now they'll line up for what they hope is automatic the kick is up and good and put one more on the lead almost ready to kick it away after scoring the [Applause] touchdown and they thought about a return Then thought better of it they'll bring it out to the 25 Eastern Michigan has it back as the eagle offense returns to the field he'll do it himself just couldn't get away from the tackle got nothing on first down now second and 10 from their own 25 on the ground it's McMillan they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one here comes his home crowd as the defense tries to get off the field on third down fires to the middle can't hang on to the ball he had it right in his chest and it'll be fourth down Eastern michig be forced to punt fourth time tonight we've seen this guy come on to punt he'll bring it back it's Boston this guy is a daring punt return man he's not going to settle for the fair catch a solid return gets a little bit of ground for the offense leaves it with the back you'll take four yards on first down every time second and six fires to the big F that's a really good tackle there giving up some size and still making the play after the last run would you just give it to him again on third down he's got enough to move the chains and they'll spot it at the 47 the Huskies come to the line with a new set of downs looking for a man it's Rogers fires and picked off he would have loved to make the big return there but still gives his team the ball at the 37 what a nice catch by the defensive back listen a lot of times you see DBS get in position to make plays but there's a reason they play DB and not wide receiver great job finishing the interception catching the ball making a big play Easter Michigan takes over as the offense heads to the field LS to throw on first down and wings it incomplete let's see if they go back to the air on second down out of the gun the inside K he's there to make the stop they've already punted four times in this game and they're about to run the guy out there for a fifth time if they don't pick up the first down here throws for the tight end and he just overshot his man and threw it out of bounds incomplete Eastern Michigan will be forced to punt they may have to pay him overtime he's punting for the fifth time [Applause] today and the returner runs out of real estate as he goes down offense set on first down used the play fake now to throw L one deep down the right side hits him inside the 20 is still going and they are pushing the ball down down the field a big pick up on that one the tackle is finally made and the Huskies come to the line in the hurry up they've marched to the Red Zone and here they go and he drops it just took his eye off of it at the last minute that incomp leads to Second down and 10 out of the gun the inside hand off looking for a crease staying physical in the red zone as he's pulled down after picking up three balls at the 14 to the air it's Rogers to grab down the middle they get him stopped at the two but it'll be first and goal this offense has been a juggernaut and they have a chance to pad their total just before half time they'll try to run it in Into The End Zone he goes touchdown Washington what a day his third rushing touchdown and when you got your college fantasy football team going this guy ising those points up for youing lining up for the p and with the extra point they push the lead out a little further a very efficient five play scoring drive and finish to deal with the short tou down run from the two he'll bring it back from inside as five nice job by the kickoff team everybody stayed in their lanes and they'll stop him at the 16 Eastern Michigan has it back as the eagle offense returns to the field boy they've been caught in a buzz saw here in the first half but maybe a chance to carry some momentum into the break here it all comes down to this drive right here Reese obviously this offense hasn't had everything go right for them in the first half but here's an David to execute some plays put some throws together and generate some points and you're right Jesse and this offense needs to start now like we got to get some points on the board create some momentum and continue it because you've dug yourself a significant hole got it in the middle it's Mitchell at the 45 on and he's brought down after a huge completion bang bang slant get it to him quick put it out in front so he can advance the football his ility in the open field is a Difference Maker for this offense they just changed the dynamic of this possession in a heartbeat and now it's first and 10 from inside the Red Zone they're threatening to score and they'll throw it he's the tight end and he might be known for run fits but that was a sure and heavy tackle on the tight end dropping back it's Snider fires to The End Zone haded in his hands for the score and let it fall to the turf it'll be third down after that last one they're staring at a second and long first down marker just short of the goal line makes the grab and he wanted to score badly but the defense wrestles him down at the two just a few seconds remaining here as they try to put something up before halftime from the gun he'll try to throw and he'll Chuck it into the cheap seats there and save the down nobody getting open there and in the waning seconds of the first half they'll try to put up three before going to the break it is as he puts three on the board and they'll Trot off to the locker room after the field goal to close the half that's the end of the second quarter that means it's time to join Kevin in our halim update fellas looks like we've got a great scene today in Seattle each of these two offenses has looked like well oiled machines but it doesn't take a genius to figure out these two passing attacks have run circles around these defenses man or Zone nothing seems to be working and I'm not sure that defensive coordinator is going to be able to figure things out here at halim and with that let's head back to the G Pacific Northwest and the Fellas at UD Washington about to boot it deep to start things in the second half and he takes this from inside the five didn't find any crease in that kickoff coverage and he'll be stopped at the 17 Easter Michigan takes over as the offense heads to the field they start this third quarter in a big hole and they have to start climbing out right now and they're going to have to be really aggressive like this offense when I'm playing from behind every possession means so much more and if you look the other side the defense they haven't given much resistance yeah nothing has gone their way in the first half offensively and you know now based on how this defense is playing with their confidence that you are going to be challenged on every single Red Zone trying to get touchdowns so after the huge chunk play they've got it first and goal from the 10 hand off to the single back snowed under after a pick up of two they'll mark it at the eight going to work in the Red Zone they can pick up the first down without getting it into the end zone quick touch pass to the receiver he had all kinds of company as soon as he got and he had to fight his way back just to get to the line of scrimmage third and long and they'll need to get it close to the goal line to convert fires into the end zone and he's got it touchdown Eagles that dude's really big how in the world did they lose him because down here he does a lot of blocking and you play a lot of man coverage in the red zone and what do you do you peek in the back field and you lose the big fell I don't know how he lost that big of a guy but he lost AAS P unit on the field and it's up and good they marched 79 yard on the drive and they finish things off with an eight- yd toss for the score about to kick it off after punching it in for the touchdown he'll start the return inside his five he was hoping for something a little more Dynamic but they get him on the ground at the 20 to stop the run game that's been chewing him up might as well run him until they stop him he's got it again and a really nice run and pick up there before the defense avoided disaster and the really big play every offense wants to be able to run the ball and be physical especially on first down and you want to create second and short third and short or just get first downs like that run right there the Huskies with the first and 10 quarterback on the keeper got the first down and more makes a stop at the 35 yd line they rip off 15 yards on that one and they are rolling they'll go to the ground and that's a very productive first down play and bringing up second and three the offense showing motion from the tight end trying to get a read on the D they'll switch it up here and look to throw he'll take a shot got it and he is marked out of bounds after another big game this aial attack has no problem moving the ball with chunk ples time winding down in the quarter as they come to finds his big tight end and he laid the lumber to stop him from getting the first down I don't think he was the primary receiver on that play David but a very productive pick up on first down and these tight ends are so good at understanding zones and where to sit down and listen it's not the huge game down the field but it's always Death By A Thousand Cuts small gains great tackles and continue to move the sticks couldn't find his man last time now they'll have to convert third and four wants to throw it's Snider and this is going to be incomplete on third down in the fourth quarter it's too late for empty possessions they'll go for it on fourth down he'll try to throw and pick up the first down makes the catch he's got enough a quick tackle made but he's got plenty for the first many struggles and at this point in the fourth quarter you're trailing by a ton of points the defense knows you're throwing it and they're pin ears back and they are getting after as you saw it on that sack there after not getting a thing done on first down it's second and long from the 24 he's looking to throw and the pass is incomplete thanks to a big hit this is a third and long he's looking down field to throw and the third down pass is incomplete down by m multiple possessions you can't come up empty on this drive they'll go for it on fourth down looking deep down the right side can't complete the long throw and the defense gets off the field on fourth down first down here for the [Applause] offense use the play fake now to throw shoots it to the left off the deflection missed a great chance to force the turnover instead it'll be second down couldn't make the connection last time let's see if they throw it again the play action fake throws to the wide out on target to the left defense knocks him down immediately after the catch but now they're facing a goal to go situation from the seven quickly complete touchdown huskies and The Stomping has commenced points points and more points this offense has had their way they just keep their foot on the gas keep putting up points keep putting up touchdowns and you know what this is one of those stats days you look back and you're like that guy had 12 touchdowns on the year Well four or five of them might have been in this game lining up to tack one more onto that lead and with the extra point the lead is even bigger quick strike offense on that three play scoring drive and they close the deal with the seven Y for the score returner is going to try to see what he can get and they'll get him on the ground as the offense comes out to start the next Drive opening play this drive comes from the 13 yd line and it just squirted through his hands he wanted to take off and got too anxious and here comes the offense on second down back to pass it's Snider fires to the wide out incomplete and he threw that one up for grabon into traffic fortunate to get it back not exactly the ideal situation for this offense third and long back up inside their 20 finds him out of the back field and sure tackling there to keep him from getting to the first down marker Eastern Michigan will be forced to [Applause] punt on the move it's Boston and the returner could find no daylight he goes down and Washington is ready to go back on the attack this offense has really been clicking in the game so far Jesse no doubt everything they play caller is dialing up these guys offensively have been able to go out and execute D yeah and it's just maintaining the lead keep doing what you've been doing you got a big lead let's just keep piling it on until they find an answer off play action unloads to the right reacted well to the tip but just couldn't squeeze the football instead of the turnover it'll be third down some Running Room but not much to be found as he stopped at the 18 Eastern Michigan takes over as the offense heads to the field they'll come out on this drive and let it rip unloads to the wide out complete to the right he will step out of bounds but not before the big pick up and a first down for this offense this quarterback is having a man moment in this game these are the types of games that Heisman voters are going to pay attention to he's now got over 450 passing efforts open a drive like that it opens a world of possibilities first down from the 43 he wants to throw he finds his man direction he wanted the Huskies have it back trying to make this def bow down to Washington one back in the back field and they'll give it to it tackle is made at the 28 after a pick up of three after
